Came into look at an 11 year old car with 54k miles. It looked really nice in pictures; they were asking 16k. I show up to look at the car and both sides the paint is completely trashed. Dents and scratches every where. Shifter installed backwards and missing shift bezel. Reverse lockout broken. Interior torn and ripped in the cargo area. It looked like an angry ex keyed the sides and the scratches were down to bare metal. They intentionally hid all the blemishes in the photos. I was very disappointed in the condition cosmetically but it did run and drive OK. I asked if the price was negotiable being in such poor cosmetic condition and they kept trying to tell me they would buff it out. You can't buff out dents or scratches down to bare metal. They literally told me "paint doesn't drive the car..." no but significant body damage has a very big impact on value.I did end up trying to follow through with purchasing the car as I had already been approved but my monthly payment would have been astronomical. I called and asked how much more of a down payment I would need to get the payments down where I could comfortably afford it. They said they would return my call and never did. I don't like to judge on appearance but the salesmen looked like ex drug addicts. Missing teeth and very scruffy and crusty. This place seems very shady.They intentionally hid the blemishes to bait me in to coming in and then tried to convince me to buy an 11 year old car with thousands of dollars in body damage as if it was in mint condition. I honestly wondered if the mileage had been rolled back somehow; it was that bad.. It seems like they prey on people who NEED a car and can't afford to walk away. Before I came in to see the car they were very helpful and did a great job returning my phone calls and working to get a deal together; but when they realized I wasn't one of those people they stopped putting any effort in to help me.

They're not a high end fancy car lot, but they're absolutely great at working with us! It wasn't high pressure (medium-low pressure, which is acceptable at a car lot, they gotta make their living too!) and when we gave them our budget, they worked with us to find the best price. We got our car inspected before purchase, and they were 100% cool with that, no trying to trick us or slip something by, and when we came back they not only worked with us to find the best price (again!) to make sure we got our best deal, but they even suggested a mechanic for a few issues that needed fixed. They're a used car lot, so I didn't expect a showroom new truck out of them, but I didn't expect them to work so hard to make sure that we got out of there with what we needed at a reasonable price with a smile! Great service! Thanks so much guys, you're awesome!

Like all car lots and attorney's they need that money. You get what you pay for, and I had $4,000.00 Drove away with a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan! Nice:)

Don't believe them and get car checked out before you purchase. I did the mistake of not getting rig checked out and there was a bad bearing the mirrors in visors fell out rear view mirror came off all in the first week and by the 4th month it would not even start. They knew I had no cash and took 500 off my trade in for 500 cash said they'd work with me! I came up with the 500 cash but could not make first payment so they repoed cost me double to get out! Made the next 2 payments and it quit starting and had a radiator.leak and god knows what else... they repoed it so I lost my truck I owned for 11years and the rig ....I was not going to pay 1000.00 for a rig that would not even start then try to fix!!!! I'm single female bearly making it and they took my only mode of transportation and now have to ride the bus and employers won't hire with out reliable Transportation! Thanks TK. But help like yours i don't need Enemies!Update: After I saw post that the owner posted i Called! And well there was no solution.....I'm suppose to take accountability that I signed a contract for AS IS. Last I heard bad bareing is a safety issue which it is against the law to sell a car that is not safe to drive.I had asked for an accounting several times after the fact and was suppose to get one and never did. I was reviewing what they said when I turned them into the Attorney General and I believe they lied to them saying I was a payment behind. I wasn't even 2 weeks late and tried to contact them before the payment by email for hardship due to loosing job and they would not respond.. i tried calling and finally got ahold of Craig who OKAYED me to be late on payment JUST TO HAVE IT REPOED THE NEXT DAYNow this could be wrong to mention but have you ever heard of the GPS that also has a stater kill. Pretty funny 2 weeks after my payment for Dec. It wouldn't start... How many others TK Auto vehicles won't start ? After bought is what id like to know.....the pics are my truck I miss dearly and the mountaineer that had something new wrong with it everytime I drove it and they said it resold so there is nothing that can be done. Im just out my truck and money.

NIGHTMARE CAR DEALERSHIP!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM UNLESS YOU WANT PROBLEMSBack in February 2023 I traded my car and my partner financed a car with TK. When I traded my car, I forgot to take my plates off and when I asked for them back they said they got rid of them. A week later I got a toll bill from the other side of the state with that license plate number. They had no explanation for this. We had the financed car for about 7 months. TK had my partner sign 3 different contracts because they kept saying there was an issue. There shouldn t have been an issue when things were processed fully and the first contract was signed. After they asked her to sign the 4th contract, we decided it was just time to take the car she had financed back. At this point, Mike, our sales person was avoiding us. And when we could reach him, he was just straight up disrespectful, even laughing at my frustration multiple times. When we ended up taking the car back I told them I needed my traded vehicle back or money for it. They brought the vehicle back to me spray painted, the inside is completely tore up, and has the worst smell i ve ever smelt in a car. DO NOT DEAL WITH TK AUTO!

These people have NO MORALS. They will sell you a car with the wheels falling off snd my car only lasted for a week! The starter went out out then the alternator. They will say it s your fault for not knowing about cars lol well I m sorry for assuming they care about reliability or safety. The bolts were literally unscrewing I couldn t figure out what the sound was and just looking at the tires you couldn t tell until it was too late and the wheel came off taking my child to school the next morning after buying the car. im surprised I made it home from the dealer. They also do not honor ANYTHING that s not in writing so get any promise made to you in WRITING if you are still crazy enough to shop here.

Very sketchy people, tried selling me a car with problems they didnt want to fix. Told me I got rejected by all these different financial places and worked hard to get me a deal. I went to autonation and bought a newer car with only 30k miles on it and had zero problems with financing a car. Tk then called me a week later and asked if I was still intrested in the car when I explained I already got a new car the guy on the phone said "surprised they were willing to work with you" then asked me to refer people to them. I'm not giving it 1 star because my buddy got a camero he really likes and didnt have the same experience as me

This place is awesome. The general manager Craig is a sweetheart he ll do anything he can to help you get your vehicle running if it s not even is an excellent salesman I would recommend everybody go to this car lot that s looking for a good deal go to TK auto they can t do you wrong. They ve got my business in the future guaranteed.

I was helped first by Greg, Greg was able to help me find my car as a first time buyer and as someone with little to no knowledge on cars, he gave me his personal and professional opinion on certain cars making everything very comfortable, After he and I went through a wide variety of cars I was helped by Rob who respected my financial standards and worked with me on finding the right payment that i wanted with no pushy salesman attitude, I absolutely loved my experience here at TK Auto, I recommend anybody looking for a car to come here, they definitely know what they re doing!

I went over to TK Auto Sales on Sprague Street a week ago in search of my first car. I have to confess, I saw there were a lot of negative reviews of this place online, so I was a little wary at first. But when we got there, the dealer, named Tony, was very friendly and helped me to find a car that was a good fit without being pushy. They have a lot of good looking cars at good-looking prices.When I settled on one, Tony not only worked hard to knock a fair bit off the price to fit my budget, but he also found a great insurance rate for me. On top of that, about an hour after I left with my (awesome) new car, he called to tell me he had found a different auto loan with a much better interest rate, so he had me go back and sign for it.In my experience, TK Auto Sales is a great place to get a car! The people are warm, friendly, and genuinely concerned with finding you a good fit at a great price.UPDATE: 6 and a bit months later, she still looks and runs great!

It looks like my last review is gone so I will post another just to warn people against using this establishment. I bought my 07 Acura MDX from TK in December of last year. A couple days after my purchase the check engine light came on. When I went to get it checked out my mechanic said it was the catalytic converter. I don t know much about cars but I knew that a catalytic converter most likely couldn t go bad a couple of days after purchase and it had to be a preexisting problem. My mechanic confirmed this and said based on the fact that the check engine light came on a couple days after purchase, most likely the codes were cleared from this vehicle. I continued to have problems with this vehicle for the next few months and often had it in the shop. I paid almost $4k in repairs! I filed a small claim and took them to court just based on the principle of this situation and wanting them to be held accountable. There were sketchy things about my experience purchasing this vehicle and I should have ran far and fast away from this dealership, but my other car had been totaled and I was desperate for a vehicle as a single mom who needs reliable transportation. Unfortunately I did not win in court because although the judge sympathized with me he said he has to follow the law, and when you buy a used car you get what you get. He did however give them a stern warning about clearing codes being fraud and told them if that s something they practice in their business to stop immediately. Ultimately the justice system is broken and us consumers pay for the awfulness of some of these business owners. I don t want anyone to go through what I went through so I want to warn you against using this car lot. I ve seen many reviews like mine and feel awful that so many people have gone through what I went through. This place deserves to no longer be in business as their business practices are anything but honest and truthful and they basically steal money from hard working folks just trying to get by. Please heed my advice and NEVER use this car lot!

We Got our 2012 jeep Cherokee about a month ago, it had some misfiring issues, but tkauto has gone above and beyond to make sure we have a great vehicle that s going to last a long time. Will be going to tkauto for any future vehicles!

RUN AWAY! IVE ONLY PUT 3500 MILES ON THE CAR AND ITS ALREADY REQUIRED $3000 IN REPAIRS. 4 MONTHS AFTER OWNING IT, STILL NO LICENSE PLATE. THEY KEEP SAYING IT WILL BE IN TOMORROW....GTFO. GARBAGE SALESMAN, THE OWNER IN AT THE VALLEY LOCATION SPECIFICALLY. THEY ALSO TRIED SAYING I OWNED $500 MORE THEN WHAT I DID. HAD TO CORRECT THEM ON THAT AS WELL. THEY ALSO PUT BROKE PARTS IN MY CAR WHICH ONLY LASTED 1 WEEK. NOW MY CARS LITERALLY ON ITS LAST LIMB AND IM A SINGLE FATHER. F THESE GUYS. I SHOULD OF GONE TO UNION GOSPEL MISSION WHERE THEY ACTUALLY HAVE CERTIFIED MECHANICS AND HONEST SALESMAN. SORRY TO CALL YOU GUYS OUT BUT AFTER REPEATED ATTEMPTS YOU GUYS HAVE SEVERELY FAILED TO MAKE IT RIGHT.

Not a good place to buy a car. These people hide problems and the owner is a crook. Beware!!! Have the car checked by a mechanic of your choosing. They don't even change the oil.

Haven't actually bought a car from there yet... probably in a few days when I make up my mind but I just wanted to give an employee named Noel at the Sprague lot 100% respect and say anyone looking for a salesman should talk to him because he listened was courteous and didn't try and pressure anything one bit. When I go back I'll deal only with him and recommend anyone else to deal with him as well. Thank you for making it a great experience because he's the first car salesmen that I'd actually recommend.

Just bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze from them. I explained I m a single mom to two kids and that I needed something I could depend on. They worked with me and helped me get into a car I believe is absolutely perfect so far. I ve had friends and family purchase from here and didn t have such a good experience but my experience was great. Super kind guys who will do what they can to work with you so you can get the car you want/need. I ve been through a lot recently and these guys made me feel so happy. I walked out with a car that s 10x better than the one I had. Hoping this car continues to be great! Thank you.

Its nuts got a car frome them it was a death trap front end suspension was broke. Spent 1200 to fix it. Work involved struts, tirod ends, wealbearings, ball joints and suspension links, then the radiator was leaking that was another 200. They sold me this car with a gas leak to figured theyd offer to help me with the work or even trade in. Im serious they said we will give u 5 to 800 in trade in value and i have to pay the taxes on the new trade in. What a joke iv paid em 1395 to date and so i said how much is taxes 700$ is what he said dam so id owe 5995 for this other pos and 700 taxs plus its insane.

Place is great! A year ago walked in with 1700$ to get myself into a car told them I needed something good for kids good in the snow and needs to be an suv. Didn t even make me put down the full 1/3 down payment for the car! They Worked with me and helped me drive off with a better vehicle I drove in with. And a year later the suv is still driving the same as when I bought it. Thanks TK for helping me get into a car I was looking for instead of all those other places that only haggle and change their customers minds. You are appreciated.

The buying experience itself was great. But they sold me a car that completely died within weeks. Engine is needing replaced and I've had it for maybe 6 weeks. 5k down the drain. Thank you so much TK Auto sales.

Complaint DetailsI bought a car and was told that i was being sold the vehicle for 10,900 with 3k down, but then was brought out a paper with a bunch of numbers and the guys said sign this and we'll get the deal done. Then after signing everything and calculating the down my trade in and down the total was over 13000 that was on the window sticker. I spoke to craig who said that they would forgive the last 550 of the downpayment but then call him 2-18 (1 day later) he says the owner is still going to want the 550. I told him i would be making a complaint and he said " good you will be 1 out of 1400 this year" these people dont care about running a straight forward business or about the customers. They are liars do not buy a car here

Sold us a car six months later to find out it's on recall it busted down because the previous owners didn't take it in for a free engine repair . So we are stuck paying for the car payment for a car that doesn't run . And they conned us out of the warranty. We said we pay 2000 down but tk auto was like if you pay a thousand down don't have to worry about the warranty. I think this shady I think they knew about the car being a recall so now we are paying for a new engine that four previous owners could had done for free but we paying on the loan . People do your research before going to Tk auto! They'll some how !!
