I want to give a big shoutout to Pete for helping me out with my Jeep's tie rods right before a major trip. Pete's expertise and professionalism were evident throughout the entire experience. He fixed the issue efficiently and took the time to explain the problem and the solution. If you ever need automotive assistance, I highly recommend Pete. Thanks again, Pete!

I haven't actually had them work on any of my vehicles yet, I called in to get some work on a four barrel carb for my 1978 Dump Truck, after listening to the problems I was experiencing he told me a super quick and easy fix I could do myself, he was completely right and my truck has been running great since then. To me the show's a lot of integrity, he could have easily had me bring it in and charged me for a simple fix like a lot of companies do. This is somewhere I trust I could all carburetor work too and trust them to be honest.

I had Pete rebuild the carburetor from my 82 Prelude. It is a challenging one that in the past I've had people refuse to touch, but Pete was not scared. He has lots of resources including his own library of reference carburetors. He was also fine with me sending along some extra reference materials just in case he found them useful. He still consults with the former employees/owners of Nolan's Carburetor so that he also has their expertise to draw on.He is super helpful and informative which I greatly appreciate. He gave me advice on parts for it along with allowing me to source parts separately (floats) in case I could find them at a better price (I was). He also told me more than once that if there is any issues with the carb that I should call him.Sure the cost to have a carb rebuilt can be more than buying a replacement. But when you can't be sure if the off-the-shelf carb will be correct for your application, or if you want to keep the original, the only option is to have it rebuilt. Considering the tools a shop like he has and typical shop rates, its a fair deal.

I needed my carburetor rebuilt, and know full well i would have messed it all up. Even though I live far away from Pete's Carburetor the shop came well reviewed by people in an online forum dedicated to the kind of truck I have. After looking Pete's up on google I read some of these recent, and less than awesome reviews. I was a little bummed out by that, but I went ahead and used his shop anyway. Im really glad that I did. Pete's Carburetor did a kickass job, and they did it in less than a week. My carburetor was rebuilt, tested, and returned to me via mail in under seven days. Holy cow. Yeah, the process isnt inexpensive, youre only saving about 60 or 70 dollars off the cost of a new carb, but if you had the choice between new (china) or old (usa) which would you pick?? And to the folks who are whining out here about someone answering the phone and being gruff because the number looked fishy.....c'mon....I know you do the same thing, fella. Use Pete's, you'll be glad you did.

Update, Jim has retired and we have lost Scott up at the grate Nowlan's carburetor. You can still find Jim down at Pete's garage on Trent once in awhile. Pete has taken over the carburetor business and is now your one stop shop for all your vehicle care, needs. If you have a carburetor and it needs love this is the place to go Jim, Scott and now Pete and Peter are the best around they put love in every carburetor they do and now they do fuel injection too, at a great price. Now where else to go that now and cares about you with pride in everything they do...

Called this shop yesterday, they tell me yeah we clean injectors. Okay so can I schedule that nah just bring them in okay how long does it take? You just drop them and we get to them when we get to them I take them there today and he tells me no way would they be done today. I ask if anywhere in town does it, he says no one would be able to this late on a Friday afternoon so I left called one place and they said yeah no problem. Rude unhelpful employees don t earn good reviews

Our family has been going there for a few years now and we are always treated wonderfully. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman. We refer service to him because we know they will be treated the with great care and their problems will get taken care of!

This is by far the best place to go for Carburetors.Jim hooked me up with an Original Rochester for my GTO and I couldn't be happier. Great customer Service and very knowledgeable, especially with Domestic Carbs.

Brought them my Holley carburetor for rebuild and they informed me that it had been heavily modified to where it was dumping too much fuel and some other issues, which explains why my boat ran so poorly. Make a long story short they did an incredible job and will use them again if ever needed.

I just called to get a quote on rebuilding a 4 bl carb for my pickup. I do not know much about cars or carburetors, however, I do know bad customer service. The guy who answered the phone said "NWOENllsdk". I said "Hello, is this Nowlan's?" He said" Yeah, that's what I said. What do you want?" Already taken aback I just asked if I could get a general quote and repair time. I said I am not sure what kind of carb it is but I know its a 4bl off a '76 chevy truck. The guy scoffed and said "Huh, well, it will be around $250 to $350 and probably a week or whatever."I have already called around and found out I can get a 2bl carb new for around $250 and a 4 bl Edelbrock carb from Napa for $375 new. I just asked if the rebuilds were generally the same price as new and the guy said "Oh yeah? You think so huh. Fine." and hung up on me. I called back and got a different person, explained what just happened, and he said, wow that's too bad. So what do you want. I said nothing, I'm good, just wanted to let you know you lost a potential customer for good. I got the feeling they really didn't care. Take your business there if you want but expect to be treated like garbage if you do.

Had Ford 9n carb issues and they were pretty backed up but the gentleman was nice and patient with me and told me what I need to do to get my carb working properly. Great having a place like this hear in Spokane

very helpful. always willing to explain and help you figure out any carb related problem you are having. also have had every part i have ever needed for my old carburetor. i refer them any time someone has carburetor problems or needs parts for one..
