Awesome auto repair shop. Inspection is reasonably priced and the reports detailing required and suggested work are excellent. Easy to follow and understand with photos and written summary. I ve had work done on two older Subarus and have full trust in this shop. I highly recommend them.

I had come to get a service done in January and they did an excellent job of making recommendations and prioritizing which should be done first. Then, in March my check engine light came on and I thought it may have been related to the previous service. I scheduled another appointment and explained my concern in relation to the recent service they had done and they did an excellent job answering my questions and being patient with me as I made many requests and phone calls. The two problems with my vehicle were not related, just unfortunate timing. They also covered what they could under warranty to make it as financially feasible for me as these were bigger services for my vehicle. I appreciate their patience and willingness to inform as they continued to work with me over many phone calls. Kyle and Nikki heard me out about my concerns and were excellent to work with. Lance went the extra mile and provided more information to my cars problem so I could better understand.

The service was excellent and they kept me informed all the way through the work on my car. The staff was very friendly and they did a good job in repairing my car. I would recommend Coopers automotive to my family and friends.

Finding a mechanic has been horrible lately with my new car.Coopers sent me an email and text message with detailed findings on my car which was super cool.The front desk was professional and polite the paperwork had a broken down estimate of each issue with my carThey are now my new mechanic.

Too costly for a diagnostic and for the issue to be fixed. My engine was blown in my 2016 Jeep Patriot. It was my first time coming to this shop but at the very least I think a reduced amount would have been fair to charge. I had to tow to the shop and from the shop and my husband had to call to receive an update although later I had received a text and email of everything they discovered which I appreciated. $400 just to find out that the engine was blown, money we were not prepared to pay.

I have finally found an honest mechanic shop. They are thorough not only with the call I received to explain what was wrong with my car, they also sent a detailed report of parts needed and prices by email. This was my second time taking car to them, once again a great experience! Honest, friendly bunch of folks. I won't go anywhere else then Coopers Auto Repair in Tacoma. I was looking on the internet of a shop. I came across Coopers. I thought to myself I grow up on this side of town it should be a ok place to try. So I called and made a appointment. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice and polite. So I had my SUV toad there. When I got to the shop I meet a very nice lady name Nikki. She took my information. I gave her my Warranty information. That is when all the trouble started. For weeks Nikki and myself jump through hoops with this company. So I figured after over 50 days of this that it was a hopeless that they was going to help to have my vehicle fixed. So I made the decision to just pay for it myself. The people at Cooper's was so helpful with making this decision. They give me a great price to get it fixed. So now it is fixed and runs great. I will be sending all my friends there. Because there are great people that does great work. Thank you for all of your help

This crew is great. Both times I have taken my car in for maintenance they have been very nice to me. Never recommended anything unless it's an actual maintained or fix thing. I am glad I seen a review for them on the community page. Thank you for taking care of my car guys. Oh and Nikki the service writer is super sweet.

Absolutely wonderful. After all the Dodge dealerships told me weeks to even look at my Dodge caravana that had suddenly stopped working. Cooper was able to get it in, find the issue, and repair it within 5 days. They also dealt with my constant calls and questions without issue. I will be coming to them with all my vehicle emergencies now.

First time for me to use this business. I received a flyer in the mail with a coupon for a $24.99 oil change. I made an appointment and brought in my car. The shop is easy to get to with ample parking. Oil change was done quickly and they performed an inspection of my vehicle and provided an estimate for maintenance based on Toyota's recommended schedule. I am happy with their service and will use them again.Service: Oil change

Would Highly recommend!Customer service is beyond excellent super friendly very helpful. Will definitely be bringing my vehicles here from now on, Got my car back in no time. Excellence beyond any that I have ever seen in the mechanical field would highly recommend to any and all of my friends and family my father is a 20-year mechanic with the US army and my best friend is a mechanic and even they would be amazed at the professionalism nice atmosphere and speed in which my repairs were done

The employees who work here are the most professional and caring people I have met at a auto shop. They make sure what they say backs up what they found by providing pictures of the issues found on your vehicle. They worked with me to get me what I needed.Kyle and Lance are some number crunching,straight talking,knowledgeable mechanics . The shop tecs are fast and do good work.The communication was weird because of their text and email ,I dont think they called me but one time. I scheduled an appointment for 8am for an oil change. I was a little bit early and I was the first one in the door. I was prepared to wait for an hour or 2 because I had a meeting scheduled for the time it was in. I was told though that I could pick it up at noon and that was too late for me because I had another appointment at noon that day. He offered me a ride but it just didn't work me. I will just go back to the dealership, they are much quicker and Value my time as well. I give it a 3 star because he offered me a ride and I never received service.

I could not have been happier with the work done on my car. I think it is running the best it ever has run. Also, the fin does not rattle. I had it repaired quite a few years ago due to the recall and was told that was the best that could be done for it. Cooper's addressed the problem and cared for it. I appreciated the professionalism offered, communication received, and overall cost of the service! They do a great job!

The staff at Cooper s are nice and easy to deal with. Takes time to explain what caused the issue and makes recommendation. Never try to pressure you at all instead, they ll tell you to take your time and get back with them when ready. Highly recommend Cooper s for your automotive needs

I have zero complaints about the service performed here. I waited about a month to write this review just in case something went wrong right away, but everything has been great. I had a bad (faulty) sensor the next day after the initial repair. I called them and they told me to bring it right away for repair under the warranty. They guarantee their work and they replaced the under warranty without charging any additional labor. They even got me in and out quickly. They are not the cheapest place to get repairs, but the quality is A+ in my opinion. I have been other places and have not had the same quality work. It was actually worth the extra $$, even though any sort of repair is painful to the pocket! Thanks guys and thanks for all of the updates along the way during the repair process. By the way, I REALLY appreciate the diagnostic "pre-test" that you performed ahead of time. When I need service again. I will be back.

I made an appointment a week in advance, asking at the time of booking when I would be able to drop off my car the same day as pickup. I brought my car in at the time I was told, but nobody even looked at the vehicle let alone fix anything. I called near the end of the day since nobody had contacted me and needed my car back for an evening commitment. I was told "they're just getting it to now" and that I would hear back shortly, though it was not possible to complete any work. Nobody ever called, so I took a Lyft back just in time for closing and was told by the man that checked me in that the other woman working the desk whom I hadn't spoken to at any point and had zero interaction with said it was fine to keep the car overnight. So, I got a day without my car, $95 in lyft rides, and zero answers as to what was wrong with my car. I was asked at the time of pickup if I wanted to "try again", but obviously declined. The only follow up I received after this experience was this link to complete this survey/review.

Coopers was the only shop in Tacoma that was able to do the work needed on my car. My car was stolen so it needed a new door window and whole new ignition rebuild. They were easy to work with and their communication was great. They worked with my insurance company and kept me in touch with the process. 5 Stars!This shop is the best. These guys do it all. They are busy but always seem to find a way to fit you in. This shop doesn't do wild diagnostics and rip you off. They treat people fair and they are honest. I have never had anything go wrong with any of the work they have done, but I have called and asked basic questions. They were patient, friendly, and always gave me the best advice to save me the most money.Seriously, if you need work on your car go to these guys. I travel about 20 mins just to go this shop every time.Services: Engine repair, Oil change
