The gentlemen at Peters Foreign Repair Shop go above and beyond in their service. Delivering timely communication, and offering the care that my 2017 Audi A3 needed. I will be returning to this shop in the future if I ever need to take care of my future car needs. Shout out to Ted and Paul for being the kindest people to work with and the entire staff as well for their excellent services.

This is your old school honest auto shop, but for the uber-engineered European brands. I love taking our Audi and BMW here because I feel like the guys here love the cars like we do. They are super-friendly, approachable, and care whether the customer has a good experience. They won't oversell you either. They aren't necessarily the cheapest, but they do good work the first time and they stand behind it. Don't expect a big lounge area with "concierge" services. There's no place to hang-out and wait, but that doesn't mean they don't care. They'll offer you coffee from their own pot while you wait for your ride, Uber, or Lyft. Paul calls you in very timely manner, goes over your work, answers all your questions, and will always get back to you. He always picks up the phone and accommodates you in whatever way he can. I always leave with a smile on my face, even when I've dropped some serious cash. I know I got my money's worth, and that's saying a lot these days.

Disappointed. Got an oil change when didn't need it because winshield sticker wasn't changed. So thought due based on time passed. My bad for not realizing, but be nice if they changed sticker or told me just had it done. . .Nothing computerized, pen and paper and files, so I guess info not at their fingertips. . .. Also fixed coolant leak, but noticed leak again within couple months. Their argument: probably another leak not same one. . Seems odd to me. .Now have an Cam ladder oil leak. Likely caused by coolant leak on it, which wasn't resolved. Wouldn't be so frustrating if service staff seemed more empathetic, not arrogant or accusatory.

As a long time owner of new, used, and sometimes "seasoned" European vehicles, I can say that every experience I've had with Peter's Imports has been positive. Every one of the staff is helpful, informative and honest. I have a good amount of mechanical experience on European cars and do my own maintenance. An added bonus is that Peter's adjoining parts store (Bartosh) is timely and always more affordable than the dealerships. Peter's technicians are well trained and very focused on thorough diagnostics, with great communication and no upsell. They aren't simply parts changers, and my repairs have all only been done once. If I'm ever in the weeds on a repair that I'm doing, or simply don't have the time, then I will always trust Peter's with my families cars. They're often busy, but it's worth the wait. The Vancouver/ Portland area are fortunate for such a shop. Thanks to Paul, Ted, Chris in parts and all the staff at Peter's.

2004 bmw x3, 220,000+ miles still runs strong!I have been bringing this car to Paul, Ted and Chris for about 4 years now and they have never steered me wrong. They are always open to your suggestions and will help to keep your car and wallet lol in good shape (its a BMW). Last week, I had an emergency repair done with my transfer case. To my surprise Ted and Paul took my car that same day and had it repaired and ready the next day! The work they do is always clean and precise and in my eyes very professional. I know, cause I do my own tune ups and I see the work that has been done. Hands down best shop to bring your car to. Also, Chris at Bartosh is the best parts guy! always up for a good laugh and ready to hash out your DIY experiences. The shop also is always stocked with Liqui-moly oil.Best Car shop, Parts shop (Bartosh) thank you for professional, Honest work!

I took my 2013 Audi A6 into Peters' after I first bought it almost one year ago for a check up and oil change. I had a problem in June with overheating and they repaired it. The engine overheated again one week ago. We had it towed back to Peters'. I was expecting to owe for the service and parts and was so relieved when Ted informed me that the part was faulty and under warranty. No charge. I have been very happy with the service at Peters' and highly recommend them. Thank you,Ted and Paul.Grateful,CynthiaServices: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

Does this shop do excellent repair work- sure; I had ball joints replaced and now car (Mercedes) handles as expected. However, they are expensive (3 front ball joints/control arms-$1500); my car was in the shop for nearly 2 weeks, and that seemed normal, for THEM; they are always backed up, parts back ordered; wrong part sent- i.e. lot of excuses why the CUSTOMER NEEDS TO BE PATIENT WHILE WITHOUT THEIR CAR? TRUE REASON-to ensure their work flow is constant; they do NOT put customer service ahead of their own "needs" to maximize profit. Also told me all 4 brakes/rotors/etc. had to be replaced "VERY soon" (for around $1500!); another shop said no need, 7-8 mm brake pad remaining all round and rotors good. SO- you be the judge. There is an awesome locally owned small auto repair chain- same day service or next day typically at most and back same day as it came in- with several Vancouver locations you can trust -starts with a "G". They have MY car repair needs business forever-more.

This is a great shop for euro vehicles. I had my Audi TTs in for an oil change , transmission service , and haldex service. The pricing was very reasonable and the staff was nice.

My husband brought his Audi in there a couple of days ago. Paul was very friendly and super informative. He was surprised by how fast they were able to fix his issues and their quality of work was top notch. They don't try to up-sell you on things you don't need. Very honest and their prices are fair. He will continue to use them and hope others consider doing the same.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Fantastic experience. Paul was helpful and got me in quicker than expected. He said my Volvo s60 can get taken care of in the next day or so and it was ready when he said it would be. Very very happy with these guys and will be coming back and recommending them to others.

10/10 would recommend!! Took my car in for a second opinion diagnostic. They found that the issue I was having was caused by a tool that was left by another shop. Paul spoke to the other shop for me, and has continued being extremely helpful with any questions I have. I m so thankful for Peters Import Car Service!Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

My family have been going to Peters Imports for decades. A couple shop managers and technicians have been there the 20 some odd years we ve been taking our cars to them. Paul and Ted are the absolute best and always take care of me and my family and anyone I refer their way. Chris in the parts shop, has always gone the extra mile to find the part I need. Always get shout outs and waves from them when we walk our dogs. Love being their neighbor and feel lucky to have a buisness/friends you can trust. Always have the best warranties that they 100% stand by.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Transmission repair, Battery, Oil change

Had a head gasket and valve work done on my Honda Element. Had just bought it and it wasn't running. They got it running and it's really going well. Exactly as quoted. I've had other work done there in a more classic car and it was also running like a champ when they finished. Handy too that they have a parts service co-located next door. Solid mechanics.

These guys are professional, highly competent, and honest. I own a 2008 Subaru Forester and have little knowledge of how to keep my vehicle in good working order. I just know that if I'm hearing a sound while driving, something isn't right. I have taken my Forester in several times to this shop and every time they have fixed the issue the first time. The most recent problem my vehicle had confirmed my decision to continue coming here. Paul told me that they might need to do an extra repair due to some rusting of a part in the wheel which was going to cost an additional $500 or so. I told them to do it (knowing it would cost double the original price quoted), but before picking up my car he called me back and said they didn't need to do it, the mechanics had been able to repair the issue without this. I really appreciate this honesty and will continue coming here whenever I need something addressed.

Peter's Import / Bartosh is my absolute favorite shop in town. Peter's is the shop and Bartosh is the parts shop. All inclusive. Ted, the owner has got to be the most straight up auto shop owner/operator I've come across in a long time. Not only is he friendly and cordial, but he knows that good customer service will ensure repeat business. His prices are fair and his staff is extremely talented. They do an amazing job and will back up their work. I recently had my GTI in have the fuel injectors replaced and my valves walnut blasted. My car has never driven so good or been so responsive. They completed my car in the timeliest of manners for a fair and honest price and I am a customer for life.As for Bartosh, the parts shop. Chris is the best parts manager! He is quite knowledgeable and has never let me down. I have 7 VW's in our family, and I have been getting all of our parts from Chris for years. He started out as my parts guy, and is now what I consider to be a great friend. I love to go in and pick up my parts and chat with the guys in the shop.If you are in need of a good repair shop, or even just parts for your own DIY, Peter's Import/Bartosh is the place to go. 5 star service for sure. You will not be disappointed!!

I've owned 5 VW's. Proper maintenance is a must. The dealership charges a hefty price. So I get the job done properly and save some money by having these guys do the exact same job the dealership would do. Never once have I had a issue. And if you need parts you talk with Chris from Bartosh (in-building). Ted and Peter are well trained and Great People.

These guys really know their stuff! I spoke with Paul for a short period of time describing my car troubles and within 10 minutes he knew exactly how to fix it. He explained everything in a way that I could understand and was pleasant to work with! It was inexpensive, extremely helpful, and now my car runs better than it ever has!
