PROS- Spacious free parking lot- Directly next to Highway 12, less than 10 minutes into Downtown- ROOM AMENITIES: Microwave, coffee pot, huge mini fridge, efficient heat / AC- Easy check in, check out process. Employees were pleasant.MID- Breakfast is pretty bare bones but I appreciate the offer. The only protein is frozen Jimmy Dean sandwiches. Other generic options included - budget yogurt and cereal, toast, cutie oranges, and juice. Waffle maker was the highlight.- Everything appeared clean, just don t look too close into the cracks and corners. Small room but not claustrophobic, toilet was low to the ground- All the furniture was scuffed or had something loose, not bothersome just noticeable- Door deadbolt and sink faucet were finicky- Layout of hotel is awkward, especially elevator placement- Hallways dimly lit and strong smell of cleaning suppliesCONS- Bed and pillows were incredibly stiff, kept me up all night and hurt the next day- A/C kept getting trapped behind the curtains and wouldn t circulateYou get what you d expect if you keep your expectations low. I got a pretty good rate through Expedia, and would've been disappointed spending a penny more. It could ve been 4 stars had it not been for the bed. That alone leaves me feeling right down the middle at 3. Next time I m in Walla Walla I ll splurge for a nicer hotel.

I arrived early and without my physical ID for reservations I had made a month ago. The desk clerk/room manager was very gracious and accepted a picture of my ID it matched addresses and debit card/credit card, etc... no extra fee for being hours early. The room was spotless as a motel room could be. Very early in the morning, I had interaction with another desk clerk/room manager, and he was equally wonderful. At 4 am, I was looking for coffee, and he immediately offered to make me fresh coffee and was friendly and informative.Thank you staff at super 8 you guys rock!!!!We will be back Rooms: The beds are very comfortable, more channels available on the TV than I could ask for.The room smelled fresh, not the usual stuffy smell some have.I slept great, and that's saying alot.

Love the location. Search inland for better fuel prices. Muliple fast food, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. Airport is one mile east. Plenty of parking. Some Wyndam properties are more updated than others. This on is good alt property if you're in town on a wine tasting budget. A popular spot for business travelers. Wifi is excellent. Continental breakfast is lacking TLC but sufficient if you are the dine and dash type. All in all? I'd stay again.Nearby activities: Bowling lanesSafety: Standard police patrol route,. Onsite surveilance cameras Nearby residential housing,. Median income neighborhood.Walkability: E'rthing is within walking distance. Open fields adjacent to property are great pet walking areas.

My husband and I have been traveling across the US for about 3 years now, and we have made Super 8 our jam. This was one of the nicer locations that we have stayed. My only complaint is the lack of choices for breakfast.Again, it is not as bad as some (only packaged pastries), but having more than just cereal and waffles is a bonus.

I have practically been living here for the past month because I'm working in Walla Walla. The staff here is the best. From the front desk to house keeping. I know I'm always getting the cheapest price they can give me and that's awesome with the prices of rooms now days!!! They are also the only motel in Walla Walla that doesn't make you pay $250-$500 for a "covid deposit" That's why I stick with them when it comes staying in a motel.

Called super 8 spoke with front desk asked if I was to pay for a room online for the 3rd to the 4th would I still be able to check in and I was told yes he would just check me in early. So i Paid for the last room left online after midnight and come check in around 3am paid an extra $25 for the early check in. And then at about 8am the front desk says there's a problem with my room. She said that I either got check out at 11 today or I got to pay for an extra night. That I am only supposed to be able to check in an hour early which would be 10am. I feel like that isn't my fault what so ever and I shouldn't have to pay extra cuz I didn't get make this mistake they did. Also I why should I pay for a full whole night again when I was only here 7 hrs before check in? And doing the math u pay for 21 hours from check in time to check out time and so I divided the rate I paid by 21 hours which gave 3.47 an and times that by 7 that equals 24.49 and I paid 25. So I think should call it even.

Nestled in the quiet Eastside of Walla Walla, this Super 8 hotel is an oasis. The service was impeccable, the pool refreshing, and the breakfast delicious. Breakfast choices included make your own waffles, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, and coffee and juice. The room was comfortable and roomy and very clean. This Super 8 is a must stay for those travelling through southeast Washington.Rooms: Rooms are just the right size with a queen bed, TV, coffee, and roomy bathroom.Safety: Quiet surroundings and nearby residential neighborhood made the area safe and quiet.Walkability: One can walk to grocery, fast food, restaurant, bar, etc.Food & drinks: Several eateries close by including one of the best pizza places I've ever been to.

Sometimes you find a place deserving of a review better than 5 stars. This is one of those places. Incredible staff, quick check in and a spotless room. Delicious breakfast. Very affordable. More affordable than any other hotel I found. Not sure why it's only a 2 star, I believe it meets 3 star guidelines and all three of those stars are shining bright. An absolute pleasure!

We stayed at the Super 8 Walla Walla when traveling with a youth music group. There are a couple of red flags regarding this hotel you should know.1) The hotel was not prepared for a group check-in. We have stayed at numerous hotels over the years. Every hotel we've ever stayed at (and we've stayed at many dozens over the years) has required us to submit a rooming list in advance, and upon check-in, they provide the tour director or leader with a rooming list that has already assigned room numbers to that list. With this industry-standard system, check-in of 40 people can take five minutes. At the Super 8 Walla Walla, they had our rooming list handy, but had not yet assigned room numbers, nor did they have the keys ready to go. And as tour director, I had to sign individual contracts (with initials) for every single room, rather than a single master contract. With my help (writing in room numbers and the Wi-Fi pass on the keycard envelopes), check-in took more than a half hour.2) The hotel advertises a "hot breakfast." If hot breakfast means there's something hot available (waffles), then yes, they serve a hot breakfast. But it has been my experience that "hot breakfast" means eggs, sausages, etc, in addition to the other more common items like fruit, muffins, etc. The hotel had a few "breakfast sandwiches" with croissant, egg, sausage, and cheese (sort of like an egg McMuffin) but these went fast and there weren't enough to serve the needs of all hotel guests. Some in our party expecting a full hot breakfast were simply out of luck. Sorry, Charlie,Based on our experience, I would definitely avoid group bookings at this hotel, especially if you're traveling with youth. And buyer beware that their breakfast isn't really a hot breakfast in the usual sense that the hotel industry uses.

Air conditioning was out so the room was stuffy and had a bad smell. Opened the window and door for a while then had to sleep with the window open for a cool breeze. The carpet is just begging for a cleaning. Hard beds and flat pillows, some of the thinnest bathing towels I've seen. We didn't actually stay in the room much during the day because we had so much going on. The kids did go swimming but only for a few minutes the first night. They said the water looked dirty and it smelled bad so I never even tried going. They asked if we could go to a river or lake because it would be better. We have stayed here before but its been years. I don't remember it being this bad.Next time I will check availability earlier at other motels.

You know? For the price and location, you couldn t ask for better. The room was quiet and comfy. The bed was a bit lumpy but so are car seats, right? The staff was attentive and moreover the in room coffeemaker was there for me in the morning. It has a large TV, mini fridge and a microwave. The heater works quietly. I m not giving it five stars because I m not that kind of guy.A couple more things, if Wyndham is reading this bigger towels please!Love the water pressure and temperature.

Rooms are clean and solid. Fridge, microwave, desk, clothes hanging area, 2 night stands and tv.Not fancy, but nice and quiet and they're pet friendly. We will be back.Food & drinks: Breakfast: fresh coffee service, full sized microwaveable breakfast sandwich, flavored yogurt, 2 cereals, milk, apples, waffle maker. Maybe toast and pastries, not sure.Noteworthy details: Indoor heated pool area was very clean, outdoor patio attached with privacy fence.

This hotel was a real value for the price the staff was excellent Ray at the front desk went out of his way to accommodate us and our service dogs. He helped solve our TV issue quickly and courteously, THANK YOU!Erica was the morning staff member and she also had excellent customer service skills. It s hard to find good work ethic in employees these days you ve got two champions on your team

We stayed here for two nights and was pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean and the air conditioning worked great. We made a pool reservation and enjoyed ourselves. All our interactions with the staff members were positive. They granted us a late checkout when our breakfast outing at a local restaurant went longer than expected. Will stay again.

It was a nice stay. It was exactly what I needed for a short two night trip to Walla Walla. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner was great and hummed quietly all night (helps me sleep), and the hotel itself was quiet. The people working were friendly. I only took off a star because the room coffeemaker and hairdryer were not working. It's not a fancy hotel, but it has everything one should need. I didn't get to take advantage of the breakfast because I decided to sleep in, but I will next time I'm in town.

The room is a run of the mill super but April the lady that works at the front desk is probably the best customer service provider ever. I have worked on the road the last 15 years of my life and by far April is the best. She knows your name when you call and gets the best rates for workers. She really makes the stay at this super 8 easy and a no hassle place to stay.
