Huge shoutout to James and the crew there today. After some technical difficulties with scheduling, James was still able to fit me in later in the day. He also personally took me back and showed me what else needed to get done, which for someone who isn t really knowledgeable about cars was really helpful. Everyone was super friendly with great conversations while I waited around for my car. Highly recommend!!

James and the crew are great! Gave me honest and reasonable recommendations for my Honda. They were able to work on my car right away, and worked quickly. I especially appreciate them taking photos and taking the time to explain things in detail to me. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to Meineke for the past 7 years, and have never once considered switching. James and the team are helpful, kind, responsive, and dependable. Recently, my battery died (which they had installed for me under 2 years before). James called the battery manufacturer for me and had them honor my warrantee, and didn't even charge me for labor! I just dropped off my car and the next day picked it up, very easy. It's always a pleasant experience working with them, and you always know they value their customers. This is the place I recommend to all of my friends, and I recommend it to you, too!

Professional courtesy friendly they are honest no replacing parts if it's not necessary, they provide pictures of your car before service and explain in details what needs to be fixed and why. I like the color code: Green good, Yellow need future attention and Red need immediate attention.Also no pressure to fix no sales pitch, you decide when to take care of any problems.And last they will work with you on the cost of any repairs.

The people here were really helpful and fantastic problem solvers that got my car fixed within an hour. James at the desk was so friendly and helped my fix feel very approachable and Danny got my car back in good shape. Especially as a young woman I will be choosing the again!

This Meineke is under new (former) management, and they did an incredible job! I brought my car in because the a/c wasn't working - they were able to get it looked over, diagnosed, and fixed long before the time estimate provided. The service was seamless, they were able to explain what was wrong and what they did to fix it, and now I'm all set for some freezing a/c this summer. No trying to upsell, they just dealt with what I needed done. 10/10, I couldn't recommend more highly. Thanks James and Dell!

James is very knowledgeable and will be straight up with you on what your car absolutely needs and what things can wait for the future! I came in with a certain budget and the team was able to change out spark plugs, torque clean up, and changed out my drive belt! This was work I could ve done at home, but I trusted the team and they did a great job! Thanks Meineke Tacoma!

I came into the shop urgently needing help with my work van. James put my mind at ease by letting me know that they could get to it right away. Knowing that I would be able to drive my vehicle away in a couple hours, put my mind at ease. The detailed inspection report was really nice because I can address things before they go need to be repaired. The technician kept me informed throughout the process. Thank you!

I went here to get an Uber/Lyft inspection for Seattle. The guys were really nice and really accommodating. They even did a walk-around Of my car, and they caught something that would've failed the inspection and didn't charge me for it. Really nice, really reasonable. Whenever I get that dent fixed, I'm going back to them to complete the inspection.

I'd give 10 ********** if I could. I got free towing & diagnostic check with the them completing the work.I definitely had an angel on my shoulder on this 1 folks.... Car wouldn't start & I wondered Y???Timing belt(broke) & serpentine belt jumped, water pump, oil low, dead battery, broken front CV axle & seal, tune-up & engine flush! Fixed in less than 36 hours from tow truck hook up to driving away again. U GUYS ROCK Mr. D. Garcia & Mr. James Nash!!!!!Plus a 12 month warranty.

Great customer service! Scheduled appt to have my alternator, battery and belt replaced. They were fast, friendly and very customer oriented. James went above and beyond helping me out and I would definitely recommend seeing him for any vehicles needs. Thanks!

I have to say that this repair shop is absolutely amazing. I had gone to two other shops (after I pulled my codes) and they said I need tons of extra work. I'm on disability and I didn't have extra for extra work. At Meineke location James, the manager, not only showed me the pictures of all the things I needed he explained what was most important (safety). I was able to get the correct repairs with in my budget! I respect their honesty and work ethic and will definitely return to get the other repairs/ maintenance done!!

JAMES helped me out today I came in for a break check. We learned there were more issues. He simplified and explain the problems and the severity. I was well taken care of and they sent me references and connection to get new tires. I will becoming back . And would recommend.

I cannot say enough for this car care center. James was absolutely an angel. He was so helpful,kind, professional, caring and understanding. I arrived here shortly after being lied to and rudely turned away from Jiffy Lube just up the street after a half hour wait. James had 2 mechanics who were so nice,pleasant and also professional. So greatful to have found all of them. I had only an oil change done and my car drives like a dream. I will be back. Mr. Meineke, you should be damm proud to have all these gentleman working for you. Thank you.

First time I went to Meineke on 3024 6th street in Tacoma was to get a vehicle inspection in order to obtain a TNC permit. I got a copy of the inspection and expected Meineke to send a copy to King County so I can receive my Country permit. However, they failed to do so. I kept getting reminders from Ride Share I signed up for to upload the "Correct Seattle For Hire Permit". So I contacted Meineke. They informed me that all I need is to come by for a quick visual inspection and they would file the inspection report electronically.I came by and to my surprise, it was a whole different story. The employee was not only rude but also kept making the same "wrong" statement-->Give me a copy of the inspection and I'll copy it and email it to the city of Seattle. I informed him that this will Not work and that he needed to fill out the online form required by the city. After nearly 15 mins of discussion, he told me that he doesn't know how to file the form! I said it was fine. He just needs to have the "certified mechanic" perform the inspection and file the paper report then the store manager would file it electronically! He didn't like the idea and went back to asking me for the original inspection paper so he can email it! I made it clear that no email would work since the city does Not offer an email address to send it to! He became more agitated and stormed out of the front office.A few minutes later, I heard him yelling in the back while talking to others. 10 minutes later, the "certified mechanic" came to tell me he won't be able to do it and that I would have to come another time! I took 1/2 day off work and drove 1+ hours to make it to the store. Just to be told to come back again for absolutely no reason!

The Meineke on 6th at 3024 6th Ave. Are Liars and Thieves they try to say I need it breaks and I didn't and when I asked how much it break job would cost they quoted me $1500. I left and went to two other places who said I didn't need a break job, but if I did it would be only $500 for the same break job. The Meineke guys are misleading and I know better so I went somewhere else. So anybody has any family members planning on going there i would tell them not to .These guys will take them for all they got, stay away from him. They're bad news buyer beware. Ken

I had been at Meineke a few times in the past. But this time under new management (James), I was impressed with service and the crew where fast and thorough. I received texts on the spot regarding my vehicle and all the work that Will be needed. I will be back. Great atmosphere. The only bad thing was ultimately how much everything is going to cost me. Lol

Free inspection sent via email & text. Repairs are quick and scheduling an appointment can be convenient sometimes same day. Also has 3rd party financing availability if funds are low.

I stopped by to get an oil change without prior knowledge of this business but I will be back! I like the idea where they can send you text and pictures they had done to your car and things that needs to be fix and amounts of materials and labor. I am a happy , satisfied customer and surely i recommend Meineke 6th Ave Tacoma over all.James and crew !!! Salute!!Service: Oil change
