Showed up for a rock chip repair through my insurance and Lewis got right to work on my Outback. Had a pleasant visit with him while he worked on my windshield. I had a heck of a chip that actually shattered some of the glass surface so while it didn t disappear completely it s certainly a massive improvement. Lewis is exactly the kind of guy you want to work on your auto glass. Knowledgeable, straightforward with his work, and volunteers in the community. Take your car straight to him for your glass needs.

Not sure of he was in a bad mood or what, got a quote, told them I was going to look around and check prices, got told I didn't have to use them and got hung up on. Decided to use someone else even tho the price was higher due to that interaction. Everyone else seems to have good reviews, so just don't tell them you're looking for quotes everywhere I guess?

Backstory:My Fianc� and I needed a new vehicle due to being in a roll-over accident we hit black ice, coming back from Wallowa Lake, OR. (Vehicle was totaled).. We used our insurance payout as a down payment for a vehicle from a used dealership in Tri-Cities. We ended up with a 2006 Cadillac Escalade (AS IS Condition)..At the time we had a rental that needed to be returned on Mar 29th. After driving the vehicle back to Walla Walla we noticed that there were rock chips in the windshield. (Passenger Side Large Chip on the outside specifically, plus minor hairline cracks and chips) unfortunately we missed this during the initial test drive.On Apr 06, 2022We decided to start calling around locally to get quotes for a windshield repair. I will say when we called Economy Glass we got extremely lucky with a quote of $325 plus Tax ( * Quotes are based on vehicle make, model and year prices may vary). While we were on the phone with Lewis, He was telling us that the windshield we would be getting is a premium glass that is used in high end trucks, etc. and that he only had one more in stock. We met with Lewis, the Owner who is friendly and professional. We were told it would be around 90 Minutes for a windshield replacement.We returned to Economy Glass, where the windshield was installed and it looked beautiful! We were very satisfied with the job his technician did. There was some tape on the upper part of the windshield (see photo) we were instructed to leave it there for an hour before removal. We thanked Lewis for the wonderful job before we left.On Apr 07, 2022We Had to take a trip back to Economy Glass to have a small chip repaired (we were on the side of the Semi-Truck and a rock flew up and dinged our newly replaced windshield!) Thankfully the ding was tiny enough to where Lewis was able to put a sealant inside the ding (which is barely noticeable) to prevent any additional running.While were were there we mentioned that the Windshield Wiper Fluid wasn't working. Lewis took a look and found the issue, he was kind enough to replace the hose that dispenses the liquid for us in the front and got the back window fluid working as well! We spent $50 for his time and Thanked him for his service.Lewis is an honest, and reliable businessman who is very knowledgeable in his field, we really appreciate how thorough he is with our questions. We are very happy and will return as needed for future repairs!-- Lance and Danielle

This is our second experience with Economy Glass, and we are extremely satisfied. Last year we had several small rock chips repaired in our 1995 Suburban. Lewis quickly fixed these for us.We took the Suburban on a trip to the Southwest, and during that trip got a large rock chip in the windshield. Unfortunately this chip caused the windshield to crack. Upon returning home we called our insurance company and asked that the windshield replacement be done by Economy Glass. A couple days later we received a call from Lewis saying he had a premium windshield ready for us and he could do the work that morning. We took the Suburban to Economy Glass, and by noon Lewis called to say the work was done. Lewis was friendly and efficient, and the work is excellent. We highly recommend Lewis and Economy Glass!

Economy Glass is one of those hidden Gems! The last year we ve had a windshield replaced, a rock chip repaired, and a door window that fell off the hinges fixed. Every time we come in, they make us feel important and get us taken care of right away. It s also worth pointing out that they are more mechanically equipped and experienced than advertised. This is a family-owned business that s been around for over 30 years and they have it figured out! The prices are always fair and reasonable. We ve been pleased with the quality of work provided on every occasion. What makes them extremely outstanding is the customer service they provide! We walk away knowing that we are taken car of and when the time comes, we will be back! Thank you, Lewis and family! David

Was in town for the holidays visiting family. When I was driving I hit a bird and needed to get my entire windshield replaced. No one in town would do same day. I was calling all over. When I called he told me he could and he stayed even after hours to make sure it was done and I was taken care of. He made sure I got home safely. Thank you so much

One of the reasons I love Walla Walla is the quality and care offered by local businesses. Economy Glass is a great example. When my windshield cracked recently, I first checked out the national chain as a default. But they were 50 miles away and could not fix it for almost two weeks. When I called Economy Glass, Lewis gave me a reasonable quote, he had a replacement in stock, and my new windshield was installed in less than 24 hours after I first called him. And, as he explained, with a better-quality product than the original Subaru part (I later researched online and verified that claim).Friendly. High Quality. Fast. Fair priced. I recommend Lewis and Economy Glass!

It's no mystery why Lewis has been in business over 30+ years. Courteous service, professional workmanship and fair often discounted prices. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Economy Glass to anyone.

Amazing local family run shop! Certified Safelight Glass installer, with over 30K windows installed you can be assured they will do a excellent job! They work with insurance companies right on the spot! Economy glass used high grade glass, and have installers that go the extra miles to make sure your glass last! A++++

Economy Glass and Solid Automotive located on Isaac's Avenue two doors down from Burger King is a small family-owned business. Lewis May and Brian May are the owners and are both extremely knowledgeable in their field. Louis runs economy glass and repairs windshields and also has a small used car business. Brian is the mechanic and is extremely knowledgeable and most professional. They are both kind-hearted and will go out of their way to help someone out.I have to tell this story. I once was at Burger King Drive-Thru placing my order through the microphone and my car died and would not start. It was about 8 at night and I just driven by Solid Auto and noticed the lights were still on. I took a chance and called Brian and he was indeed still there. He stopped what he was working on and came right over to help me out.I was in the shop yesterday getting a battery charged by Brian and started talking to Lewis about getting some rock chips in my windshield repaired and asked about making an appointment and he said I didn't need to. He would do it right then if I had the time. About 20 minutes later it was done.Thank you Lewis and Brian!If you need your vehicle repaired these are the guy's to want to take it to. You will be happy with their service.Please, Please support your ma and pa businesses these guy's have been dealing with the road construction for the past year and the Co-vid 19.

Wow! Lewis at Economy Glass is the expert. We were visiting town and rock kicked up and made a small crack in our windshield. We stopped by and Lewis took care of us for a very reasonable price. He even has his own device that he created that deals with the cracks.Highly recommend Lewis for anyone in need of auto glass repair.

They are extremely knowledgeable and they are Safelite authorized for your insurance! If you need a repair or a windshield replacement Economy Glass is a MUST! A safelite shop or mobile unit will NOT give you the high quality work and experience these professionals will. They do it well and do it right!

They took care of a gasket that came out on a windshield that had been replaced just a few months prior where we live. We were traveling and didn't know where to try, read the reviews, and decided to give them a try. Their kindness and competence was very much appreciated.

Called to ask about two services .one for a new truck windshield and one for a smaller piece of stand-alone glass. I apparently made a mistake asking about the small piece of glass first. The guy that answered decided I wasn t worth talking to after mumbling something at me and hung up on me. I didn t even get to ask about getting the windshield replaced, and Now I never will.

Economy Glass has been amazing for my husband and I. They always do an amazing job on our windhields. They also have great prices. This weekend they went above and beyond to help us out. We were coming into town when we got a rock to the window. We went straight there as the Crack was spreading fast across the drivers side. They didn't have a windshield in for our truck so they ordered it. They stayed until 9pm putting it in on a Friday night. They then opened up on Saturday morning for us so they could make sure everything had cured correctly before we came to pick it up. Amazing customer service. I live in Sandpoint Idaho but would make the drive to Walla Walla to have Economy Glass work on my windshields if I ever have the need.

Called in for a quote and was on the phone for 33 min while he looked things up when asking simple question he kept telling me to read his google reviews. Pretty sure he s getting fake 5 star cause there are 4 back to back on the same day you get a bad review?? Shady business!!!

They have replaced 6 or 8 of my windshields over the last 20 years. Always the best prices on auto glass, they have years of experience and good warranty if there's a problem.

I got a rock chip in my window over the weekend, called first thing Monday morning and Lewis got me in, repaired and back on the road super quick. Best windshield repair in the county.

If I could give a 0 I would the second I walked in ask for one of the pieces that I needed and was told to go to the dealer this person needs to close his doors I couldn't even ask for more of what I needed cause he was that rude older gental man needs to retire worst experience I have had with a glass shop and ran many businesses using glass shops won't ever be back and don't recommend anyone uses them we need to bring back the customer service not this negativity
