Had my wife s car in for a replacement of an already serviced recall issue. They had the vehicle in for a month. No offer for a loaner car/rental. The actual amount of work would not of taken more than 6 hours tops. We were told they ordered the parts the second day it was in the shop. Called multiple times for an update with very little response if any at all. This was all due to a fuel rail bolt recall. They had already done the recall work and then one of the bolts they replaced sheared off.

I don't even know where to start w this place. The worst place ever! Service department does nothing. They put old parts back in your car to cut cost on an already in process lemon car. They have had my car for 40 days today & when I drove it w a technician to see if problem was resolved it was 1000x worse! The WHOLE fromt end shook, 100% not safe to drive. Had to wait 10 months on a part, when they replaced it they did it wrong and when I drove it the horn STAYED ON THE ENTIRE TIME! They have no idea what they are doing and have completly ruined my experience of owning a VW. I would never recommend this VW location to anyone and I make sure to tell everyone I know to avoid this VW.

Took care of my Ford Fusions window tint installation, and the car looks great! The Service Team reached out to verify happiness with the service visit, and took good care of the car. Saved us some cash because the job was much cheaper than most local tint shops. Thanks!

Have used Larson VW of Tacoma several times over the last couple years for my vehicle and am constantly shown some of the best customer service I've ever seen in any industry. The team of service advisors greets with a smile and is honest, pleasant to work with, and exhibits great communication throughout the service appt. Each appt has been a breeze and I never felt pressured to purchase additional services. Would recommend this location to anyone looking for an easy painless car service experience with top notch customer service.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations, Oil change

I cannot recommend this place enough! Absolute best customer service, Bella and my technician Noah were so incredibly friendly and went completely above and beyond to help me. My vehicle wasn t easy to work on at all and had to be towed there, yet they really worked with me and did everything they could to get me back on the road! I have an older car and major repairs are now becoming an issue. But now that the prices of everything are sky-high, I decided to wait to buy a new car. Like any other customer, I just wanted the dealership to fix the major issues so that I can drive my car a little longer until our country recovers, and I can afford to buy a new car.First visit: I paid for services that cost me $2,405.94. Of the major concerns was the AC. It had been blowing hot air for a few months. The invoice stated that they performed a "leak test" but no leak was found (the name of the test they performed was not specific on the invoice). They fixed it and the AC was working again. But about 2.5 weeks later, it started blowing hot air again. Clearly, whatever they fixed the first time wasn't the main cause. I had to make an appointment to get it looked at again.Second visit: they performed another leak test. However, this time they made sure the type of leak test they performed was on the invoice, which was a "UV light" inspection, and I was told it would cost $871 to repair! Now I may be wrong, but I think any rational person would think that this is clearly a situation where the customer is being double charged for a service and was told that two separate inspections were performed or, they conducted a careless inspection the first time. I asked to speak to the Services Manager, but he went to lunch. I left him a voicemail message requesting a callback.He called me back about 5 hours later and I explained the situation. He asked what I wanted to do about it because his guys "did their job". I told him that I just wanted my AC repaired, and I shouldn't be responsible for any charges because according to my invoices, they either failed to perform a thorough leak inspection the first time or I m being ripped off. A thorough leak inspection should have included this UV light inspection . So, tell me, why didn't they do this the first time? Why didn't they make sure they used whatever instruments/equipment they had to make sure their customer's car is good to go? The people who serviced my car basically found the first problem they encountered, put a "band aid" on it and are now telling me they did an additional test which they should have knocked out the first time and want to charge me almost $880 for it.He kept saying "he" wasn't going to fix anything because they repaired it and somewhere along the way a leak happened. Then he started making condescending remarks toward me such as " let me put it to you like this" or "let me explain this in another way so that you can understand, or "it's an old car, things are going to break". I'm not a fool. I know this. That's why I poured my life savings ($2,400) toward services so that I could get a little more life out of my car. He then offered to cover 10%, which is not fair at all, because according to my research, the "part" to fix the issue runs around $39. He had absolutely no empathy at all for the situation and I didn t even receive an apology.I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They re resolution was to fix the AC the very same way they did the first time, which obviously didn t work! Are you kidding me? They also made a false comment saying that they quoted me $1,100 to fix the leak and they negotiated the price down to $871. My invoice does not reflect this whatsoever. I provided 2 invoices to the Better Business Bureau showing all payments and estimates. They also stated that I walked out without acknowledging if I wanted to repair the leak or not. This is also false. I told the lady at the front desk that I didn t want to proceed any further until I spoke with the service manager which happened later that day. I think that s called an acknowledgement.The whole situation is unfair and unacceptable. I mean, c mon, it s a cheap part! Moreover, I actually bought my car (brand new) from this dealership (2012). I've been going here for repairs for over 7 years and have always been satisfied with the services I received. Until now.Service: Air conditioning

I use Volkswagen of Tacoma regularly for maintenance as well as repairs. Even though I drive an Audi, I have found that the face of customer service is so much superior. I had an emergency break-down in Tacoma. They have a nice after-hours drop-off system, with an envelope where you can write what the problem is. They diagnosed it the next day. Bella was able to expedite parts delivery for me, so that the final repair to get the car running was completed faster than I expected. I recently went in to get an oil change and for something that was so simple but so hard to schedule around the holidays, it went great. I was helped by Summer H. who was super friendly and helpful. While the customer service I had buying the car was wonderful the service department is an different story. I was called to make an appointment for work that was promised as part of buying the car and also a seal jet coating on the car. I made the appointment and went to drop off the car in the morning. The ladies behind the desk couldn t find my reservation, and when I told them what I brought it in for they were very confused. They said it was only scheduled for the seal jet and not the repairs. She then asked who I made that appointment with. I explained they called me and I wasn t sure. Then they proceeded to argue with each other in front of me about who made the appointment. She then told me I d have to make another appointment for the repairs as the vendors weren t called out for this day. I told her I live in Seattle and can t afford to take another day off to drive down, it has to be today. I also asked if my plates could be put on as they were sent to the shop earlier.I also asked if there was a way to upgrade my stereo system to include Apple Play and she just responded NO. I guess the shock on my face made her explain more and she said I could do it after market but it would void my warranties. I dropped the subject. She didn t say more and just asked for my keys.After standing there for a minute I asked how long the repairs would take. She said all day. I then had to inquire about the loaner car. Oh you want a loaner car? Uhh, What would you like me to do, hang around the shop all day?So she calls Enterprise and I waited to be picked up.Around 5pm later that day I called to ask when my car would be ready to be picked up. She tells me tomorrow. I was confused because I had said earlier it couldn t be two days, that I needed it back that day. She said again the vendors weren t there and it had to be sent out the next day. It would be ready by 5pm the next day. I asked about the rental car and all she said is they d cover the cost for two days. When I arrived to pick up the car I noticed the plates weren t even put on the car at all. I asked if that could be done and she said she needed the plates from me. I told her that the dealer has the plates and I asked for them to be put on before I got here.I m very disappointed and I didn t even get a apology when I came to pick up my car.Also when I went to pick up the car, I gave my name and the same girl couldn t find me again and very rudely asked did someone call you to say it was done? Yes, I got called and I m not happy. The girl next to her perked up and was like oh do you have the beetle? I have your keys here! No apology, no supervisor came to talk to me and all in all I recommend going to any other Volkswagon dealership for your repairs. If you want to be met with rude, unprofessional people then this service place is perfect. If not, I suggest anywhere else. I will not be back to this dealer again. Which is sad because my seller was so wonderful. Very disappointed.

I bought a 2006 Beetle from a used car lot down the road from Larson's a few months ago and it came with several problems which this dealership has resolved for me, this hopefully being the last. The air-bag light had been staying on and was diagnosed as an intermittent crash sensor, which they replaced today with a 10% military discount Service Advisor Summer was her usual friendly self!

This place is like the Charlie and chocolate factory of car dealerships. The dealership is practically sterile, even the shop portion looked clean from what I could see. I was pleasantly surprised that despite appearing busy , the staff were pleasant to work with. Im happy these guys are living up to the VW name. 5/5
