Dodd's has always been honest and fair. I drive to Tacoma to support their business, even after moving to Puyallup. Quotes thorough and without surprises, they'll even tell you if the dealership shop has better part deals to take advantage of.

I had a terrible experience with Dodge auto furniture shop. They are dishonored and overprice. They were rude and unprofessional. It kept me waiting for hours. Did not answer my questions and ignore my complaints. They also tried to pressure me into buying unnecessary parts and service's they do not care about the customer cars.

We went to Dodd's for over a decade, sadly we've recently moved out of state. We absolutely had stellar, trustworthy service over the years and as our children grew up, they also have taken their cars to Dodd's. Even our kid who moved to eastern Washington made the trip over if she needed more than an oil change. This was my first time here, I brought my minivan in, and they didn't find anything wrong with it...and guess what?! They were HONEST and told me that nothing was wrong and didn't charge me for anything. I would definitely recommend them in the future.

I have two stories now of getting weird answers from a mechanic and then going to Dodds and getting the straight dope. I'm good with cars but these are my guys for problems I don't have the tools or time for. Old school, call them and someone who is actually there and knows what they're talking about will help you make a decision. And if you are waiting there the burger joint across the street is fire.

I needed some personal parts installed, and they were so helpful and the price was REASONABLE! Definitely worth the price and the wait. Will be going to Dodds for ALL my automotive needs!!

I'm very handy. I do make of my own repairs. Once in awhile I do not have the time or equipment to do certain repairs. This is the only shop a let work on my vehicles. They are honest and do things right. They explain why something needs to be done and they do their best to give you an accurate quote. If the work ends up being less time or less parts they are honest and revise the quote and save you money. They always do a few diagnosis and quote. I take referrals and reviews very seriously and this is the only automotive shop I've ever taken the time to refer, review, and recommend. Thank you for all the happy service visits over the years. We are customers for life and believe anyone that gives them a shot will also become the same.

I have a 1930 restomod that wasn't running properly, and I wanted to have power brakes installed on it also. Two local mechanics told me that it wasn't possible with that type of old chassis. I found Dodds Automotive and within one week I had an incredible running car with Power Brakes installed too. Jerry and Doug have the ability to see a problem and know how to solve it!! I want to thank this company from the bottom of my heart. I am going through alot and to get a service check and honest feedback was more than I was anticipating. I will be using your services in the future. Again thank you for being Honest and Trustworthy. These are hard traits to find in today's society. And thank you for getting me in so quick even when I got lost and missed my original appointment. Awesome People!!!

Dodds always goes above and beyond the call of duty. My vehicle was pulling to the left after some front end work was done. They did a free 2nd alignment on my vehicle and found my front end has old and worn parts. I was shown the alignment numbers to prove that there is nothing more to do until the front end starts leaking or parts show other signs of needing replacement. Most shops would not have been so generous and up front. I am staying loyal to Dodds and continue to sing their praises as their other customers do.

Was encouraged to take my car here by a loyal customer of the shop. It took a week before they could fit me in & I was then charged $400 dollars for one hour of labor to replace a window regulator. They said they had to bring in 'the electrical guy' to do the job. It was raining (of course), & they were already doing my brakes, so I gave the go ahead to fix it. I have since learned that this could have been fixed at a couple of other shops I checked with for $90 per hour. I would not recommend this shop.

The most incompetent alignment ever to my car. I live in my car and they've made it dangerous and I'm afraid for my life to drive my car. Was supposed to get a four wheel alignment and they couldn't even align the front wheels correctly!!!!! DON'T Do business here.

Took my car into have an alignment done. After being told I had other issues with my castors and being charged for an alignment. They said my car was perfectly aligned to the best of their ability and needed further work. I then took it to two other shops who both said it had not been aligned and there was nothing wrong with my front end. The driving difference was night and day from driving off Dodd's lot to having the alignment properly done with Eagle Tire.

Honest mechanic. Good work. Have been going there for years and have never been ripped off. For large jobs they always give an accurate estimate. The place to go for car repair.

Do you have a car or truck that you love and want to keep in excellent condition but don't want to spend money for unnecessary service? Dodds understands value and the importance of giving customers affordable options. Thanks for 15 years of keeping my vehicles running!

Called before taking my car in. Told the man I had the code read and what codes pop up, only for him to tell me I should bring the car in because they offer a service where they will look at it past the code Machine. However that s not the Services I got. He did exactly what I did read the codes and told me what already knew. They tired to charge me double for parts 160 for 2 o2s for a 1999 Honda.and 175 for labor of a 30 min job. I got the problem fixed the very next day from another shop near by for 1/3 of the cost this shop was trying to charge me for my 1999 Honda. I was born on a day, but not yesterday. If your a women do not take your car here alone and don t be scared to do your homework with other shops. Also not friendly at all from the time I step in I was pretty much dismissed I felt. I think maybe it being Friday they where ready to get the day over with.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

2nd time I have used Dodd's Automotive for electrical issues with 2 different cars.. They have always made sure I got the best deal and the best work done . These are my go to for any electrical work on my cars....

I took my wife's car here for a front end alignment, they told me it needed $1200.00 in front end repairs, "A-arm bushings and a front wheel bearing". I did the work myself, I don't think the bushings were bad . I took it back for the alignment. It drove terrible after they performed the work. I took it to Firestone and had them check the alignment, they said it was done so poorly that it was off of their scale. Paid Firestone to re do the alignment. The car drove fine after Firestone did the work correctly. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! WILL NOT GO BACK!

Great place! I had my BMW in for an alignment today and would highly recommend getting your vehicle alignments done here as well. They have better equipment, better price and great customer service.

I've been going to Dodd's for more than 10 years. They are honest and thorough. Jerry always lets me know exactly what I need without adding anything to it. Great place!
