Tried to schedule a 50K service on the service part of your website. That is not an option. I selected the services I thought I wanted, then was asked if I was going to wait or take the shuttle. No time estimate for the work was provided, so how could I intelligently answer? Very frustrating!!Called the service dept and after a very short wait, DANIEL answered. Explained what I wanted, he pulled up my car's service history and answered all my questions and estimate. He was very helpful and patient and is a credit to your company!!!

I Do NOT recommend Toyota service... any more. I am very disappointed in the way that Toyota has let their service department become so untrustworthy and sub-standard. I used to always trust them to take care of me and my truck. Somehow, their two-year oil changes on a new vehicle only really lasts for 22 months. Also, my 90-year-old aunt just took her car in and was told she needed all new brakes. Luckily, she is a wise woman and took it for a second opinion elsewhere; she was told her brakes are fine. They have lost me as a customer.

My experience was horrible. The plug-in cable to recharge my car (that broke on day one) was not working. First off, I phoned to make an appointment for my ONE DAY OLD CAR, and they weren't going to be able to fit me in for at least a week. I expressed my dissatisfaction with having to wait a week for my (at that point) two day old car and a spot magically opened up to bring it in the NEXT DAY. The CAR I HAD OWNED FOR ONE DAY which was delivered to me BROKEN. So I took the car in and they told me that it would be THREE HOURS before I would get it back and there was nothing they could do about the fact that IT WAS A NOT WORKING CABLE, THEY NEEDED TO KEEP THE WHOLE CAR FOR A BROKEN CABLE!!! I watched my Toyota app. The mechanic opened the door, twice in about a 10 minute period. I suspect he took the old cable, found it was broken, got a new one from the parts department and placed it in the car. Then the car sat and sat and sat. I finally tried to find it to ask what was happening and Kerrie called down to service. She seemed to be encouraging the mechanic to finish. SO, the car moved to the area where I could see it parked. There it sat, untouched, for 45 minutes. I asked about it again and was told I needed to wait. The excuse was PAPER WORK. I had to wait while the PAPER WORK was being finished (do the paper work on your time, I want my 3 day old car back.)All told then, a 10 minute cable exchange caused me wait around for 2 hours (actually more than 2 hours but I have elided the minutes.) I am fully convinced they would have taken the entire 3 hours if I hadn't asked more than once about my car. This is really unacceptable. The Awesome I-5 Dealer Service Department once did a recall on my truck that required them to replace an entire lock assembly and I was in and out in under an hour. Some places have a "the customer is important" service philosophy and Vancouver Toyota does not.

Complete service for Toyota with new and used cars and pick up trucks and accessories well stocked. They have a selection of new and used RV vehicles and trailers as well in a separateSeparate area. Efficient and friendly service staff, ready to set you up for whatever you need. 4 and 3/4 starts.

The customer service aspect is great. They do recommend services that aren't actually needed, which isn't appreciated. Also, my glovebox was organized when i went in and it's a complete mess now... just crammed it all back in there.

If you thought that you would save yourself the hassle of doing a bunch of research and just spend the extra money to get your car detailed at the dealership because you could trust the quality of work, I would encourage you to think again. There are bigger problems in the world than having a car cleaned and I am not trying to be a Karen ranting on the internet, so I will keep my review as succinct as I can. It will echo the other reviews regarding lack of communication, organization, and quality control at this Toyota location. We had a catastrophic spill in our otherwise basically brand new car, so I decided to pay to have it professionally cleaned. I told the service representative the areas that I was concerned about, but this message was clearly never relayed. Below are the pictures I took of the car after paying $250 to have it professionally cleaned. Additionally there was still gunk on the gear shift, inside the storage shelf, and speckled throughout the middle console.I called the service department first thing the next morning to have this addressed and was assured that when I arrived for my appointment that they would make sure I talked to the right people about this problem. This communication never occurred. When I picked up the car the second time I was assured that the customer relations manager had inspected the car, but when I looked there was STILL residue that had not been shampooed and the car still smelled. I even had the service rep look and he acknowledged that it was not clean. I had to stay another hour to have them actually shampoo the area.Apparently at some point prior to the second cleaning I was supposed to have spoken to the customer relations manager, but no contact was made until after this third cleaning when I was at my boiling point.I understand that they are dealing with a huge volume of work, and to their credit everyone that I actually did speak to was courteous. However, even after discussing my frustrations in-depth with two representatives, including the customer relations manager, I was not offered any recompense outside of a quiet apology.I have the car back and it is better than it was, but it still smells and I am so tired of the hassle that I am going to just buy some enzyme spray and deal with it myself. Please save yourself the frustration and do your research and go pay to have your car detailed by someone who will do their best to make sure you are getting what you expect and are willing to pay for.*Update: A representative followed up with me regarding this experience and I was offered an oil change and compensation for the enzyme cleaner that I purchased.

Awful at communicating. Was promised a phone call from a manager twice. Waited 4 hours.Talked with multiple people, no results. Best to go across the river to Ron Tonkin Toyota. They treat you right!

Brought in my New GR86 for it's first service and as usual they never disappoint. The service itself went well. But there Mechanic's could really use a lesson in respect. I just washed my car before I dropped it off and when I go to pick it up there's greasy hand prints on my door, hood, lower front spoiler, inside on my windshield, Why? It only takes about a minute maybe two to wipe there greasy hand prints off. Guess it's back to Gladstone Toyota for any future services.

They have a great waiting area for service, complete with free coffee, easy chairs, recliner sofas, and a fireplace! That s good, because this dealership is very busy, and there is often at least a two hour wait for an oil change and inspection. Of course, they will ALWAYS find something else that your car needs. And if you take their advice, (which always seems sound,) then your price will triple or more, depending on what you brought your car in for in the first place. That said, their service staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The whole place is very well organized. It leaves me feeling conflicted about bringing my car in for a regular oil change, due to the add on services and the final price. . Of course, I can always refuse those extras, but not knowing much about cars, that does feel risky.

Dealing with the damage done by their service technician while attempting to replace water pump assembly had already cost me thousands of dollars. Later in his attempt to justify the replacement of another expensive part, 'timing chain tensioner', the same technician damaged some more, so that the car had to be towed in after being driven only 30 miles. While one of the nicer manager intervened to make the shop take responsibility for the subsequent damage, the original damage the technician had done, is clear as day light from close examination of the computer logs, I am at a loss as to how to have Vancouver Toyota take responsibility.

If you want to spend hours waiting on your car to not even have it fixed, then this is your place. I waited three and a half hours for my vehicle - when I went to pick it up they told they didn t have the necessary parts to fix my car. I waisted a day and still have a broken car. Screw Toyota is putting it nicely.

I don t recommend McCord s Service Department. We ve purchased only Toyota products since we bought our first, a 2008 Highlander. Most recently we purchased a new 2018 Highlander and have had all the Toyota recommended service performed at McCord s Vancouver Toyota (VT). We knew we might pay a premium for the service but wanted to believe that VT would match our loyalty by looking out for our best interest and providing honest, quality service. However, that belief was slowly crushed with each service as it became clear that making money was more valuable than honesty and integrity. Here are three examples of my experiences:First, even though the engine was always running fine, VT repeatedly told me that I should have my injectors cleaned. Toyota only recommends this service when the engine is running erratically. VT s response: We just think it s good practice to clean them. Cha-ching!Second, the full-service oil change includes, among other inspections, an engine air filter inspection. Obviously, this requires the air filter to be removed and reinstalled in the housing. If a new air filter is needed, VT charges $48.95 to replace the filter. That is $26 more than they charge for the filter at their parts counter. Why is that? The labor for the filter removal and replacement is already included in the full-service fee! VT s reply: We think we charge a competitive rate. Cha-ching!Third, and the most egregious, is that at my last three oil changes VT claimed I needed a wheel alignment even though I had driven less than 3500 miles between the services (We drive very few miles, but have it serviced on a calendar basis). I purchased an alignment the first two times, (my bad!) but the third time I protested to the service coordinator, but he could care less. The Service Customer Relations Manager only offered to test it again. No way! I subsequently took it to a local shop that specializies in alignments. The shop has been in business for 30 years under the original owner. He checked the alignment, inspected the tires for uneven wear, and test drove it. No alignment needed. He also expressed that he had a lot of similar results with other customers of VT. Cha-ching!Trust, loyalty, and reputation should be vigorously guarded by any reputable business and should never be taken for granted. Once lost they are very difficult to regain. I won t be going back to McCords.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Oil change

my car was in excellent condition, the computer check showed that there were no problems, 6 hours after the check my car showed a problem (check the hybrid system) very strange that it happened that day after visiting the service. the next day, the service informed me that I needed to change the battery for $ 4600. I do not believe that this is a coincidence

Service was fast and I was able to get an appointment scheduled in no time. Only complaint is how pushy the consultants are for getting more services than you really need. Outside of that, they really seemed to do their best to communicate with my insurance and myself in order to get my car back to me as soon as possible.

Charged me $175 for looking at my sunroof, I asked if they could quote fixing it and they only quoted replacing $3500, I then asked if they could close it back up as I wanted a second opinion. I felt I received pressure to have unnecessary work done and when I picked up my vehicle the sunroof was not closed properly. Yesterday I took my vehicle to Rose City Sunroof, in 15 minutes he was able to evaluate the sunroof, show me what was wrong, close it completely and order the part needed to fix, total cost of $800. Toyota is scamming people and not providing good customer service. They claim to operate with honesty and integrity, but it s all about the bottom line. I rarely write reviews, but I m pretty fired up about how I was treated.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Every single time I have made an appointment for an oil change, I wait over an hour and a half for it to happen. If you are not able to consistently start the work when the client arrives, why make appointments for that time frame. An appointment is you appointing that time to me, not an appointment to wait for you to have time. This time I had inquired as to when would would be the least busy time to make my appointment . So far this is my longest wait yet.Service: Oil change

60,000 mile maintenance/multi-point inspection on my 2017 Camry. On the paperwork, they marked the box "Checked and OK at this time" for the headlights when, in fact, the passenger side headlight did not work. Just makes me wonder if there were other 'checks' they performed that actually didn't happen. Won't take my car to them again.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle InspectionServices: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

Scheduled OIL Change online.Dropped the car off and reviewed the instructions for an OIL CHANGE with advisor Andy Betea. When I picked up car I found that service tech just did the 5 k multi point inspection for $58.00.Told me I didn't need an oil change AFTER I was ready to pick up the car.Unhappy with the fact that I was not informed of the change in service recommendation BEFORE I left the inboarding car drop-off. VERY VERY POOR COMMUNICATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is not the 1st issue with Toyota service.Like the Venza, service department not so much.Lots of room for improvement and training in service!!!!!!!!!!!!Maybe time to consider another car brand with a better service department---------like Subaru!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Dropped off at my appointment time for an airbag recall service. Sent a text to ask for a service update 3 hours after drop off and no answer. Sent a second message accompanied by a voicemail another 30 minutes later. Finally received a call back that my car was ready. Pickup was pretty disorganized as well. Don t quite know when my car had been done being serviced but it took 4 hours to be back and out with my car. Their service system seems a little inefficient.

They obviously get ALOT of business because piles of cars are always lining up there, meaning there is typically a bit of a wait time, even with an appointment. But their customer service and work are really great. They do the best they can to get everyone out quickly and to help out if it's going to be a while. They also make sure to keep you updated on what they're doing with your car.An added bonus is the shuttle service if you need to leave, plus the free coffee and comfy sitting area if you decide to wait.I'd say for a really busy service center, they do a really good job.

Scheduled maintenance done in about 80 minutes, which is what they quoted. Efficient scheduling system, nice customer lounge with decent amenities, and friendly employees. Only bummer was they kind of lost my car in the lot as I was being checked out and they were closing up shop for the evening. Stood around for a while until one of the kids noticed me and asked if I needed help. "Yes, I need my car back" I said. Took about 10 minutes but they found it and I drove off the lot.

Had a 2:15pm appointment to get an oil change and get 4 tires mounted. They wanted $108 for an oil change so I told them to just do the tires because that's rediculous for oil. They finally started the tires at 4:10pm and didn't finish until 5:55. I brought in the tires and I brought in the rims. All they had to do was mount the tires on the rims and put them on my car. Almost 4 hours is absurd.Service: Tires

Save your money and time, go somewhere else.I have been a repeat customer since 2015. The quality of service has gone from good to sub-standard in that time. Services are over priced and over sold; communication is poor; and the operation feels extremely hectic/poorly organized.Recommend avoiding this place and taking your vehicle services elsewhere if at all possible.

Please guys don t go to this place Vancouver Toyota services, they sold us and installed the wrong tires and we notice it came back there and they won t change them, they want us to buy new tires again even though they are at fault. And if you are looking to buy tires better buy it at American tires 1/2 the cost of there tires as well. So we ended up going to American tires paying $550 for a new set but the Toyota service offered $1,100 lol

Wont be buying from them again, go down the road to honda.*edit*They reached out and offered to help us resolve our issue by scheduling a free detail. We arrived to our scheduled appointment and began to wait but about 2-3 hours in we asked about the progress. They apologized for the delay and gave us a rental car for the day. When they finished we picked our car up and got a giftcard for the delay. While we wish the original issue never happened we are happy they attempted to make up for it. While we no longer feel they are the best car dealership in the area we will shop here again in the future if the deals are good.

They recommended I change my cabin air filter as it was "old and dirty", which is odd because I replaced that myself two weeks ago... I expect better from a dealership, thats a Jiffy Lube tactic. The service manager was apologetic after I confronted them, but I still will not return
