I had a great experience with these guys. I got new tires at another shop and was told I desperately needed new lower control arms, and then an alignment. Took it to 3 places and these guys bid was very competitive. Called them a day ahead and scheduled it to go it, they had it done that day, Big improvement in the handling and great service and communication from these guys.

I've been going to this shop since 2003. They *did* good work, Fair and honest. No longer!! Had them repair the transmission. They had it for 3 weeks. Paid $4k for the work. Drove the car and realized something was wrong. Took it back, and they said the mounts were bad. Took it a dedicated transmission shop after the check engine light flashed. They said there was a problem with the transmission. So, we took it back to wrench n time. They had it for another 2 weeks! Wife went to pick it up and they wanted to charge her $800! Something that they put under warranty. Stay away!

They are absolutely amazing. They treat you with respect, and are willing to discuss the options for car repairs with you and explain the details. They are helpful whether you are getting big or small repairs and even if you opt out (happened recently when my car catastrophically failed). Their prices are really fair and they know their stuff. I have referred them to people that come up from Oregon and remain steady customers they are so good.

I've used backyard mechanics on my "beaters of the month" for many years, but having had my car repaired here twice now I won't go anywhere else. They were able to begin both jobs earlier than anticipated and completed the work the same day. They have stayed true to the agreed upon estimate, and I have been pleased with the results of both jobs. They are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and often go that "extra mile" (that's a private joke) to deliver old-fashioned, superior customer service, as well as competitive prices and spot-on diagnostics and repairs. They may seem a little rough around the edges, but don't be put off. These guys are diamonds in the rough.

Would give zero stars if possible. Took my car here for some electrical issues, was assured that they had all the right knowhow and equipment to fix it and was quoted $300. I agreed and it took over a week and a half for them to even look at it! Finally they finished and I got it back, then the next time I tried to turn it on, SAME ISSUE! I called them to get it towed back, they charged me for the tow and quoted another $450. They worked for another week, and finished. The car ran for two weeks and broke down AGAIN. Took it to Gaynor's Automotive, they were quick and much cheaper. Its been three months now and still running strong. Moral of the story: this shop is a rip off thats only in it for the quick money. Save yourself the money and headache and go to a reputable business.

Excellent Customer Service, Competitive Prices and a Knowledgeable staff! My wiper motor went out on my 94 Saturn. (Lasted long enough!) These guys spent THREE hours fixing it and only charged me for one hour! The part was $50 something, labor is on average most places $100 an hour so right there I'm looking at $150! They pretty much had it done in about an hour but spent an extra two hours calibrating/tweaking my wiper blades so they would be perfect. (This was a pre-existing condition and an annoyance). They Fixed it Good As New! So the extra "40 bucks more" Phhhttt - So worth it! These guys are excellent. They are worth every dime you give them. Honest, Friendly... They will have my business again. :-)

Slow. Over charging. Worst experience ever. I had to spend $1500 for an broken lower control arm. They will charge as much as the can if you don't know about cars. The second time I went there for an oil change, on the way back home I realized my car started making weird noise. So I went back. They checked my car and told me I have to replace a $400 sensor. I spent the money but they didn't fix the problem. Then I found out they put my cold air intake backwards when they were doing oil change, they also refused to give me my money back. The third time is the worest, I dropped my car in their shop for a clutch replacement, 2 weeks later they still didn't start working on it. I only got one car. So I decided to switch to another shop. Then owner of the shop became upset started yelling in my face. Another shop only spent one day to finish all the work. After all I will never go back to that place again in my life and I don't recommend anyone go down there.

Very nice guys here who don't seem to be out to screw you over. Seemed very knowledgeable and were definitely there to help you, not just take your money. Had them diagnose my vehicle, and as I thought it was a bad wheel bearing. Unfortunately the prices they were offered on parts were a bit too high in comparison to what I could just buy and bring in myself, so thats what I did. I grabbed my part and dropped it off to them and they promptly installed it and called me shortly after telling me my vehicle was good to go! Hopefully everything holds up well. Will definitely be doing with these guys' again! A major plus is they're open on SATURDAYs unlike most other dealer shops, which makes it convenient for the majority of us who have jobs.

First experience of this shop, mind you I've lived by their shop for over 5 years. Took my s10 there for a starter and flexplate. The starter mount was broken on the block from previous owner of vehicle and they assured me they could fix it. They couldn't weld the broken starter mount back on after charging me for a new starter, install, and flexplate install ($800 parts and labor). I had to tow my truck away. Ended up selling it for 1k as a roller. Its everyone's opinion i tell this story to that they should have recognized their inability to weld cast iron before attempting for 3 days and failing and ripping me off $800. I should have sued but don't want the hassle of small claims court. Never again and i'll definitely be telling everyone I know, never to go there.

On two separate occasions we took our car here. Once they "forgot" to mention that our hoses were old and needing replacement causing us to fork over cash to have it towed back to them. And the most recent occasion they were supposed to fix the slave cylinder and they didn't even tighten the bolts down! We will NEVER bring our car back to them, they are money suckers and can't seem to just get it right.

Yes, the guys at wrench-n-time are knowledgable.. . . But when a customer brings in a p.o.s., that is truly fubar from the start.... please don't expect miracles. Its difficult to create ice cream from horseshit.
