Made an appointment to have a front axle brake job. While doing this the techs also found that our control arms were metal on metal. Being as we use our vehicle to ferry our grandkids a lot we were appreciative that David's Auto Repair has our safety in mind. Stephani ordered the parts and while waiting for the parts to be delivered she detailed the inside of our auto. David's Auto Repair has an excellent front desk person in Stephani and their techs are second to none. I recommend them for all major repairs.

Had my vehicle with an issue towed here. Never interacted with the mechanics, but they did a great job on my vehicle. Front desk person provided some of the best customer service across any industry I've experienced. Given what I know today I would not hesitate to use this company again.

I took my old 4Runner (1996) in after it wouldn't start. It turns out that the starter needed to be replaced. Since I was a recent owner of the vehicle, I also asked for a full inspection.The inspection was very thorough and the inspection results were delivered digitally (which was great). I approved for a few additional repairs based on the inspection and now the car is running great. The total cost of repairs seemed reasonable considering all of the inspection/diagnostics that I requested.I also received a discount on the labor since I am a AAA member. I will be taking the old 4Runner back for regular tune-ups and oil changes.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

Thank you to David's Auto for fixing my blower motor! While it was expensive it was worth it and it barely took a full day to fix.After I left, the check engine light came on and there was a slight rattle under the dash. Sarah reached out to me to make sure everything was fine with the car about a week later, I told her of my issue, she had me bring it back and a little while later those issues were fixed too.

I just called this place trying to get a diagnostic. They said they normally have cars dropped off in the morning and then they keep them all day.. I told her this is my only vehicle so I needed to schedule an exact appointment time so I can get my car back in a timely manner. I asked her if there was any way that she could do that. Because I wanted to use their services but I cannot drop off my only vehicle.. I asked if there was any way we could schedule an exact appointment time, I said I wanted to use their services. She said she schedules them, And I couldn't speak with anybody else. I asked her if you were really willing to lose my business because we couldn't find an exact time for me to drop off my car. She literally hung up on me after I asked her that.. I was truly wanting to use your services. If a manager reads these, I called her today at about 4:29. Horrible customer service!! :/

The experience I ve had with David s auto has been fantastic. The diagnostic report was super user friendly online, everyone I spoke to regarding service to my vehicle was kind and patient, and I was able to communicate via text for everything I wanted done. Service was very quick, and they even park all vehicles in the safety of the garage at night! This was super comforting to know. I will be returning for all future service for my car, and referring others here too! Thank you!

Jessica and the mechanics at David's were amazing at supporting me in dealing with a mobile mechanic company who charged me over $600 for parts and service that weren't needed for my car. Jessica not only helped me recover the $200 for the parts, she provided advice on how to recoup the service charge for the repairs. She went above and beyond helping me! Turned out I only needed spark plugs and wires. Thank you David's for having such an amazing incredible employee that doesn't let the customer down!

I value customer service. David's Auto Repair Service IS Customer Service at it's best!I just had my son's brakes replaced by David's. The price was more than fair. The turnaround was much faster than I expected. The brakes are the best they have been since my son has owned the car. You can't put a price on customer service. David's delivered. Thank you!!!

If you have a BMW and need it fixed for a great price and fixed right this is the shop for you! I recently visited David's shop twice to get some things fixed and my car was in and out of the shop in no time at all. One of my favorite things about David's other than the great work they do is the environment and customer service from the time you drop your vehicle off until the time you pick it up. Craig who works the desk is great for some laughs and David is great when it comes to explaining in depth any issues, concerns or even good news about your car. I have to say I have been to a LOT of shops and David's is by far the best out there! If you want great service, honest people and a vehicle that runs the way it's suppose to then go to David's!

Have been using this shop over ten years. More expensive than some but the location is handy and the owner is always around, which is nice.Had a dead battery this weekend, so I got a jump start and drove in this morning, dropped off my Jeep Patriot before work.I was charged $196.16 in labor for diagnostics (what is this, clicking a couple wires together to see if there s a charge?) checking fluids and tire pressure, which were fine, and switching out the battery.Total bill (including the unavoidable taxes) was $374.88.For nearly $400, I received a new battery and a complimentary car wash. I asked the counter person, How could this possibly be so much? And she informed me that their hourly rate is competitive in this area, helpfully adding that all prices are going up right now...food, housing...wow. Call me naive, but does anyone really think this is a fair deal for having a battery replaced.I m in shock and won t be back.Service: Battery

So we just moved to Vancouver this week, and my car was shipped from Missouri and actually beat us to our new house. When we arrived and tried to start our car, the engine wouldn't start and the battery appeared dead. AAA came and told us our battery was shot and to take it to Daves.They got us in on a Monday morning, cleaned my car and ran an electrical test that showed everything was fine, and didn't charge us. Car is doing great.I am always dubious of car mechanics since I don't know anything about cars and I think they are always try to screw me, so I feel very lucky that we have a place so close to our house with people we can trust to assess our car. 10/10 service and if anything happens to my car again this is the first place we are going to go.Service: Electrical repair

I am beyond impressed with the service, value and ethical business practices that I experienced as a first-time, walk-in customer at David's.Jessica took the time to listen and investigate the rabbit trail of my previous service history carefully, arranged for transportation, all while keeping me in the loop of communication. David performed same-day diagnostics and service stemming from a timing-belt service performed at another shop.At pick-up, I was surprised to find that my car had been washed ,vacuumed, and smelled like it went to the spa.These guys do the right thing. They offer service options, realizing that every customer is unique. They are excellent communicators and have their ears open to ensure that the job is done right, the first time.Loyal, life-long customer, made.

Just got my spark plugs changed here and I had a wonderful experience. The price was fair and David got it done an hour and half faster than I thought it may take. He was very kind and did his best to make me comfortable, as I didn't have a way to get home while he was working on it. He is incredibly knowledgeable and explained things very clearly. I recommend this shop to anyone with auto repair needs and I will be going back there with any car problems I encounter.

I usually do my own car repairs but I had a damaged valve and decided to take it here, overall I had a great experience and my car is running just as it did before. They worked with me on options I was looking into and provided quotes when asked, sometimes they would do additional research to get a more accurate quote and I appreciate that. They took good notes while doing the repairs so I was able to read over everything that was done in the end. When they encountered troubled parts they provided pictures, which I've never had a shop do for me. The front office staff was very friendly and kept in contact with me throughout the whole time my car was there.

I started taking my car into David's Auto Repair after getting robbed by the big Ford store in Vancouver. My most recent appointment was for brake service and repair, oil change and tire rotation. I have found them to be polite, professional and friendly. The estimates have been accurate, and the communication excellent. I have, and will continue to recommend David's to my family and friends. Is there a 0 star option? This is by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with anyone on a professional sense. I bought a car that needed some repairs, and trust me they reminded me that it wasn t their fault I bought a bad car, but the whole reason they are a business is to FIX cars with problems. I don t know if it was my young age or the fact that I m a female who doesn t know a ton about cars, but they made sure they took advantage of me at every turn. My car stalled for the same reason on 3 separate occasions (beginning of March, beginning of April, and beginning of November) and I had it taken there those three times for the stalling issue along with a few other times for other smaller issues. On the third time it happened, I spoke with Jessica on the phone who said they found the issue (that s what they told me every other time). So I asked why the other times it had been brought there they hadn t found that issue. She insisted that I had never taken it to their shop before for that issue as if I didn t even know what I was talking about. She also then tried to convince me that the span between April of 2017 and November of 2017 was an entire year so I should be happy that my car didn t break down for that same problem sooner. Just to have more clarity on my side, I called AAA who told me that all 3 times it was towed was for the initial issue that i said and they said that shops they recommend should not be making it this hard on me. So my dad and I went in to the shop Saturday to pick up the car after it was fixed, and he asked if he could speak with David, the owner. Jessica was already on the defense and in a horrible mood when David walked in who wouldn t even listen to us about anything we were saying. Once again they insisted that April-November was a year and when things got more heated David even said I guarantee your car will break down again. It could be the alternator the next time! The fact that I spent over $5200 there (out of my pocket as a college student) and they wouldn t even hear us out or anything was so ridiculous. They told us to not come back. My car is still not driving good enough where I feel comfortable in it. I have never dealt with anyone as incredibly incompetent as these people. STAY AWAY! It is absolutely awful.

We have used David's for about 5 years with 3 different vehicles. They have always done a good job at a fair price. I have shopped the pricing on specific components and they are not the cheapest but we don't want that, i want good work at a fair price and they deliver on that. Most importantly we recently have a huge issue with something they did, huge communications breakdown. I was expecting David to make it right and was very pleased with his offer to take care of the issue before I even asked. No one or any company is perfect but i judge them when things go wrong, and as a long history has shown, David does it right and makes it right. Long term client, and happy to stay and keep it that way.Thank you David for running your business the way it should be run.

I have been coming to David's Auto Repair for just over three and a half years now. I have always received excellent customer service above and beyond what you would expect from any auto shop. Their outstanding services have kept me coming back whenever I am in need of them. They have on more than one occasion gone out of their way to make sure I walked away satisfied and problem free.I feel I got lucky finding this establishment and have recommended it to my friends and family already. Its rare when you find a place of business that takes care of you and that is why I am recommending David's Auto Repair to you also.

I brought my vehicle to David's auto repair to have a diagnostic done on it as something was off about the engine noise and acceleration. After the diagnostic was complete I was told the noise was due to a improperly placed air filter. A week later the check engine light came on and I called David's back to find out find out if I brought the car back if I would need to pay another diagnostic fee. The tech asked if I knew what code the computer gave me and I said it had to do with the EGR Valve as I did not have the exact code written down. He seemed to be frustrated that I had the code ran at AutoZone and explained I would need to bring it in to have additional tests run on the car and that I would be charged. He explained he had been doing this for years and that a parts replacement was not going to fix the issue. After speaking with this male tech who clearly did not think a woman was capable of understanding how cars work or maybe just lacked the ability to explain what needed to be evaluated I do not think I will be taking my car here again. This was a very disappointing interaction after receiving pretty good customer service in the past.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I was thinking about buying a used car, so I brought it here for a pre-purchase inspection. They were able to see me the same day, and performed a full inspection efficiently and thoroughly, while texting me updates the whole time. Great price too. I d recommend David s Auto Repair to anyone looking for good, quick service and professional staff.

It's a rarity, and relief to find a repair shop that I actually trust. I've been taking my car into David's for oil changes and all other necessary repairs for a few years now, and have received consistently great service! Brought my pickup in for a break issue, instead of dealing with the issue they quoted to replace all the breaks, calipers, rotors, drums, etc. Only needed one new caliper, part cost me <$100. Original quote from David's was >$2000. Beware of unnecessary auto work.Additionally, they stated that unless I replace the rotors (which were perfectly fine), none of their repair work would be covered by their service warranty. If they were in bad shape they could have been resurfaced for >$20 at a auto parts store, but they stated they had to be replaced for >$330.This was my first interaction with this repair shop. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

I had a excellent experience with David s auto repair! My 2003 Ford Explorer lost all engine power while on the freeway and I feared the worst I had it towed to David s auto repair for diagnostic and they found the problem and fixed it. It was a simple fix bad connection they were honest and let me know picked it up next day with no issues! Would recommend to anyoneService: Electrical
