Tabor's is AWESOME! I brought them a component they don't normally deal with which had a bolt snapped off in it. Nothing I'd tried could extract it, and I was dead in the water if that bolt stayed put. Tabor's removed the bolt without damaging the threads arou nd it and only charged me $25!!!Tabor's is AWESOME!!!

Was one of the only machine shops that could remove my ring gear and press it onto new flywheel. Turn around time was about 3 days, would ve been shorter if i didn t drop my stuff off over a weekend I m sure. Overall very satisfied with the work done as they did a great job. Only reason for four stars instead of five is I felt like the worker was somewhat judging me and thought what I was doing was stupid. Maybe he thought I was just some dumb kid who didn t know what I was doing. He was very short with me. Friendly customer service goes a long way. But I would recommend getting work done through them. Fast. Affordable. Good work.

I brought a VG30DE from a Nissan 300ZX to them just to have it checked over and cleaned. I was told it would be "a couple of weeks" and that they would call me "maybe by the end of the week, but definitely by the beginning of next week". After I didn't hear from them I called to find out what was up and they hadn't even touched it yet. It took them 3 weeks just to clean SOME of it and check the block. Another week went by before they finished cleaning and honed the cylinders. When I went to pick it up I find out that they didn't check the heads AT ALL even though there was a problem with the valves and I specifically asked them to tell me what was up with them so I could decide how to handle it. So after a month with my engine, the job still wasn't done. I was tired of waiting for these guys. I'll take my business elsewhere I think you should too. They seem to only care about old muscle car guys with deep pockets.

Tabor machined and assembled a Nissan Sr20det. They might be better at American v8 s but I would not let them touch anything else. There is a $2400 receipt for very poor work. The headstuds installed were bottomed out into the block with now ruined threads. The engine had bad oil pressure because they left out key baffling. I don t run a business, but oil pressure is pretty darn important for your engine. Now the rod bearings are very badly scored, almost spun, there is mismatched hardware, ruined threads, missing bolts, etc. however, the machine work itself was not bad.Services: Engine repair, Motor building

Friendly service on and off the phone, completed my flywheel within a day and charged me less than I was quoted. Respectable and good quality work, I will definitely be back some day.

Couldn't be happier with the customer service and the results took a bit longer time then quoted but kept me informed the whole way came in dead on for the price quoted would recommend 100 percent
