Bobs service center takes advantage of people without knowledge of vehicles. I paid to have my power steering pump fixed and when I received the vehicle back, the power steering fluid resivoir was cracked in the parking lot. At first the were going to blame me until I doubled down that it was never like this before. Upon replacing the resivoir, the bad sound that my car makes still exists. I already spent 3351 for them to fix it! When I bring my car back for another inspection it has a nearly flat tire. They collect my 170 dollars and tell me they did a full road test on it, but they never even aired up the tire. When you call them and ask for receipts it takes 3 days, probably because they know you re going to a new mechanic and they re going to get exposed as taking advantage of the guy with no vehicle knowledge. I hate making reviews and I hate seeming like a Karen but if you are thinking about going to bobs because AAA recommended it, think again. If it s something past an oil change or tire rotation I genuinely would never trust them again to treat my vehicle like it was theirs.

Bob s was able to get my car in the same day I called, ordered parts & ready the next day they are great to talk to, knowledgeable & all around the kind of people you want to deal with when you re having car issues! Definitely will recommend them to my friends & family

Spoke with two different employees both were overwhelmingly professional and informative. Did the job for less than I was quoted did a full vehicle inspection and gave me advice about timelines for different future repairs and maintenance. They made sure I was as informed as possible regarding every part of my vehicle before we said our goodbyes. I will be using this facility as my go to from now on as well as recommending it to all of my friends and loved ones.Service: Oil change

I've had my car serviced / repaired at Bob's Service Center three times now. They've always done a great job and been fair. The most recent experience was just this last week, my car steering was acting weird and was having a hard time turning. I dropped it off Tuesday afternoon, and by the next day, they had it fixed. Apparently the power steering pump had come loose. Grant was my mechanic and he did an excellent job. Super nice and provided an awesome experience. Would recommend to all my friends. And R&R Heating where I work, get's all our vans & trucks serviced here.

First of all They did not Confirm my appointment when their website said they would.i showed up anyway just to be on the safe side only to find out they wont work on cars as old as mine.(1992) when their website clearly lets you make appointments including that year. Completely unprofessional. Waist of time.

After having intermittent trouble with my 2013 Toyota Tundra 4wd light flashing and the Ck Engine light coming on and off, having it into 3 shops for a total of more than 2 months, 2 shops declined to even take a look at it and Bob s Service Center had it diagnosed, parts ordered and had it repaired in 24 hours. I had to drive it for a couple of days to feel like it s finally back to 100%!! NICE WORK GUYS!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My car suddenly started leaking a fluid, but I couldn t tell what it was. It was a very slow leak, a couple drops per night. I took it to the downtown Honda dealer, they had a huge list of things that they said needed to be fixed, total was $8200. I went to Bob s service center to get a second opinion. I didn t tell them what Honda said, but just asked them to investigate and fix the leak. They told me the only leak was the CV boot, the grease was melting in the heat, and basically spraying all over the bottom side of the engine. Anyway, they replaced the CV Boot, the leak completely stopped. I told them about all the other stuff Honda said, they checked it all and said none of it had to be done. Extremely disappointed with Honda, but super happy with and now feel like I can trust Bob s service center. These guys are truly amazing! I have an older car that has been having a couple odd things go out lately and they always keep me updated on the processes and what needs to be done. They even take the time to explain to me what went wrong with the parts that need to be replaced so I don t feel like there s ever any mystery to what s going on while my car is in their hands. Grant is really amazing and has been able to get me into the shop same day on a couple of occasions. So I brought my car in for a specific issue to be resolved (the five minute drive from my home to their location recreated the issue). Their diagnosis wasn't successful and they didn't fix the issue, but they charged me $96 for it anyway. All further charges for diagnoses weren't appropriately communicated prior.The locations I've brought my vehicle to prior, such as Martin's Auto Services, will both repair and diagnose your vehicle's issues. The gentlemen here were very friendly and outgoing, but I recommend against this location if you don't have an incredibly specific issue that only they can tend to (to which they will do a good job).

Anothony is right, I brought my truck in for repair. At first they said diagnostic fee would be 172. They charged me way more. And they said they found the problem and would fix it. After paying 402 and believe them, my car still had the issue the next day and would not start. I called them to let them know and asked if they can look into and resolve the unsolved issue they promised to fix, yet charged me 402 dollars for. They said I would have to book another appointment and pay again for the diagnose and service. Really unfortunate. Waste of money. And time.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection

I really needed headlights but Napa told me my car had been modified for special led lights. They got me in right away, switched the headlights back to factory installed and got me out the door! Very impressive customer service. Another shop referred me to Bobs and I am very grateful because they did a great job.

Called them to get a quote on pulling the motor on my 1990 Bronco. They do not work on rigs that old but Grant gave me book times and recommended another shop. During our conversation, I picked up on the fact that this shop is extremally honest and tries to be helpful which are hard to find qualities these days. Thanks again.

Great service, everyone is very polite and took the time to explain the technical details. I left my car with them for 5 days and they weren t able to diagnose my check engine light which had been flashing, but they did fix a squeaky drive belt and gave me a fair price. Was not happy with the service. Had to wipe oil from transmission and engine oil that was dripping. Mechanic did not see that cv boot was off. I found out by looking under truck with a bad back. Payed over 1000.00 dollars. Will be going to a professional place.

EDIT: I went in a second time, same awesome experience. Grant is a rockstar like no one else. they even have separate seating and coffee/soda while you wait. I'm never going anywhere else.WOW! A friend told me Bob s was trustworthy and I was not disappointed. As someone who doesn t know much about cars and is weary of sketchy mechanics I can say Bob s exceeded my expectations by so much. They got me the best deal they could on a big repair, worked with me and explained my options, and even gave me a ride home. My car needed fixed and Grant was very knowledgeable and specific as to what was the issue with my car and got my car in and fixed as well as clean due to the leak of the part that was replaced. I stopped in at Bob's Service Center to inquire about having my Lexus GX 470 transmission flushed. I was greeted by Grant Smith (manager) who told me about their Toyota certified mechanic, the process they used as well as the products. I felt both assured and comfortable so I set the appointment. After dropping my vehicle off, it seemed that it was only minutes that Grant called me to say the job was completed and I could pick up it up. I looked over the interior to make sure there were no greasy hand prints like I've found after services elsewhere....it was clean as a whistle! The transmission is smooth as silk! I was so satisfied that my wife suggested we should take her Subaru to them for the timing belt / water pump service. It goes in this Friday.Bottom line is this; Grant and his crew truly care about doing the job once and to your complete satisfaction! They wanted over $1400 for what was basically described as a 60,000 mile tune up.They were very friendly butanother shop downtown offered FREE diagnosis, explained everything wrong in great detail and fixed it all part and labor for less then $700.So if you go here get quotes from every other place first in Spokane.$800 for labor you kidding me!I wasted $150 on a diagnosis!Go downtown and get qoutes

I've had bobs work on 4 different vehicles and they have never once had a problem diagnosing or fixing the problem.They have infact diagnosed and fixed problems that wendle ford could not(I own a ford ranger) and when I come in because I need them to check out why my steering wheel shakes after hitting a curb they could have ripped my wallet a new hole and say I need to fix this and that but they said the least expensive thing(bent rim) they arnt just trying to cash grab. They want you as a life time customer!

The battery light came on in our 2006 Honda Odyssey. They were able to diagnose the electrical issue and determined that the alternator had gone bad. They quickly replaced it and got us back on the road. We really appreciated the professionalism, communication, and they saved us some money compared to quotes with other companies. We love Bob's. They have worked on both of our cars. When you stop in or call Bob's you get genuine service, which is hard to find these days. They're honest about what you need done and what can wait. They do a fantastic job of quoting and completing work on time. When I bought my car I started noticing oil leaking in my garage about a week later. I called and took it to Bob's. It turned out to just be a drain plug, but they looked the car over and went above and beyond a normal inspection.
