(Posting this on behalf of my dad, who wrote it): "I bought a 1988 F-350 new with a plow and small dump bed. It served me well over 30 years. But then, in the last two years wouldn't start or wouldn't keep running. I took it to four different mechanics in the Valley without success. It was far too useful to junk, so I tried one more. The head mechanic at Car Works on South Dishman Mica Road diagnosed the problem almost immediately and it was repaired within a day, at a very reasonable charge. He had worked on these as a young man and noted that most mechanics today couldn't fix anything unless they could plug it into a computer. It is now running like a top."

I've been working with Car Works for many years. They care for my personal vehicles as well as the dozen or so vehicles that were in my care at my employer. I've never had a negative experience. They are professional, courteous and willing to take the extra time to do the job correctly. In most cases they are able to get my vehicle repaired and back on the road in 24-48 hours. I would highly recommend Car Works to anyone.

These guys are awesome, I had a great experience with the shop. I took my car in for a diagnostic and they had an answer for me in a few hours, explained everything very well and I had my car back the same day. I took my car in because my battery light would turn on and off. Intermittent problems are the hardest to solve. It turned out that my alternator was starting to go bad. They wanted to make sure that they can reproduce the fault before digging in just in case it was a more simple repair. My alternator is located in one of the hardest areas to access. Parts and labor were very reasonable. I am well pleased. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I will be a return customer.

We have been taking our vehicles to Car Works for about 4 or 5 years. Each and every time they have been more than fair and honest with all of our service work. We have used many car shops during the 36 years we have been getting our vehicles serviced and this shop is a easily a 5 star. Highly recommend Car Works.Gary

My car had been damaged at a drive through oil change establishment. They worked with me to fit my car into their schedule, kept in contact with me during the process, and the price was phenomenally in budget. I'll be going here for all car work from now on!

Took my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 into them as a highly recommended repair shop. Kirk at the counter inspected my exhaust manifold and confirmed that I had one bolt broke off but easily accessible and should not require any drilling. He quoted me with tax $311.00.I received a very courteous phone call that my truck is completed and the total is now $479. I am confused and very upset that the final cost is so much higher than the estimate. I will be speaking either tomorrow

Took my '05 Durango to them based on a recommendation from a friend to have them repair the common broken exhaust manifold bolts issue on these 5.7 HEMIs. Very professional, honest, polite, clean environment! I highly recommend this shop. They were very quick with the turn around on the repair too.

Jim is a professional understanding guy. Him and his co- worker Allen inspire me to work on my own vehicles and when I can't finish the job; I can rely on them to take over and get the job done right. I've been going to car works for YEARS. These guys are definitely worth a five star rating.

One of the worst place I have had to deal with, not only ride to my daughter, they didn't fix her electrical problem. Got it running for two days and the problem came back, left her stranded with three kids. I had to go the shop to put a fuse in myself, to roll up window they would not get off their butt to help. Never again!!!!!!
