Took my car in to get some work done. After getting a quote I decided to not be lazy and do the work myself. I appreciated the fact that they took the time to explain the situation and the reasoning behind the quote. I appreciate their honesty and patience and will definately be using them in the near future. These guys are solid mechanics and aren't scared to work on your imports too. With these guys, you're vehicle is in good hands.

I have always had wonderful experiences here. The mechanics are friendly and thorough in the work they do. They take time to explain things (without making you feel stupid) and give you the whole picture of what s going on with your vehicle so you can make an informed decision. Ray (who usually runs the front desk) is incredibly helpful and went out of his way to help me solve a problem with my dash lights before I paid for diagnostics. The repeated great experiences here have made me a lifelong customer. Thanks for the work you do!

Straightforward people who were friendly and efficient. Just did my seasonal tire rotation so nothing major but they still treat you with respect and are helpful. So glad they re here!

These guys are great. Initially heading into my appointment, I felt stressed about the issues happening with my car. The technician that checked me in had me laughing right away which helped settle my nerves. He listened to all of my concerns and made the drop off process quick and easy. A few hours later I got a call with the list of issues on my car, delivered to me in a way that made me feel like they were looking out for my safety and my wallet. I was able to pick up my car a few days later after the repairs were made. The pick up process was extremely easy as well. The gentleman who helped me took his time going over the list of other items I ll need to take care of in the future.They tell you what is most important to address and how much time you have to save up and get that done. For a younger woman with little mechanical knowledge, I felt at ease and well taken care of. That s saying a lot honestly. I highly recommend East Vancouver if you re looking for honest work from friendly people at reasonable rates. I ll be bringing my car back here time and time again. Thanks guys!

Customer service is the #1 for this tire place . They know how to treat u ! If u ever need a tire or anything done to ur vehicle this is the place to come ! I would rate 100/100 ! I've been too many local mechanics including mechanics in Portland. once I found East Vancouver I don't go anywhere else anymore!! I'm treated respectfully, honestly, and I don't get a hard time if I don't want to fix something.Soon I'll be dropping off my 1969 VW bug!! Can't wait to get it running again!!

One of the best customer experiences I've had. Ray went out of his way to help find out the history of a car I recently purchased which didn't have previous records. He saved me more than $4k in repairs since they had already been done in the past.

I just got a alightment done here and it was the first time I visited this shop. Price was very reasonable. Ray at the front desk as really kind, passionate, and knowledgable. I will definitely be coming back here for anything I can't tackle myself. Thanks guys!

This place was the best! They saved us when we came back from vacation and found a flat tire. They were so friendly, did fast work, and had the best play room for kids! In fact. My kids didn't even want to leave. Service: TiresService: Tires

Wow, wow, wow. Great service plus advance notice of items to have done in late 2023 and in 2024, so i can plan time needed for future appointments. Plus owner showed me something I can do myself with a part I easily found at a nearby auto supply shop.

Great, Honest, Very Fair, and very Well-Run neighborhood auto repair shop. Ray here is the Car Man! Never an upsell or an upcharge. Just good, focused, hard work of the very old fashioned honest kind. Shop services promptly most brands and can easily order, install, and align the tires of your choice. Enjoy no regrets ever on employing these great car techs!

Tried getting an alligment and said they did would call me if they had problems in the process they would call me, well before closing otherwise it would be done at the end of the day. They called me 30 mins before closing and said they couldn't get it done because all of my ball joints are toast and can't do the alligment. They tried charging me double for all 4 of them and making it 1200$ for that whole service. Just had my ball joints checked by another shop. They said they were completely fine and did the alligment. Their customer service skills are terrible, they literally hung up the phone on me and my dad when they realized they couldn t scam me. i came in having issues with my drivers side window. i did not have them fix it because they tried to scam me. the glass had simply fallen out of the tracks, and the door panel was a little loose so the button wasn t making a connection anymore. they told me i needed an entire new window and tried to charge me $400. i brought it somewhere else and they fixed it within a day- no new window required east vancouver automotive also did not put my door back together correctly, on top of trying to scam me. whoever was working on my car did not know what they were doing, every time i closed my door the entire door panel would fall out. my panel was NEVER like that before. the photo included is after getting my car back from them ! i will never be coming back!Service: General repairs & maintenance

We thought this was a trustworthy place...after acquiring a used vehicle we had them do a full inspection. They came up with a list of items that they recommended get taken care of, and we scheduled to get it done. $1,500 later, we were excited to have a rig in great operating condition! However, the VERY next day the AC blows, requiring another $1,300 repair. Seems awfully coincidental considering some of the maintenance work they did was on the AC. But of course they take no blame and offer no help or insight, just "those things happen".Extremely disappointing. Let me start off by saying I had a very hard time trying to find somewhere to get an alignment, since my work hours coincide with business hours to many repair shops.After speaking to many rude people from various businesses around the area I found these guys, who not only could get me in same day but at my lunch hour! They got my car done faster than they quoted me and I paid exactly the price they said I would pay. Which in itself was awesome. They even offered to drive me back to work if they didn't get done in time.Great experience here and will for sure be returning.

These guys... I could not say anything bad about them. I bought my first car for college not even a year ago, a 2014 Honda Civic with extremely low miles. In the second month after buying it the transmission went out. My parent has come to them for their car for a while now so I thought why not go to them too. I have never really worked with cars or understood them but when your spending money on them its good to know or have a general knowledge of what is happening. These guys will really sit with you and explain, draw pictures, and even search up what parts are being discussed so you know exactly what is going on. They are very knowledgeable and so patient i couldn't say that enough. I truly trust this group of guys to be truthful and honest about what is going on with ones car. they have never disappointed!

Had been awhile since I had a car worked on by them. They exceeded expectations. I worked with Luke a lot and he was very nice and had no problem explaining things. I had my steering column replaced and also my serpentine belt and a wheel bearing. Will be doing further work with them.

We have been using East Vancouver Automotive for all of our repair and maintenance needs. From my newer Ram truck to my sons older 4Runner they are always friendly and helpful! Jeremy and the crew are honest and insure that all repairs are needed and safety is the first priority. These guys went above and beyond for me even though I didn't have them do the work needed. It was way out of my budget the car was mislabeled during the sale so I'm disputing the charge and trying to return the car. They sent all the information they had on the car and offered to speak with anyone, if needed, to state the condition of the car and my statements about it being mislabeled to them on the day that I picked the car up. Jeremy has been super helpful. If I need any work done in the future I would go out of my way to bring it to them. Good service from someone who cares is hard to find.

East Vancouver Auto is one of the very few places I can take my car for repairs and trust they will do everything promised. If They find another problem while under the hood they are honest about how long you can put the problem off or explain why you shouldn't. Even if I could find a cheaper shop the honesty and quality are priceless, but are far as cost I've called around and found they charge just about the same as everyone else. I think what makes them stand out from the rest is that they keep the same employees, and it's a friendly environment where everyone feels respected so the guys doing the work take pride in what they do and make sure everything is just right before giving a car back.

Asked them to replace a clutch. Charged me 1200 dollars and did the repair over a weekend. Day I drove it away the clutch blew again. Brought it back. One weekend later they put another clutch in. Clutch made a god awful rattling sound that was not there prior to them working on it. They told me it would cost another $400 to fix the problem. Safe to say I did not bring my car back there to have them attempt to fix it again. Not happy with this work.In addition, they told me that I had an oil leak that they would fix for free if I brought it in for an oil change since a family member of mine was a frequent customer. Upon me bringing it in for an oil change, I was told the person who promised me this "wasn't here today" so they couldn't fix the leak. They preformed the oil change for around $40, which was reasonable, but did not fix the leak they promised to fix.Overall I would not recommend this place for repairs. The run around I got from them personally was disheartening, and I've heard similar stories from my family members going here for repairs. It was disappointing because me and my family have been frequent customers for a while and it felt pretty bad to be treated this way despite this. In addition, the way they did my larger more expensive repairs was an outright nightmare. Nobody should have to worry about their car blowing up when driving away from a professional shop following repairs.Personally, I'd look elsewhere if you need expensive work done.Will give them 2 stars however because they are super polite as they give you the run around.

Way overpriced, don't believe they are experienced enough 2 diagnose a vehicle correctly. Did work I didn't need done and overcharged also charge for Diagnostic which most shops do not when they do the work. Still have the symptoms after picking up vehicle and have progressively gotten worse. Very shady people did not give me my parts back when I asked. Drop $700 on a few maintenance things that I could have done myself and were not the problem. Owner just wanted to argue when contacted. Won't be back and would not recommend this place especially to women.

The only shop of mechanics in town I trust. Their prices are reasonable, service is outstanding & they are up front with vehicle repair costs. They won't tell you that you need service that you don't. Efficient, fast & deliver on their completion time-frame promises & at times sooner. I highly recommend for oil change, minor & major repairs! Thanks again, I will be a forever customer!
