Extremely disappointed in the service today. I got in at 10am on 09/18/2023. My tires are a year old. Last few days I keep going down from 50psi to 16! It s scary. I filled them last night at 8pm and they were low again by morning. Definitely a slow leak.I was second in line and within 10 min there was 8 people in line. One person at the register.I have an hour commute tomorrow and one car single mom. No empathy. 0 cares. No availability today and only one spot tomorrow evening. Yet the bays were empty and 3-4 service reps in the bays.For buying tires here, it s the worst service at a tire shop I have seen.Currently writing this review at a local shop that got me in and isn t charging me. I offered to pay because I let them know I didn t get my tires here. What a sigh of relief. I cried. Care for my safety and can do attitude. I regret giving my business to Costco tire and from now on will stick to the local shops for good service and making sure I m safe.Both discount and ss tire have been awesome!

I have mixed feelings... On the one hand, I feel like I get a good value and feel confident about the quality of tires and batteries etc. On the other hand the wait is usually so long! I had a 1:30 appt to have my tire sensors checked and the condition of my tires... I got there a bit early and finally asked if they could check on my car at 2:45 and it seemed it had been done but nobody called me. I would say I understand their extra busy before the holiday but the same thing happened last time. By the way I passed on the tire sensors which are $60 ea.

Not happy and disappointed with the service I got. I was told that the tire that had a nail in is not repairable and I need to get a replacement for it. They told me they will replace it for free but I need to buy the rest of the tires that I just bought and installed last year (they started saying the trim is below minimum etc... which I didn't believe). They refused to provide service unless I buy all tires and said this it's Costco policy when you have a 4x4 and for safety this needs to be done. Anyways, I went to another tire shop and in less than 5min they got it repaired and installed for me and said there is nothing wrong with the tires I have, just normal wear and tear.Called customer support the next day and explained to them what happened. They said they will open up a case to look into this and will get a call from management within 2-3 business days. It's been more than a week and still waiting.And just to double check if they were telling the truth, I took my car to Toyota dealership to inspect the tires, and as expected, all came back green and I was told I don't need to replace any.It was an obvious rip off that they tried to pull. I don't recommend Tacoma Costco tire shop on 37th st.

Came to get my tires be rotated at my appointment time and date after all my new tires were installed for 5k miles of running. They told me it would take up to an hour. However, 1 hour and 45 minutes later, I did not see them call to inform me, I came to check, and then was told that my car "has not pull in yet and don't know when it can be done". I believe it could take less than 10 minutes for them to work on my tires rotation. I was late to pick up my kid. I walked back to check out the shop and was seeing empty slots inside, and there were workers just standing and enjoying their time. So, I then ask them to give me back my car key with no more waiting for the service. Horrible service.

One long single file line. Some young white woman cuts everyone and gets expedited service by the older bald white guy. She just needed to pick up her keys , as did I, so who cares. I went behind her and waited, assuming he would help me as well. Nope. After he s finished with her, He looks me dead in my face and walks away. I politely called to him and he just kept walking away. He heard me, everyone in that tire center heard me. His co worker knew it was wrong because he literally stopped helping the customer he was with and got me my keys. Pretty terrible experience , I m driving to puyallup next time I need service.

I have had my tires rotated and balanced at the covington costco. After having that done there, I would notice there is vibration while driving. I took it back to them and have them balance it again. However, the problem still persists. I have decided to try again at a different costco in tacoma.They were able to diagnose the problem, it was because tesla oem tires have this inner foam lining that helps with road noise. the foam had clumped together inside the tire and was causing this constant vibration.I am so happy that Tacoma tire center was able to address my needs. Lots of Thanks to Anthony!

Appreciated them putting air in my tires since the stations were all in use, but man if you re going to whine & complain about doing it, I would ve just waited to do it myself. You work at a tire center, what do you expect? Now I know not to bring my car in for anything!

Broke my tire pressure censors during a tire purchase/installation and then asked for 60 dollars to fix per censor. Won t be back.

Called ahead to bring in our vehicle for a flat. Paid a lot to have it towed over and when we got there they said they couldn t fix it. Perplexing since it is supposed to be a tire center, however the frustration is with them having us pay to bring the vehicle over and then leaving us stranded. I am still trying to figure out how a tire center can t fix a flat but the bigger issue was needing to have the car towed somewhere else after. If you can t do a job just say so, we wouldn t have cared. I really like Costco but this situation stunk. Giving two stars because the staff was friendly.

Came to get my tires replaced at 2:10 20 minutes earlier then my appointment time. It is now 4:10 and I m late for work and have not got my car yet. Horrible service

My third set of Michelin tires. Great tires, great competitive price, lifetime tire rotation, balance and flat repair included. Interstate batteries too. Costco also sells wheels but I have never bought wheels so I can't comment. Excellent customer service on every visit.

Had a slow leak back in December. Brought it in, paid for them to take a look and patch what they could. Unfortunately, it couldn't be patched.When I tried to order tires, the lady working the counter told me I should wait because there'd be a solid sale on the one I wanted in less than a week. Sure enough, there was and it cut almost $200 from the price I would've paid. Installation went just fine.I almost docked a star because they're pretty slow and sometimes the counter is empty - I figure they're checking stuff or working in the back or something. Just be prepared to wait.

In my many years of owning a car I have been to many car places when I either popped a tire or needed new ones. Honestly, today got interrupted harshly when my tire on my car blew out the side wall (poo on me for not replacing them sooner). Well my recently purchased used car didn't come with all the tools to replace my tire ... long story short ... I called several tire spots to see if they could help and their rudeness put me off so much I will never go there again ...The guys at the tire center of Costco weren't like that for even a second. They had my tires and were eager to help where others weren't. I made an appointment while I waited for a friend to help us get our tire replaced and it was just in time to make our appointment.And it was quick! 45 minutes and if we hadn't just done our shopping trip earlier it would have been the perfect time then!!! Highly recommend and the techs are A1 in customer service!

I get in promptly with an appointment and it is good service. The reason for 3 stars is for sitting outside Costco waiting for them to call and let me know they were done. The appointment should have been around an hour. A little past an hour and a half after the appointment time I went in to check on the status. They had finished my car 25 minutes earlier, but gave no call.

Twice now, I have made appointments for a simple tire rotation. Both times I got to Costco 15 minutes early but had to wait over an hour. Today the wait is 1.5 hrs. What is the point of make an appointment?!

Had to get new battery for our Ram pickup Costco Tire Service Center had the right battery at a good price, would recommend stopping by they have what you need.

We purchased a set of 4 tites from Costco. Best set of tires I've ever had on a vehicle and the service was stellar. About 2 mos after having the tires, we picked up a huge piece of aluminum which instantly flatened the tire. We brought it in today to get it fixed. There was not enough wear on the tire to fix it, so they replaced it at no cost! We are blessed.

Came in 2-18-18 first thing in the morning. Was the first person to be serviced. Person that helped me was tyler. Was getting a single tire replaced under warranty. Waited an hour and 20 minutes to get a job that should not take more than 30minutes. Would have waited more if i didnt mention if the tire replacement was already done. Person at the desk told that job was done a long time ago. Tyler told me they he would contact as soon it was done. Dont know why i wasnt informed the job was completed and i stay in the tire center the whole time. Probably wont use them again as i cant see them performing the job. And not informing me when job is complete.
