Went here for a warranty repair and service, and they wanted me to replace the belt tensioner on top of the warranty repair. They quoted me $700 for just that, which was parts and 4 hours of labor. Car only had 45k miles, so seemed odd to me. I refused that repair.I went to another local shop to have the belt tensioner looked at and said it was fine. The guy at the local shop was actually curious after I told him about the dealership and looked up how long the labor would have been, and labor should be less than an hour. So they over quoted labor, but since South Tacoma Mazda makes you agree to price before repair, you're overpaying.

Emmanuel was great! I brought my son to buy his 2nd car and he was very patient and explained everything to him. Ed in finance was great! He explained to my son about what he was signing and made sure he understood.

After going back and forth with this dealership and corp I was only refunded 300 out of $2000 I spent on unnecessary repairs that did not fix the issue. And that was not easy to get a refund for a defected part. I had to go to another dealership to fix the issue and had to pay for everything again. Aaron manager was not helpful and only referred to the corp and corp referred back to manager. Mechanics are not fully knowledgeable. Thanks Tacoma Mazda.

Nice service people. I like that you get a customized video of your car being inspected. After dealing with the parts person for the first time I would give the parts department 1 star. When I purchased my Mazda the sales person told me they would replace the key fob battery for free. I have never had to pay for a battery in 3 years . But in early February I went to the parts department for a new battery I was charged for it. I asked him why was I being charged this time and he blew me off and looked at me like I was lying. I could clearly tell he was angry at me. I emailed the dealership for clarification but they never responded. Never believe the lies of someone trying to sell you a car.

Went in for a recall and had parts missing after. When I asked for them to be replaced I was told they hadn't been there to start with and I was lying. Went down and showed photo evidence that the parts had been on there before I had come in cause I took a photo in the parking lot before had. The missing parts did get replaced but would have been better to hear our bad about that let's make it right instead of your lying. Always take photo evidence before drop off.

I had an appointment at 9:00 a.m. I waited 2 hours and they hadn't even inspected it that they would review it until 1:30 p.m., so why make you wait so long and schedule an appointment at 9:00 a.m. This place only makes you lose time

Tacoma Mazda inspires confidence that your vehicle will be taken care of by a professional caring team. Louie was welcoming and a great communicator at all steps in the process. Although the 90K service is a set fee, he adjusted it down for services recently completed. When does that ever happen? A video is supplied by text with narrative of everything touched and viewed in the undercarriage and under the hood of the vehicle. He also capably handled a call after I got home to resolve a question. What a great experience.

Ever since I purchased my Mazda, they have done nothing short of take marvelous care of me and my car! Of course being a dealership they charge a lil more but, for the ease I have for knowing I'm in good hands. It's worth it!

I've been taking my '08 CX7 here for service since I bought it in 2010. I feel that I can trust them, which is huge. Besides regular oil changes I've had it repaired twice. Both times I called other shops for quotes and they were the same. They wash and vacuum with the oil change. Their waiting room is stocked with snacks and drinks! I love my Mazda and South Tacoma Mazda!

I had a very interesting experience with Mazda, but it all ended well. They are very accommodating while your vehicle is being serviced. I purchased a vehicle thru them not branded a Mazda. I would definitely by a Mazda from this location. Thanks Colton!
