I went in to upgrade my sound system and stereo in my 07 Honda CR-V. The team went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and taken care of. They fit us in same day despite being so busy. Definitely will be returning for any of my cars needs/upgrades.

Sales crew were fabulously phenomenal!! What a great crew bring people together and making us feel good about who we are dealing with. Walking us through the process the available models and how it all works. Opinions on how they operate and details big and small. Pulling the Install crew in and making sure our older model car would be taken care of properly and they had all the details before we even agreed to the purchase. Install crew was super great also. Definitely will go back to this for future needs.

I originally went there to get a subwoofer installed, and other than finding they had scratched up my paint to ground to the aluminum body even though there is a dedicated ground spot not too far away, they did what they were supposed to.Due to the limitations of the equipment, i decided to upgrade, and take advantage of their "return promise" and return the equipment. other than being accused of blowing the subwoofer before they tested it, finding it was not blown, they allowed me to return the items.I decided that i would do the install myself and upgrade the guage of wire to accomodate the added power draw. When i went in the engine compartment to run the wire through the firewall gasket, i discovered they didnt reseat the gasket properly. It was completely out of its intended position. It was a pain to get it back in. I watched youtube videos and eventually got it properly sealed.I mentioned the grounding error to the woman at the counter and she said since i moved things i voided the warranty and took no responsibility for the incompetence.I figured it was a one off mistake and decided i wanted to upgrade my stereo more and get a consultation on speakers and to put an amp in.I was advised than in order to put an amp in for the new speakers i would have to either lose the functionality of my infotainment screen and put a new head unit in, or get some 1800 dollar device that allows them to amp the signal. Based on that recommendation i went with just upgrading the speakers. I also had them install bass blockers and they overcharged me 500 to do that quick job addition.After the installation i immediately realized that the speakers sounded worse than before and really high trebble so i did my own research and found that there is a pretty simple solution to get an amp installed. I found a guy that sells custom harnesses that plug into the factory head unit and sends a signal to the amp. The harness and the amp was half the price of the device the installer told me i needed.I watched some videos on youtube and decided i would do the install myself. I started out by going into the door panel to take the bass blockers off, and having watched a youtube video, and ordered tools to do it properly i felt confident to do it. Upon getting the passenger side panel off i noticed damage to the panel and upon inspection, it looked like the tech had pried the rivets off instead of the retention clips. Apparently he doesnt have access to youtube that would have shown him this is not how to take the panel off. I called the store to tell them and the guy said come in on tuesday to talk to the manager. I told him i have a video and i could send it in and he said just bring it in. I live out of town and I have been too busy to go in so i havent yet.While taking the bass blockers off, i found they had wired the speakers incorrectly and bypassed the low pass crossover on the woofer which explained the trebble dominant sound. I know this was wired incorrectly because it shows the correct way on the box. This adjustment improved the sound immensely. I took off the A pillar to check the tweeters and noticed they scarred up that piece of panel. I included a picture of that as well as the broken rivets. I also discovered that they left the trebble setting on high and adjusted that down and now the speakers sound more balanced and im not being assaulted by trebble. I found they had damaged a retension clip on the door where you screw the speaker into, and they used a clip the falls out when you unscrew it. I included a picture.Now that i took the project on the sound is better than i ever expected with no thanks to cartoys' work, or recommendations. My impression is that they dont care about the customers needs, and just want to overcharge for incompetent worksmanship. They damaged my vehicle and didnt tell me. They also dont want to take responsibility and hide behind "you voided the warrantee by touching the installation"

Frankly, darling, I was quite perplexed by my recent experience at Car Toys. While their selection is decent, one would expect a certain level of attentiveness, wouldn't you?Now, I understand a few hundred dollars might seem like a trifle, but the items I purchased could have been easily procured elsewhere, and at a fraction of the installation cost, I might add.They assured me the installation, for which I paid a rather hefty sum, would take a mere two to three hours. Imagine my surprise, or perhaps more accurately, outrage, when it stretched well over five hours!To top it all off, upon leaving, I discovered my interior lights had been disconnected! It's a good thing I rarely drive at night, otherwise, the situation could have been quite perilous. One expects a certain standard when paying such a premium, wouldn't you agree?Frankly, I wouldn't recommend Car Toys to my most disagreeable acquaintance. Let's just say they haven't exactly endeared themselves.If they're truly serious about improving their customer experience, perhaps some rudimentary training in active listening would be a splendid first step.Darling, a few hundred dollars for a product is one thing, but over fifteen hundred to drive away with a malfunctioning system? We all need to make a living, of course, but surely there's a better way.The service was, at best, dreadful, and the product itself seems rather temperamental. So, thank you for the opportunity to express my disappointment. Let me assure you, I will never expect more from their service, nor will I ever recommend them.However, on a completely unrelated note, if there happens to be a vocational school in the vicinity, I daresay their students could manage the installation for a considerably more palatable price.

It s take more than 3 hours.I thought will be really clean but didn t do much not even finish trunk and my seats are still stain used had. I had to go to work couldn t wait until done.So disappointed.If I m happy I was going to gift for friends.

Bring my 2019 toyota camry to put remote start on Sunday march 3 10am sale woman told me it would take 5-6 hours for installation, I came back to store around 430pm to check status of the car they told me it almost finsh, closed manager told me they pulling out the car and I watch the tech pulling out the car from the bay (garage) they have 2inch curb where the entrance.. My girlfriend walk around the car see any damage because we just buy the car.. yes we reported to closed manager and he told us to come back on Tuesday to talk to other managers.Tuesday: I came to talk to both managers store manager and installation manager told them what happen on Sunday, store manager ask me why I didn't tell the manager that day and yes I did reported it..Both manager start to get mad because they know it there faults.. I ask them for number or who I contact they told me I getting a call from them to see it their fault or notHere the pictures of the curb

We wish we had done this sooner. You put blue tooth in our granddaughters car for us and it was done right the first time and worked until she traded the car in. So, when we wanted a good dash cam, we knew where to go. Thank you for a quality product and service beyond excellent.

I am truly disappointed in car toys, ever since I bought this system a little over a month ago I've had nothing but problems. My wife and I walked into the Puyallup car toys to purchase an alarm system and a sound system. The manager gave a price it was a real good price but I didn't have the money on me I got good credit I did snap finance, I wasn't trying to spend the whole credit line that they gave me, the manager then brought out the stuff he had showed me before, but now it was a completely different price, I asked him then what happened, he said price change I said in 1 day? I bought two amps one base, one for the hi, bass speakers, and alarm system. I left while they put it in he called me 2hours later, and said my front speakers are bust out I need to replace them they said it would be another $400, I didn't want to spend that much, he called me back he said he's got something that he can put in that will work perfectly. I agree they put everything in, the next day I'm going to work rolling down my window all of a sudden I'm hearing a crunching sound I look over it's my window tint. It was crunching up in the side, I called them took it back they tried to flip it on me and said it was my fault The window tint got crunched looks like wear and tear on my vehicle. I was insulted then, but they sent me away with fixed windows. Then my front speakers go out they go muffle and it's just all around a bad setup. I'm a newbie I don't know about this stuff, so I depended on him and counted on him to tell me the right things to get that it would all work and if I'm spending over a couple thousand dollars this should be no problem with my system but it's been over a month and a half and I still have not once been able to enjoy my system I took it to Tacoma car toys they couldn't help me they could only recommend that I buy these $1,000 speakers that wasn't my plan. I'm just very disappointed I don't know what to do I just feel very taken advantage of by car toys and it's employees I feel duped.

Took my girlfriends Jeep Wrangler in for a new Car Play head unit and back up cam. Can t remember her name but the girl was super helpful and knowledgeable. Got me in with no appointment and done same day. And she was working alone on a busy Saturday morning. Definitely recommended. Great work on the install with no issues.

They did a good job fixing and installing a stereo and sub, only complaint I have is a minor complaint, some would say a 1st world problem lol. Which is that they said they would call me when it was done but they didn t, I had called them about 1 hour after the estimated time it was done and they had said oh yeah that key is hanging up it appears to be done which at the time kind of annoyed me because I needed my car for a lot of other things later in the day and I was starting to stress about it. However it turned out fine and they did a great job

Update: stopped working less then a week into having it, tech said I just wasn't pressing buttons correctly and changed the pattern took maybe 45min; then it broke again a little over a week later and my husband took it in and they told him the same thing but he told them no thats what you said last time so they "fixed it" but giving us two buttons and disabling my key fob which we didnt want. So we called the puyallup location that says that is the incorrect way to fix it and we have a appointment with puyallup to actually fix it and they warned us the tacoma location is known to not properly fix or install items in viechles.Orginal post: So for Christmas my husband paid to have remote start put into my 2013 subaru. So we went to car toys and we just did a walk in didn't have a appointment and they were quick, polite and kind with helping me choose which would be best for my viechle dropped it off a little after noon and they had it done the same day by around 430 so I'd definitely reccomend this car toys in the future !

I found that Car Toys offered me more flexibility regarding time and date of service and other providers did not. That was important to me. I thought the price was a little costly, but convenience has a cost benefit. The detail service they provided was excellent. I have no complaints and was impressed with the pride the young man and young lady expressed in their completed work. My next detailing needs will be given to Car Toys to satisfied

They installed same day. Camille was the associate who helped me. She was amazing. She should get one heck of a raise! Even though computers were going down and it was towards evening and very busy, she was proficient, kind, and very professional. I m very happy with my new audio system, installation techs did an awesome job. I will go there again, and it s because of Camille. You guys did great, Thanks Camille!

It took six hours to install two speakers and amp. It wasn t the time it took. It was the total lack of communication causing me to take a Uber to an appointment. Not to mention that the lady behind the desk always tries to over sale the expensive parts while the manager stands there and tells her he doesn t need to expensive part ..just a horribly managed business.

My boyfriend's car radio stopped working while I was driving and Zach (who is so kind and was super patient while taking the time to explain everything to me) told me to come in. They figured out what was wrong with it and fixed it for free in less than 30 minutes. And he was cool enough to safeguard my purse while I went to the bathroom. These guys are the coolest! Customer service and quality help!

While I purchased what I wanted and the end result is what I desired, the price I spent was ridiculous and I never received an itemized breakdown of what I paid for. When you go for simply a "deck and 4 speakers" you don't think you are going to spend nearly 2k. I love the finished product, and even though I will finish the set up with back speakers and installation myself, I do believe that Car Toys kind of price gouges. But remember....I love the finished product and I signed the bottom line. Ask every question about prices when you go and request an itemized breakdown ( I'm getting one today)

I wouldn t waste your time coming here. The sales staff is nice, none of the decks, amps, or speakers are hooked up and working. What s the point to come to a store to hear the speakers when none of them work? The search continues for new speakers.

The auto door locks work. "Car toys installed on to the alarm then installed 5 or 6 years ago."I just wish the doors would unlock when I'm in park and not just when the car is off.Also only lock when I put it in drive and not when it starts. " I was locked out of my car while warming it up."The install and everything was more then what I was quoted the week prior when i called in. "About double the price."

Very disappointed with installation and Custmer service. Car was in the shop for over 7 hours and was called to pick up upon arrival the shop still had car in pieces. The sub was not working nor the driver side speaker. My ride had to come back and pick me back up since I had to leave my car over night . There was no manager at closing to ensure Custmer satisfaction or to ensure the work was done correctly. I wasted gas and time. I paid over 1G in labor for my amp to not even installed where we discussed. I expect a professional job and Custmer service. If this is how they treat customers I would not recommend to anybody or Soldiers of local area. Manager is on vacation and now waiting for resolution. Hopefully the right people see this and can make Custmer service a better priority.

Absolutely horrible rude customer service by an uncouth scabby faced man.My husband and I have spent over 3000. On upgrades and etc for my vehicle here.Yesterday my husband was treated Absolutely like garbage when asked about looking at the wires in the vehicle..That they Installed..Not his problem..You Gunn buy something else or leave attitude..It's all about the money ..Nothing more .TrashWish you could give Negative Stars.

I purchased a full interior car detail service. When I picked up my car 8 hours later, I was told management forgot to call me and when I inspected the vehicle, there were stains that were untouched, debri in the center console, mice droppings in the side door pockets, stains untouched in the trunk of the vehicle, no doors, dashboard or seats were cleaned. When I asked them to correct what was not done, I was told I would have to repay for them to honor what they said they would do.

We had two car detailed using a Groupon offer. Both cars looked fantastic after being worked on. My husband's car needed an extra touch which added to the cost but it was sooooo nasty before. It was worth the extra cost to get it cleaned well. Thanks!!

The staff was very knowledgeable and started install immediately. The installation cost is very high so I hope they follow through with the warranty. I called afterwards and asked for an upgrade and was told it would take 2 to 3 more hours to switch the amplifier plus the cost of the unit. They thought $1000 would not be an issue after spending $3700. I ll probably just wait and do it myself but I ll bet they will say they will not warranty if they don t do the install. If so I ll not be going back.
