I'm always am treated kindly but the staff. And I've never had to wait longer than an hour for the crew to get my car back to me. They try to upsell you on things even when you go for just an oil change but that's to be expected.

Second time here because I liked the service. Still happy. The service is expedient, staff is polite and accommodating despite an apparent shortage, mechanics appear to be confident and eager.

My wife and I scheduled an appointment to have our car serviced. We re-arranged our work schedules and child care plan for the day. To us, an appointment means a commitment between two parties that we take very seriously, and we like to stick to our word. I called the morning of my appointment and confirmed it with the service department. I showed up five minutes early. After about 15 minutes of waiting without being acknowledged, a member from the service team finally started checking people in. The first question I was asked was "are you ok leaving your car overnight?" to which I responded "only if absolutely necessary." I was then told that they "might not be able to get to it until the end of the day because they're short-staffed but could at least start looking at it." Given his vague communication and how it seemed like he was dancing around the issue, I asked what that meant and why the other 11:30 appointments in front of me were honored but you couldn't honor mine? After checking with the mechanics, he confirmed the best they could do would be to start looking at it by EOD due to staffing issues (as if staffing and not over-booking is my problem). Not wanting to sit around for 6.5 hours in the lobby to receive a potential update, I left, as honoring commitments isn't something they take very seriously.I called the manager, Michael, when I got home and asked why I didn't receive a courtesy call informing me that Subaru of Spokane wouldn't be able to uphold their commitment to our 11:30 appointment and why my appointment wasn't honored. He seemed to be confused about why I didn't receive a phone call and claimed they normally call customers in this situation, which I find hard to believe given how this place is run (I'm sure I'm not the first to hear this). He tried to offer me a loaner car, which I didn't see any value in, given their lack of ability to manage appointments/staffing and not wanting to risk wasting additional time with this dealership. I find it ironic that the dealership claims on their website to "take great pride in our helpful and knowledgeable staff" and to be "honest and transparent" when they can't even figure out how many customers to book or make it right when they screw up. Based on my call, I sensed they have no pride in how they run their business or upholding the Subaru brand.Sadly, I was warned in the past by several people to avoid this dealership at all costs, because of the terrible service they received. Unfortunately, I found out for myself why they have this reputation. Our car only has 10k miles on it, and they lost a lot of future business. I will openly share my negative experience with other Subaru owners.

This is my last time getting my Subaru serviced here. I drive 40 min from Deer Park. This time around, I needed extra maintenance done. At the first appointment, I was talked into an oil change on top of a diagnosis, which took 4 hrs. I scheduled the extra maintenance which I was told would take 4-5 hrs and spoke to Nathan in the service department several times about needing a loaner car. I'm 8 months pregnant, I can't sit in the lobby for that long and their offered Uber services will not take me to Deer Park. I was told, yes, we'll have a loaner car for you. I even called the day before to check in about the loaner car and was assured there would be one for me. I show up today and sorry, no loaner car. But you can come back tomorrow and we might have one for you. Total incompetence and disregard. I'll be looking for a shop close to home to do my services from now on. This service department just doesn't give a $#it.

Service is fine as far as the quality of work done but I don't understand their reservations system. I have a oil change at 11 they tell me there are 1.5 hrs worth of oil changes in front of me before they can start mine. Why not schedule me at 12:30?? I made a reservation your treating me like a walk in??

Thought I finally found a good car until a couple days in the horn didn t work. Found out they d pulled the fuse because a post market alarm was put in that goes off constantly even while I m driving. Was not informed about any of this. Same slimy salesmen you ll find at most dealerships. Cover all your bases because they do not care about you.The actual maintenance guys are very cool, efficient and kind though.

Micah and all the guys at Subaru of Spokane have blown me away. Completely the opposite of every dealer service department stereotype. They go above and beyond to get you back on the road, and your wallet will be grateful for their efforts in the end.

I would say this sevice dept is top notch when it comes to the customer service side! I have 4 trips experience and they were all equally good at this. Nothing extraordinary in regards to personalities however everyone seems friendly enough. They address issues with a sense of urgency which as the customer is always nice. I have always called ahead so not sure if it is why but I am usually in and out with 15mins usually 5 or 10 and I leave in a rental! As for the mechanical side I can not give too much as they are still searching out the issue with my breaks. I will update if need be but for now I am going to assume they are pretty dang good! Definitely VERY satisfied and will continue using this service dept for years to come!!!

Was told that a full time up would cost around $1,000 but after speaking to other shops that approximate cost was way more then other shops since another one told me it would be around $300, why because they are specifically a Subaru shop?

Called and set up appointment was told one hour for service. After I arrived it is now 3 hours. I purchased two Subaru's from them, not getting my next one there. Service is as important as the sale.

I went in because I got a recall letter and they did the job pretty quickly! They had some great complementary coffee and popcorn in the waiting room, there is an area where kiddos can play with toys and lots of space to pick a spot to sit at and there was also a TV which was playing News, I had a great experience and to top it all off they gave my car a nice rinse! Great place.

Professional, knowledgeable service writers. Excellent customer communication. Technicians accurately assessed my problem, identified the solution and ordered the needed part. Got me right in when the part arrived and got me underway in a timely manner.

I expect to pay more at a dealer repair shop, but wow do I feel like I m getting price-gouged here. I ve needed a couple repairs done this year, one major, one minor, and both times they quoted me prices that were twice as expensive as an independent shop. I ended up going elsewhere and saving a ton of money. They also exaggerated the urgency of one of the repairs which feels very dishonest.

Visited to have recall replaced and oil change, while waiting. Waiting room was mostly arranged for virus protection, and work turnaround was faster than scheduled. Car was left clean. Customer service person was very helpful.

Very sketchy service department, they'll do a recall mandated by Subaru, which in my case caused $750.00 damage to my cars engine!THEY TOOK NO OWNERSHIP OF THEIR WRONG DOING! Just several "REASONS IT WAS MY FAULT!Not only that but felt the need to try and charge me for an o2 sensor that had already been replaced! I WAS TOLD "WELL THAT COULD BE AN OLD CODE! FYI TECHS A SIMPLE LOAD TEST WOULD HAVE MADE SURE IT WAS NOT BAD, but one would only do that if they truly were CAPABLE OR CARED! This demonstrates they don't. I'm not a tech but was able to diagnose problem. WITHOUT A COMPUTER HOOKED TO IT! That was $260.00 I saved myself from theses SCAMMERS, FYI $66.00 part and 15 minutes to replace. I heard in my more than six hours at the dealership, other customers convinced to buy a $33.95 filter, cost $12.00 ANYWHERE ELSE, and again just a few minutes to replace. $22.00 for time seems UNREASONABLE!THIS IS A GREEDY GROUP, OH THATS RIGHT.. . MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! KEEP ENDORSING THIS BEHAVIOUR SO SHAREHOLDERS CAN KEEP IT COMING IN, SHAMEFUL!My voice is nothing.Opinion is only counted if you have enough POWER! I'M sure it just falls on deaf ears!NEVER AGAIN, DONT TRUST THEM DEFINITELY GET A SECOND OPINION!

Great place to buy a subaru not the best place to get them serviced. Complaining doesn't make a difference, they treat you like your stupid, especially if I send my wife in. So now I'm stuck taking a brand new car in for warranty service and oil changes. Might try autonation I heard they're more professional
