Recently got my new car here! Great service from Joey, who was one of the most reassuring car salesmen I've ever worked with, and Joseph the finance manager, who answered all my many questions with patience and expertise. Hopefully I don't need another car anytime soon, but happy to come back here when the time comes.

Shop put a deep cut in my brand new leather steering wheel while my car was in for its very first service. Sales manager told me they would fix it. Come to find out that means spray paint the steering wheel black to hide the damage. It looked BAD. Manager agreed and said the repaid didn't turn out and they would do it again. This time they repainted the whole steering wheel and ended up getting overspray all over the dashboard. It looked even worse. I demanded a new steering wheel. The manager actually started to laugh and said do you know how much that costs, your not getting a new one. I told him I was going to escalate my issue up the chain and reach out to Hyundai Cooperate. Again he laughed and said they wont do anything for me and I should accept the fix that was given to me. He was right, no one cared.

We bought a car with them. For a 2019 Mazda cx5 we are walking away paying 41k that s just our loan not our interest hahaha. So definitely don t go. Also considering the air filter was put on upside down and literally break checked us on the highway. Not to mention they just changed the oil and didn t care to tell us our car was ready. Second day in a row we called to see if it was done.

Good experience with their Parts Department. Needed parts for an Oil Service on my Kia. The Parts Advisor was friendly and she seemed to know her stuff. They had a few nice cars on the Showroom Floor too.. will definitely use their Parts Department again...

WARNING!!! Do not purchase at this dealership! One star is generous! Aside from all of the B.S. sales tactics I put up with in the purchase of my truck and them wanting me to drive it off the lot on an empty tank, the first day it is parked in my newly poured driveway it is leaking oil! There is no way that the dealership didn't know this leaked oil! If you want to buy from a dealership you can trust...Pass this one up and do not buy from them. This is going to be a long battle that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Lemon dealerships like this should be held accountable.

Larson did a great job repairing my little 2017 Elantra after it had been stolen and partially destroyed. Taylor, in the service department, is second to none in customer service - she was so helpful and if she said she would call me, she called me! She made the whole "get your car stolen, get your car back when the police find it, discover all the damage done by the jerks who stole your car, wait 4 months to get your car into a shop, wait another 4 months for your car to be repaired (backordered parts), finally get your car back" ordeal a little more tolerable.

2nd Edit: I'm now post oil change and wanted to add that the service manager was very helpful, kind, and courteous. Great customer service. They were able to get me in before my maintenance package window and great with email correspondence. I had my 2 young sons with me and the manager and his staff were very kind to me and the boys when checking in and coming back to pick up the car. The original issue with scheduling aside the service and staff were greatEdited to add another star: I'm editing my review even though what I stated is true. I reached out to the service manager via email and was very impressed with their response and ability to help me with the situation. So I'm adding a star for their customer service and problem resolution.The service I received is fine and they test my car well but I have been trying to schedule my 2nd oil change for over 2 weeks. The phone number they have on Google, on their website, and in the contact us section for service isn't correct apparently. It rings and sends you to the Larson press 1 for service department and voice-mail. I've left messages and eventually just drove by to go in and was told by the employee that isn't their number. Now I've wasted over 2 weeks and couldn't get an appointment until the end of next month. Very annoying situation, I emailed and am waiting on a response. Trying to schedule oil changes within your mileage window of the complimentary maintance package is very complicated, I almost want to schedule my next oil change when I pick up my car from the current one. Its the only way not to have to wait months when scheduling.

I stopped coming to Tacoma because of the long wait in the past but things have definitely changed!!!My service was amazing here. Special shout out to Ms. Jax. I had a flat tire and she was able to squeeze me in the same day. I unfortunately had to leave because of an emergency with my daughter and she rescheduled me for a time I could make it. I purchased my first car here today and I was helped by Joey Coleman. As apprehensive as I was going into a dealership to buy my first car, I was put at ease with Joey s help. He was 100% transparent with me. As a customer, I realize that selling you on something is absolutely their job, but he made sure I was completely happy and comfortable with my decision. In no way did I feel overwhelmed with a typical salesman s tactics. He was personable and very funny. I didn t feel at all rushed and was extremely patient with me. I walked out today feeling great in how I was treated as a customer and the accommodations they provided me. Highly recommend seeing them if you are interested in buying (and ask for Joey Coleman. He won t let you down)

This team did an amazing job. My pedal assembly went out (no longer able to accelerate) and they were able to fit me in within 48 hours and complete the repair within 8 hours after the part arrived despite their normal appointments being booked out for nearly a month. In particular, Vanessa in the service department did an incredible job of keeping me updated on the progress of my vehicle. Her customer oriented focus shined brightest as she managed to effectively listen and answer questions, while dealing with a high number of customers before and after me.

Had such a great experience purchasing a new vehicle. Rachel helped us through the whole process. Would definitely seek her out again for our future purchases. Rachel is super friendly and has so much patience. She didn t rush us to purchase seemed like she really wanted to meet all of our needs and continues to follow up with us!! I was welcomed when I arrived: I was given a time of 2 hours to complete my service: I was given updates on my vehicle: My vehicle was washed and delivered to me: The service was completed on time and this was by far my best experience in the 4 years I've been coming to Larsons Hyundai: Jax is excellent and I hope you have others who are as consistent, knowledgeable and caring as she was. Larson Hyundai was very helpful with my service needs for my car. They did and oil change, tire rotation and fixed the scratch on my car with ease. I shopped around for a scratch fix for my car for a while and Larson Hyundai had the best price. Thank goodness for good management! Michael Niles the General Manager knows good customer service. I was having some minor issues that needed to be resolved in a very short time frame that got resolved very fast and professionally thanks to him. Thankful my dealership has such a great management running that place. Also worth mentioning Mike (the sales manager) is very professional and also deserves 5 starts, made this stressful experience better. Good customer service is always appreciated.

We took our 2017 sonata in for the anti-theft software installation and the trunk latch recall. Taylor was a pleasure to work with. She explained how the anti-theft device works to us which put us more at ease being these cars are popular for being stolen. Thank You Taylor. Keep up the good work

I drive a 2019 Hyundai Tucson. When it came down to getting service for my vehicle which I had recently purchased, there are a couple of individuals who stepped up and went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I went to this location to get my Hyundai Sonata serviced for 6 years or so. I have stopped going there after my car's warranty expired because the service has been inconsistent and unreliable.It's hard to schedule appointments online, as I have been told that the system doesn't communicate with the team, so it's best to call in. When I call and leave messages, they don't call back.When I call to reschedule and I am told I will get a call back, I never do. When my car is in the shop, there have been times where I don't get any calls about when I can pick up my car.The service is so unreliable to me in fact, that my next car will unfortunately NOT be a Sonata. Living in Tacoma, I only have them as my service option, or I would have to go to other cities like Puyallup, Olympia, or Renton. It's a shame as I really like Sonatas and was hoping to get another one in a year or two.So there is a quantifiable measure of my dissatisfaction for them; about $27,950, the price of a new Sonata.It's a shame too, because the work that the mechanics do is good and reliable.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tire rotations, Brakes, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Went in to make appointment. Service Department handed a business card. Told me to call and make one. After they worked on it. When I picked up truck. Asked where it was parked. Told to walk around the lot until I found it. Great customer service.

To be up front, we purchased our Hyundai from another dealership, but we had a flat tire on our brand new vehicle. Larson was the only dealership with the tire in stock, a dealer exclusive.I know its the holidays and service department is extremely busy but it is a simple tire change 20 min max, tire was all ready off the vehicle and brought in to them. We had also purchased the warranty that covered wheels and tires. My wife drvies 50 miles to work with our three children so funning on a donut for more than a day is not something I would suggest for anyone, on top of that 50MPH on I-5 that isnt safe for anyone even the blue hairs that do it standard.So after taking off work bringing the tire in as the service manager requested, she flat refuses to assist in any way, and tells me that my wife was lying and the service department does not handle this. I made a request that they call the and authorize the claim for the warranty so at least the tire was paid for and I would have it mounted and balanced some where else since they are to busy to assist. NOPE not her job either and flat refused, service writers don't handle warranty stuff.The problem is that I am in the insurance industry and have been in vehicle sales. That is absolutely an aspect of her job, and when asking her who does handle that, she doesn't know, because it was her.In short I have never been so absolutely turned off from a brand by one individuals actions. I have been impressed with my wife's vehicle and was looking into a Hyundai for myself, Larson had the vehicle I was looking for but no way I would ever purchase from them, and gives me reservations about a Hyundai in general.Service: Tires

I purchased a new vehicle from Larson Hyundai. It s actually the second vehicle I have purchased from them. It s a great dealership. No hassle. No pressure. It was easy to get financed.If you re looking for a new vehicle ask for Erik Martinson. We emailed and texted back and forth about vehicles for a few days before I went in. He was very knowledgeable and prompt in getting back to me. He was very helpful and never made me feel pressured. He made me feel good about my purchase. He also took the time to help me pair my phone and go through the vehicle and show me all of the features before I drove off.Daniel in the financing department was great. Good attitude. Good sense of humor. Didn t pressure us into buying a bunch of extras at financing. I ll have to say this was my best car buying experience! Keep up the good work, Team Larson!

Unbelievable. I will never come back here. I bought my car at the Larson Hyundai dealership brand new in 2019. Right after I got the car, I noticed it was leaking water and dripping out of the sunglasses holder. When I brought my car in, they said they could not duplicate the issue, and blamed it on condensation. It happened again. I brought it in again. They changed the seal in the sunroof. The next time it rains, it leaked again. Each time, I had cup holders full of water and water all over the center console. I don't understand how they completely dismissed the issue the first time I brought it in. The first few times I brought it in for this, they gave me a loaner car, as expected, but they only wrote the paperwork for me to have it for one day at a time, and each time, they hadn't multiple days, so I had to go back to the dealership every day for them to write me new paperwork to have the loaner car longer because they still were not done with my car. That was so frustrating. When I brought my car in for an oil change earlier this year, they replaced a tire, and ever since they replaced that tire, my car had been pulling to the right. It definitely didn't do it before that. I just took my car in for the 15k mile service. I scheduled that online, and it suggested that service, and it said it was $130. I just picked up my car, and they charged me over $500 for that 15k mile service, with no heads up. I had no reason to think that the price on the website when you book an appointment is inaccurate. Also, the last couple of times I've taken it in, they don't offer you a loaner car even though they keep the car all day, so I have to deal with them ordering me a Lyft to and from home to get my car worked on here. There are always complications with the lift drive order, so this time I had to wait close to an hour for a Lyft driver to pick me up so that I could go pick up my car, only to find out that they were charging me over three times what I expected based on the cost when I booked the appointment. Do not buy a car here. Do not have your car serviced here.

As a first time buyer I had a pretty good experience here. Just want to give 2 big shout outs to Mike Alvarez & Daniel VanWagner. These 2 made my process of getting my first car much more comfortable than I had originally thought it was going to be. Thank you guys so much. The only downside about my experience was my car not being filled with gas & not being washed before I left the lot. But, those were very small things that did not bother me at the end of the day. If you are looking to buy a car, look for Mike or Daniel here & I am sure they would be happy to help!

I bought my 2020 santa fe from them brand new, it was good customer service back in january. so last thursday, i called to schedule an appointment. i was told the service dept. is currently busy and backlogged and will get a call back to schedule my 10k miles appointment. well come tuesday, i called again to try and schedule my appointment, they once again said they are busy and they will call me back. just to schedule a freakin appointment!! i know all businesses are dealing with staffing shortages and what not, but this is terrible customer service. it should not take over a week and a half to just pencil me in and schedule my appointment. if this keeps up much longer i will need to trade my vehicle in. i love my santa fe, but i also paid for the customer service which i havent received.

My check engine light came on back in the end of May on a 1 year old car. Had to schedule 5 weeks in advance to get an appt then after they fixed it a week later my check engine light came on again. I ve called 3x since and was told a manager would reach out, they never did & then I even left a voicemail & still no call back. Had a terrible experience with the sales team here & now I can t even get my concerns addressed with service.

Purchased a new car, Erik was super friendly and helpful. Buying a car is always going to take a while but Erik certainly made it much less stressful and was very reasonable. We were a bit worried about making the hour drive from Seattle to Tacoma but it was absolutely worth the travel time. We got a very fair deal on a new 2021 Kona and a more than fair deal on our trade-in. I would definitely recommend Erik to anyone looking to purchase a car.

I showed up to Larson Hyundai with my mother looking for a pickup truck. When my mother and I walked into Larson Hyundai Rachelle had just walked out of an office, she smiled and asked how she could help us. Rachelle helped us find the truck I wanted. We test drove the truck and decided to get it. Everyone we worked with was very professional and fun to be around. I look forward to our next visit. Have a nice day :)
