1st Time Experience was exceptional. This is a five star, but I am a curmudgeon, so it will only get a 4x.What makes Greg's Unique - Mike, the manager, was no frills/upcharge nagging. Just, this is the recommend, and i can package that in for $$$ more. It was easy, and he did not make me feel stupid or dumb for having a Fiat 500L or some weird car compared to the norm.Pros - Dependable, personable, professional. Made me feel special/individual/good bedside manner. Mike made the scheduling experience easy, although it took me a week plus to schedule an oil change.Cons - ~1 week to get into the shop for an oil change. Had to drop off for the whole day, which was fine.I definitely will be coming back. Respect.Nothin like the smell of new tires and handing over a car key.

I scheduled and brought my car in for an Oil Change early in the morning and it was quick. Jeff was awesome and the price was very reasonable especially with the online coupon. Im tired of going to the dealership where they charge you an arm and a leg for everything. This place is legit. I'll be coming back here for sure!

Jeff Boswell was awesome and communicated every step of the way through the whole claim and repair work process. Every time someone stepped through their doors, Jeff greets them by their name, which you don't get that same customer service with other auto shops. The only downside was the waiting time of 2 weeks for my car to get back to me. But this was understandable because it was a whole transmission replacement, and the back and forth with my Extended Warranty company to authorize payment to them. Overall, they did a great job, and I highly recommend them.

I've always been happy with the service I've gotten from Greg's until today. When I picked up my car, one of the things they said I needed to do is replace my rear tires and they even had good deals on tires. I passed since I felt I just had the rear tires replaced a couple years ago at another place. I stopped off where I bought my tires a couple years ago. Turns out it was the front tires that were replaced, but when they looked at the rear tires, they said I could go another 20k before they would need to be replaced. I almost spent over $500 on tires that didn't to be replaced.I thought Greg's was a place I could trust to not tell me something needed to be replaced when it didn't. Guess I may have to look elsewhere to get my car serviced.

Very great team of professionals at Greg's in Tukwila. Took my car twice to two different Honda dealers and didn't get a diagnosis (ignored). Brought it to Greg's and they figured out what was wrong and made the necessary adjustments - all within about an hour or so (also had an oil change). If you own a Honda, these guys are efficient, courteous, honest, and top-notch.

Greg's Japanese Auto was friendly, offered prompt service, and frequent updates.When parts needed to be replaced, they walked me through my options and stated the pros and cons of each with clarity and honesty.I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Who do I contact at corporate to file a formal complaint. I have been taking my car here for YEARS and it just seems within the last 2 years their customer service has fallen drastically and today was the last strike! How is it that you schedule an oil change, call the morning of to confirm appointment and then drive to get an oil change just to be told in person you never had an appointment? Id like to add that my car also needed hundreds of dollars worth of servicing and well guess your loss! Ever since Parker left the quality of service, care, and education about car service has been the worst. I will no longer be supporting this business. All they care about it who can we get the most money out of.

I took my car in because of a strange sound it was making. Jeff came out and discovered the cause. He fixed the issue at no cost. I had my other car in for work to be performed and they fixed my car at a most reasonable price.

Quick service, reasonable pricing. Brought my vehicle in to replace low beam headlamp. Work was done quickly and for far less cost than the dealer quoted. I ll be back for other maintenance.

Mike and the team have treated me very well. They communicate well and made it easy for me to being my car in on short notice. This is the second time they have worked on my car and they did a great job with the repairs and got me back in action!

They try to get more money out of you and they are keeping my car. I called twice to get my car after they try to charge me $8k after tellimg me it will be $1,800 than $5,800 than 8k. They will charge me the $1,800 to put it back to the way the car was when i brought it.Not working seems to scam people

Was stuck in Seattle with a jammed gas door flap, without gas and 5 hour drive ahead of me on a Saturday afternoon.They were able to open it pretty easy and didn't make a big deal of it.

These guys at the Tukwila location are amazing. Super friendly, knowledgeable, humble and fair. I stopped in a couple weeks ago looking for a body shop that I thought had been next door. The manager (I think his name was Mike) was out front and stopped what he was doing (closing up for the day) to help me. My car had been in a hit/run while it was parked in front of my house the week prior. He ran in and got a special cleaner to take the black stripe off of my car, the car still needs body repair for the dents/crease in the metal, but at least I don t have to see the black paint when I get in the car every day. Two of his crew even came out and asked if they could take over rubbing the black off for their boss. He didn t let them but all 3 stayed out there supporting each other. They did this to be nice and would not take my money. It was even at the end of their work day and they probably just wanted to go home, but they didn t, all 3 stayed until Mike was satisfied it was all they could do. I was so impressed and wish I had kept all their names to call them out. The result, I will be taking all 3 of my cars there for service and tell EVERYBODY I know to do the same. What great customer service and super great people. It was easy to see the leadership style of Mike has taught his whole team to do the right thing and realize anybody can be a customer now and/or future. Good job guys! The BEST Greg's I've ever been to. Their customer service has always been amazing. They don't try to push things on you when it's not needed at the time. After bringing my first vehicle in a few weeks ago it was a great experience. So when my second vehicle needed repairs, I didn t hesitate to call this location. Sadly, my second experience was the opposite of the first. Brake replacement for a much older vehicle over 2k. Went to the auto parts store bought all the parts for $500 and found someone that is a mechanic that did the work for $400. Saved myself over 1500 by saying no. Def price gauging. Kelley blue book says fair pricing for that repair is 343 for front brakes so I expected just under a thousand but more than double that. I could not afford and my mind couldn t wrap around that. I got my tire sensor replaced a month ago at good year and they drove my vehicle and they didn t mention anything about my brakes being an issue. We started the sound days before we took it in. And we drove it there but when we left it was much worse, so they assumed we were going to pay that much and further made the issue worse. Thank goodness there are fair priced mechanics and shops still around but this place wasn t one of them.

Was at this place to repair my dashboard light, they told me a bunch of stuffs is wrong with my car(which is a lie) gave me a quote more than $3,000 and they ll keep my car for a couple of days. I told them I m no more interested, they made me pay $173 for supposedly diagnosis . I went to another mechanic and they fixed it with $336 within 3 hours. This people here are heartless scammers. Avoid them for your own good.

Mike was a lifesaver. I came in for a check engine light and electrical problem. It was a hard diagnosis so I payed a little extra and they fixed the electrical problem for free. They also informed me I had a problem with my transmission. I was having the worst day due to a family emergency and the transmission failed on my way home and I had it towed back to Greg s. They checked it out for free first thing in the morning and unfortunately the transmission had failed. They didn t charge me anything to check it out and went above and beyond trying to help me sell the car. I cannot recommend this auto shop enough. Reasonable prices and more importantly extremely caring and compassionate service. Im so grateful to for their team and particularly Mike who was amazing throughout all that drama.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I went here to get a second opinion about needing brakes. The service department at Mazda of Renton said that my brakes were at a 3 and needed immediate attention (repair). Their prices are ridiculously high so I stopped by Greg s Japanese Auto and learned that brakes typically don t need to be replaced until around 60k miles ( I was currently at 30k). They said my brakes were fine and currently at a 5. I appreciate their honesty and for listening to me. I won t be going to the dealership for anymore oil changes or services.

What a wonderful place to do business! I know this sounds funny but it starts with the bathroom! It was exceptionally clean. I can't help but think if this much care goes into the bathroom, this much care will go into the servicing of my car. It is the little things that speak volumes. Mike and Parker went above and beyond in servicing my car yesterday. I had a tire that had a nail/screw in it and was slowly leaking air. It is my only form of transportation and I wasnt sure if they would be able to get me in on such short notice. I called at 3:20 pm and they said bring it on in by 4:00. I was out of there by 5:30. The price was within my budget and their customer service was fantstic. They answered my questions and gave me options for the possibility that the tire was beyond repair.
