I debated leaving this review as I really trusted this place and the people were super friendly and low pressure. We were very satisfied with the actual buying experience.The problem is the car they sold us has only had more and more issues. They showed us service records for things we have already had to replace again and there were some serious issues that should have been caught by the dealership in their inspection of the car. I have already put thousands into repairs, far above asking price. We reached out to the dealership and they said there wasn't much we could do other than trade in the vehicle, after we had spent money on repairs.The person that sold us the car was nice and recommended a good auto shop. Unfortunately, I can't leave a good review as the car itself has been nothing but problems.

I've owned only about 3 cars(counting this one)in my lifetime and nothing has been a refreshing experience as buying a car from here specifically with Reilly as your salesman. I felt no pressure, no obligation. He just told me to find something I like and what fits me and he can make it work. And he did! I wanted something simple. Something practical. My late father have always wanted this specific car when he was around and it beckoned to me. He made sure everything would be good right out the gate. He had the AC charged, replaced the dome light, did all the necessary paperwork/steps to be less stressful as possible, and told me if anything else needs doing to the car to just let him know. He even comped a keyless entry for me because it didn't come with one! Seriously a good dude! I can't recommend this place and him enough. Give this place a go. I'll definitely refer my friends here.

Had a great experience with Automotives Specialties! Bought a Subaru Outback Sport from them in July 2023. Ric, the salesman, was a pleasure to work with and made the process super smooth. They take care of all paperwork, so no hassle with the DMV! A few days after purchasing the car, it suffered from a radiator failure. Automotives Specialties got me into a shop and covered the repair costs for radiator replacement. I am a satisfied customer for sure

If you are looking for a car I wouldn't recommend anywhere BUT here! Ask for Ric Andrade. It was my first time buying from a lot and I couldn't be happier! The whole place made me feel comfortable and like I could trust them. They worked me through all the steps when I had questions and made sure I left happy. Go see Ric!

Edit. This is a warning to others not a plea for help.Just don't. The car I bought from them leaks. Engine leaks, and sunroof leaks into the car to the point the headliner is soaked. I've only had it for 3 months and have already dropped well over 2k into repairs on just the engine. They did a really good job cleaning the engine to make it look like it didnt leak severely. I'm gonna have to have the headliner replaced and sunroof resealed which will be at least 1k. I get it's a used car but the severity of the engine leak could not have been something that was overlooked. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!

Had the pleasure of working with Andy. He made the car buying process smooth and easy and never once felt pressured. If you're into haggling and uncomfortable back forth, I'd suggest you go somewhere else. Andy was excellent.

I ve had such a positive experience all around through the whole process of buying my new Subaru. I don t have the best credit but they were able to work with me and help me to get financing! Ron has been super awesome through the whole process and has been enjoyable to work with! 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a new ride definitely the place to go!

Not only are the workers here awesome, but they are so helpful! I went in not knowing if I was going to walk away with anything, but they did everything in their power to help me out! Andy was totally awesome and helped by showing what I can get in my price range. :) I am very grateful for their service ;)

My wife wanted to get me a car due to my recent graduation from Grad School and I found a really neat car at this dealership. I called and spoke with Andy and he became my go-to guy. Laid back, super friendly, no pressure, the entire car buying experience was awesome! I recommend anyone who may be in the market for a quality used car to check out this dealership... and ask for Andy!!!

**The response from the owner just makes me giggle. If you would like to speak with the location that is dealing with the terrible oil leak we can give you the information. There was no appointment made for a window because we could never get a hold of Calvin and when Stefany told us to bring it in he wouldn t be available or wasn t there. Please don t use the excuse that we couldn't get our own financing. I think it s pretty low of you to use that against us. There are plenty of people who need help getting financing and this should never be used against someone. You paid a monthly payment of $566 for us because you could not get someone to fix what you said you would and I gave you credit for that. At least you have some compassion. There are many other issues with this Acura that were not listed. Unfortunately, we don t get to pay for just parts and have to pay people for labor now as well and it has been in three times for this oil leak. It began with having to replace gaskets because the oil was all over. thanks for everything **I m going to give a two star just because there was some effort put in on their end. My husband and I bought two cars from them toward the beginning of the year (might have been April). We were really looking for a car for my daughter who has just started driving but ended up trading in my vehicle and got two. We did test drive the vehicles and all seemed fine (please please please, have a mechanic look at a vehicle before purchasing). That was the first mistake we made. I think if we would have had a professional look at these they would have told use to run. The first red flag was the engine light going off in the Escalade on the drive home. We called and were toldIt was only for emissions and not to worry it was fine. Second red flag was the moment I pulled into my driveway with a hard right turn the most awful tire rub sound happened. They did say to bring it back in and they would see what was going on. We had to bring both vehicles back in because the Acura we bought had a window that wouldn t go down. ANYWAY- we were told the Escalade needed new struts, no problem they will fix it there were problems. After not having the vehicle back for MONTHS we finally got it back and it sounded like a rubber chicken driving down the road. I begged my husband to take it to the Escalade dealership to see what the heck was going on.. so he did and they said the bushings were very bad and a couple other things. Tried to call automotive for just over a week with no luck until my husband finally went in there. They did give us one months payment for the Escalade for having it so long which was nice and the rubber chicken sound is now gone . Engine light still on and the rubbing of the tire still there!! But I m not going back to them.NOW . This Acura what a piece. We have spent over 2K on an oil leak!! It was so bad to start. The alternator is bad. I understand that buying a used car will come with risks, but this is crazy. I think to date we have spent more than the car is worth just trying to fix it. This will not be a car for my daughter. It is very dangerous. The car has many other fixes we have to get done but have to save the money for. Please please please be cautious with this dealership. Please have the vehicle looked at by a mechanic before buying.

This place is the most upfront and honest dealership I have purchased a vehicle from. This is the second vehicle we have purchased here, and I also brought my daughter here to buy her car from them. They stand behind their vehicles like I ve never seen a used lot do. I will never but anywhere else.

This is our third time buying from Automotive Specialties and each time Ric has gone above and beyond to help our family get exactly what we are looking for at the best deal. He s so communicative and goes above and beyond, even on his days off, to help in the whole car buying process. This is the best and easiest car buying experience by far. We could not be more thankful for this business and Ric!

Three essential things matter to me when I m about to buy a car:1) I want to avoid wasting the $5,000 or even $10,000 it would cost me (in immediate depreciation) when I drove a new car off the lot. (So previously owned is essential.)2) Salespeople so personable and professional that I d refer friends to them if I knew they might be looking for a car.3) Honesty about any issues with a car I might be considering so I can see that the price is fair and know about any additional investment I might need to make to have it be like new again.Finally, both Calvin and Stephanie each went well out of their way to help me get exactly the car I wanted, even though I wasn t clear which car that would be when I stepped into their store.

I recently bought a new to me car with the folks at Automotive Specialties. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Aaron was friendly, helpful, and informative. I never felt pressured and drove off the lot in what has turned out to be exactly the car I needed. I will buy my next car here and will recommend them to all my friends and family. Ask for Aaron! He was really great. Though the whole team was just swell.

Ric was phenomenal, with handling many kids with us and patience through the roof, we definitely will look at them again if we ever are in need of another vehicle!I appreciate his straightforwardness about unusual sale of my vehicle and his great offer on the trade-in (from my previous experience with other dealerships, they would be cheap with your trade-in, but not at Automotive Specialties!)You WILL want to look at this place, they will give you good deals and be honest with you. You do prefer honest people!

Reilley sold me a 2011 Nissan Juke as my first car and I couldn t be happier to have found this place. I went to so many car lots all over town where the salesmen were rude and pushy with sneaky sales tactics. But here the atmosphere was very friendly, no pressure, and thankfully a very easy process. They have a lot of great looking cars and unique models in their lot so if you re looking for affordable with good selection this is the place. My screen name here is different than my real name but I m sure you ll remember me by the car I just bought. Thanks again, you made my whole year!

When looking to buy a new used rig where do you even begin to look? The intimidation factor when looking for a car is so real and I did not want to fall victim to buying something that was not going to really work for us. Well, we found the answer and it is right here with this dealership! We worked personally with Rick, who was amazing by the way! He understood what we were looking for and helped us to pick out the best rig we could get.My daughter bought a rig from him last month and then as it turned out I went back and also bought a rig yesterday.The entire staff from start to finish made us feel comfortable and confident in our purchases. I had the pleasure of purchasing my dream car from Stephanie. To say she's a very hard worker and cares about her job is an absolute understatement. Passion and communication, definitely her strong suit. A little hiccup thanks to a third party, totally out of our control, she handled it like a pro. Calvin is absolutely no slouch either! He had us approved (an an astronomically low rate by the way) and out the door as fast as the Mustang they sold us! That's how a car buying experience should be. Quick, easy, and to the point! I got my first car here that I loved and never had any issues with. After having my daughter it was time to get something bigger for my family so I came straight back to Automotive Specialities. SOOOOOO glad I did! I had the best experience with Ric Pops Andrade. Super helpful, honest, and will crack you up a time or two.This team actually cares and works with you! I wouldn t recommend anywhere else if you re looking for a quality used car. Shout out to Ric!!!

Made the move from Tennessee to Spokane and bought my vehicle here with the help of Ric. A great family business that cares about its customers, and that was definitely proven to me through my interactions with him over the purchasing process. He was extremely helpful and kind both in business and friendly conversations, not to mention he can shred a guitar too.With all the stress that comes with moving across the country I can truly say that figuring out a vehicle situation ended up being completely stress free thanks to Ric. I had been shopping around for a used Subaru for a couple days, and this store had more Subaru's in stock than the other stores I had looked at. Aaron Austin was a magnificent person to work with, even with juggling multiple people at the same time. He wasn't pushy, or just trying to get me into any car, as I was looking specifically for a Subaru. He was very knowledgeable about his inventory and cars in general. He took extra care to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase once I had test drove a couple of them and made my pick. 10/10 I will recommend him to anyone looking for a down to earth and knowledgeable salesman. I felt that he built a great rapport with understanding of what I was looking for.
