David was great. My car randomly stopped turning on 4 days before an across country road trip. I originally took it to Bucky s for a quote. They told me I only needed a new starter and that they were going to charge me $1,285 after tax. So I called 8 different shops for quotes and most places were around that same price. I was starting to panic because it felt so expensive and it was such an unexpected expense. I finally found one place called Ball Auto. There price was 55% cheaper than Bucky s but the problem was that he couldn t fix the car in time for my trip due to understaffing at the moment. Luckily he was a great guy and recommended Expert Muffler and Auto Repair to me. I called them up and there price was 47% cheaper than my original quote from Bucky s and they they said they could fix it one day! I called Triple AAA and had them tow my car over to them but when I dropped off my car, I noticed the battery was dead in my car. The tow truck guy told me they must not have even checked my battery. So in the morning I called and had them check everything and they let me know I needed both. At this point I just needed my car to work so I was very appreciative of them truly checking everything for me and doing their due diligence. All in all, I got a new starter, a new battery and my tires rotated for $468 less than just a new starter would have cost me at Bucky s

Every time I've taken my car here, they have been, quick, thorough, and by far the best price. I have since moved out of Tacoma and to Kitsap county and will gladly drive out to EM for my mechanic needs!

Their isn't a better auto shop anywhere that I have found. This place is always busy but they still get your car fixed in a timely fashion! The prices are half of what everyone else charges and the work they do is better.

Had them work on 69 corvette, I definitely believe in there knowledge and skill for any and all vehicles, will continue to use them,matter of fact they are working on my 97 mini van had to be towed in.Mike kenyon

Good looking and quality work. Recommend getting exhaust in stainless material as initially installed brand new exhaust and pipe has completely rusted off (pipe fell off from muffler) after only 4 years.

Awesome place to get your car fix. Nice workers and get my car back in a good timeframe ( within a few hours). Been here the last 3 years and this is the 6th time I got one of my cars worked on (different issues).Highly recommended

I want to thank David and his team of mechanics for the amazing work they did on our car. If I would have taken our car to any other shop around it probably still wouldn't be fixed and other shops would have charged double the amount for the work. Thank you David for your fast and reliable work you did changing both front wheel bearings on our car. I'll Definitely be recommending this shop to anyone who needs work done on their cars. Thank you David and crew!!Just had rotors and brake pads changed today. Dealership said that calipers needed replacement too. David and crew took a look, without any service fee, and said the calipers were fine. Not only saved me money, but were quick and thorough and kept in touch about what was needed and was upfront and transparent about what was needed and what they did.If you're skeptical, at least talk to Expert Muffler and Auto Repair before committing to the dealership service department. You won't be disappointed.

My rear brakes were grinding a lot, so I took my car here after having a few people recommend the place and seeing so many great reviews. They replaced the rear brake shoes and resurfaced the drums, but it kept grinding so I brought it back and they said they would try resurfacing the drums some more. I got my car back a second time and it still grinds (although less), and now I've found out that there is still a lot of debris in the drums, which either means they didn't actually resurface it at all or they didn't follow the right process of cleaning it out. I had also happened to mention that my head gasket is bad, and they insisted it couldn't be bad because it wouldn't be drivable anymore, which is just untrue. I've known many people with varying degrees of bad gaskets, it depends on the kind of issue it has. They seem like nice people who try to figure out economical solutions for your car, but unfortunately my experience in particular wasn't so positive.Service: Brakes

I have had two vehicles towed to them, both I was able to pick up immediately. David is very knowledgeable at what he does he gets 10 . I always have a street mechanic but if it ever has to go to a shop this is the only place I would trust. Kevin the tow truck guy is friendly and comes in a timely manner.

I love this place. No frills just excellent work. David fixed my car that other's would charge 3 times the price. I have an exotic car and he is an expert. I trust David to do any type of work on my car. I highly recommend him to everyone. His auto repair shop is honest, quality, expertise, and affordable. Go here if you want your car fixed.

Saved me THOUSANDS of dollars from the dealer. Went in for check engine light and found I had a leak for my water pump and they only charged me a small penny to replace and fix then checked for any more problems before I came to pick up my car. Very grateful and thankful I found these guys just in time. My car still going smooth to this day. I came in with my new headers and midpipe touching my frame and heat shield. I had no idea what to expect but I wanted it to stop rattling. I left and was charged a price I was happy with and the rattle gone. 5 star because he quoted a price and we agreed then he dropped the price. I like that kind of stuff. Quoted me 80$ left paying 50$.

Really good mechanics and techs that work really fast! Don't let all the cars in the parking lot discourage you. They will start working on your car in a very timely manner. I've been going to him for over a decade and now send my daughter's cars to him as well. Dave is the man in charge and he's runs an honest establishment. The only thing I would change is the size of the lot. He definitely needs more space in my opinion because he's too popular and well known for conducting excellent business.

A million stars for this car shopI write reviews for GREAT people and shout out to Expert Muffler team for completing their work far above and beyond my expectation. Nissan diagnosed my car with exhaust failure and recommended me to wield the pipes, in combination with a muffler replacement at somewhere else since they don t have expert in house.It s ok, so I drove all the way to their recommendation shop, Austin Pro Max on S Pacific. They agreed to turnover my car by the end of the day but then call me and tell there is none available muffler in their shop fitting mine. So, I need to come back again and took my car home with disappointment. I visit 2 other shops but they told me to wait for part at least 2 weeks. I wanted to give my old Nissan buddy one last chance before buying a new car. I googled and picked the best review shop out of the list, dropped off my car at 8 in the morning with very little of hope and went to work. A mechanic named Hoang welcomed me in with comfort and reasureance that my car will be fine.At 9am, David called to let me know the quote is $100. Seriously? I repeated asking if there is any thing missing here. No body gave me that price after visiting 5 shops, all range is between $500 to $1000. I even never walked out of a car shop paying less than $300. This shocked me a lot. Picking up my car two hour is crazy fast and furious. If they would have asked me for a thousand dollars, I am willing to pay too as my car is now running perfectly. From bottom of my heart, I feel truly happy that ethical experts are still existed. They are true angel, who live their own admirable style within the life of economical greed.Service: Exhaust

This shop always has fair prices, and everyone I've spoken to has great integrity! Months back I was buying a car I came in for an inspection, and when that particular vehicle turned out to be in really, really bad shape they didn't charge me for their time. More recently I came to them for an oil change and brought the wrong filter along, and they not only got me the proper filter for my car but charged me less for the part than Auto Zone did. They've always been very kind and respectful, and I have no doubt continuing to work for them will be just as great in the future!

They do really clean and professional work for a good price. Their lot is always full because they do a lot of good work. Take your car here if you need something done, they will definitely take care of you at a reasonable price. David was also very helpful and the staff is knowledgeable.

I have taken my car to several other mechanic shops for my clutch peddle losing pressure and these guys have me a fast friendly service and my clutch is working better then it's ever have. Thank you for the great work and speedy service. I will be coming back for my automotive needs.
