The employees there are amazing. My truck got fixed quickly and looks brand new. Austin was great about keeping me informed on all the progress. He is one of a kind, they are lucky to have such a dedicated employee. I would recommend them instantly to anyone.

At first I got there and the gentleman helped me. Was courteous, nice and informative. Saying it could be months before he could get part for my car. He said he had a car there for 4 months made from the same make. I was like wow ok. Maybe I need to get a used car cuz my wife and I can't be using one car for 4 months and he could keep my car there. Keep in mind I've gone to 2 other body shops. Either the price was too high or can't do it. Anyways, A week later since carstar hasn't told me a time line. I went to a 4th shop in Puyallup. They took my car the same day. They also looked up parts and said we can have it here in 3 days. What! Amazing. They told me they will talk to insurance and do all the leg work. What a difference. Come on carstar it's been 2 weeks now I don't have a car waiting for your response. I called the office back and the front desk lady couldn't help me with what was going on with the estimate and time line. So unorganized. I really wanted to believe these guys were the real deal, but nope

i feel the work took twice as long as I was told it would take. I was paying for my rental car and that cost turned out to be enormous because of the time it had to have it. The body work on the car appears to be as good as the original. The car only had a few slight scratches to be repaired.

The work was good and clean. The repair took a long time, but only because of the time to get parts ordered and in. Not there fault so hopefully people can understand if it takes a while. The only thing I found wrong was old inner fender liner was left in the back of the vehicle, but I guess I can toss that myself no biggie.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I called so many other shops and every single one was incredibly busy with the car break in situation that s going on in the area. I loved that they had a specific procedure for dealing with the repairs of cars that had gotten broken into aside from normal car repairs. On top of everything I not only received my car back in a timely manner , given how busy they are but they also had cleaned the inside of my car. I didn t expect my carpets to be vacuumed and everything else wiped down. That little extra makes a big difference in my eyes .

Had some damage on my truck. Dent and paint work needed. They fixed it and looks great again. No issues with the work. Very friendly people, easy to talk to, and made sure I was happy with their work. I'll use them again, if needed. It took over 3 months for the body work on our van to be completed. Back left corner/bumper/tail light. Updates regarding our vehicle never happened until we called and requested info. When we got the vehicle back it was filthy, smelled terrible and was filled with broken glass all over the back half of the car - must have been from when they took the window out I guess but seemed like such a ridiculous choice for them to give it back to us in this condition. Chose this shop as they work directly with my insurance. My car was stolen last year and was recovered but needed repairs. Had issues getting info from CarStar about when my car would be done getting fixed. I called several times and they just said someone would call me back but no one ever did. Finally got Amanda who was very helpful and communicative. I was told the person who kept promising a call back was no longer employed there. Anyway, finally got my car back at the very last minute before insurance stopped helping to pay for a rental. Amanda said there was one part (a piece for my driver's seat that adjusts height of the seat) that was on back order but they didn't want to hold up my car. As soon as the part came in they would call me so i could bring the car back and they would install it, in and out. 3 MONTHS later (January 2023) I called because I never heard a thing. Got Amanda again and she said something about the shop getting bought out by another company and all their part orders were canceled? Ok, so now what? She checked on it and called me back. Said great news, the part is available and would be there in 7 days, they would call me when it got there. Here we are another 2 MONTHS later, no call. I called again and was told oh sorry, there are lots of parts on a 6 to 8 month back order. What happened to 7 days? What happened to calling your customer and telling them that oh sorry, I know we said 7 days but it's going to be a year after we repaired your car? I find it really hard to believe anything they say anymore. Pretty sure I could buy an entire new seat from pull a part as many Kia's that are stolen and trashed around here. But this was supposed to be taken care of by the repair shop!

Carstar was so great to me. They communicated with my insurance company in regards to the damages. They gave me a ride to pick up my rental car. Absolutely LOVE the job that Hi-Tech Carstar on 6th did on my car. Great job! They even went the extra mile and popped out a dent for me which had happened from a hit and run on I-5, free of charge. Honestly, I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the time it took to complete. They had my car for OVER a month. One delay after the other for various reasons, mainly waiting on Geico, the insurance company of the guy that hit me, and parts. Customer service was always amazing. They forgot to put a light bulb in my tail light and actually took the time to come to the house, pick up my car, drive it back to the shop and replace the bulb. Then drove it back to the house for me within an hour! That is amazing. They care about the quality of their finished work...that personal care means a lot to ME! All in all, I am very pleased with the job that they did on my car. I would highly recomend them and would use them again in the future. This is a highly professional team that made me feel comfortable and confident from our first interaction to the day I picked up our repaired vehicle. They kept me updated on the progress and stages of the repair process through regular texts so that I knew exactly what they were working on and when it would be finished. Worst body shop ever! Constantly telling me they would have my car done by end of January and that my parts would be in and they have my parts sitting and still won t bring my car in. They make promises that they can t keep. Got cussed out by Brett and Amanda constantly gives empty promises. Insurance just needs my car brought in and torn apart and they won t bring it it. Making me wait a month and a half to get an answer on if it s totaled or not. Than telling me to leave my key in the car so State Farm and tow it in but have a Kia and is asking for my car to get stolen. I hate this body shop and would never use them again.

They didn't return my rental on the day I got my truck back, causing Enterprise Rental Company on Market St. In Tacoma, to keep my $100 deposit for 6 days now. When I went in to demand my money back today.. instead of refunding my money.. Enterprise charged my card ANOTHER $100, overdrafting my card.. now I have no money for Christmas gifts or a tree or for the Concert I'm supposed to go to tonight & I'm out of Dog Food, which is what I was trying to buy when my card was declined. & Enterprise expects me to call my Bank & get it straighened out. Current wait time for that is at least 40 minutes.. which I don't have today. If they would have returned the car last Friday like they should have, non of this would be happening. The repair done to my truck was to replace the bumper. The work is fine, I was appreciative of squeezing me in for an estimate.. but they didn't fix any of my running lights on the front Bumper where the damage was.. but made sure to fix my rear license plate light.Service: Body & Trim

They were extremely fast with fixing my car. I had dents, scratches and more after an accident and now my car looks brand new. They kept me updated everyday and called to let me know they were done early. Customer Service is on point. Everyone is friendly and courteous. I noticed a whistling sound when I started driving and called to see if they could check it out. They brought me in same day, got someone in my car to hear what I was hearing and figured it out. It was no problem getting my questions and concerns taken care of. I would definitely recommend them. The prices were decent too.

Repair was done perfectly and completed an entire day earlier than estimated. They provided text updates keeping me in the loop n progress. I ve believe this is the second time I ve been to this Carstar location (having previously gone to the one in Parkland when I lived there) and have always found the staff at both incredibly helpful and professional.Most recently I had a piece of my car s undercarriage that had come out of place, which they had previously helped me with quite a while ago before. When I called I was told they were booked up for a quite a while out, but a window of time was found to squeeze me in within the week. The service was completed in a timely manner with an update on the progress that was easy to understand, and I was given a very fair price. My car sustained major damage in an accident. They were so kind and courteous in every interaction. They had my corvette for 6 months plus. Part of this was difficulty finding parts. When we picked the corvette up we noticed a scratch on the back deck lid that they tried to buff out. After we got home we noticed many more problems. The whole front bumper assembly is damaged, emblems were replaced and are off center, gaps on fenders are different from side to side and what looks like buff marks on the hood that should have been taken care of. Pat communicated through the whole process but on the whole did a very poor job. State Farm was worse. They drive business to this shop as their preferred provider. The insurance company made me feel that if I took it to the shop that I wanted to I would have to pay the difference. So I took it to their preferred provider. If you want your car repaired properly the body shop and insurance company will negotiate a fair repair bill. My corvette is now at the new shop and judging by the time they have taken to go through all repairs to correct it will be done right.

They did my mom's car's insurance work a few years ago and she went in there not too long ago because her car sunroof was leaking and they just fixed it forward they refuse to even take any money so they definitely deserve your attention if you are looking for a place that just cares.

I was recommended here by my insurance company. They provided updates throughout my repair so I was always up to date with what was happening. They were very professional and helpful and made it look like nobody ever even hit my car! Highly recommend!Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Got hit in the parking lot of Costco and our rear fender and rim was damaged from impact. Wetook our vehicle to Hi-Tech Carstar on 6th Ave. and they did body work and painting. They also checked on our vehicle's alignment to make sure no issues were there. They re-finished our rims and now the damage that WAS there ISN'T anymore. We can't even tell there was damage! Very professional and their customer service is AAA+++ tops!!! Thank you to the staff at Hi-Tech Carstar! Car Star did a collision repair estimate for our insurer, State Farm. They refused to provide information vital in deciding whether our car should be repaired or totaled. Making decisions about costly and complex repairs requires information and advice from a trusted repair professional. Car Star would not help us with necessary information, making our situation needlessly difficult and frustrating. I would not recommend their services.Service: Body & Trim
