Very dependable mechanic. Tim got me in and out in record time. I was in a tough spot and he heard me out and made things happen. I left the shop on time, crossed the mountains and the repairs were flawless. It was my second repair I've received at this garage and I am grateful to have a trusted mechanic. Cash talks.

When I was purchasing a car in Walla Walla, I needed a mechanic to look it over and make sure the car had little to no issues. I called this gentleman and he made the whole process super easy for me as I was out of town.After he inspected the car, I went back to meet with him. You get a real sense of a guy when you meet with them in person, and you could tell this he was as honest as they come.Walla Walla, you are lucky to have this business in your town.

I met Tim and his family while travelling in Iceland. I was having problems with a rented RV and Tim spent a long time trying to diagnose our problem to get us back on the road again. Thanks for stopping Tim. We really appreciated your help. Enjoy the rest of your holidays.

I do not live in Walla Walla and my daughter is new to that area so when her car broke down (starter motor failed), she was not sure where to take it to be diagnosed and repaired. I left a message with Champs and Tim texted me back within 20 minutes. He was able to take the car and replace the starter motor the same day for a fair price. He was professional, transparent, and honest. He has earned my daughters future business. I highly recommend Champs.Service: Auto maintenance

Tim was very friendly and was able to get my partner and I in for a pre-purchase inspection fairly last minute. He got the vehicle in and out in short order with a list of key issues to bring back to the buyer.If we lived in the area (we live in PDX) we would be more than happy to come back to Tim and have him work on our car!

Champs goes above and beyond when delivering service to its customers. My car had died, leaving my child and I without a vehicle. All the shops were booked out for weeks-including champs. Tim immediately returned my call and made room in his day to get my car in, diagnose the problem, & get my accelerator replaced in 2 hours! He even went out of his way to give me a ride when I needed to get across town. I can now say that I trust this autoshop with my car any day.

Tim has serviced my 1990s-era Volvo for the last four years and has consistently done top-notch work. He has changed out a timing belt, repaired the transmission, and even agreed to swap out the heater core, which was a mammoth job (he had to pull apart the entire front console of the interior then reassemble it - wow!). Tim is honest and reliable, and the only mechanic I will ever take my car to. He does very reasonably-priced work and also communicates well to make sure I'm informed about different repair options and their costs. Tim and his work are excellent, and you will never have to worry about being gouged or condescended to. Champs is the best!

Our daughter goes to school in Walla Walla and Tim has worked on her BMW for the past year. This fall, the day after we drove the car from Minnesota to Walla Walla the car died. We had it checked by one company near where it died then asked Tim what he thought. We had it towed to Champs and Tim looked at it for free. To fix it would cost more than the value of the car. He let us store it there until we decided what to do with it. He also advised us how to sell it and what price to ask for. Not only that, he took care of the transaction with the person who bought the car. Tim didn't charge us a dime. That kind of customer service is hard to come by. I'd take my car there anytime and you should too. When we get a new car, we will take it to Tim at Champs.

My experience has been one of the best I've had when it comes to having a reliable and honest mechanic. He has truly did and said everything he has quoted me. He has went out of his way to even secure parts that was needed. The professionalism, honesty and knowledge is always the first thing I look for in anything. When it came to my vehicle he had it all. Ever been on a long trip when your truck starts making a loud noise and your wife starts asking if it's safe to be driving, and you're wondering a little yourself? It's 5 hours from home and midday on Friday and you have that sinking feeling you're going to be stuck stuck stuck.Enter Tim at Champs to save the day. He made room in his busy schedule, found the part, and had my truck fixed and on the road by evening. Way way way above the call of duty, and he did it all with a smile. Tim has worked on our Toyota twice and our experience both times was excellent. He provided an assessment of the required work the same day and was able to complete the work in a timely fashion. He worked to get previously replaced parts on warranty for us even though we did not have paper receipts. He is knowledgable, professional and honest.

Had my car done here about a month and a half ago and they did a wonderful job. Since the shop opened up right when i had to start work at 8am, the owners allowed me to bring my vehicle in early. The owners wife even drove me to my place of employment and even picked me right up after work. My vehicle was finished couple hours before my shift ended so they notified me and always kept in touch with me throughout the day on the progress of my car. I would recommend Champs Garage to anyone needing their vehicles repaired. Thank you so much Champs for your wonderful job on fixing my vehicle!

Fantastic service! I called Tim about 150 miles outside of Walla Walla to say I was having engine trouble and could barely make it into town. I asked when he might be able to look my car and he said, "Can you bring it in this afternoon?" I was ecstatic! Fortunately the problem was only a bad tank of gas. Tim did such a thorough check and, at my request, topped off fluids, checked brake pads, etc., making a 60,000 mile check-up unnecessary and saving me a Bundle! I could not recommend Champs Garage more highly.

I had a serpentine belt go bad while on my trip and Champs Garage got me in and replaced it that same afternoon. Very nice man and a great mechanic. I highly reccommended him.
