Had a grind noise going on. Took it in for a free test drive. Joe told me it was my bearing, which I told him I just replaced. He took me in the garage to show me what he was looking at. Showed me it was something I could fix myself, they relieved all my stress and didn't charge me a dime. I'll definitely be coming here and recommending it if ever needed again.

Can't say enough about how great these guys are! I've worked next door to them for years and our company has had them work on multiple of our vehicles. My wife's car needed the transmission rebuilt. Joe got us right in and had the work done in no time! Cheryl in the office is great and very extremely nice. Thank you all for taking care of us!

I took my old truck in to have a test drive done and then was told what the problem with the rear end was. I'm giving five stars because I don't have anything negative to really say about it. I will say I chose another transmission shop and had that very issue done for $1,000 less than I was quoted here.

This was the only place within an hour radius that agreed to rebuild our motor home transmission. They were fair with their quote and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. I took my 86 Buick t type there for a bad transmission leak. I was real hesitant about taking it in to a business rather than doing the job myself. They are the greatest transportation shop ever! Very knowledgeable and helpful. I had a problem with my jeep that was still under warranty, but they helped me through it! If I have a problem in the future I will be taking my vehicle to them and telling my family and friends to go there.

Cheryl and Joe were great. Cheryl quickly responded to my email and got me on the schedule and Joe made sure my car was serviced quickly. Everyone was really helpful and nice.

I live in Edmonton Alberta, My daughter and her family are on a road trip to Seattle. After a few days in Spokane their van was making weird noise. Calling Valley Transmission Cheryl said to bring it in asap. Joe the mechanic took it for a ride. Had them fixed up in minutes for FREE!!! What could have been a disaster trip with three kids and big plans for fun. Was all fixed by these incredible people. thank you Valley Transmission for taking amazing care of my family. They called in tears so happy they found you.

I was traveling from Bozeman, MT, and my shifting was kind of rough for about 6 hours. Since that is exactly how it acts when the fluid is dirty, I wasn't alarmed. After parking in Spokeane, I noticed a small leak and realized that it was serious. I drove to the dealership, and they told me that "maybe they would fit me in" and "there are 30 people ahead [of me]". I contacted one transmission shop that wouldn't service KIAs, and they told me to go to Valley. I called, and they told me to come in. They worked on my car since it was the first thing in the morning, and they fixed the leak in less than 2 hours and topped-off my fluid. They are great people, and they didn't even charge me. Since it was just a lose c-clamp on the hose, they tightened it, filled it up, and sent me on my way. I haven't run into a single problem since, and I am very happy with my service.

My Ford Ranger automatic transmission was spewing out error codes so I took it to Valley Transmission for a rebuild. Two thumbs up for the head mechanic that spent time explaining to me what happened to cause the problem (snap ring failure) even though it was obvious that he was drowning in work. Also, two thumbs up for the lady at the front desk who has to be one of the nicest individuals you ll ever want to meet. However, when I got the truck back home it failed to start the next day and sporadically after that. The problem turned out to be a defective manual lever position sensor that they had installed with the rebuild. Further, it was explained to me that it was of Chinese manufacture. If I had known up front that they were using Chinese components in their rebuilds I would have requested OEM parts and happily paid extra for them.Service: Transmission

Joe repaired my jeep within a few hours of having it in his shop, the place I purchased my jeep from had it for 6 days and had no idea what was wrong with it. I explained everything that was going on with it to Joe, it was stuck in 4 low he immediately knew what the problem was without even having to do a diagnostic. He was honest and didn't try to rip me off or charge me an outrageous repair price. I highly recommend them! Thank you again joe!Service: Transmission

If I could pick zero stars I would I dropped off my truck three months ago and finally got it fixed was quoted $1000 did not receive any courtesy calls saying that they were going to charge me more Ended up paying 1300. Over the three months of waiting on my truck Vehicleless and very stressed out, I would periodically called the front desk and spoke to the lady at the front desk named Cheryl. Two months and I was told that the truck would go up on the hoist in the next week two weeks later I called back and she became very rude on the phone to me, told me she didn t wanna do my truck anymore and Hung up on me after waiting 2 months already. Called back immediately and talked to someone in the bag named Joe who is a little more reasonable. I asked to speak with the owner and she told me that he was retired and couldn t be reached so I hope here she sees this on here. I was told that I was going to get a phone call when it went up on the hoist never happened never got a call letting me know that they were going to charge me more one of the worst experiences I ve ever had fixing vehiclesService: Transmission

They rebuilt my failing transmission about 2 years ago. Great service. As a retired certified ASE master tech I am impressed. So, when the rear end got really noisy, I took it to them. They fixed it !!! Once again Great Service. Plus I got a military discount. Thank you all for a job well done.

Great establishment spent time on diagnostics on our Motor coach even taking it out on the road to test it once he checked the transmission and knew we did not have a transmission problem. Going across country we were going over mountains apparently the engine has a sensor problem. He felt we were totally safe continuing on to Shelton knowing we had an engine person already lined up. Since we have one more mountain pass to go over he did suggest we stop before the pass maybe eat dinner and we would be fine. They would not take one dime for all the time Joe spent on it. Great customer service highly recommend this establishment, they will take great care of you and be totally honest.

Absolute best mechanics I have ever worked with. Joe is friendly, professional, and honest. He worked with my car for hours trying to figure out problem I told him it had and didn't charge me a cent for any of that time. The actual repairs he did charge me for were more than fair. If you are looking for low prices and someone who actually cares about your vehicle, Valley Transmission is your place.

Recently had two transmissions rebuilt from from Valley Transmission. When I was looking for a shop I did my usual internet search and found them to be one of the higher ranking locally owned shops in town so I gave them a call. From my first phone call Cheryl and Joe were polite, friendly, and compassionate. Joe was able to answer all of my questions and gave me options for the rebuild of my fox body mustang and when it came to my wife's newer car, he was able to answer and help me explain the situation and provide me with a competitive solution. Shawn (the mechanical) who worked on our vehicles took the time to answer my questions and help me better understand the internals of my failed transmission, he also made sure not to cut or damage my custom exhaust system! Thank you! Never excited to spend money on something that was not planned, but when I do its nice to feel comfortable knowing your vehicle is being taken care of. Excellent display of knowledge. Obviously this business cares about hiring experts. They looked and diagnosed my issue for no charge. Pointed me to a shop better suited to helping me with my car problem. Exactly the kind of attitude you want in any mechanic. The only negative thing I have to say is that I had an appointment and at my scheduled appointment time they took a walk in instead of me. Its normal for me to wait up to half an hour after an appointment time before I walk out, if they dont care about my time why should I care about theirs? They got to me as I was standing up to leave, and I'm glad they did.

The transmission on my van was having problems, so I called and they were able to get me in that day to do a diagnostic check. They told me what was wrong and didn't charge me a dime! Best customer service ever. Their competitor (Aamco) had me scheduled a week out and wanted to charge me $150 just to tell me what was wrong with it. Stopped in at lunch today to see if they could look at my truck. Joe got his computer out, hooked it up and we went for a drive. Of course the truck wouldn't replicate the issue for him but after we were talking about the symptoms he said it could be a brake switch and told me how to test and fix it. Issue turned out exactly what he thought and no charge. Joe's awesome and definitely recommend Valley Transmission. You definitely have all my future business!!Service: Transmission

Wouldn't even give a quote on a basic transmission flush because they don't have the kind of fluid I need in stock. Just plain lazy business. Yes, I did call back which is when she told me they don't want to do it.

After being told by our incompetent mechanic that he couldn't check or top off our fluid because our tranny was locked by the dealership, we took it here. Sure enough, our mechanic had flat out lied and there was no "lock" on our transmission and it didn't need a special computer to read it like our mechanic had also said. Valley Transmission happily checked our fluid and topped it off and I scheduled with them to repair the leak. It was thought we needed to replace our cooler lines and it would take half of a day and cost $250. Well, being the honest people they are, they determined that a repair was all that was needed instead of full replacement. 1 hour later and only half the price we were on our way!

Our 2006 Dodge 3500 had been having transmission problems for quite some time. My husband took our truck to Valley Transmission. The expert team diagnosed our problem, and fixed it quite promptly. We are very pleased with the service we received, and how well our truck performs. Our truck is a working truck and we need it to work. Now let me talk about the team at Valley Transmission. They are top notch. My husband was coming in from Canada with a "broken" truck and took it to Valley Transmission. As soon as he arrived he was greeted and the team took over. They were friendly, informative, and helpful. We were made to feel comfortable and confident in the work being done. The team worked very hard to make our truck right. It is working great. We say thank you to all at Valley Transmission and highly recommend them. They know what they are doing.

I was convinced my U-Joints were going bad and asked if they could give me a Quote. They gave me an estimate but wanted to test drive my car. They squeezed me in on a very busy day. Turned out it wasn't my U-Joints; my tires had some odd wear that produced a vibration similar to the vibration caused by aging U-Joints. They told me to get my Tires rotated. I did and that fixed the problem. Total cost:. $17.00

Joe took the time to listen to my concerns. Even did an extended test drive to diagnose , and of course the truck shifted flawlessly while he was in it, as is always the case. I did feel more confident that nothing was going to fall off the truck after he performed his inspection. I'll wait til it starts acting up again and definately will use Valley in the future. Be warned, parking in front of the shop is tough though.

Their old commercials stated - "where our customers send their friends".We thought those commercials were effective & mentioned them to friends who needed transmission work.The guy who does body work on our vehiclessuggested we go to Valley Transmission, when we told him we needed thetransmission checked on a suv.He said they are the Best.We are so pleased he did, it verified the commercials.That doesn't often happen.The people at Valley Transmission are very professional, knowledgeable, capable, experienced, & have great customer service skills.We appreciate them.

I went to this shop to get an opinion on a possible transmission problem. They test drove my vehicle with me and scanned it with their scan tool. Turns out the trans was fine and I had a misfire in my engine instead. They provided this service free of charge and refused payment. I'd gladly go back just for the honesty.

Took my truck to a competitor (AAMCO) and was told I needed a transmission rebuild or a new transmission. I wanted a second opinion and Valley Transmission quickly diagnosed the transmission valve body as the problem. Literally saved me thousands of dollars in repairs. Couldn t be happier.
