I had emailed them the day before about my issue and they had told me to bring it in the next morning, which I did. When i get there, he tells me that he won't be able to get to it till Monday and that he has all these other tickets to still get thru and maybe i should try Les Schwab down the road. All i needed done was my back lugnuts taken off and new ones put on. Didn't even have to take off a tire. He just wasted my time with driving down there in the morning and why email me and tell me to bring it in when they had no plan on helping me in the first place?

I am not one to write reviews but I felt in this case others need to be aware. I came in 2 weeks ago for a simple oil change and left with no complaints. However, I noticed over the next couple weeks that my oil was leaking really badly. I thought the bolt was just loose but it turned out way worse. When I opened the hood of my car I saw my oil cap was not on and placed on top of the engine (see photo). There was oil all over my engine, and it was dripping from the inside of my hood. I took my car back in the next day to get it cleaned and fixed. They assured me that they cleaned it all up and everything was done correctly. Again, there was another issue right after leaving the shop. I started to hear a really bad scraping sound coming from the front of my car. Turns out they couldn t even screw my oil pan on tight enough so it started scraping on the road when I drove. After 2 times back, they still couldn t do everything correct to finish a simple oil change. I would not recommend going here due to the fact they can t even pay attention to the littlest details.Service: Oil change

I came in for a wheel alignment and they were able to see me immediately. They were a little higher price than others but I was able to get done right away. Can't knock them for being more expensive since they are upfront with the pricing but if you have time to wait then you save $20 going somewhere else

It's probably my favorite place to go for auto repairs, oil changes, and tire work. Russ has never let me down and always treats me fairly.

Always a positive experience, quick with no b.s. recharged a/c this particular visit.Been to NW with many vehicles over recent years and will continue to rely on their experience and knowledge. I've read posts with people whining about Russ not being friendly, NOT TRUE please give me a break he's there to fix your vehicle not your personal problems. They are no nonsense and have a lot of people to see and help....get a rescue dog or cat if you need a friend and let these guys do what they do best!

Been going there for years for an oil change I decide let's do a tire rotation$130 bill had to buy new lugs nuts. Was told 30 for them was charged 55.and they left the oil dip stick up blew oil up on to the hood of the car. Outside of my car was covered in oil no clue what they were doing. They charge $30 if you don't have their tires to rotate.

They never actually fix your problem and will nickle and dime you for thousands of dollars. We brought my wife s car in 3 times for the same problem Each time they found something wrong with it and charged 500$+ each time. When they finally found what the problem was they said it d be a 1300$ repair. I had a friend do the repair for 400$. We then brought my car in for a throttle issue and they said they needed to change the o2 sensor, which they did for 540 ish $$. One week later check engine light is on and tested haveing the same code that I did when I brought it in to this shop. They never actually fix anything you tell them too and will just find repairs on your vehicle to nickle and dime you out of thousands. BEWARE!Edit: after the most recent repairs last month that I paid almost 600$ for my car is DTILL STALLING, which is the reason I bought it in to get repairs done in the first place.In reply to the stores comment on this. I was not told of any further repairs needed. So what you re saying is a complete lie. I did notice on my repair bill it is mentioned that owner of the vehicle was told about further repairs needed . That never happened. Or else I would have known about what repairs were needed.Continue to lie and deceive your customers and see how many of us come back to you guys.Also, go ahead and look up the MULTIPLE TIMES we brought my wife s 05 Forrester to you guys for a simple oil leak. And y all found something to repair every time without actually FIXING THE LEAK! Also, I m not paying 1200$ for a suspected repair. They didn t even look at the throttle body. I ve had a few other mechanics mention throttle body and that what I told them to check and they didn t! INSTEAD, they recommended a new catalytic converter. So suspected 1200-1500 repair for the possibility of fixing it. That s why I said no.Second edit: after northwest quoted me a new catalytic 1500$ repair a friend of mine sprayed out my throttle body and boom! Fixed the problem using a 13$ can of throttle body spray! This place is a CONPLETE SCAM!AGAIN, be very CAREFULL USING THIS BUSINESS!Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto brake repair, Engine repair, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

This seems like a very trustworthy and fairly priced shop. I came in after my truck dumped all it's coolant at once. They diagnosed and fixed the cooling system same day. The price was fair and the guys were friendly and professional. I'll definitely be going back!

I called three other automotive shops and was told that it would cost 200 to 1200 dollars to diagnose then fix my vehicle. And the earliest I could get in was a week out. Russ & Kyle got me in the next mourning! And fixed my vehicle by 1:00 pm, for less than 200 dollars. When they could of Easley charged me 1200.00. They are onest and great mechanics. They are my favorite place to take my vehicle for work. You can't go wrong with NORTH WEST TIRE &AUTO.

Not worth your time at all. Spoke with someone over the phone and explained the problem with my car. The guy I spoke with over the phone told me to try and get my car into their shop and they would help me. Took a chance and drove my car from Chewelah Washington to Spokane. Hoping to have car fixed. After having my car from the time they opened until around 3 p.m. the mechanic calls my Dad answered and this guy tells my Dad, he refused to work on car. WTH?? Yeah if possible you want to steer your ride clear away from this place!!

If a customer makes an appointment for a service at your company & you decide other services for other people are more important, a call to the customer to reschedule before the customer drives 30 minutes to the appointment would be the least you should do, additionaly if someone has a service performed at your business & drives away & the engine light comes on your company should then take the car right back & verify that it has nothing to do with the service you just performed. These are just minimum courtesies. No one in my family will ever use this company again and shame on your company for treating my child the way you did!Service: Oil change

Firstly, they worked our flat tire inspection and repair into their busy schedule. They beat all their neighbors times by at least an hour.Secondly, their waiting area and bathrooms were comfy and clean.Finally, the price was outrageously fair.Come get your work done here!!!

Great service! Called on Tuesday, they were able to work on the car Wednesday and had it fixed and back on the road on Thursday with a new carrier bearing assy and a new set of well priced tires. These guys are awesome and squeezed me in on a busy schedule when I had flat tire and a packed day with no time to spare. I called 6 other tire shops to try and fix my problem and they all told me to kick rocks but these guys recognized it would only take 10 minutes and helped me out.100 percent good shop with good guysService: Tires

We have had a few issues with this place. Overall their mechanics do a decent job and seem to for the most part know what they are doing. I have zero confidence in their ability to diagnose a problem or do any kind of investigating to find out what is causing the problem(s).We had to go in at least 3 times to fix the same serious problem with our engine before it was finally fixed. Cost us over $700 in the end and would have been more but they honored their own warranty so that s a big plus.

Today is Christmas Eve and I needed a replacement brake light! Five minutes to arrive & done in 10 minutes & only charged me $22. Excellent service, safe, clean environment. I'll be going back for all my automotive needs. Really nice gentlemen too! Thank you for making my day! Happy Holidays!

Been going here for years.But I suddenly stopped awhile ago.This whole time I been getting ripped off and taken advantage of.I finally noticed when I took my 83 camaro in for a power steering leak they had me pay 410.00 for a new gear box. when I woke up the next morning had a big puddle again. I called Kyle said it be 220.00 dollars to install a power steering pump really. I spent thousands there for years thought for sure I get the right customer service treatment. I was wrong I wentAnd did it myself for less than 80 bucks. NEVER LEAKED AGAIN. SO YES I WAS RIPPED OFF ON 410.00Stay awayREPLY TO RUSS UPDATE. Really Russ!!!! You know me and my wife , kids. How you gonna be like that. I should of received a phone call from you?? Offering a refund or a free service on my power steering pump. How bout you post all my history I've received from your shop and how much I spent?? I got money and always pay when you or Kyle recommend something. The whole time I been hosed. Stop replying your lying. Kyle said it was the gear box not the pump because it cost more how bout amost double. Typical salesman.. not true customer service.. look at your receipts potential customers. why you guys put zero's on some service lines??? Yes it's because your hosing customer's.. Go in for a low price oil change just to get sold too. Again typical salesman.. I'm not even going to waste my time responding to you this time. I just hope and pray I helped someone from getting ripped off.

Great prices and service. They helped me out when my outback got a flat. They easily could have just replaced the tires and make more money, but they repaired the flat, saved me a lot of money, and earned a loyal customer.

We took my wife's car in after a "drive thru" oil change place recommended we have a legit mechanic address an issue. They checked it out, recommended a cleaning product and asked if we could clean around the engine so they could more easily spot the leak. Brought it back after cleaning, inspected again, turns out the fix was a HUGE job for minimal benefit. Long story short, they inspected/evaluated our car twice, gave us a list of options and the various costs and charged us NOTHING. We even offered to pay something after the second visit and they wouldn't take our money. Definitely plan on giving them our business in the future.

We got an estimate for 4 tires and have a mechanic look at a shock in the rear of the car. And when we checked out it was 180.00 higher than the estimate. They put the car on a machine that wasn't authorized. And when questioned he tried to blame it on Federal Taxes. Heads-up They will take advantage of you and you can't even fight it. I will not go back there for any service.

Very disappointed the replaced my blinker it didn t last I took it in to have my tire replaced asked if they would ck wasn t working just had it replaced. I ve had my car for 10 yrs never need a blinker. So they charged me $35 on top of everything they charge a shop fee . I have sent them so much business I feel the took advantage of me. After some recommendations, my husband took in his car for a much needed oil change. Very good experience and FAST service. Less than 30 minutes to do the oil change compared to other places we've been to who take way way longer. Thanks guys! We'll definitely be back.

I had a great experience at NW Tire & Automotive!! Russ (and his wife) were very open upfront people. They did the work I needed at the right price. I admit I was skeptical because of another rating but I decided on giving them a chance, they are close to where I live, I am so glad I did! Wonderful work Russ!
