Independently owned, honest, knowledgeable, fair pricing, good service. We've been going here a long time for anything that doesn't require the dealership. Recently we wanted to give a big job to Bitterlings instead of the dealership but the owner clearly explained why they couldn't match the price (dealer monopoly). I appreciate the honest response. .

You should never ever use this place. The entire thing is a scam. Carhops had me send my car here because of course it died on my way to work 6 days after I drove it off the lot. They called and said my car was ready it died again the next day after they claimed to fix it. Then told me they are not responsible for it because it had another problem they didn't want to fix. Then they Lady told me "remember" there is something else making it shut off I told her I didn't remember because I don't work there. She said yes remember we only replaced the fuse not the problem.....

I had a poor experience there. The previous owner was good, Mr. Bitterling,. The name is ruined. I brought in a Ford truck for a crank but no start. They kept it for 5 days and charged 5,5 hrs diagnostic. I don't believe this time. It runs horrible. Drove it about 5 miles and it stop. They are dishonest. Ricardo worked on my truck. He did not go logically to diagnose it. He replaced parts that were good. I will dispute the bill.

Took my Nissan in because the heater stopped working. Ricardo did an excellent job fixing it. Will definitely be bringing it back for future services.

One of the worst experiences I ve had at an auto shop. Came in for them to check my engine light, they said it was because of my distributor and converter leaking oil. So I had them replace the distributor for the price. Although they told it would take an hour and half, but they kept adding that on and it took a total of 5 hours of me just sitting there. That doesn t even compare to the fact that they didn t even let me know that I needed more required maintenance for my car to drive safely! Which is my timing belt, water pump and cam shaft after going to another shop, they let me know this which sparked my annoyance for Bitterlings. Wouldn t trust them again.

Ignition cylinder drilled out no key needed a new one with key and door locks programed to ignition and a side window replaced. No mechanical work requested.6 weeks later 1,200 dollars not the 500 they estimated. Cylinder was already out they gave me excuse after excuse just to find out they stole or didn't secure my vehicle catalyc converter gone and whole in gas tank they replaced my gas tank didn't show me the old with the hole. Ran out of gas in the parking lot. They laughed told me it was my duty to have gas in it. I have 2 keys which I told them no I wanted it fixed programed to one key she laughed said a dealership would do that for 5 grand! Worst mad and crazy unreal this experience. They are crooks who stealParts lie and they are not Bitterlings anymore but they don't disclose this,Services: Electrical repair, Auto power window repair, Electrical, Auto rear window replacement

I was referred here by my sister. After reading the reviews I was unsure but gave them a shot anyway. Wow! I brought my car in that morning unexpectedly, they had it fixed that evening and I was able to pick it up. They were honest about the future maintenance I would need on my truck.I ended up scheduling the next week and they found a different problem but had the part I needed in the shop and fixed it real quick free of charge!! They went above and beyond most other shops that I have been to. Bitterlings will now be my go to shop for repairs. Thank you!Reasons to go here - Honest, efficient, affordable and great customer service.

After our car was stolen, they were great to cover our damages and were super friendly, helpful and efficient! The cost of our repairs were great compared to others.

I've been bringing cars here for well over 10 years. Very honest and reasonably priced mechanics. I've even had the manager figure out a wiring/fuse problem very cheaply when another shop had quoted me over 2,000. I won't say what they charged me because it really was too low to fairly mention.

We trust these guys, plain and simple. We trust they will give us the best price and be honest with us about what really needs fix and what can be done later. Above that we trust that they will do a quality job. Our family has been bringing our cars here for the last 10 years.

Put the wrong type of hose on transmission. Used a fuel injection hose versus a transmission type. So leaked all transmission fluid out. Then wanted me to wait a week for the warranty work. Anyone's thoughts on this type of service? They use to do good work in the past. I have taken multiple vehicles there in the past were good.

CONSUMER BEWARE!!! Important point - any reviews posted a year ago, or more, were before Don sold Bitterlings. He was the best and I miss him terribly. If I could leave negative stars, I would, but unfortunately I have to give them one that they don't deserve. First point. The guy that works there, Grant, never had a mask on his face, meaning he has no respect for me, you, or the mandates in our state due to Covid. Second. Moneeva, if thats how you spell her name, I don't care, is the new owner. She has broken English and is difficult to understand at times. If you're going to buy an automobile repair shop, know what you're doing or hire someone else that does. She's arrogant and disrespectful. She's not someone I ever want to do business with again for numerous reasons. On January 10, 2022 I took my suv to the shop to help locate a leak coming from the body of the car. After sitting in the waiting room for 4 hours, and being ignored the entire time, the mechanic said he couldn't find it! I was obviously frustrated at that point. An old man from the garage walked in and, in the meanest tone I've ever heard said, "You don't do this!" Moneeva, the incompetent owner, stood there, heard it, and said nothing! I find this business very offensive, because of the unmasked front desk guy, Gary, and that old man that yelled at me. Later in the month I had to take it to a body shop for other issues not related to this. I found out that the mechanic left the drain plug out from under the drivers seat while looking for the leak. He also tore a hole in my drivers side carpeting by removing my WeatherTech mat with undue force! When I left the body shop I went into Bitterlings to confront the issue and was met with denial and no apologies whatsoever. "Mistakes happen" was her, the owners, only response. The fact that they hid the missing plug and the torn carpeting was unbelievable. When I left, and when I entered, I saw that the front doors glass had been shattered. In my final exit from the shop I turned to her and said, "Karma".Service: General repairs & maintenance

I would never recommend Bitterling's to anyone after the service I had! They are not professional and do not give a clear picture of work required.I DROVE my car into Bitterlings, approved $500 worth of work, then got 2 more calls about an additional $200, then $150 worth of work needed. $850 total. When I was told I'd be able to pick my car up, I got another call that a part had FALLEN OFF my engine and it is NO LONGER RUNNING, requiring an additional $1050 worth of work to get it running again, a total of $1900.The car was older and almost at 100k miles so the estimated necessary work total had exceeded the value of the car. They still REQUIRED THAT I PAID the $850, even though this work did nothing to fix the vehicle because it NOW WON'T START.I also, went by the shop on a Saturday (not realizing they were closed for the entire weekend) to find my car parked on their lot with the DOORS UNLOCKED and my personal belongings inside. I was lucky nothing was stolen because they have signs all over their office saying they are not responsible for stolen property - so had anything been stolen, it would have been my responsibility, not theirs for leaving my vehicle unlocked on their unfenced, not secure property while they were closed with no one on site for 63 hours.----I am upset with the service here because I feel like I was taken advantage of and price gouged instead of hearing from an experienced mechanic about the extent of the work needed to repair my car.I was never given a full picture of the damage my car had sustained, instead I was told small estimates at separate times totaling to a lot of money that never actually fixed the car. Keep in mind, this car was running when I brought it to them so I basically paid for them to break my car and ask for even more money to fix that.I got multiple calls and estimates throughout the day while they were working on my car: 1st call- I was told I was lucky that I only needed $500 worth of work, 2nd call - thermometer needed to be replaced $200, 3rd call - small repair for oil leak $150. After approving all of this work and the 3rd time I had talked to them, they mentioned that the timing chain was stretched but I was told that it DIDN'T NEED TO BE FIXED and I could pick my car up by the end of the day.As the end of the day approached, I called to ask about picking up my car. She called back to tell me that while THE MECHANIC WAS DRIVING MY CAR OUT FOR PICKUP, THE TIMING CHAIN HAD FALLEN OFF AND NOW THE CAR WILL NOT START! To fix this they estimated an additional $1050 of work ($1,900 total). I said no to the work because I wanted to do some research, as now the total of all the work already approved and required, exceeded the value of the vehicle.Moneeba called me multiple times the day after my car broke asking for a decision on doing the additional work but when I asked for the estimates in writing she could not provide anything in writing. Moneeba said THEY DON'T PROVIDE ESTIMATES IN WRITING therefore, I must write it down myself (which is actually against the law in Washington to not provide written estimates for work over $100). She said she would try to put an invoice together with the work I had approved but it took 2 days to finally get the repairs they had done in writing. Still no written estimate for the work required to get the car running again. When I came in to speak to Moneeba and discuss options, she was defensive and demanding that they had done nothing wrong. The only thing that she did to right the wrongs of her shop (and I doubt she would have had I not requested it) was due to the fact that I could no longer drive my car off the property - was she didn't charge me to store my car on the lot past the week mark while I tried to sell it.I'd also like to point out that the old owner, Don, no longer owns this auto shop and most of these reviews are for the business he ran. Bitterling's is not accredited by the BBB.Save yourself the hassle and stress I went through and go somewhere else!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I think this shop is great. I've been coming to them for 5 years. I've had oil changes, brakes, and recommended maintenance for my Lexus. I think they're professional, friendly, trustworthy, and competitively priced. It's one less thing to worry about. It's hard for me to understand how this place could get a bad review.

Called yesterday, set an appointment, arrived the next day and was out of there in no time with my problem fixed. Every employee was cheerful and welcoming. I recommend this shop if you need any repairs to your vehicle. Great and honest people here at this location.

They've served our family for decades. My only complaint is that the wait time can be very long. I came in for a simple brake diagnostic and they wanted me to leave it from Friday to Monday. I mentioned this to the counter guy and he said he would take it to at least diagnosed it so I really appreciated that. I end up going to another shop down the street since I needed my car over the weekend, but I'm happy they were at least willing to help me out. I still will come here but maybe not when I need some immediate service. Hope they expand their garage

I made an appt to diagnose what I thought was a wheel bearing. They diagnosed which wheel and I asked when they could repair it. He said right now and quoted me $400. I figured it would be closer to $500 with tax and whatever extras popped up. 2 hours or so later it was done. My bill $397 and change WOW. Very friendly and professional they earned a new customer today. I recommend you give them a try.

This is the best repair shop I have ever been to. I remember the first time I went there two years ago. Very honest and trustworthy, do not do unnecessary things. Their customers matter to them and they know them by name! I will continue going here as long as I live in the area. I do not think they are much more expensive than other places. Oil changes are usually around 40 dollars if you have an actual mechanic do it rather than the kids at Jiffy Lube.

They had the lowest prices around town. Toyota wanted $170, Bitterling charged me $45. They got me in quick because I needed it done fast for a road trip. Very nice staff. Small shop feel here.

I took my car here based on the reviews I read on Yelp and that was a terrible mistake. This place is by far the WORST service I have ever recieved from an automotive repair shop. I brought my car in for rough idling, they told me it was probably the EGR valve. They called later that day telling me that it wasn't that, that my car just needed a tune up and it was fine. I went to pick the car up the next day and paid them $300 for the tune up. I asked about the 10% labor discount through Yelp and they applied the discount and then told me I needed a fuel filter so that "ate up" my discount. I drove off thinking they had fixed the problem, I didn't even make it a block down the street and my car began running terrible. I brought it straight back to them and they told me it was running fine for them, to leave for a day so they could test drive it. I returned the next day to pick up my car because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it! Not only did they not fix it but I picked it up and my key wouldn't turn in the ignition! I continued to have this problem over the weekend and called them Monday when they opened back up and told them I had been having trouble with my car since I picked it up from them and they said to bring it in the next to look at it. I brought it by the next day and not only did they not look at it, they told me it was my fault my key was "worn down" and to take it to a lock smith. It's funny my key wasn't "worn down" before I brought it to them and I had no issues prior to leaving my vehicle there! A total waste of money and time these people are a complete rip off and leave your car in worse condition than it was before bringing it to them. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! I regret ever bringing my car here, I thought it would be a good place based on the reviews but I can tell you that is completely FALSE! If I could give ZERO stars I would!

Just got my dodge ram picked up from there and they did an excellent job!! My old mechanic closed shop, so I needed a new one. I called around a few places and not only was the team here the best deal, but the total came to even less than what I got quoted!!I highly recommend going to this shop! Thanks, team at Bitterling's!! I'll def be back!!

Best experience I've ever had at a repair shop. I dropped in unannounced friday evening just before closing to have a car I was about to purchase. They looked it over to help me out and they didn't even charge me.. decency and goodness is still alive and well. Thank you!
