We had a wonderful stay at the GG. I would recommend this luxury inn, and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Walla Walla. The inn is gorgeous as you drive up; in a beautiful tree lined setting with one of Whitman Colleges iconic brick buildings across the street. Once inside you are greeted with a glass of champagne and a warm welcome from Karrie. We stayed in the champagne room, which has a full bathroom, a seating area, balcony and a very comfortable king sized bed with luxury bedding. We were struck by how quiet it is in that area and slept soundly, waking up refreshed. The common areas of the century old inn are amazing. Karrie and Connie have decorated it as a French boutique hotel. When we arrived a small wedding was just wrapping up and it was so romantic. We had a great continental French breakfast and explored downtown Walla Walla within walking distance. If you have the chance to stay at the GG you definitely should.

Visited on a tour of Holiday Homes. Haven't stayed. Fun eclectic decor. Beautiful architecture. A place to host events with friends. Unattached guest house with an upstairs area with a bug-free evening sit-with-friends-and-have-wine.

It s a gem! Vibrant, creative and comfortable. Great combination of new and historic. Hosts were exceptional and very attentive at all times. We were greeted with warmth and that feeling stayed with us throughout the stay. Common are space and the porch were inviting spots to read and relax with a glass of wine. It felt like staying with friends and family at a large villa. Enjoyed walking around tree-lined neighborhood with my coffee in the mornings.Rooms: I have Four Seasons bedding at home because I m spoiled and goodnight sleep is worth every reasonable expense. From mattress to quality of linen at The GG - they absolutely nailed the comfort so I felt right at home. Extra spacious rooms with thoughtful touches - Nespresso coffee maker, ice bucket and even hair ties if needed!Noteworthy details: The innkeepers have put significant effort in decor. It s not only creative, it has a fabulous feel.

Stayed in the Cabana with my 2 daughters. The decor is a delight. Plenty of room and very comfortable and quiet. Karrie is a wonderful hostess. We felt like good friends from the moment we arrived. This was a short getaway planned months ago by my daughters to celebrate my birthday.I felt so pampered and spoiled by them and by Karrie.

The GG was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay! The Cabana was gorgeous, the rooms in the main house were beautiful and well curated. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. Kerrie and Connie have done a great job with the property! The 3-course meal on the lawn was delicious, but not worth the $130/person. We were hungry soon after dinner again. We were also charged for firewood after wanting to have a fire in the fire pit area. This is advertised on the website, but nowhere does it say it's an additional charge. Not worth it for $50 of firewood. When we were clearly checking out (bringing luggage to the car), Kerrie knocked on the door and asked if we were checking out (this was before 11am, when checkout time is), and it made us feel rushed, which was annoying. We've paid for the space until 11am, and were clearly cleaning up and checking out. We think it's because they wanted to give a tour to another couple staying on the property.Otherwise, it was a great stay! Would still recommend friends to stay at the GG, but make sure you clearly communicate beforehand, as there were some additional costs that were not clearly communicated before, and were placed on the bill after.

We stayed at The GG for a terrific 3 nights. We were greeted with sparkling wine, which we thought was a very nice touch.Karrie took us on a wine tour the next day, which was fantastic. We highly recommend it.We also took advantage of the Friday Chef's Dinner. It was delicious! Karrie paid attention to our wine preferences and paired the perfect wine for us at the dinner.Karrie is a caring and attentive hostess. This was our 4th stop on an 18-day road trip, and our experience was far and above any other place we have stayed.Thank you Karrie.

We had a lovely anniversary weekend of wine-tasting with the GG as our home base. Super comfortable room (great bed and shower), warm/wonderful hosts who were attentive to every need, yummy breakfasts on the porch, plus easy walking distance to downtown, to the Whitman campus, even to an evening Sweets game! Thanks for everything.

Here in Beverly Hills, LVMH lost the special election to establish its first Louis Vuitton hotel in America. What is a Louis fan to do? Look no further than the GG in Walla Walla, Washington, a prototype Louis Vuitton hotel if ever there was one! This delightful Inn s inviting aesthetic is matched by the warmth of the owner, an avid LV collector who has furnished all the rooms with Louis Vuitton trunks and the like. We were welcomed graciously and our every need was catered to. The in-house chef whipped up delicious meals that were more akin to French gastronomy due to their harmony of flavors from local products, and a fine marriage between the food & wine! My partner wanted a bonfire experience, so the GG staff provided us with wood, while an employee was always in reach to ensure safety. The owner, Karrie, took her time answering my many inquiries on her fabulous collection interjecting antidotes of her travels & adventures. What a kind, thoughtful soul she is! Karrie overheard me mention early in the day that I like hot chocolate, and had a steaming cup delivered to our room at my night reading time, while the Nespresso machine in our room was my partner s choice. We awoke to heavenly scent of homemade apple cinnamon scones baking that took me back to a summer spent in London. It really is the little things; the attention to detail both in decor & service that makes this our new favorite American Inn! We can t wait to return. P.S. yes, you can buy parts of the GG s Louis Vuitton collection and take home a luxurious souvenir!

This was my second stay at The GG and it was amazing! The atmosphere there was incredible, I could walk around looking at all the details for hours and hours. Our dinner prepared by a private chef was tasty and so much fun. The whole experience was so wonderful. The cabana was a perfect place for a girls trip and I can t wait to visit again!!

Stayed here for Spring Release Weekend as they hosted XOBC Cellars dinner. From the moment Karrie answered the phone, to the texts that kept me feeling cared for and clued in, saying I enjoyed my stay is an extreme understatement. The warmth of Karrie when she picked me up from the airport was so welcoming. I got a tour after dropping my bags at the Cabana & WOW did they do a FANTASTIC job with updating and creating a beautiful & warm space. I thoroughly appreciated that she did a breakfast shop for us (asking about what we would prefer &/or need) and of course we enjoyed chef Mauro s delightful cooking. What a treat. Brunch was also knocked out of the park. Truly remarkable stay. 10/10 Can t wait to return!

Absolutely stunning! The Green Gables was the perfect place for a weekend of wine, friendship and relaxation. Connie and Karrie were the most fabulous and accommodating hostesses. Poised with smiles and positive energy, we felt welcomed right away. No detail was missed from the impeccable taste in furniture and decor, to the tasty food and drinks. Thank you for making this a weekend for the books!

The 1909 bed and breakfast house has a fantastic, updated interior design. However, its historical floor plan and woodwork are reminiscent of its past. When we arrived, the gregarious hostess offered us champagne! The outdoor porch has comfortable seating, and we ate a delicious breakfast quiche on the porch. (The food is "healthy.")

We came to Walla Walla for the first time to visit winery's and join friends for the Tomato Festival started by Mauro Golmarvi and Connie Blumenthal and her twin sister Karri. We were greeted after a 6hr drive with a glass of local wine and a drink from the bar for my wife. The Hotel felt like a step into Luxury. We toured the Hotel with the twins and got the history and it was great. We got into bed of the LV room, which was enormous with its own patio. The bed was amazing and my wife almost took the sheets home with us. We toured Walla Walla's main St and came back HOME to the GG for a drink and relax on he porch. Amazing place and a Magical stay. Thank you for such fantastic hospitality.

Came for spring release weekend. We were welcomed immediately and treated like family members you hadn't seen in years. We were shown the grounds and given the history of the building. The room was perfect, small and cozy, with the perfect amenities.Walla Walla is gorgeous and if you need a place to stay and you are not into chain hotels and such, the GG is the place to start.Already planning the next trip back.

We really enjoyed staying here, the atmosphere is calm and pleasant. We loved the breakfasts, it was so delicious and the table setting felt very fancy. I have food restrictions, so I didn t expect to be able to eat much. However they went way beyond and made me delicious gluten free breakfast food. Having breakfast out on the front porch was definitely the highlight of the stay. It is also a beautiful house with interesting and cute decor.

Our stay was excellent. Walking up and into the house felt welcoming, very neat and clean. Our room was amazing with a balcony overlooking the front of the property. The neighborhood was serene, we took advantage of the cruisers and explored the neighbor. The Innkeeper was there every morning, she and her staff are very friendly and accommodating. We will be back with family!

We recently held my husband s 60th birthday party at the GG and it was beyond amazing! When I met with the owners Connie and Karrie, I was extremely impressed with how interested and involved they were in planning the celebration. I shared with them my vision of the evening, and they did not disappoint. The GG is close to downtown in a beautiful, picturesque area of Walla Walla making it the perfect placed to gather. Most of the guests who attended the party were from out of town, and the owners made everyone feel welcome. The food was fabulous and the staff was attentive and fun. It was truly a magical night! I highly recommend the GG for your next event. They made us all feel special and our experience ideal. Vikki Whitmore

Beautiful older home (1909) with 5 rooms on the second floor and large common areas on the main floor. We had a large suite and an out door patio with lots of space to enjoy the beautiful old trees with all the fall colors. Breakfast was so good. I had the brioche french toast with bananas foster, fresh berry smoothie and scones. Coffee was excellent too. Very nice place for a relaxing or romantic get-a-way.

A beautiful room in a beautifully restored home in a beautiful neighborhood walking distance to downtown. The breakfasts here were exceptionally good and it was so enjoyable to have them on the porch. My favorite out of all the places we stayed on this trip.

We had a reservation for this weekend at The GG or whatever they ve decided to call it. We booked our stay one year in advance and the new owners decided to cancel our reservation and then double the price. We have stayed there for the past 10 years. So. We stayed at the courtyard Marriott. Was it the same no. But for the price it was just fine. We will find a new place to go.. and then when the GG fails because the new owners have no scruples. We will be back because it is indeed a cool place just not the type of people we want to do business with. Be ware.

Nice accommodations. We stayed in the guest house. Neat little quality additions/amenities. Comfortable beds. Great location. Fireplace was wonderful at night. Living room a great place to gather in the evening. Only disadvantages: the lower level of the guest house has very low ceiling sections. So my husband and son who are over 6ft had to bend down in sections of the lower level so they didn't bump their heads. Also, we were there in winter so lodging/house look kind of run down on the outside. And no one was at the inn to greet us. Which seemed odd for an inn. We were emailed a lock/code to get into the house. And during our entire stay we never met anyone else on the grounds. No inn keeper, etc.
