I've been here two times over the course of several months. I couldn't be happier with both experiences. They are friendly, fair, and reasonable. I've not had to wait more than a day to get an appointment and the work was completed within the estimated time frame. I'll go back whenever I need help with my vehicles.

Took my daughter s car in for a weird issue where her hazard lights would not turn off. They were great about finding the issue quickly and effectively. Honest and professional shop that isn t out to nickel and dime you! Highly recommend!

This place doesn't even deserve one star I took my car there to have the brakes and rotors replaced 6 months ago and then my brakes started acting up again causing my steering wheel to shake these idiots tried to tell me that it was because of my back brakes that the steering wheel was shaking when I push on the brake pedal I don't know where these people find their mechanics but they should send them back to school so they can learn something I'm no mechanic by any means but I do know that when you push on your brake pedal and your steering wheel shakes that means you have bad rotors that's only common sens. This place is a joke

Like most people, I dread taking my car to any shop for fear that you are going to to get taken advantage of. My experience with My Dad's Automotive & Exhaust has restored my faith in the fact that there are place left in the world that have integrity and transparency. When they spent the time to diagnose the issue with my car and found the issues, they called me up and let me come down there to loot at what the mechanic we seeing and allowed me the chance to ask questions and talk thing through. Even though the out come of my visit wasn't the news I wanted to hear about the state of my vehicle, I will certainly be back in the future for the things I cant tackle on my own.

My mother had work done at a different shop and the car wasn't drivable 70 miles later despite paying $2000. Took it to 'My Dad's' was told they couldn't look at it until next week which was understandable. Got a call a day later that the car was ready to pick up and that the previous repair shop put in faulty parts. The car was saved and we saved a ton taking it to this honest, reliable and dependable small business - we trust My Dad's to give us the straight answer without any high pressure up sell. Thank you for another project done on time and under budget.

I went to them to assess the need to replace the battery on my car. I was blown away by the level of service these guys gave me and my car. Such a thoughtful desire to help, to understand the problem and to do everything as well as possible, that one cannot even wish for better. I went to 6 car repair shops that day and these guys were the best in all of Vancouver. In addition, they also gave the best price for their services and this despite the fact that they were the first of all six that I called on! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They were friendly, informative and did their best to save me money. It's nice to not feel like you're being ran over because you don't know much about cars. It's rare I don't ask my husband to handle car stuff.

My Dads did a wonderful job replacing my alternator and fixing a coolant leak on my 2016 fusion. I explained to them that I do most repairs myself and they were very respectful of that not trying to up sale other repairs. I also very much appreciated that I wasn't treated like just a dumb girl that doesn't know what I'm doing as that tends to be what I get from other places. Straight forward work on the car. They came in and asked if the work could be done, then went back out and got it done. The work was done and the price was very good.I have been hunting for a shop.Went to 3 in town that did not add up.I'm going back to this one.I usually do my own work, but these computers are not the tinkering I want to do.So they got it covered.

I was getting jerked around by Carmax automotive repair and the ford dealership was booked out. So I decided to take my car to Dads for a tune up and to address the check engine light. I gave a list of additional things I wanted to have done. I also prepaid. The next day they told me they did them all but 1 thing that did not need doing. HONESTY. They also charged about 700.00 dollars less than FORD dealership and about 250.00 less than CarMax auto service. It was nice they had a FORD tech on staff. MONEY well spent, I love it and will be returning for more work/modifications in the future.

Incredibly nice people. Very helpful and took time to explain multiple muffler options and prices and in no way tried to upsell me. Had it installed in less than an hour at the best price I found after calling five other shops. Highly recommended!

Don't bother taking your car anywhere else. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! I experienced a car breakdown in Vancouver on my way from Bend, OR to the Tacoma area. These folks were kind enough to fit me into their schedule, and although the engine codes were indicating potential major issues, they recommended a conservative approach to repairs that resolved the problems and had me back on the road that day. After having a number of negative experiences with auto shops recently, their friendly, professional response to my issues was so refreshing! Jeff is a very kind man. I brought my car in for new brakes and also told him about a funky sound the car started making after a different shop worked on it a couple months ago. Displeased with the service from the other shop I had nothing good to say and blamed the other shop. After taking a look, Jeff handled my disgruntledness very well and reassured me that sometimes shops receive faulty parts and that he would have used that same brand. He suggested I take it back to the shop I had the repair done and ask them to fix it.Jeff was also really good about explaining what the issue was, using the diagram on the counter.I highly recommend them.

I had some issues going on with my van. I called on a Friday afternoon, they got me scheduled for a diagnostic first thing Monday morning. They found the problem in less than an hour and were able to fix it the same day. They were fast, friendly and honest. Still amazed how great their customer service was, how well they explained things and how quickly they got it finished. They didn't try to upsale or nickle and dime me. We have used My Dad's for many years and have always been very happy!! An auto breakdown is never a planned event, but they always find a way to work us in. They are trustworthy and dependable, with very fair prices!!!My cousin was just visiting from out of town and his truck broke down. We sent him to My Dad's knowing that they would take good care of him. First off I never leave bad reviews but we had a HORRIBLE experience with this exhaust shop. Quoted us more than any other shop for exhaust then tried to install cheaper parts. Treated us like we were dumb. Bad vibes and worse prices! Take your money and go to Punks exhaust they are awesome and reasonable!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I couldn t recommend these folks enough. I think I reviewed them years ago but I since moved 40 miles north. When my local exhaust guy was booked out I trailered my f100 South to My Dads. The staff is knowledgeable and professional, especially Tiffany. She explained everything needed, answered all my questions, was very friendly. The whole crew seems great. Got the work done on time. I highly recommend them. Make an appointment tho, they are pretty busy!

Get this.... I walked in for the first time to check this place out for my Rav4 and had a coupon from the web site. Except it was from the website of My Dad's in California (no relation to this shop)! Guess what? Jeff said they would honor the coupon anyway. Good first impression! I tried them out with an oil change, and the coupon included new wipers, battery check, tire rotation, look things over. I asked for the recommended synthetic oil, for which I paid a few dollars more. Well, it went without a hitch and Tony finished faster than the time they had estimated. And the wipers? They even included one for the back window! Everything checked out good except the rear brakes, and I need to watch the shocks/struts and plan for that. So I took it in two days later for the rear brakes, they cost $40 less than estimated because Tiffany found a better price for rotors, and in less time again. And Jeff said to watch for Monroe's annual buy-3-get-1-free sale in September for the shocks and struts, which I will. I got to meet and thank Tony, who did the work. So altogether, first experiences, this shop was very nice. I plan to revisit for more work when needed.

These guys take good care of me and my vehicles. Mark is a great guy. He always gives me options and fixes my stuff right the first time around. The whole staff here is easy to work with and honest. That can be hard to find in a mechanical shop. These guys will continue to get all my business.
