Really cool, i like small shop like these, but reason i put 4 stars is because the prices were just a bit to high for used stuff that wasn't guaranteed to not brake on me? Idk but otherwise very nice people, and appreciate the store.

These guys are awesome very few shops will even touch classic Japanese motorcycles these guys specialize in them. They worked on both my bikes sorting out mechanical, electrical and cosmetic they did a great job. Thank You

I was impressed by the sales floor and this seems to be a good shop. I gave 3 stars because I did not feel welcomed in fact I felt quite the opposite. I went in looking for parts and info for my Apollo 250. (I realize it's not a great bike) My coil tested good but the plug end tested faulty so he threw a new one on the counter and charged me 8 bucks and sent me on my way. Long story short, he seemed to busy to talk to me and I still don't have my bike running. (It ran great the day before I came in.) I'll give him another shot another day but I wasn't impressed by customer service this time.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Three times I've been into this shop and not once was I met with any kind of customer service or even common courtesy. I'm not some jerk who walks into a place and demands service either. he did not seem to care or want my business for whatever reason and I will not ever be returning to his shop. I highly suggest you do the same.

Very helpful with getting me some new handle bars, came out and looked at the bike to get me down the road with what I was looking for!

I had to travel to Spokane for a family medical emergency. 2000 miles from home and needed an oil change for the ride back. They were great and fit me in. Very nice people and work on all kinds of bikes.

Great shop that specializes in older bike restorations. They take great pride in that. Have always been treated well there. They have a salvage yard in back that you can sometimes find parts you need. Jimmy has always been a great guy to deal with.

I called ahead because I had a very specific problem that no one else before had been able to solve. I communicated clearly to him what I needed and he said that they could probably take care of it. So I drove from Coeur d'Alene at $5 a gallon, walked in the front door, and they immediately went, "nah, we have nothing like that." I TOLD you the size!

Purchased 2 used front tires and had them install on the wheels, both tires are garbage and leak air from the side walls (not repairable) because it is caused by dry rot. So I Assume that their techs DO NOT CHECK THEIR WORK

Called around getting quotes on some repairs for my bike. The guy I spoke with acted like it was the biggest inconvenience to even help me. Their quote was lower than anywhere else, but it's because they're using old, used parts instead of new! I would rather pay more and know the parts are gonna last then be back doing the repairs again in however many months! Then my friend takes a tire in for repair and they freaking put it on backwards! Seriously?! What kind of reputable shop can't even put a tire on correctly and then lies to customers about their parts being used? Of course you're cheaper than anywhere when you don't use new parts! Dishonesty at it's finest.

Called in looking for a specific item, but I was informed that they don't inventory their stock and that they have a pick-and-pull system in their salvage yard. I showed up, the owner pointed me in the right direction and let me browse at my leisure and as soon as I had found what I was looking for, I brought it inside and the owner made a price quote which I felt was fair and promptly purchased the item. Overall, pretty laid back buying experience with friendly people. I will come again if I need something else.

Purchased a scooter from a third party, after purchase notice severe fire damage in motor, called different places Allen's cycles said they would work on it, took up there the gal checked it in, after a week I called them had not heard a word, they told me they should have never taken it but if I order the parts they'll work on it for me, (should have been a red flag for me but) dropped off over 150 in parts after three weeks I stopped in and found out they really didnt want to work on it all, never gave me the parts I ordered and purchased back, charged me $50 for servicing that they really didnt do anything, kept the scooter cause they convinced me it was unrepairable and too damaged. In the end dont trust gave me a huge run around, a very expensive hard lesson to learn

Jim Allen has a wealth of experience and knowledge in regards to parts. He had everything I needed for my 1982 xr100 in stock. On top of this he recommend a harbor freight heater to keep warm while working in my garage over the winter. Jim has a well stocked parts shop and will be my first stop for all my future needs. Oh and his prices will make you smile!

Been using Allen's for decades. Great father and son business honest work with honest prices. If I cant find a part I call up Allen's and they find it for me. Great for moto, quads and snowmobiles. Parts or repair.

I brought my crf250r for a simple carb clean and they chipped my piston, god only knows how, then after that they told me it needed a rebuild and I agreed to it, just wanted my bike ready to ride for the summer, after they said they finished the bike and it would start up first or second kick, I took my bike home only to notice it was missing so many bolts and it wouldn t start, they must have put started fluid in the bike so it would start and I wouldn t notice they were screwing me over, very scummy people, would highly recommend going to another motorcycle shop. Very bad expensive experience

Took my bike in there a few years ago to get a "quote" on how much it would cost to get it running. I told them Do NOT do any work without calling me. I wondered why it took so long when they finally did call and tell me my bikes fixed and need to come get it out of the shop. I told them I only wanted a quote. I was told if they knew that, I'd be told to go elsewhere and to get it out of the shop or they'd sell it. I had to pull my retirement funds to get it out. I was extremely pissed! Then when I went to their salvage, they watched me like I was going to steal...very rude! I will not and have not gone back.

My fianc brought his atv in. They had it for a month waiting on parts. Fixed a couple things charged him $850 For parts and labor. We got it back on Friday and my fianc left it sitting the the back of his truck over night. Came out the next morning and there was oil all over the truck bed from the atv. When they put the seals on they were broken. I don t know why someone would put a broken seal back on. Not too fond of the work they did. You would think if your paying almost $1000 they would have actually fixed the atv. Literally the atv started twice since we have had it. Now not starting again!! So wasted money on it!

Also slow and untimely fashion. Brought simple tire change to them and they said done by noon, was not able to pick up till next day. Also could go for used parts in his yard if he wasn't more expensive than new. Went to get seat wanted sixty bucks for a seat that was all tore up and wanted sixty dollars for a rusted out gas tank with pin holes in it. If you need a part order it new somewhere else.

I came in from CDA for a key for a really old Honda. I didn't find the right key but the guy that was there was incredibly helpful and personable. I don't know anything about motorcycles or this particular key but he didn't make me feel stupid or like I was a burden like so many other places have. Will definitely be recommending this place.

Have had both my 1979 Suzuki 750 and my kids GT 80 serviced here. Prices are cheaper then most I looked into. Also only place that would work on an 1974 motorcycle and rebuild the engine. Winter is always the best for major projects, and they tell you that up front. Won't take my stuff anywhere else.

Brought my 85 honda xr 200 there, took a little for parts to get there but as soon as they got there they put it together. Bike ran beautiful. It blow a part while riding it, they offered to fix for free. Love the experience and their dedication to assist. Highly recommended

Went in here with a friend, was super disappointed. The customer service was awful and the employees didn't seem knowledgeable about his bike at all. Don't waste your time here. We ended up at a shop that was actually experienced.

Allen's motorcycle is the most Pleasant place to buy any type of vintage parts new and used I suggest that anybody that rides a vintage motorcycle or dirt bike or quad or even a trials bike should look at them for all their parts and service Yours Truly the Keebler Elf

Had a verbel agreement to not go over $400. A month later the bill was $680. And i was told it will take 2 weeks not a month. WARNING TO ALL get your quotes in writing so they cant pull a fast one on you like they did me. Also dont reley on there timeframe. This is a father, son shop so they play by there own rules. DO NOT GO HERE. They need to be shut down. Look at all the other reviews of people getting scammed by allens. I thought id give them a try and sure enough i got scammed. Reported to BBB

Worst customer service ever! The dude at the counter acted like it was a drag to talk to me, and they where even worse over the phone... these people couldent even point me in a direction they just said go out the door and basicly dig threw our junk... even knowing exactly what i was looking for... they surely dudnt ask if i was looking for it new or used they just pointed me strait at a junk pile and pretty much ignored me when i tryed to talk to them... if i could give this place a -8 star i would

Horrible repair work. Bike came back in worse shape than I brought it in. Missing bolts. Incorrect repairs. Given multiple re-attempts and never got it right. Don't go here.I brought an '04 Vulcan in for top end work on one of the cylinders and the bike has never ran the same again. The bike was in perfect condition except for a bad cylinder. Not a single nut or bolt was missing and everything was exact from the factory. When I got it back it was missing 17 bolts, two hoses, a spring, a ball bearing, and both air cleaner duct springs. Plus, several MAJOR items were not reattached. On my ride home I realized the gas tank and seat were both completely unbolted. I turned around and brought the bike back and they couldn't find the original bolts so they used misc loose spares to reattach the items. Not alright. After that, I noticed the bike was not running right so I brought it back TWO MORE TIMES and they STILL didn't fix the problems. Blaming the problems, instead, on the bike just being "temperamental" in nature.I gave up on them and started overhauling the bike myself. I found several disconnected hoses, a missing spring/ball bearing from the carbs, missing carb vent cap, mis-synced carbs, missing air cleaner duct springs (replaced instead with safety wire), mis-routed wiring and hoses, and loose bolts everywhere. Not only was their work shotty, they gave me back an unsafe and poorly running bike and they failed to fix the problem when I gave them MULTIPLE chances to.Do not go here!
