Been taking my 03 Porsche Boxter to Lopi for the last 2 years, and he has never failed get my car back on the road in realistic time. He has good communication when it comes to time frames of repairs, and is honest with his work and his prices. Look no further if you need a reliable, honest mechanic!

Originally brought my 2015 Audi Q5 in for transmission fluid service. I ended doing the front and rear brake system because that needed to be addressed first because I had no brakes left and it was a serious safety concern. Lopey was great in explaining what was wrong with my car. He also found other issues with the car and I will be bringing this back to work on very soon. He was also amazing and offered to clean my wheels too and ended up washing the whole car!!! I found a place where I will bring my car back without any hesitation because he will do a great job and go beyond my expectations. Thank you very much!-YogiService: Brakes

I was directed to European Car Clinic by a franchise oil service place. I brought my BMW X3i by without appointment and met the owner Lopy. The man could not have been nicer and the place is spotless. He addressed my issue free of charge and would not even take a tip without my forcing it upon him. He definitely has a new customer as I will not hesitate to bring my vehicle back to him or recommend European Car Clinic to anyone looking for good service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I cannot recommend this shop enough. I have a very problematic 07 Audi and they worked and worked on it till they found my issues and did everything possible to make it right. In the end it was impossible to repair and they did NOT stab me for labor cost! Very reasonable prices and excellent service. I had my BMW 328d towed here after it died on I-5 in Tumwater. I live in Vancouver so towing it home wasn't an option. The car was rapidly diagnosed and unfortunately the timing chain broke so the engine was destroyed. He was very gracious in helping me to address the issue with BMW and also notified me of a class action lawsuit for this very issue. After storing my car for two weeks, I was finally able to return with an auto carrier trailer so that I could bring it back home. The entire shop helped me to push it on the trailer and get it secured for the trip home. I can't say enough about how friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable they were. I would recommend them for any maintenance needs as they are very honest. Thank you!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Came here after already diagnosing my car at another mechanic. Just wanted to see if lopey would confirm it was the fact my alternator had fried due to oil leakage. That was all. He called me not even 30 minutes later notifying me it was the leak that ruined my alternator. I had to go back and wound up paying 150 dollars and was charged for 1 entire hour of "labor". What a joke. He also quoted the repairs at 2 grand ! My mechanic in town can do the leak! and the alternator for under 600. Thanks lopey that's the first and last hundred I'm paying you.

I took my car to European Car Clinic in July, 2022. It was diagnosed that the radiator was leaking (S80, 2007 Volvo). I told the person in the office that he should change the radiator. They changed the radiator. I paid $1,137 for diagnose, parts and labor and flushing of the radiator. I drove in the I-5 to go to Tacoma. The radiator light came out that saying radiator is empty. I got off in Dupont and called triple AAA. There was no antifreeze left in the cooling system. I tried to put water in the radiator and it leaked from under the car like a sieve. AAA towed my car to this shop again. It was Sat. afternoon and I was left with no car the whole weekend. I left the car with a phone message. The shop owner called me Monday morning and said that they fix the car. He stated that they missed "O ring" in the connection and that was the reason for the leak. He said they have done 1000 radiator and this is the first time. He did not take any responsibility and told me that he fixed free and put the blame on me. I left angry. Later on I found out that the Splash Shield under the car is missing. I called this shop and they said they do not have it. Now I am looking for a splash shield for my car which is hard since it is old car.The shop with this much experience as he says (1000 radiator) would miss an O ring and put my life in danger in I-5 and would not take any responsibility and put the blame on me.My purpose of this review is that I like to provide information about the type of service I received and my encounter with this guy.I WOULD NOT TAKE MY CAR TO THIS SHOP AGAIN AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYBODY.Service: Auto water leak repair

The staff is knowledgeable, pleasant, honest and fair. I bought my 16 daughter a Volvo with high mileage and several things wrong with it. Lopy and his mechanic are two of the most professional and honest people that I have ever met. I had a very unusual situation. I brought my Audi there initially and ended up having my truck towed there that had been sitting for 2 years which they were able to successfully get going for me. Even after the tow truck driver damaged the front differential carrier case. There is no job that these guys can t do. Lopy is a great man with lots of knowledge and an incredible amount of experience in life. He is honest, fair and easy to talk to, he is real. I recommend that anyone needing any type of work done to their vehicle that they go see Lopy. They were extremely knowledgeable with my GMC Sierra which is obviously not European but nonetheless, great mechanics can fix anything. Like I said, these guys know their stuff and there is absolutely nothing but honesty and quality with the work that they accomplish there. I think that it s hard to find that out of repair shops, and Lopy is proud of his business. Bring your work here, you will be more than satisfied and I know that they will impress you as they have done with me. I will only do business with European Car Clinic from now on. Hands down the best experience we have had with a repair shop. They have earned our business for both of our German engineered cars. They are knowledgeable, fast and reliable. They quickly diagnosed our Boxster and we had it back the next day. We were shocked! Their shop is clean and shows that they are meticulous and they value quality work. We couldn't be more happy with our experience there and we will call them first when one of our cars need attention in the future.

Yup, I got referred to this place by a friend who owns five BMWs. It has been professional service today:-). If he comes here to service all five BMWs, then it may just be good!I shall update after few weeks!This business is overpriced and over rated! It cost twice as much as other non-BMW dealers w/o any BMW dealer service.Do not go as the service and cost are under par:-/

Paid them $2,000+ to fix a problem and they were unable to fix it, so instead they fixed other problems I didn t want to be fixed and had to pay this hefty fee. Avoid this place

Lopi is the best!!! Great customer service and we're always very pleased with the work done on our cars. He even fit in our Mercedes Spriter Winnebago, for an oil change and service. If you're driving a Euro vehicle and need to get routine service or repairs, look no further. Highly recommend

Took my Volvo in to get a coverplate fixed which Mr. Lopez did at no charge.Car needed brakes and this was done within a few hours. He gave me a ride home and back when the work was done according to the quote.I'm new to Olympia and have found my car mechanic.Nice people. Very professional and helpful.Thanks!

This was my first time using this mechanic and he really helped me out with my new car repairs. The service was fast and prices were fair. What I liked best about this mechanic was that he took the time to show me each piece and part of my car that needed to be repaired/replaced and explained why they needed to be repaired/replaced by taking me out into the shop and showed me the broken or leaking parts underneath the car. Usually most mechanics just write down a list of repairs on their piece of paper and you have to take their word that these parts need to be repaired or even replaced if you don't know much about cars or can't see underneath your vehicle. This shop was completely different in that regard and that made me feel much more confident about what repairs or parts needed to be done with my vehicle.I felt pretty good after my repairs were completed and this is definitely one auto shop I will return too if I have need of their services again.Thanks Lopi!

Excellent customer service and very time efficient with vehicle services. The only one I trust to work on my BMW. Very knowledgeable and even pointed out what areas I should spend extra emphasis on for scheduled services on for the future. Honest and very trustworthy, two big factors I look for in a good mechanic. I definitely recommend Lopy and ECC to BMW owners and also other German auto owners.

Daughters Mercedes transmission went out. Lopi helped me find a used one at a good price and had it delivered to the shop. He had it done a day earlier than expected, got the oil changed and went over all the issues the car was having. Very friendly and professional. I will be coming back for any work on my BMW and Mercedes.

EDIT 4/19: I've now sent several friends to this business and I am happy to report that they have also been delighted with the service. Nice to see that a business maintains its standards over the long haul.Old Review: I have been taking my BMWs, Mercedes Benz, and my Volvos to Lisandro at Import Auto since he opened his shop, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else now.He is through, and communicates exactly what the essentials to be repaired "now" are, as well as what can postpone safely until a more convenient time.I grew up in the auto repair business, with my dad owning a shop since before I was born, and I have operated shops myself, as well as being an FAA Maintenance Inspector for much of my 40+ years as a licensed aircraft mechanic, and I have had the opportunity to know and supervise many, many skilled mechanics, and can honestly say Lisandro is the BEST all-around technician I have been around.AND, his prices are a fraction of dealer pricing, and I never have to go back to get things resolved as was common with the dealerships and even other independents in the Olympia area (some of which, thankfully, are no longer in business).Both thumbs-up for this business!

Stopped by to ask about scheduling brake svc on a used Volvo I purchased. Although near closing time, they offered to put the car up on the lift and check the brakes for me free of charge, and also invited me back to do a visual inspection of the car's under carriage with them. We found all was well; I will be back when service is due.

Have brought several vehicles of mine to this shop over the years, and never once have I had a bad experience. Lopy is exceedingly knowledgable about imports, specifically European imports such as BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, ect. In my case, I've brought my 1987 VW Golf GT to him on more than one occassion, and have always been treated with respect, and have had my repairs done in a timely fashion.He's never treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about, or didn't know what symptoms I was describing.And after every repair, he took the time to show me the old parts that were taken off of my car, and explained to me why they needed to be replaced. I feel like I can trust him on any car I bring to him.

We took our 1999 Mercedes CLK in for a major repair last week. Lopi showed us exactly what was wrong and what needed to be repaired. His quote was very reasonable. The work was completed on time and the final price was exactly what he had quoted.

I've taken both of my VWs to this place for different reasons. Both experiences were incredible; fast friendly service, workmanship, professionalism and price. I will continue to take my cars here as long as I live in the area.

Best European car repair around! Prices are reasonable and the service is quick! I won't take any of my vehicles any where else.
