My husband, Stephen, has used Gaynors Automotive for several years now.Most recently for the purchase of 4 tires for his Toyota Tacoma truck. After consulting with John, who has 20 plus years of tire experience and knowledge, a selection was made. Upon installation a broken sensor was discovered. John replaced it at no charge as my husband thought Gaynors was the original installer. However after we discovered from our receipts it was done somewhere else and let him know we owed them money, John refused the compensation. Wow! And thank you.This downtown location is easy to access and has plenty of parking. They also offer shuttle service. Shop is clean, waiting area as well. Very professional and friendly.My 2018 Highlander is no longer under warranty and we will be using Gaynors for its continued maintenance as well.

My experience at Gaynors was great. My check engine light came on late last night so I called first thing in the morning. Gaynors was able to take my car in, diagnose the problem and have my car back to me within 24 hours. They charge a fair price and do great work. Super friendly!

Very happy with my experience at Gaynors. I called early in the afternoon on Friday and despite having a pretty full day John was able to squeeze me in before closing that day. There was no push for additional services, and my oil change was done in about an hour. They did a full inspection on the vehicle since it was my first time in and made a suggested service recommendation for before my next oil change. If you want a no frills, non-pushy experience go check these folks out.

We were over 600 miles from home when we heard an abnormal sound from our engine, friend of the family did a diagnosis and advised us water pump bearings were going out but he wasn't able to do the repair and referred us to Gaynor's. We are so grateful for their expertise and how well they addressed the problem. Our car sounds like new again. The job took a little longer than they hoped but they kept us informed. It's hard to find a good mechanic and we feel we did. If lived up here, Gaynors would be our shop

Everyone here was nothing short of amazing and helpful! I was headed out for work only to find a flat tire and they were able to come by with a portable air compressor to fill up so that I could get to their shop. I was in and out within 15 minutes after they found and plugged the hole. Such a small, routine service made the biggest impact on my day. Not just for the sheer convenience and ability to fix the issue quickly but they were professional and kind to myself, as well as the others who were there for services. Coming from a customer service background I don t take this kind of thing lightly and it seriously makes such a world of difference in my opinion. They ve gained a loyal customer.

Gaynor s is the best!! Since moving to Vancouver I ve gone to the Downtown location for various car fixes or maintenance procedures. Very kind and attentive crew who really make sure you re taken care of and feel at peace with any issues. Highly recommend their services for the people, the prices, the quick yet thorough turnaround, and (importantly) the longevity and health of your vehicle.Thank you Gaynor s :-)

Exceptional service. They were honest and transparent when explaining the issues with my vehicle. The manager, John, let me know what needed to be done immediately and what could wait. This was refreshing as in the past other auto repair shops I have used were not so honest. This will be my go-to spot for future issues. Thanks Gaynors, my car runs like a dream.

I chose this place because it's local, had a coupon on the website for oil change discount, and we had them previously fix an issue on a family vehicle where a tire needed plugged last summer and it was very simple and quick. the guys working there are nice and helpful, great and clean environment with a waiting area, otherwise walking distance to a lot of great spots. I have already recommended it to a friend as a better option than Valvoline locally, as they rotate your tires with an oil change as well. Took around 65 minutes for an oil change and I received a text to come pick up the vehicle.I was also impressed with the vehicle inspection report emailed to me with pictures and recommendations, tire depth remaining, etc.

I was over priced on rear brake pads and rear rotor set at 615 dollars. Just rear pads for 112 dollars?!?!? Something isn't right. Once I called in and complained they immediately took off 50 dollars. But still it doesn't make it right that they mark up such mediocre parts and try to take advantage of people who have no basic knowledge on basic car repair. Thanks! Gaynors automotive!

Great group of guys! I was there twice before about my motor light. And one other look that was not a concern witch made me happy I did leave it there over night thursday they fixed my problem found one more fixed that had my car back before the weekend happy girl. This was my first time at a Gaynors location and I was very impressed. Reasonable prices and great service. I really enjoyed receiving an email at the end of the service with a checklist of what was taken care of and photos of my vehicle!

They changed the brakes on my BMW X3 m40i and did a great job. Excellent customer service, very fair pricing and easy to work with. Will be back and would recommend as a great alternative to dealerships.

They were such a tremendous help and were very understanding when my hours made things difficult to coordinate. Everyone I spoke with, was helpful and courteous. They made paying super easy in the end by sending me an online link which with my hours allowed me the piece of mind I needed while I figured out my transportation options.

Gaynors is now my go-to for any car maintenance especially this downtown location. I came in at opening this morning with a nail in my tire and I was in and out in 20 min. They are super helpful, kind, and efficient! Highly recommend!

Was told I would get same day results. I had to call the next morning, only to find out the repair costs $11,000 for a new transmission for a car worth $4,000. Costs are costs, I guess, but car was dropped off before 9am. 24 hours just for a diagnostic with an appointment could be improved.

My 2000 Subaru was throwing me check engine codes. I went on the website and got an apt for the next day. The good team at Gaynors Downtown diagnosed the problem, had the part and fixed it by the end of the day. 5 stars, will use again.

Second experience after a great first experience. Everyone there are just nice people. Not overly nice or salesman style, just real. No upselling, just straight forward about what the options costs were for my car needs. I d guess the pricing is probably at about average based on some pricing I did around town. I got some new struts done, same day. Dropped off at 10am, picked up at 4. They re my go-to s now. Nice to have a trustworthy mechanic.

Headlights assembly replacement was done faster and less expensive than I expected. Beautiful job. Previous brake job also excellent. They also performed a 60 point inspection for free.

Gaynors on Broadway is our favorite spot for our work vehicles. We have a fleet of vehicles that need regular service but where Gaynors goes above in beyond is their skill and compassion. Over the last three years we have had several unfortunate break-ins and they are kind, compassionate, and responsive with the best care of our fleet. They do not try to oversell, they are honest, respectful, and great all around. Thank you!
