My 2000 7.3 ford was having cold start issues so I brought it in and they not only fixed it but also handled some other issues for me quickly and at a great price. The owner Dan is just a straight forward guy.

I typically post a lot of light-hearted reviews for places that I appreciate. Because of how much I appreciate the service here, and the terrible re-occurring problem that they resolved, I want to leave an honest serious review for others at the end of their rope with a vehicle. The short of it is this: Dan fixed a problem with my truck I'd had for over a year, and started by doing it with a part I brought in while making sure my way was correct, and ended with my truck running better than ever.I want to clarify two things. I took my truck to two other locations for repair for the same problem before bringing it here. Neither fixed it. Secondly, the problem has not come back for the last 2 months, so I can speak honestly that their solution came from the right work. After nearly a year of trying to research solutions, and working with other mechanics, I was pretty gun-shy to even hope I would get this problem fixed. It was just there and wouldn't go away with multiple fixes attempted. I even brought in just a part that I thought sure would solve the problem and told Dan to only install it and not do anything more. He humored me, and did so but not before taking the time to confirm my unskilled diagnosis first to make sure I wasn't wasting time and money. He did so without charging for it, and confirmed that the part I wanted replaced was bad. The work was solid, and you could tell the next time we fired up the truck.A similar problem came back though, and related to the part we changed. On a truck with 180k miles, things tend to wear out together. At first I had the same thought that there was just no fixing this truck. Dan assured me that it might seem like the same problem, but it wasn't and that he would make sure that no extra work was done that wasn't needed, and that it would absolutely run smooth again. So, after replacing my truck's high pressure injector pump, Dan also replaced a position sensor in the engine. This was the right diagnosis, and my truck has run right as rain since then. After having this problem so long, I have to detail just how grateful I am that Diesel Services Northwest fixed it. Not only fixed right the first time with each part, but the work was done quickly and when we agreed it would be done. I don't need to tell anyone how valuable an honest and dependable mechanic is, but I will 100% give my glowing recommendation to this shop. It is well earned.

Unless you want them to charge you more than what they quote you then don t go here. We took our truck here to get new glow plugs for our 2004 Ford F-250 back in October 2021. They gave us an estimate of around 600 dollars and said it would take the day. When we came to pick up the truck the shop had closed early so we had to walk to a hotel in the rain with our baby. When we came back the next day they said it wasn t done and we had to wait longer. When we came back they gave us the bill for $1,244 and told us they fixed a coolant leak. They didn t call to inform us that this was a problem and ask us if we wanted them to fix it and after we got the truck back it was still leaking coolant. We had to replace a hose.

Wish I could give 10 stars. I have a hard time believing any negative reviews written about this place. I drove to the military base from Utah and my 2002 Ford 7.3 broke down. I went to these guys without an appointment and just showed up. I had to have my truck up and running to get back home for work. Dan was busy working on another project but immediately dropped what he was doing to come check out my truck and got it running again. They could have taken advantage of my situation, but they did the exact opposite. Seriously impressive. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Great folks! I came in from out of town with an emergency with my Dodge diesel. Their estimate for the work was much lower than anyone else I contacted. Then, the repair took less time than estimated, so they adjusted my bill accordingly. They also offered me valuable advice. I hope not to need them again, but if I do, I will use Diesel Services Northwest.

Went there about a month ago because of some electrical issues with my Black 2006 Diesel Emission Tech Ford F-250. One of the dudes (I think maybe the owner) came out to look at it and helped me immensely. Two other mechanics came out to take a look at my turbo too and ended up helping me there because my fuel filter cap wasn't tightened. I tried to give the man who originally came out some cash and he said no thank you which shows true character and I honestly am thankful there are still good people in the world. I plan on taking my truck back there to complete the services when I get my tax return (the wiring is ridiculous and I know it will be expensive lol). You guys are awesome! Will update review when I get services completed there.

I have taken my 95 F350 6.0 Diesel to these guys many times. They have replaced an alternator, water pump, and full set of injectors. They have never tried to upsell me and have always done a spectacular job. Now I have a 2014 F350 Diesel which I am about to take to them to fix an electrical issue. I have no complaints with their service and Dan is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I highly recommend them for all of your diesel repair needs.

I recently purchased an 08 f350. I m not very knowledgeable when it comes to diesels. I notice some smoke coming out of the passengers side engine and I feared for the worst. I took it to these guys and it turned out to be a loose glow plug harness. I looked at it for about 3 hours and couldn t see the leak he found it in about a minute. He pushed it back in and I was on my way smoke free. These guys could of told me to park the truck and It took them a few hours. But they were honest. Im pretty excited to find a local diesel mechanic who seem to be stand up guys. I will definitely be going back for all my diesel needs.

I came in to get my work truck looked over and Dan was very informative on everything related to the truck. Dan made his recommendations without being pushy. I left the truck there and 2 days later all said work was completed. Great experience. Customer for life. Thank you Diesel Services NW.

Great shop, Dan stands behind his work, I had my injection pump on my 12v cummins replaced at his shop, I noticed it was leaking afterwards so I called and he had me bring it by. He removed the pump to change the gasket(where it appeared to be leaking) free of charge and it still leaked. Turns out my timing case has a crack, oh well, the point is I called him back he had no hesitation about it, said bring it in, got me pointed in the right direction. This is my guy for any future work.

!!!DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS!!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF...Went to them last August. Much needed break repair. Ended up needing new rotors, break pads, calipers. Dropped the truck off they said she be ready in afew days. That ended up being a week and more. Dropped it off on a Monday they said it would be ready Wed. Got off work early I'm military so not easy. Get all the way there. Then I find out they didn't even TOUCH my truck... they never called, to tell me it wasn't ready. They fix it I drive on I-5. Almost got into an accident because my breaks locked up. Had my truck towed back to the shop. They said we'll work on over the weekend. DIDN'T HAPPEN.....never got a phone call on progress. They replaced everything again. Which I had to pay for parts " didn't get charged for labor, try to help me out". Second time I drove on I-5 smelled smoke.... Pulled off and my brakes were on fire. Flat racked my truck to someplace else. They were bewildered, that my calipers were installed incorrectly, along with afew other issues that did not get found prior. There is a General lack of over all professionalism. It seemed my truck was a very we'll get to it when we get to it, kinda attitude. Save yourself the time, heartache and money. Don't Come Here.!!!!!!!

Honesty. Integrity. Two words lost on many these days. Not here. I get paid well to fix diesels for a living and come here with not only my overflow workload, but trust their expertise enough to hire them for repairs on my personal Powerstrokes and Cummins. Independent diesel shops are a dime a dozen but good ones are rare. This is a good one. The best one in the area as far as I m concerned.

I've been looking for a company to work on my diesel . Having nothing to go by except the advertisement on one of your employees trucks, based on the way he drives, I hope you conduct business in a better manner. White lifted Ford, in the Spanaway area. Completely Reckless. I would tell you you should reconsider your PR.In regards to your response, no, sir, I am not "Karen's husband." I am someone who typically prefers to support a local business such as yours, but the disregard this person (perhaps you) had for others, including several cars containing children, was blatant.

Dan and his crew are honest and know how to track down hard to find parts. I had a computer blow on my 97 "california" powerstroke, which is one of the rarest PCMs on the market. I couldn't find them anywhere on the internet. He reached out to somewhere on the east coast and had one overnighted and installed in no time. He'll shake your hand and wont let you down.

They tried to put rod and main bearings in my motor and put the wrong main bearings in. Put the motor in machine and had hardly any oil pressure, they finally confessed on putting the wrong main bearings in! Didn't help at all to pay for the screw up!! Paid $ 750 for the job and it cost me $1,500 to fix WHAT A JOKE Ignores my phone calls about the matter! What a way of doing business! !
