Would recommend Hopkins to anyone in the market for a great Subaru. Got a great deal on a quality car. We ran into a mechanical issue and Hopkins handled it swiftly and made sure we were taken care of. Great home town service.

Hopkins did an amazing job of servicing my 2009 Subaru Forester I purchased from them several years ago. They scheduled it quickly, trouble shot some dash board light issues and performed other minor repairs to this old car with 178,000 miles. All of this was done quickly and for a super fair price. Runs like it is just getting broken in!Thank you Hopkins!

See my review of Spokane Subaru service department...Hopkins is where I take my Subaru for the professionalism and care that Spokane Subaru could never provide! Their mechanics know Subarus, take good care inspecting and providing services... they are quick and courteous... and their rates are a fraction of the dealership. I don't know why I ever left Hopkins. These folks are really great.

I was impressed with the promptness of their ability to schedule my repair. My interaction with Cody and McKenna was excellent, the repair cost was so reasonable and even the technician added a note to the work order on how to avoid my issue in the future! I m going to make my shop, Hopkins.

At the risk of my repeating myself (seriously, if I am remiss and didn't review Hopkins before) I can't recommend this shop enough. A year or so ago, I pulled a Forester out of downtown Subaru, in desperation, knowing they were screwing me. I had the car towed to Hopkins and they had the expertise and honesty to get my car running perfectly again for probably a 1/5th of what "corporate repair world" was going to do for me. Today, it literally happened again: I don't want to get anyone in trouble, but I can tell you truthfully they didn't even charge me a full hour of labor to diagnose and fix a problem with my car. Now, I can buy my wife a real diamond for Christmas instead of that fake one I was planning on buying! ;) Thank you, Hopkins!!

Always honest about repairs, they communicate well, and estimates are always very close to what they quote. I recommend any Subaru owner to give them a chance.

Decided to have my daughter's engine replaced in her 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek. Cody was very helpful in pointing out that the original issue I wanted fixed was going to be within approx $2000 to what a new engine would cost. The original engine already had approx: 225,000 miles. Cody was patient with all my questions and concerns. Once I decided to go ahead and replace the engine, they had a pretty quick turnaround time from the moment I agreed to the replacement engine. I've had Hopkins do previous work on my daughter's Crosstrek and I've been very happy with their services/repairs and their technicians/mechanics. Previously, they even saved me from spending money ($400'ish) on a maintenance issue that I thought was needed. After they inspected, they told me it wasn't needed. Honesty is a plus!

My vehicle was running fine but had some indicator lights on that I wanted to get diagnosed. Two trips and $2,300 later vehicle is running worse than ever. Hope others have a better experience, seems to be a good shop and maybe I just have bad luck.

Absolutely the best car repair experience anyone could ask for. I am naturally a hard person to impress, they went above and beyond to defend us against a dealership that screwed us over. While giving us the time to have the repair done when we where financially able. While they watched over the car in the spare time. Taking it into the shop every night to ensure the safety of our car. Holding the dealership accountable for part of the repair when they tryed to ditch the bill. Wonderful shop I am truly honestly happy to say I am impressed.

Cody and his team did an amazing job. My car was sent here after getting screwed over from a dealership. I needed a new head gasket, valve covers, hoses, rebuild on the turbo, etc. They got everything done quicker than you'd think and did a great job! Thanks again!

This place is great--I cannot imagine ever going anywhere else--I trust them to be honest, timely, communicative, and basically the whole experience of having my Subaru maintained is always positive! When it came time to buy a new car, it had to be a Subaru as much because I was attached to Hopkins as the make of the car!

Major repair work was needed for my 2004 Subaru Outback. Hopkin s quote was half the price of the dealership. Repair was done within a week, which is the time they quoted. Staff stayed in contact with me and kept me informed during the repair process. My car is like brand new again. Here s to another 20 years and 150000 miles.

We have used Hopkins for some time now for repairs on our 2010 Outback. I had the timing belt replaced and noticed some burning oil smell they took the vehicle back and cleaned the engine and noticed a leak from a spot and did the repair free of charge. I would recommend them always.

My car was having issues and I got it towed here on short notice from AAA. The front desk employee McKenna was incredibly sweet, helpful, and patient. I had dealt with another shop where those people were so short and rude during a stressful time. McKenna just made the situation easier to deal with and even helped me out when I forgot to take my house keys off my key ring and was understanding the whole time. She is an awesome employee and has a great attitude. The other employee that called me to update me about my car was also incredibly nice and helpful. I forget his name but he clearly outlined my vehicle's issues and answered my questions thoroughly. I would take my car here again in a heartbeat and I'm really glad it ended up in their hands over the other auto shop I had gone to. When things happen to our vehicles it is so stressful because it takes away your ability to do so many things and is always costly and in my experience a lot of auto shops can just be really short with you, have no compassion and sometimes be really rude. Hopkins Auto Sales was the opposite of that so if you want to have a positive experience and be met with humanity and feel like you and your vehicle are cared about I HIGHLY suggest Hopkins.

Customer service was great. Quite helpful with dealing with Progressive insurance company. However, they told me that they had the parts needed to repair my car and that once the repairs were approved, they would begin repairs immediately. The approval came through on Monday. It is now Wednesday and I just called them. They told me that they had just barely begun the repairs because they had had to wait for parts and that it would still be another 2 or 3 days until my car was ready. Still seems to be a good company, just don't expect to get your car back on time.

Hopkins is simply the best. Honest, knowledgeable, reliable,and reasonable. They go out of their way to save you money.Wouldn't take my Sub anywhere else !

I would give so many more stars if possible!! The folks at Hopkins have been extraordinary to work with! We have always been given doomsday quotes that would cost thousands of dollars when dealing with the Subaru dealership directly. Enter Hopkins. They came with a raving review for being a Subaru specific service center. They have gone way above expectations for us. They have amazingly competitive prices and their service cannot be beat. I would gladly pay more for the level of care, communication and compassion that they have shown us. Additionally, I recently returned with a related problem that they were not able to address (exhaust issue) and they did the leg work to call around, get a great deal on the fix that we needed and I should have my car on the road at a great price right away. Cody and Kevin have been incredible to work with and there is no way that we will take our Subaru anywhere else now. Thank you, Hopkins! You are amazing!!!

Again as Usual, As always excellent service! I wouldn t take my Subaru to any other mechanic!! Got my sons 94 Legacy back on the road quickly and at a very reasonable price!Do not take your Subaru anywhere else!

I've been to many mechanic's over the years. Hopkins tops them all. I bought my car from them 3 years ago and haven't gone to another mechanic since.'Fast friendly service' a cliche but TRUE.All the people working here treat me like family. They are willing to answer all my questions and thoroughly explain the work needed on my car, even showing me pictures!They are honest. A hard quality to find in a mechanic shop, these days. I will always recommend this family owned shop.After seeing other reviews, I'd say Hopkins Automotive does get busy, but you can always call in and check on your car. Remember they are a small shop. The work that gets done is worth the wait.I'm moving to Seattle soon but I'll be driving the 300+ miles to have Hopkins work on my car.They are the Best of the Best in Spokane.

Not a trust worthy place to take your car. I had a terrible experience with Hopkins. I usually don't trash talk places, but you will be very disappointed with the service and work done to your car.

Most honest, reliable and best shop in town, PERIOD! Fair honest prices with a quick turnaround that we can always count on! If you own a Subaru don't waste your time at the dealer always take it to Hopkins!!

I actually give them a 10! We have now purchased two Subaru's from Hopkins, and each time our experience has been exceptional. They go above and beyond to be sure we are satisfied with our purchase. Some issues came up after we drove off the lot with our latest purchase, and they bent over backwards to make things right, even though we bought the car with no warranty. I have never experienced such friendly, exceptional service!It's always a pleasure to speak with Kevin and Cody. They are such pleasant and professional young men. I will refer anyone looking for a used Subaru to Hopkins and will continue to patronize them for all my Subaru needs. They are top-notch!

I give Cody, Kevin, and the Hopkins mechanics my highest recommendation. It is rare to find a business with old school values, where the customer is respected and treated with professionalism and care. They are honest, hardworking, and fair.While at Hopkins Automotive, I witnessed other customers saying thank you for the many ways the work done had gone beyond expectations.I noticed Kevin answered the phone by saying I can help you , which is much different then how can I help you . It s the little positive things that they do that make them different. It is refreshing to see young employees offering the old fashion service that you don t find anymore.My story: My Denali was making a bad sound while traveling from Yakima to Helena. I called Cody about 20 min from Spokane and he said bring it by. When I arrived my car was being looked over immediately. I needed a new transfer case, the parts were ordered and would arrive the next day. Cody then paid for my ride to get a rental car, and also lined up a discount for me on the rental car. The next day, Cody kept me updated, and in less then 24 hours they had fixed my car and had me back on the highway to Helena.One last note: On my way out of Spokane I knew I needed windshield wiper fluid as I had ran out near Yakima. I noticed they had also filled up my windshield wiper fluid. Outstanding!

We purchased our Subaru from Hopkins about 4 yrs ago and have been very pleased with the service and love our Subaru! The staff are always personal and have worked with our schedules. Because the mechanics have kept our car running smoothly we highly recommend Hopkins! No disappointments here.

I have found my mechanic! I was quoted over $500 to fix my car by another local shop and Hopkins fixed it for $160! And they were fast and did excellent work! I highly recommend them and I trust them. Ladies, you know how important this is. Seriously. Love these guys. Thank you so so much.
