My lady friend brought her vehicle in to Casey to have the brakes done. Casey stated that she had plenty of life left on both the pads and rotors, while some other local shops would have replaced them. He didn't even charge for the inspection. While, I would encourage people to not take advantage of his kindness of inspections. I found it to be amazing customer service and we will definitely be back to have work done on both of our vehicles. Also, the price he quoted should the work be needed was much less than other shops in the area. Thank you to Casey for your honesty and time. To quote Arnold, "I'll be back".

My old garage wanted $600-800 to fix my window sprayers. My new auto repair, North Hill Auto, just fixed then for $85 AND he is 2 doors from the Wall Street Diner! Double score. It prolly took him all of 30 minutes and no greasy handprints either! Go Casey!

Honest, reasonable, gets the job done fast, has fixed up my aging Mazda that seems to always fall apart these days a few times, can always depend on Casey to do a great job

Called for a quote on timing belt. I was told they only have 1 mechanic who is a great mechanic but he only has time for basic general maintenance only. Also appointments booked 2-3 months in advance.

Reasonable, personable. Customer for over 13 years. Will tell me if something doesn't need to be done or needs something he doesn't handle. Casey is great. Also love that I can book an oil change, have breakfast next door and it's done when I return.

I got an outrageous estimate for a repair on my car from a local new car dealer service department. I was told by them that two major components of my car were defective and needed replacement. I decided to get a second opinion. I found North Hill Auto Repair and took my car to them. After dropping the car off I was called within an hour and told that the repair suggested by the car dealership service department was wrong and, in fact, there was no damage and nothing needed to be replaced or repaired. I was shocked. I was close to spending over $4,000 on a repair that I did not need. Fortunately, North Hill saved me. North Hill is now my "go to" place for any future automotive repair work. What a blessing to find such honesty. They didn't even charge me for examining the supposed damage!!!

My car had a pretty severe coolant leak and a whining noise and KC was able to get me in next day. He thoroughly explained to me what needed to be replaced and why and quoted me $670 to have my water pump, alternator, elbows and pulley replaced. The place I got my oil changed at quoted me $499 for just the water pump so I feel like I got a good deal. There is also a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty on labor and a lifetime part warranty. My red low coolant light isn't on anymore, no leaking coolant under the car, and no more whining noise. I will probably be taking my car here from now on.

The first time I worked with him, I had a heater go out in an old mazda 323. I had gotten quotes from three different shops, Casey's was the low bid, so I gave him the shot - so glad I did! Casey is the best mechanic in Spokane! I'm glad I found him over 25 years ago. He has serviced everyone of the 12 vehicles I have had over the years. His work ethic is best in class! If he is unable to do the work that is required, he always had the name of a shop who was able to do that specialized work. He listens to what is going on and shares what he finds as he troubleshoots the issue. Casey is amazing! My engine light was on and I just dropped in without an appointment. He was really busy but took the time to figure out what was wrong right away and had my parts there within 10 minutes. He squeezed me in the books and also happened to notice that my front brakes were past their end of life and is going to do those for me as well. He's done great work for me in the past. No nonsense, fast and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

It has been a tough couple of years to get auto repairs scheduled and done. Despite this, Casey always manages to help me out however he possibly can. The combination of quality work and cost at North Hill Auto Repair is so much better than what I typically find on the coast where I live that, when I can, I wait until I'm going to be in Spokane or driving through to somewhere else to have my vehicle worked on here. I have been doing this for years, and will probably be doing it for as long as Casey keeps hanging on and making the results as great for customers like me as they have been.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brakes

Casey is honest, reasonably priced and very good at explaining things in a way anyone could understand. As a woman, getting my car worked on is intimidating but I dont feel this way at North Hill.

Casey was fantastic! I'm so glad I called him! He got me in within a couple of days and for a very reasonable price I got my brakes fixed! He was very accommodating and professional... I'll definitely be going back!

Local owner in same location10+ years. Ready at scheduled time. Did a complete brake job on my RAV for $320 less than Schwabb quote. Did engine work on F150...plugs and coils..truck has never ran so good. Nice, honest guy who is an excellent mechanic and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

As a single, retired oh, it makes a difference to know I can trust the person working on my car. And this is truly a local shop owned and operated by Casey Stevens. He does excellent work, is extremely fair in his pricing, never upsells a bunch of work that doesn't need to be done. I've taken my car to him now for over 5 years and refer him to all of my friends. Every person has been very impressed. And they are referring their friends. This is truly the last mechanic you will need.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Casey is amazing, and works fast. Three times now I've had him check my car out and the first time he told me only one motor mount needed to be done compared to Mechanic's Pride telling me they needed to do all of them. The other 2 times he's told me that my car is just fine when he could have easily gotten a ton of money out of me. He's also given my husband rides to and from the shop when our car has had to be taken in. I love this shop and I will recommend them to everyone I know.

I have taken my rav4 with 200k+ miles to Casey at North Hill several times now and am amazed by how honest, quick, and inexpensive he is. I've never had a mechanic explain so clearly what the issue is and the best steps to remedy it and then complete the repairs so quickly; usually within the day. When our car broke down 5 days after arriving in Spokane from Iowa, I found North Hill auto on a whim. I'm so glad that I did!! They got us in right away and got some MAJOR work done within 3 days (including the time it took to order parts!). Casey was so helpful and kept us updated the entire time. He took the time to explain what was wrong, what his plan was, and answered all of our questions. We got estimates up front, and prices were incredibly reasonable. Honest prices and great quality of work. We will absolutely be going to North Hill for all of our repair needs.

Casey is beyond helpful and does excellent work for a reasonable price. He is my go to car guy for literally everything. When it is something he can't do he always provides recommendations for a place that can. My whole family brings their cars here. Can not recommend them enough!

Casey is a life saver. My daughter is college student in Spokane and I'm a worried and out of state father trying to keep my daughters car running and safe. Very honest shop! I had these guys do some work on my front suspension and they did a great job, and my car drives do much better! Thanks guys! And since the job didn't take as long as he thought it would, he charged me LESS than what was quoted. Very professional! I recommend!

I don't always break my suvs but when I do.. Kasey is the man I call. He is knowledgeable and patient, easy to tell this man loves what he does, going far above and beyond what any gal could ask for.. never have I worried if I was going to e taken advantage when I take my cars in I know he is going to listen to my complaints and diagnosis the problem, fixing them without adding on that there is another major issue going to cost hundreds or more to fix like some places still do to women. He even takes the time to explain which parts he has worked on. Was so happy with Casey's work, he had my car in and out within hours. Such integrity and he was friendly as can be. The shop was welcoming and spotless. The cost of repairs was low and so grateful to him for fixing the problem as I was afraid it was major, but he assured me it wasn't. Hence I was able to keep my arms and legs via the low cost. He run's what we called in the old days, a hand shake kinda business. Thank you so much Casey!!!

Casey is really good and honest. I've had dealers do an oil change on my car and tell me I need new brakes; had Casey check it and he said "Yeah, you will in about 6-8 months."

On the road from Minnesota thought I needed my brakes done due to some squeaking coming from the rotors. Dropped my car off there for new brakes less than a half hour later the mechanic called me and notified me that my brakes were still solid and it was just squeaking from rust not the pad notifier. They could have easily charged me 300.00 dollars for new brakes and I would have been none the wiser but instead were honest and professional charging me nothing. Highly recommend!!
