This shop more than exceeded our expectations!! We re relatively new to WA state and so we are still discovering places to go for any needs. Our car was hit in a parking lot and the driver s insurance company (thanks to the driver for being responsible enough to hold themselves accountable for damages) was the one who assigned Pacific Motor CO. I was a bit apprehensive since I didn t have much of a choice in the shop but was put at ease almost immediately when I got that first call. The ladies at reception are so professional and friendly. Tyler was also great! Everything was great and everyone was amazing. The text updates really helped paint a picture of when to expect the car back. Dropping off the car was easy, and they coordinated with the local Enterprise for the rental. Enterprise came to pick us up within 5 minutes of arriving at the shop. Pickup was also so smooth and we were able to leave the rental there. Had the car back in less than two weeks and it looks as if nothing happened!! Before and after photos below. If I could give you 100 stars out of 10 I would.

Pacific motor company is the worst bodyshop I had worked with. I sent my car in for fixing scratches on the rear panel near the wheel , dint on the door, and a few minor cracks. When I picked up the car, there were 200 miles added to my car for no reason. Also, they installed the camera up side down, which mess up the camera system and caused the rear camera to completely mal-functioned. I called the shop and they said they will at least reimburse me if i take my car to BMW and see if anything goes wrong with the side camera. I took it to BMW for inspection, and the inspection cost me $275, which the bodyshop claimed they will reimburse and yet i haven't received any check / refund. The BMW fix the side camera for me at no cost, but for the rear camera, it costs me $2000 to get it fixed. I called body shop and they said they are not going to pay for it. They clearly touched the camera system as well as gets the scratch on the rear wheel panel fixed, yet they tried to shave off their responsibility.I would not recommend this body shop if you cherish your car. If you don't care mechanics driving your luxury car around to show off / don't care about the quality of the repair, please go under your own discretion.0 / 5 star. BBB claim filed.

Very pleasant experience from when I first stepped into the office to when I left with my car. The ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful. And had organized a loan car with Enterprise for the day I dropped my car off. They ordered the parts and whilst fitting found another problem with the sensors. They called and kept me updated with timings the whole time they had my car and so I was never wondering what was happening. At pick up I left my loan car there and got a summary from Tyler who was super helpful and answered my questions. I just hopped back in my car. They dealt with the loan car pick up. Super simple and straightforward and wasn't stressful at all. 10 out of 10 .

Above and beyond service! They're a collision shop, to be clear, but came here because it was closest to my hotel while on the road and getting a mystery screeching sound from under my car. At first they recommended a tire shop since it seemed to be a brake issue, but still ultimately found the problem and fixed it. Didn't even charge me! Highly recommended, though you'd be best served calling ahead and arriving early in the morning. Busy as you'd expect a good operation to be.

I ve had a terrible experience with this company. My Hyundai Sonata was stolen in September of last year and I brought it to the shop because it was the only one that didn t have a three month delay. Now I know why they were able to get my car in so quickly! My car was recovered with steering column damage and the ignition torn apart by the thieves. I got my car back after two weeks and about two weeks later a knocking sound started happening in the steering wheel and the steering wheel felt a little bit loose so I took the car back. They ended up telling me that it s not covered under my insurance because it was a bad steering wheel coupler and that s just normal wear and tear for a 10-year-old car. I asked them how that could be since I have never had issues and a steering column being loose and knocking is not normal wear and tear. They treated me like the dumb girl who knows nothing about cars, which I do. I know a lot about cars. They then told me that I needed to get it taken care of at a dealership and insisted it was normal wear and tear that was not part of the theft, and that it wouldn t be covered. I ended up taking my car to the dealership only to be told it was gonna be $800 to fix the steering column coupler, which, according to Pacific motor is like a $20 part and the labor is intensive because they have to take the steering wheel apart to get to the bad piece which was fine. I ended up taking it to a different automotive place who was super helpful, but did a diagnosis and said that the entire steering column needed to be replaced. I called Pacific motor company back only to be told that I needed to get a second opinion like it was no big deal that here I am plunking down $200 to have my car diagnosed and Paul I don t know if he s the manager continued to say that the damage was not due to the theft of my vehicle and insisted that it was normal wear and tear. Fortunately, my insurance is looking deeper into it. When I asked Paul exactly what they did to my car, he said that they just replaced some plastic parts , nothing that was actually deep in the steering column, which was where the damage was so it made no sense. They re bad!

I have used Pacific Motors now for the 3rd time. They know what they're doing, and they do good work. They are trustworthy and stand behind their work. The team here was wonderful and communicative. I received regular updates on the status. The repair to my car was seamless and the work was top notch. They even handled coordinating the rental car with the insurance company.

Last month, I had a car accident that left my Lexus in a bad shape. Fortunately, I was insured, and when I contacted my insurance, they recommended Pacific Motor Company in Tacoma. Ed Honeycutt handled the repairs, and I must say the entire staff, including the friendly front desk ladies, was amazing. Ed did an exceptional job, and now my car looks as good as new. Huge thanks to Pacific Motor Company and Ed Honeycutt for their excellent service.

I highly recommend this company! I was ht by another car and went through insurance to get it taken care of. There were delays to the repairs due to external factors but the gals who answered the phone and my project manager Ethan were all very kind, kept my well informed, and even got me a second appointment when my alignment was still a little off. Thanks guys!!

Don t bring European cars here. They had my Volkswagen in for a repair 3 months ago and I am still dealing with a persistent issue that was present from the moment I picked it up at their shop and shows they still didn t fully repair the car after the accident. Dealing with other shops and insurance companies as a result for many weeks and an unsafe car.They did not want to take responsibility for it despite being the first and last shop to finish repairs on the car, they blamed Eagle Tire. And Eagle Tire blamed them saying they changed a front right tire. Yet my insurance company says no tires were replaced. So one of those two shops PMC or Eagle Tire is lying. Luckily I have recorded and documented the persistent issue from the moment I picked it up at PMC and Eagle Tires subsequent attempts. We will find out soon which one of these shops is blatantly lying to my insurance company and unable to fully repair cars.

Took my 2023 Forte in for an initial estimate in July for damage to the front driver side area after I was sideswiped. Bob said he'd make it like new again. Was scheduled for repair in late August.Intially picked up my vehicle after a few weeks for paint and repair. Noticed that there were still deep scratches in the immediate area of impact that were missed during paint which prompted a rework. Tyler was helpful in assisting.Rework was completed about a week and a half later. Picked up my vehicle again to see primer paint marks on the rubber trim of my driver door window on the exterior and interior. These still exist even after multiple washes/wipedowns. It also seems that they took it for a wash and wiped my doors with a brush of some kind, leaving a bunch of swirl marks in the paint.I was disappointed to have to drop off my vehicle again for rework. After I saw the primer marks permanently discolored the black trim surrounding the window, and the swirl marks, I lost all confidence in this shop and decided to cut my losses to prevent any further damage.I do realize it is a body shop and not a detail shop. However, the attention to detail was definitely lacking. It was a slap in the face for me to be told my vehicle would look new again, just for it to be left off in a worse condition - not once but twice.

BEWARE!!! We took our 2010 Toyota Prius to this shop last month. When the vehicle was picked back up we drove it 25 minutes back home to Gig Harbor. About 48 hours later our vehicle was stolen from our parking spot at our apartment. After 4 days the police located the vehicle back in Tacoma about 200 yards from the shop parked with an apple AirTag wired into the brand new part. The woman found in the vehicle lived in the free housing building right there. I don t know for sure what happened but the manager did inform me at one point the vehicle left the property and went to another shop which is not something we ever agreed to or were notified of. I m assuming either this shop or the one they sent it to left it in an unsecured area where it was then tagged with the tracking device.

We had a great experience the first time using the shop, so we decided to come back the second time with another car. For some reason, the shop keeps on delaying pickup for over one weeks. Every time we called to get updates, our reply was always the same, either it s almost ready and we can call back later or they ll give us a call. It s been in the shop for over one months now and we still haven t received a certain answer for when it s ready for pickup.Service: Body & Trim

Only shop I will bringing my car in going forward. Got my car in to the shop within a two weeks of calling as all other shops were full. Did a very thorough job and fixed everything that needed to be fixed internally and externally. Will definitely be back again for the future

Wow wow! EVERYONE who works here is so incredibly friendly, ready to answer ALL your questions (I was new to this whole process) and just overall amazing.The work they did was quick and looks amazing. I had been rear ended and they fixed the entire back lift gate and washed my car. Like my car looks like brand new baby!Thanks so much I will always recommend this place

The staff are what make this place stand apart from the rest. Everyone is really helpful and friendly and genuine. They all seem to enjoy the work they do and are happy to be there and to help their customers. I needed both right side passenger doors replaced and some other body work associated with an accident. They replace the doors, fixed everything else, painted ....it looks brand new. The paint is flawless and the color matches exactly. It took a min 5-6 weeks I think but went really well couldn't be happier. A lifetime warranty is included with the work they do. I wish they had parking available more than street but I wasnt there long anyways.

I have now used Pacific Motors Co. 3 times for body work repairs. They are Professional, Courteous, & ensure that you understand the process (even if it's the 3rd time). The Estimator, Tyler was through with the inspection of my vehicle & caught damage I did not notice. Diane, who runs the front office, is very knowledgeable and friendly. I actually dropped the vehicle off early due to my leaving for vacation and Tyler & Diane assured me it would be ready after Memorial Day weekend which it was. Great staff and great service! I had my Toyota Corolla 2016 repaired there through Progressive Insurance. The service had taken longer than initially estimated but that was all understandable due to the supply chain issue. As they mentioned, the parts did not arrive in time. Overall I m satisfied with the service. Shortly after I picked it up, I realized one of the the tail lights was not working. I took it back to the shop and they happily fixed it in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend it.Service: Body & Trim
