Elizabeth is awesome! She was forthcoming and transparent in every aspect of my repair. I brought my car in because I was told my transfer case was bad and they towed it and checked it out and what I was told was correct so they found a replacement and replace it. They are awesome!! I will recommend this place for sure!

My clutch went out at my mailbox within sight of my driveway, and I managed to get it home. It needed to be replaced immediately since it's my only transportation, and I began looking for a place. I spent time researching places, reading customer reviews for each business, and narrowing them down between two places. After looking at the first place, I then checked out AAMCO. They were the first one I called the following morning, and I spoke to Elisabeth, recognizing her name from one of the reviews. After explaining what had happened, she told me that they'd run a diagnostics on the car, free of charge, in case it wasn't the clutch. She went on to say that they wouldn't suggest work to be done if it wasn't necessary. That statement sealed the deal for me. It's really quite easy for an auto repair business to sell you "X" when all you really need is "W." I was confident that they wouldn't do that after Elisabeth walked me through their process.She said to get my car in that day so they could at least run the diagnostics and get back to me. I had the tow truck drop it off and gave the driver Elisabeth's name. By that afternoon, she called me with the results and the cost. The next afternoon, I went in to pick my car up and was helped by Bryan. He told me to return in 10 days so that they could recheck everything to ensure it was operating the way it was supposed to. I didn't need to make an appointment, nor would there be any cost to me for the recheck.Honestly, I can't remember the last time I received that high level of customer service from the initial phone conversation to pick up. If you want a level of honesty that can be rare to find in auto repair, I highly recommend the AAMCO in Hazel Dell on Hwy 99. They deliver on their website's quality assurance statement, and I will be a returning customer.

A little more than a few weeks ago my daughter's Ford Focus caused her some problems. We figured it was a transmission issue. I took it to a mechanic I recently started using and they confirmed it was the transmission recommending to replace it. For $7200!!! OMG. My brother recently had his transmission rebuilt by Aamco and recommended I call them.Elizabeth was excellent. Sometimes you can tell when someone really cares. She emphasized that the transmission rarely needs totally replaced and strongly suggested I at least let them look at it. I agreed to do so.When I called back to check on towing Brian, the owner, answered. Again he seemed to really care. He told me of the 100s of transmissions he has seen he only totally replaced one.$3900, a warranty, car still on the road and daughter happy. Saved me over $3,000!!I strongly recommend this mechanic!

Elisabeth and the tech team are terrific -- great communication, friendly, and best of all, they know their stuff. I came in for a leaky transmission and they had me fixed up as quickly as possible. It was a complicated job, but they made it as painless as they could. Two thumbs up!

Engine light needed a diagnostic bumper to bumper check. This was a Aamco free check service. Needed decal hours to go thru the total process.Recently had transmission fluid replaced. Was so impressed with their customer service returned over concern about the engine light.Great news. Just some outdated codes that had never been deleted.No charge.Whatever Aamco car services do that I need, now and in the future they earned my business 100%.Wouldn t think of going anywhere elseBen Tracy, La Center10/16/23

I was told by another large company I have been loyal to for years that I needed to replace my head gasket. AAMCO found it was simply a stuck thermostat. The total diagnosis and repair cost $350 rather than the proposed $5,000 head gasket fix. My whole experience from setting the appointment to picking up my car was fantastic. They asked multiple questions to help diagnose the issue and just seemed so sincere about doing their absolute best to truly find the issue and get it taken care of. They won my business over without question. Thank you AAMCO!

After reviewing my transmission it required a new transmission or a re-built transmission. We went with the re-build. The over all cost was a lil more then we expected but my Saturn 2007 is running like it was brand new. My car was done in the estimated time projected, about 5 days. This was my first experience with AAMCO. This shop is professional and the employees care about their customers. I highly recommend this AAMCO.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair

My check engine light was on, so I brought my car in to get it checked out. Luckily, it was a minor repair. AAMCO performed the repair quickly, charging only for the part. They also recommended an engine flush to keep things running smoothly. We scheduled this service for another day and they once again offered a discount, throwing in a free oil change. Even minor car repairs can add up quickly, so the pricing was much appreciated! Overall, we had a great and smooth experience working with AAMCO. I'm sure we will be back in the future. Thank you!

I was fortunate to choose this shop to replace a transmission in my Lincoln Town Car. I had believed that the warranty on their work was the best reason worth choosing them, but I have found the shop to be a top-notch shop to rely on. I was impressed throughout by the diagnosis and the completion of the install, on schedule at the price quoted! I recently returned for a much-needed repair not related to the transmission, and I received excellent advice and diagnosis. I chose to have the work done and got the proper repair at the price I expected. The Lincoln is in good hands at this AAMCO location. My husband took his 2005 Dodge Dakota for service.Boy the parking lot is busy, you have to drive around to find a spot.Other than that, he was pretty satisfied with the results.And will go back with our other cars if needed.

We dropped our car off at the AAMCO in Hazeldell WA after a rough weekend. The transmission went out coming over the pass. We were in quite a bind. Mike, the shop manager picked up the phone and talked me through all the possibilities and unfortunately it ended up being one of the worse case scenarios. He was upfront with me straight off the bat. It was an expensive fix but he helped me weigh the pros and cons. He also helped me out with some online coupons that made it able for me to get the 3 year warranty. It's been a good experience with the acception of just keeping me a little better up to date. I had to call a couple times but it worked out and they got the job done in a timely manner. Thanks Mike and thanks AAMCO.Service: Transmission

Brian and his team are amazingI've had to bring my car in 2xs in the last month for services and they have taken care of my car right away. I would recommend them for anyone needing car services. Oh and Elizabeth at the front desk is pretty awesome as well :)

Invoice #l134256:My husband, Doug, scheduled work with Mike on June 28. He was impressed with his politeness and direct answers. When he took his truck in, it was ready sooner than the estimated 2 hours and the bill was what he was told. In addition, Mike let him know his U joints would need replacing soon just like we had been told by another company not too long ago. Overall a pleasurable experience that he won't mind repeating for future needs.Service: Transmission

THEN: Thought I was pretty much screwed before Brian found the cure. It may have doubled the price of the truck BUT it's worth it in the long run- thing will last the rest of my life. In and done before lunch tomorrow.....more to follow.....and it didn't cost THAT much!!!!!NOW: As it goes it shifts, stays in gear, no clutch slip, no grinding, and found out what I needed to see with the 2 speed it has also. This sur beats the old AAMCO that used to be on 4th Plain 30 years ago.FUTURE: We have the convertible going in next month for fluid filter adjustments, and the Dodge going in for the same the month after-yes, I would recommend them, highly!!!NOT JUST TRANSMISSIONS: They do a lot of other stuff, tune ups, oil changes, "what's wrong with it?"-type things. I'd call and ask for a quote if you have something that some shop is going to do, might find it more economic to go here, never know, worth the phone call to say the least.....Thanks guys!!!

Mike was amazing vary professional and well spoken and knew what he was doing. This location was great and they got my clutch repaired in less then two day s . I m truly amazed at the level of experience And Dedication these Gentlemen have. I would recommend them to anyone who needs any kind of Mechanical service they are amazing and they are honest people. My transmission went out in my mustang and I was terrified...I am disabled on a fixed income so my car sat for 3months before even contacting Mike at AAmco. He helped me with financing and was patient when I needed a week to come up with the 4,771.00. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Even if you think you can't afford it. They will help you with financing. Great, Honest people. That is rare now a days.Service: Transmission

Met by Mike at the front desk, all my transmission needs were met that day in a more than reasonable amount of time and for a very fair price. Asked if they did 100,000 maintenance, they said they did. Dropped off my car and they said 2.5 hours. It took all day for them to say the looked at it and nothing was needed.Today I took it down the street to another place for an oil change and listed 3 things AAMCO missed. I m pretty sure they didn t even look at it. Hard to trust a shop that misses 3 major maintenance needs.

DO NOT take your vehicles there, they are a ripp off..They charged me $1500 + tax for a job that was not done. They claimed dismantling the transmisi�n, they did NOTHING to it..then when I refused to pay $6000 more to supposedly rebuild the transmission, they offered me $500 for my truck.
