Took my car in for a simple kill switch installation After 1 hour with my car, Donald left me with a broken speedometer, a new check engine light, and a broken PCM. When I asked Shane about it, he lied about the check engine light being on when I dropped it off. They offered to do free diagnostic work on the engine and the speedometer so I left my car with them for 2 full days but they didn t have time to get to it . On the third day they did get to it and claimed the battery was dead and I needed an alternator which would cost over $1000. Shane also said my fuses were fine and he checked them. Took my car to a better shop for a second opinion and turns out I just needed a new alternator fuse, a 20$ part. All of the employees I met with at were incompetent and/or dishonest. Even for simple car repairs, I would avoid Bucky s at all costs.

Bucky s is great! They re fast, honest, and offer very competitive prices and quality work. They re also much better than other mechanics in the area. I went in a while ago for a weird noise in my car after bringing my car to a transmission shop. The transmission shop told me there was nothing wrong with the car. However, the folks at Bucky s quickly found out that my transmission was falling out of the car! They fixed it same day and for a great price. Highly recommend!

Shane and Donald were the most knowledgeable, kind, patient, friendly people I have ever dealt with! I am so shocked by how helpful they were today. Their customer service is just beyond words. This WILL be my go-to shop for EVERYTHING!!! I can t not rave enough about their services today, and taking care of me. Thank you Shane and Donald!! I will be back!!!

Will not admit to having done a bad job. They changed my brakes and other things. Since then, my brakes have been noisy but they said that that's normal and there is nothing they can do about it. That's after spending over $1200. Exploitation at its best.

Went to Bucky s to have them tighten a loose bolt on my headers. Before I brought my car there It had a head on the bolt it was just loose. I heard the manager tell his employee not to use a hammer gun on it or it will break. Of course the employee didn t listen. On top of all that they wanted to charge $125 per hour and charge me for new bolts even though they broke them. Wouldn t recommend this place.

The mechanics at Bucky's are very professional and courteous. They inform you of things that are going on with your vehicle. Mostly notes, and things to think about in the future.They are also really friendly

In the last couple of weeks, we've had occasion to bring two of our cars to this location for diagnostics, sensor replacements and extensive brake work. We started using this location after I had two less than great experiences with two other auto repair businesses closer to home which ended in a blown transmission and thousands of dollars in replacement costs.I had already started bringing my car here about a month ago because my place of work uses them for our fleet and we've always experienced timely work that was of good and lasting quality. My dad and brother both passed away last year and they were my go-to people for advice on cars. It's important to me that I can trust my mechanic.My car was in and out while I was at work and I didn't even have to make an appointment. What a relief that it was quick and they didn't abuse my pocket-book, especially after my recent expenses. My husband's car gave them a run for their money but they kept it until it was running perfectly and they took responsibility for a problem when it couldn't have been proved they made a mistake. They kept us updated along the way and the brakes are now safe.It's important to me that I be able to trust my mechanic to treat me honestly, especially with my go-to people gone and after I was taken to the cleaners two times before I came to them. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who isn't confident in their own car knowledge.They're fun, too. :) I forgot to mention that they are fantastic about letting you know what your bill will be - no ugly surprises and I really appreciate that.Ten stars!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

literally the best mechanic experience we could have asked for. 26 year old car just randomly wouldn't start today, took it in 2 hours before close on a saturday, both of us visibly desperate for a quick fix, and they had it done before the end of the day, for a lower price than we were quoted, and threw in an oil change for free. this was a truly awful and stressful day, and the mechanics there turned it around, just like that! we are so grateful and will be going back for all our car repairs going forward!!

I took my truck into Bucky s on Sprague last week to have my front brakes done. They have been keeping me informed about the life left on my brakes every time I ve had my car in, which has been a lot lately (2013 Escapes have issues, as I m finding out). I do want to mention that I had my car at the dealership down the street to have some recalls taken care of, and he tried to scare me into having them done immediately at their shop. I could just feel it in my bones that they were not being honest with me, and I stuck to the plan with Bucky sThe car took less than half a day and they stuck to the price they quoted me, as usual. I can t say enough about how important it is to me to have a mechanic I can rely on. I feel it s comparable to having a doctor or dentist you work well with.All the stars; I would continue to recommend this shop in particular.Service: Brakes

Completely fixed my problems with my car, may be costly, but to me that was absolutely worth having my vehicle running up to where it needs to be. Also gave me insight of what I need to watch for to fix in the future so I know what to expect from my older car. It's nice to know ahead of time what to expect and to maintain.

Attempted to overwhelm me with information so that I would spend roughly 2k there put them to fix something that I've been quoted half the cost and less than half the cost for elsewhere.**UPDATE** Took my car to an honest mechanic who cleared all the codes. Nothing popped up. My fix to their $2k problem was a $12 gas cap. They're full of it. Avoid at all costs.

Bucky's has fantastic customer service. Everything was explained to me including costs before they did any repairs. They also stand by their work. I had my brake pads and rotor replaced. The brakes started to groan when I stopped. I brought my back to Bucky's and they replaced both the pads and rotors for free! My wife has also had repairs with Bucky's. I would highly recommend getting your repairs done at Bucky's on 6th and Sprague.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

I had such a great experience with this buckys! I went to another one before and wasn't as pleased. Difference was that Griffen had AMAZING customer service! He was so positive every time I came in, smiling and just being the light of buckys! He helped me financially as well by fixing a few extra parts for me and I couldn't be more grateful Frank also was fantastic! He was so patient and worked really hard to diagnose the problems I had with my truck even when it was unrelated to the original issue I had fixed there. Thank you both so much for creating a great experience for me! I will for sure be back to this specific location because of these two!Service: Exhaust

My Range Rover with custom exhaust was rear ended a few years back and the body shop had Bucky's handle the exhaust. I was very pleased with the quality of work they did, so when I got a new truck, I had them handle the new Flowmaster muffler and resonator deletes. I may have been able to do it for less, but since I knew they would do a good job I didn't even shop around. From the first phone call, Jesse was friendly, helpful, and professional. I was pumped they were able to get it done the same day in about an hour. All of the guys in the shop were good dudes, and I'd happily refer this location in the future.Service: Exhaust

This place is located right next to the jiffy lube and let me tell you they can t compare price or customer service wise, STAY AWAY FROM JIFFY LUBE!! Over priced and all out rude!!! My exhaust system had completely separated from itself and was shot. I was literally out of commission, so I sent an email to Bucky's on Sprague Ave since my car was broke down a few blocks away. Brian, shop manager, emailed me back right away and told me to bring it by so they could take a look before giving me a price quote. So I got a ride down there and drove my car in a couple hours later. I was afraid since I was basically in desperation mode, that I might get taken advantage of - but Brian was super cool, friendly, professional, and honest. Not only did he quote me half the price of the quote I had gotten before he took over new management, he got me in right away and I was back on the road that same day. He even did a full tune-up and threw in a free oil change just because I asked him if that was possible. Normally they wouldn't do that anywhere else, but Brian is a good hearted guy, and very reasonable.I would definitely recommend taking your car in to Bucky's on Sprague! They were great! Very professional; I even had to take it back in as I had a question relating to an entirely different issue - they just happened to be slammed with work - but he leap-frogged me right in and looked at the issue for me. That really says a lot about the team down there. They not only do great work, but they actually care about their customers. I know where I will be taking my car(s) next time I gave any mechanical needs. Brian is a really good guy! No complaints here.

Went in for an oil change and 2 days later my car won t start. I ve NEVER had trouble with my car until bringing it to these guys. Now I have to find another mechanic to see what s wrong. Not planning on going back.Update: I wanted to update this review and move it from one star to four. I found out my battery was old, the mechanic had not caused the issue during the oil change, aside from not tightening my battery after he was done with the oil change. They performed a fine oil change quickly and was kind to me while I was there. Although I never reached out to the owner, I was pleased to see they attempted to rectify the issue by responding to the review. I will continue you to go here, and I apologize for the harsh review initially. Thanks for the great service.

Great, honest service. My brake lights went off so I took my car here. The manager took a look at it and it turns out there was nothing wrong with it, but he did spot a small leak in the engine and gave me a discount since I have something else that needs to be looked at later, but will be costlier to fix up.Services: General repairs & maintenance, BrakesServices: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I brought in my Mitsubishi Montero Sport because it was smoking under the hood. Jesse and Jose found the problem and a dozen other small things that we causing me grief but I didn't know how to determine where they were coming from. They also worked with me to keep the price as affordable as possible. Really solid folks here

This was my 1st time at this location. Devin was absolutely wonderful. He was professional and fixed our car issue. The parts for my infinity was hard to find but Devin was gracious and made a way. He went the extra mile. I also witnessed him greeting others with the same respect and called a customer by name.Which shows he takes time to know his customers. Really nice employees. I received great service as soon as I entered, person at the front counter was super friendly and personable. Manager was flexible and transparent with prices and fees. Prices were a bit steep but whole service was offered and done promptly. I definitely would recommend if money isn't a barrier.

Great experience today. Brian the mgr did us a solid deal. Didn't try to upsell us. Fixed my stepsons truck. Fixed something we didn't know was bad. All at a great price. Very Happy. I would recommend.

They decided to work on my old '85 MR2 with an engine swap when no other shops would. Prices were reasonable and they were incredibly informative and passionate. Be honest, if you do know about something or don't. And they'll work with the truth by doing their own honest work.Will be coming back when I can!

I love the team! Awesome place, way better than precision tune auto care where I used to bring my car. They will work with you if you just talk to them.I had my timing belt & power steering belt replaced. Great job!! I always bring them snacks as a small thank you! I've never had such a good experience with my car until NOW! Thank you guys!!!!
