Awhile back I began to hear a new noise going on in the front end of my Nissan Murano that I suspected might be a wheel bearing. I did some searching online for a reputable mechanic in the Vancouver area. As my wife and I are retired and on a fixed income, I was looking for both a reasonable price and good workmanship. I got a good feeling about Primo Auto Care looking at their website and reading the reviews. As I live out of town and this is our only car I needed the work done in one day.I gave them a call and the owner (Manuel? my memory may have this wrong) answered my questions in a friendly and professional manner with an estimate that was very reasonable and I made an appointment to come in at 9:00 in the morning that same week.They asked me to come back at 10 o'clock and they would have a diagnosis and solid estimate. When I returned Manuel had the car up on the lift and showed me that it was indeed a bearing. He also looked at the brakes as I had asked - said they were not yet in any need, but showed my an oil leak that I should have done soon with an estimate for fixing it. I decided on having both wheel bearings replaced and he agreed, asking me to come back at 5 o'clock. On our return we found the work was finished. He had given us a complimentary oil change.The total cost came in slightly under the estimate and I have had no problems with the wheels since. ( I will be making an appointment soon for fixing the oil leak)I was very impressed with the genuine care and quality that this shop brings to it's customers and I am truly happy to have found such an excellent and honest mechanic.I highly recommend them to anyone needing work on their automobiles!!!Service: Steering & suspension repair

All they do is code read. I could go to any part STORE for that. This place is a SCAM!!!! CHARED ME 550 FOR SOMETHING MY TRUCK DIDN'T NEED. SHAME ON YOU, AND SHAME ON ME FOR TRUSTING YOU TYPICAL SKUM!!!!!!

I recently was in Vancouver from Seattle and had part of my coolant system break and was stranded on the freeway. As my car motor cooled down I looked at mechanic shops with great ratings and found Primo Auto Care. Fortunately for me they are open on Saturday. I called them and they told me they would take a look if I could come over to their shop. I put all the water in my car into the radiator and drove to their shop. From the moment I walked through their doors, it was evident that this establishment takes customer service and automotive expertise to a whole new level.First and foremost, the staff at Primo Auto Care deserves immense praise for their professionalism, knowledge, and genuine concern for my vehicle's well-being. The moment I explained the issues they started to inspect my vehicle to understand the situation. Their expertise and attention to detail immediately put me at ease, knowing that my vehicle was in capable hands. A T connector had broken and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately for me this was a special-order part that was unavailable in the Portland area, The Primo team called over 15 parts suppliers including 3 dealerships. The earliest the part would be in would be the following Wednesday. They gave me the option to use a nonstandard part that would get me back to Seattle but I would need to get the manufacturers part when I got home.The team at Primo Auto Care not only fixed the problems with my car but went above and beyond in thoroughly inspecting it to identify any potential issues. They resolved the issue and I greatly appreciated their transparency and the fact that there were no hidden surprises when it came to the final bill.The quality of work done at Primo Auto Care is outstanding. When I returned to Seattle I took my car the dealership to have the factory part installed. The mechanic and the Mercedes Benz dealership commented on the great quality of work done in the temporary fix.Another aspect that deserves mention is the cleanliness of their shop. The waiting area was comfortable, tidy, and well-maintained. It was evident that Primo Auto Care takes great pride in maintaining a clean and professional workspace, which only further reassured me of their commitment to excellence.Lastly, the pricing at Primo Auto Care was fair and competitive, especially considering the top-notch service they provided. They value their customers by offering honest and reasonable rates without compromising on the quality of their workmanship.My experience with Primo Auto Care was truly exceptional. From their knowledgeable and skilled technicians to their outstanding customer service, they have set the bar incredibly high for auto repair shops.Way to go Primo Auto Care!The guy from Seattle the broken Mercedes.

I recently had my 2008 Prius serviced here and am so very happy with the service I received! Last Thursday I called asking for a quote to get my rear brakes done, the man I spoke with was very kind and patient with answering my questions not once did I feel rushed off the phone or like I was asking too much. I knew my rear brakes were bad and I could hear them grinding. He assured me that they would be able to fix it, and he quoted it a reasonable price. I usually go to the Toyota dealership to get my car serviced, but they quoted me almost triple the price to get the rear brakes + drum rotors.Not only did I get great customer service over the phone, but I actually stopped in the very next day just to see if I could make the appointment. The guy I spoke with told me they could do it right then and it would only take a few hours :) I came back 3 hours later, and the job was complete, and my car was ready to go. They even went above and beyond and checked my front brakes and let me know they were still in good shape. The service actually ended up being a bit lower than what I was quoted over the phone, only maybe 50-60 dollars, but he let me know and adjusted the final price!My car and my breaks feel SO much better, I could immediately tell the difference and I wish I wouldn't have waited so long, but I'm happy I found Primo's Auto Care! Manuel was so helpful, he talked to my over the phone about my car and it was leaking clear liquid and so I stopped by and he looked at it for me and told me everything was fine and suggested how to minimize the leaking. They re awesome!!

Primo was so helpful. We started hearing a new sound in our Subaru and he took the time to drive with me to verify that there was no need to be concerned. Definitely coming back here next time I need automotive help!

This place is legit! Manual is a super friendly and honest guy. Unfortunately for myself I ve needed several repairs/general maintenance on both of my vehicles over the past couple years. I wouldn t take them anywhere else! Manual is as honest as the day is long. How many mechanics would say they over quoted you and give you money back?!! This dude has. The quality of the repairs are top notch. I ve had ZERO issues with any of them. I would give manual and Primos 10 stars if I could! No BS

The team over at primo auto care are an amazing group, very professional and meticulous when it comes to working on your vehicle. They do it all, had an engine replacement on one car that was very fair and honest pricing and they replaced the time chain on my other vehicle. Team is awesome

Truly amazing service. I went here for a 2nd opinion and they went above and beyond, also taking video of my car while they worked on it. Then they could explain to me and show exactly what was going on with my car at the same time. This will definitely be my go to shop from now on!

Literally the most honest and best auto shop in Vancouver and always trying to help out if possible. Always honest good prices everyone there works with love and care for cars. It s hands down the best rates and work in Vancouver highly recommended

I heard about them from a friend and thank the lord I did !Not only where they willing to keep my car overnight they fixed the problem within 24 hours , my car is driving so beautifully now ! I m so satisfied with their service and will be coming back to them for any other repairs !
