Had my 2001 Pathfinder in to check the steering rack and see if it needed replaced. Unfortunately it did, but they also did a full inspection on the vehicle and pointed out some other items that needed attention. Overall, they did exactly what was expected and gave some good insight on the problems it had.

I took my truck in after I replaced the cp4 fuel pump and couldn t get my truck to prime. I got a call two hours later that they had my truck running and there were some leaks. They said my bill was over $500 for the work done and if I wanted the leaks fixed then they would have to work on it more. They wanted to know my max budget which I told them was $1000. They had the truck done shortly later and my bill was $950. I didn t complain and was glad to have my truck back but my truck was still leaking diesel. I m not sure what they did but I feel ripped off for the initial 2 hour job for $500 then the other $500 to fix the leaks that were not fixed. Oh yeah, they also tried to keep my tools that were left in the valley until I asked about them

It started with my 7:30am appointment to drop it off. I received an email at 7:34 that read vehicle update, that they were starting to work on my vehicle. Except my car was still in the parking spot that I had left it in, as I was still in the parking area as my ride was still looking up directions. I guess don't take them literally that they have started to work on your vehicle. It must be a metaphor for the bill. It made me hesitate though, I reminded myself that they were rated 5 stars with at least 88 reviews, and I made it very clear that I wanted to find out what was draining my battery. That was my main and only concern. Though Kyle offered a complementary inspection with the diagnosis. After the the first text , and email update that said more would come I received nothing for the rest of the day. Thinking an electrical diagnosis shouldn't take that long I called at 3:51pm for an update on my diagnosis. I was given a bull story that they would need to keep my car overnight because they would need time for the module to power down. What module you say? Well I don't know exactly something the mechanics said it would have to sit over night. A quick Google search stated that a car should take 5 to 70 minutes at most to power down. Any more than that and that's your dead battery problem. But what do I know? I am not a mechanic. They did offer a complimentary loner car. Except he did not mention this until I called. The next day I received an email and text update in the morning. Stating that my car needs a new battery because it's dead. And that there is no oil showing on the dipstick because it is probably leaking from the oil pan. Funny thing is that I checked my oil the day I brought my car in and it was fine. Also I park in a paved driveway there are no oil stains. Do you think that their mechanics know that on this version of Lincoln LS it only measures oil on one side of the dipstick? When I brought up that the oil was not reading on the dipstick at the counter and told them how it works I was told Yeah I think we know that let me go confer with the Technician. He left the door open so I was able to see and some what hear him tell a guy to check it again and look at both sides. Then he came back into the room and told me, oh there was a miscommunication, they did not say the car was reading no oil but that it was low on oil. So in the end I paid 331.36 to find out my 2005 Lincoln LS is old and has a dead battery. 276.84 of the bill for labor. 27.41 for supplies. Yet not closer to finding out what is killing my battery. Even the last thing I was told that they ran what test they could with the battery the way it was. So what does that mean? I am Dissatisfied. Though I will say they were friendly.I was contacted by Matt shortly after my first post. He apologized for their poor service and for not living up to the quality experience they strive for. He explained that I should have been informed that my battery was not holding a charge so that I could get a new one before the tests or that they should have used a stock battery while running the diagnosis as it is hard to figure out what is draining a dead battery. He refunded my money and said that after I got a new battery if I still had problems to feel free stop on by for a full diagnosis.I respect and appreciate that they care about what their customers think and feel about their service.

They were awesome. I called several shops in the area and was not able to get an appointment for at least a week to three weeks out. Julie was super friendly and helpful and was able to fit us in the following day. Came in for a four wheel alignment. This was the second shop this week we took our pickup to. We have a crew cab with an extra long bed. The other shop we went to had a rack that was slightly to short for our pickup. Julie made sure they were able to accommodate us before we brought our pickup in. We will be back for other services in the future. Price was great. They also did an overall inspection including a printout with some other miner issues that needed to be looked into. Things that my husband could take care of or if need be, I could have them take care of at a later date. The customer service I received was excellent. Thank you for doing a great job on our pickup and giving us amazing service.Service: Wheel alignment

Pegoraro saved us! My car broke down on the I-5 at night while we were driving back to California. We had to pick a mechanic in Vancouver to get towed to while we were in the tow truck and we re so glad we chose Pegoraro. Julie was extremely helpful, and gave us a courtesy car to get to the mall as our car was being diagnosed. Unfortunately, the transmission went out in my car and replacing it would ve cost more than the value of my car. Julie explained everything and gave us our options and kept us calm while we were panicking. This was my first and only car that me and my girlfriend shared. The entire team was kind and helpful and not at all condescending as many car places can be to young people who don t know anything about cars. Julie even went as far as asking the mechanics if they knew anyone who would want to buy our car as a project car so that we would get a little more money for it than if it went to salvage. We ended up selling our car to Pick N Pull and Julie walked us through the whole process, even making all the calls for us. We had to get my parents to send us the title via overnight mail and they allowed us to send it to the shop since we were stranded in a hotel and didn t have an address. Pegoraro Auto Repair went above and beyond and I cannot recommend them enough!

Wish I could give 10 stars! My SUV was leaking oil and dealership quoted me $15K to fix. I called here hoping for 2nd opinion. Joe squeezed me in right away and gave me $300 quote to fix my car! He could have easily price gouged me given the situation, but instead I was given honest, friendly, thorough, and quick mechanical work!! I will definitely be back for every car maintenance need from here on out!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Great experience and outstanding customer service. We bought our RV last April. It had a terrible vibration nearing 75 mph. Previously we had taken it to two other repair shops and the problem wasn't diagnosed. Brought it to Pegoraro Auto Repair and they diagnosed it immediately. Such a good feeling to have it taken care of. Julie and the entire Pegoraro team are amazing. I highly recommend them. I will definitely be back when needed. A big thank you to you all!

I went to Pegoraro because of their great reviews and my experience mirrors that. My 1999 Dodge Ram Cargovan was losing oil on a cross country trip. Through a user's forum, I had an idea of what the problem may be. Joe, quickly confirmed the diagnosis, a bad plenum gasket, came up with a repair plan and procedure to see if there had been any valve damage from the engine aspirating oil. Thankfully there was not. The repair was done quickly and the problem is solved. I am now halfway across the country on my return home with no problems. Facility was clean, comfortable waiting area. Service was great especially the attentive care and prompt communication with Julie.

We've been using this shop for a few years now and they have been nothing but fantastic. Their repairs come with a 2 to 3 year warranty (depending on what is being done) and their customer service and response time is really great.Any repair work they have done for us has always held up and our vehicles all run well. When I had to fight with my insurance company over a claim, they did everything in their power to help even though it took a lot of their time - and they never billed me for it or made me feel bad.I highly recommend them. Ken and Kyle especially have gone above and beyond for us.

Fantastic shop!! We are a full time rv life couple (class B camper van), We are not close to what is home base so eternally greatfuk for Pegoraro. We worked with Julie, wonderful woman, who was able to fit us in the next day! The work to be done was important but I don't feel as though I was over charged for their work. Car repair costs are just never fun haha. Julie knowing we where holed up in a hotel room offered us a loaner car to go do things but beyond that her and the team were able to get the rv work done two days sooner than expected!!! Thats a big deal when the cheapest lodging in the area is 100$. They really worked with us to find areas to save money and get us back on the road. Rig is running beautifully now!! Thank you all so much!

Took my Subaru WRX 08, RED, in last week to figure out why my oil was burning so quick. When I went to pick it up,they told me :I had hole in my radiator. My heads needed to be rebuilt. An oil leaking from the heads.A new timing belt.Leaking radiator fluid on the right side on bottom.Total cost to repair it was $4000.Obviously,I'm not going to put $4000 into a car,so my only option was to trade it in. I decided to get a second opinion at another mechanic in Portland. He found NONE of those issues wrong with my car. What's actually wrong with my car:-Header tank HOSE going to radiator is leaking by clamp. Dripping down to the bottom of the radiator making it look like there are two leaks.-Turbo drain leaking-Power steering pump is covered in oil dirt-Suspect firewall fix is needed-Pedal box flex-Steering rack boot seeping-Both valve covers are leakingTotal cost for repairs there,$2500.For one,if I truly had a hole at the bottom of my radiator, all the liquid would had drained out,and my engine would have been so over heated, I wouldn't have made it down the street without having my engine blow up.I have a hole at the top of hose, not bottom of radiator. They were trying to get me to buy a whole new radiator because of this "hole."I have seen the reviews and was so happy to take it here. I trusted them to be honest. Was not the case.I only paid for the diagnostic, but they need to understand they can't do this to people. It's not right.I have photos of the invoices from both places,to show the difference and that I'm not just a disgruntled customer. I had no work done, but I was about to trade in my car because the repairs were so expensive, it wasn't worth it. I will attach them to this review below. All I want is for your mechanics to be honest about what they found. Just be honest. Do your job.First photo is Pegoraro invoice.Second photo is the other mechanic in Oregon.

Good honest work, great customer service. Kyle will do anything needed to get your work done correctly. Just had a complete motor rebuild on my 6.0 Powerstroke, took longer than expected but Kyle kept me informed and honest. A couple things were found to be re done after the repair, and they were more than happy to do whatever it takes to get it fully repaired. I would definitely recommend them.Services: Engine repair, Air conditioning

The whole team is amazing! As a single female, picking the right shop can be extreme hard! A lot of places give you the feeling of being taken advantage of because you don t know the typical pricing to get items fixed on your car. Pegoraro always offers a rental when my car needs work, and get have helped me a ton just in the last year! Had to get my engine rebuilt for a timing belt and I have had about 4 check engine light issues that they have fixed within 24 hours for me! They are great!! :)

Outstanding service, flexibility, and helpfulness. I would give them an extra star if I could. We were driving into town in a 1988 22' Class B motorhome with an aftermarket engine conversion when it started acting up. We called a few places and when they heard what we had they were all unable to take us. But when I called Pegoraro the immediate response was "No problem!". We were able to drop the RV off that night and the next day they were very prompt with their communication and diagnosis. Some hard to find parts (old vehicle after all) were needed but they went the literal extra mile and their parts person drove 3 hours to get us what we needed to get back on the road.It is rare to find a shop that can deal with our odd / old RV, let alone one to do it with such friendliness and efficiency.

Joe, Todd, and the whole team have done a spectacular job of helping to maintain our commercial fleet. They were able to help me refine our maintenance budget, have provided excellent service, nothing but honest opinions, and even some suggestions for fleet tracking that we will now be implementing. I started taking my personal vehicle there as well. While not overly expensive, do expect to pay an honest price for quality, honest work. Their transparency, integrity, and customer service have made our experiences with them nothing but enjoyable and highly satisfactory.

They seem friendly enough, but will over charge.I brought my vehicle in for a coolant leak which they found the issue to be a crack in the radiator. They then quoted $1,500 to put in a new radiator. I also needed new struts and shocks put in, to which that was quoted that by itself at $2,200.Seemed pretty high so I called around to some other shops, no one was asking for that high of a price.Do yourself a favor and check out 'In and Out Auto' in Gladstone, OR. They charged a total of $1,700 for a new radiator, shocks and struts install (had my own parts already), new front brakes, and 4 new tires. Got it all done in a day.

I brought in my 99 Suburban for the check engine light and the radio working intermittently. It too 4 days to get the vehicle back. They did nothing. They said they couldn't fix the radio because it worked when they turned it on. Then they estimated $4,800 to repair the engine. The vehicle is worth about $3,000 and I had told them I didn't want to spend much money on an old truck. Pegoraro charged me over $270 to hook up their computer analyzer unit.I said no, I wouldn't be paying them $4,800. As I drove home the radio would not work. Disgusting business!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

The crew at Pegoraro Auto Repair is great to work with. They do an informative complete comprehensive inspection and give you a list of things that could use service and rank them based on how important the services should be. They were able to take care of my needs in a timely manner and offered a loaner vehicle free of charge. The prices for the labor was competitive and fair, and although a couple of shops were a little lower, I felt that the service and integrity of the shop was worth much more than the difference. Thanks, I will be back in the future.

I could not be happier with them. I own a business that I have to use my van to get from job to job. Wednesday late afternoon I was driving on the freeway and my transmission went out. This is a really new van with 61k miles. Of course my warranty is 60k miles. They was nice and called a tow truck for me. Van arrived about 45 minutes later just before 5 p.m. I told them it was crucial to get it done as fast as possible. They called around and the only place that could rebuild my transmission fast was up in Seattle. They pulled my transmission out that night and the owner drove the transmission to Seattle at 4 in the morning on Thursday. They picked my transmission up from Seattle Monday morning and put two guys on the job and I received my van back Monday afternoon. This was a 3 day turnaround because you can't count the weekend. They way above and beyond to get me working again. I can't tell you how much I appreciated there hard work.

I took my GMC diesel for an oil change almost a year ago I received many notifications for oil change and other services since then. I have owned the truck for five years and have pulled a 16,000 pound fifth wheel for 32,000 miles. I have never had any trouble with the transmission leaking or using transmission fluid. The transmission fluid was fine when I took it in for an oil change. I feel that it was overfilled at that time of the oil change But I cannot prove it. It is now almost a year later and I have a transmission leak. I just checked the transmission fluid and it is over full and no one has touched the vehicle sense The oil change they provided. I have been duped by other mechanics in the same manner but I can t prove it because a year has gone by and I didn t double check to make sure nothing else was added without my knowledge because I trusted them. No I have a transmission leak and I m taking it to someone else and this time I will double check to make sure nothing else was done to the vehicle to get me to come back for more repairs. Very disappointed.Service: Oil change

I just completed my first repair at this facility. I received an estimate over the phone for a fuel pump replacement so I had my truck towed to this shop for the repair. There was some miscommunication over the phone regarding the total cost of the repair but we were able to quickly come to a reasonable compromise that I found satisfactory. The repair was done quickly and professionally as well as all of the communication between myself and shop employees was professional. I will return for future services as needed.

We were very pleased with our first encounter with Pegoraro Auto Repair. We came in for an oil change and received the most thorough evaluation that we've ever had of our vehicle. The recommended urgent and eventual repairs were listed clearly in an understandable format along with the estimated prices. We'll be back!

I went to Pegoraro auto repair to get my head light bulb replaced. I would own a car that requires a $150+ light bulb. On the plus side Kyle and Todd was very friendly and let me know what my money was going to before they did the work. Much appreciated. I left satisfied with nice and bright headlights! Thanks!
