Bucky's has always been known as a place you have to drop your car off and wait for it to get done. Come with a plan to have some one drive you home if you're local and to come back in a couple to few hours. I asked Reddit Tacoma about the wait times for just an oil change and I got nothing but hate towards the old Bucky's. Ha. I can't speak to your other services you all got. This is probably the fastest turn around of an oil change from any of their locations I've had. It only took a couple of hours and the cashier and I had a good laugh at what Reddit users had to say.

I brought in a van that i just purchased that seemed to have a coolant leak. Andrew was working up front and offered to have a look and perform a pressure test if he couldn't find anything. I told him i had to drive it to wyoming asap. He told one of the mechanics working to perform an inspection on the whole vehicle. No leaks came back from the test and they had it lifted to inspect before i knew it, and it had a few things to show me that needed attention sooner than later.I made the trip with no problems, and am currently ordering parts to fix these issues with a couple friends. Thanks again you guys! I recommend this shop to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle....they offer military discount too!

Jeremiah and his team will take good care of you and your vehicle. Prices are fair and he won't tell you parts you dont need.Highly recommend you let them check out your vehicle and get it on the road for you. Honesty in mechanics is hard to come by these days!

They are awesome. They will help you with whatever you need fixed. They will give you a great price. If you have any other problems, they are always there and willing to help you they love repeat customers, so if you constantly come back, they will constantly be giving you good deals on prices parts labor all of that stuff. Jeremiah is awesome. His entire crew is awesome. Everyone s nice they re not gonna look at you like you re below them or even if your car is a mess they re not going to look at you like you re stupid like some places do they re just going to talk to you about what happened explain to you what s going to happen and if you have any other problems in the future Just call them they re there to help they ve been helping me with my car. They rebuilt my rear differential and help me figure out that my car does not have stock parts in it. It has aftermarket parts for some reason well, not for some reason, but it has aftermarket parts on it that did not come stock with the car, but they helped me get through those problems and helped to rebuild my rear differential and I say helped as in they did the whole thing And got me my car back and I am going to always go to them even if I stay two hours away to get my car fixed..

We came to Bucky's today for what we thought was just a spark plug issue. The problem was actually much worse. We expected for our car to be in the shop for at least a couple of days.. Thanks to Andrew and Richard our car was fixed and back on the road by the end of the day. Both of them even stayed late to make sure of it. Amazing customer service and going above and beyond to help us! Should anything else go wrong we will defnitley go back. Thanks guys!!

I feel like the PRICES are super HIGH!!! Overall experience is sub par! Please make your prices reasonable! Plugs and wires $800 after your so called discount! Come on now do better!

Took my truck to get carrier bearing and u joints replaced. They couldn't fix it but they did go out of there way to help me find a place that would. I will be going here again for other jobs because they were friendly and helpful!

Same day service! The tow truck brought my truck there around 10am. My brakes were shot to hell. Even a caliper fell off. Hence the tow. My truck was done by 6pm same day. Jeremiah has a nice demeanor. I know they were slow that day which allowed them to finish my truck fast but getting my truck back same day was still awesome! Thanks Jeremiah!

If you want something done right the first time, without inflated prices, with guaranteed parts and service, this is the place to go. I've always got 5 star service here, and refuse to take my vehicle anywhere else now.

Went in first come first serve for the click click sound when I turn the steering wheel. Receive a quote including labor which I already knew was going to cost more than $400. I actually left after that came back3 hours later for service not only did it take half the time he said but almost half the price. Very knowledge mechanics, and what's the greatest thing ... Honest hard working guys . Gotta love it

Took my car in to have the AC diagnostic for 2 hours just to have them tell me they know what is wrong but won't do the work and charge me over $300 and then tell me to take it to a dealership have them find out what's wrong with it and then bring it back to them to fix itWhy would I go to a dealership and have them diagnose it now probably for the same amount of money I just paid you out and then bring it back to you when the car is already at the dealership being worked onAlso after picking up my car now my fan is on constantly on while I'm driving and when I'm parked and it stays on after I shut the vehicle off for about 7 minutes I don't know what you guys reset or did but now it's doing that which I believe will burn up my fan faster because it's electricI will never bring my car back to this place and I would never suggest anybody ever to have business with

I would not recommend this location, I'm unsure about other locations though. This location charges 2 to 3 times the price for parts and they kept my car for 4 days "trying to recreate my issue" instead of putting it on the diagnostic like it was agreed upon, there were so many things wrong with my experience. When I got my car back, after $850 and a brand new distributor, he advised me that I need "a new motor mount and timing belt... which is why your car is now shaking the way it is". That sounded logical but I didn't understand until i left to drive home. It was driving terribly compared to when i took it in. My "service engine soon" light came back on literally a mile down the road. I took it back to them and they wanted to charge me an additional $130 plus labor (which is $140 an hour) to replace my spark plug wires. I told him no thanks, went to AutoZone and got mid-grade wires for $42 and 10 minutes later, my car wasn't shaking like it was falling apart anymore. I spoke to him about refunding some of the money, since it took 4 days to do soemthing that should have taken far less if he had just done the diagnostic as agreed and he downright refused. We all got bills to pay, I didn't want the whole $850 back, but the fact that the issue I took it in there for wasn't resolved, I had to fix it myself, instead quoted me for extremely pricey issues that weren't an issue AND my days displaced for work when ultimately wasn't needed... I did want a portion of it back. Just bad all around. Disappointed but lesson learned.

I went to Bucky s after getting ripped off by another company in the area. Shelby took great care of me. He had excellent customer service and has incredible knowledge in his field. He just saw the problem with the car and fixed it within 5 minutes. Bought a performance set of brake pads I didn't want to install myself did great work and through in a free inspection. And found out my idler pull was bad and was able to fix it on the same day.

Friendly quick and good pricing I hit a tier on the road and needed my Exhaust to be fixed they estimated it and fixed it in 45 minutes like they promised me

The guy at counter was nice they got me in quick, but I didn't get help I needed. I Don't think I will go back. They missed some of the things I wanted checked.They said they checked couldn't tell if wheel bearing (hub) is bad. I was told it was tight couldn't tell. So I drive home hearing grinding still. I jack it up and I can clearly tell the front driver is bad it has movement & you spin the wheel you can hear the bearing has failed. Also axle bearing driver & passenger side rear. So glad I checked it's no something you want to drive with your wheel can fall off. So I'm frustrated that they couldn't tell me to drive see if it gets worse. Not good advice. I went to Kevin's 9639 Pacific Ave, Tacoma, WA 98444 they confirmed without me telling them what I thought in 10 mins. I would recommend them they were affordable and honest. About $180 less was able to get brakes done Also.

I'm new to Bucky's and have taken both my car and my wife's car. I was helped promptly and with the utmost professionalism. I had my Kia Optima done. The work included tire rotation, inspection, and, oil change. I had a scare with my wife's car and Bucky's cleared it up even when they were at peak busy time. Thank you Donny!

Except for the grease on the inside of my car door, they did a good job! Got my oil changed, my tires rotated, and my AC inspected all in a little over an hour. The price was Very reasonable, as I was quoted $15 more from a different Bucky's for the tire rotation, so that was a nice surprise. I will be going there again when needed.

These guys here really try there best to just give u what u ask for. We all know how it goes usually. U being it in for 1 thing but most of the time now the car needs 3 other things done. These guys will fix what u ask and let u know what they find not try to scare or steer u in a direction to get other stuff done now. Very friendly very fast.

I had my truck fixed at this Bucky's and was extremely satisfied with their service. I was having trouble coming up with the entire amount that was quoted for the repairs and they actually worked with me and let me pay the amount that I had scraped together, which was so nice of them to do and really saved me as I work paycheck to paycheck as it is. I worked with Chris and Steve and won't go anywhere else for my vehicle repairs again. They were quick and thorough as well. Thanks guys!

I love this Bucky's. They've always given fast and honest service. I recently had both catalytic converters replaced on my SUV as well as exhaust installed on my vehicle. They close at 4pm on Saturday. But they stayed hours late to complete my vehicle. I'm very thankful to them. And they will be the only one I have work on my SUV.

I just had my 2nd visit to a Bucky's this year, the first to 48th & Pacific. They were extremely busy, but managed to get my car turned around in a very satisfactory time. Chris, the manager, and Carl were very helpful and I never felt they 'lost' me in their busyness. My experience was pretty darn good. Chris was the front desk gentleman that I had spoken to on the phone prior to heading in and he was also the gentleman that greeted me.He was nice and honest, genuinely seemed like he wanted to help me. Answered all my questions and gave me something to think about when it came to the repair of my old beater.Needless to say my old trusty didn't make it but none the less the service I received here was great.
