Cleon and his staff are friendly and honest. The place looks junky but they do good work. I've never been overcharged or had work done that wasn't necessary.

We inquired about break pads and they did it at a good price instead of the dealership. They did a good job repairing our car.

Our daughter just needed a simple break job on her car. She visited a major national chain auto repair/maintenance store, and was quoted $600 for the brakes on a Mitsubishi Mirage. As expected, they tried to get her to add on every possible thing and ran up the quote to $600. I suggested going to a small local business instead, and we found Cleon's. After all was said and done, she paid $409 at Cleon's. It's not classy, it's not flashy, it was just a good honest business that provided quality work and we really appreciated that. When we have any other mechanical issues, we will be giving him a call first.

Brought in my Ford escape after taking it to Les Schwab because they said there is an electrical issue with the sensor. Cleons diagnosed and fix the problem and we're very honest about it. It only took them a couple of hours and absolutely no run around. I will be taking all of my vehicles there from now on

We've been taking our cars to Cleons for over ten years now, and I would never trust anyone else. Friendly, quick, service with fair and honest pricing and I always know the repairs will be done right! Highly recommend - and I often do!

Cleon has been fixing our cars for decades. It's so hard to find a mechanic who gives a square deal. They do a great job and don't try to soak you with a lot of unnecessary stuff.Update: Still the best mechanic. Cleon doesn't turn the wrench much anymore I think but he runs a good shop.

I have a great experience as t Cleon's. He and staff were friendly and took the time to show and explain the issue with my vehicle. The work was completed accurately and in a timely manner. I will take my vehicle there again.

I take both our vehicles here..I'll had them do small jobs and big jobs..It's always cost more than what I'm quoted and I'm not talking a few bucks..But even still, they are the cheapest..

Was quoted over the phone that a clutch replacement would be anywhere from 600-800. I am having a family member drop it off, and they were just quoted almost 1500.

I'm not from the area so I googled different repair shops and this one stood out. They are local and staff is friendly. I don't know much about cars I'm still learning but what I liked about them they had no problem working with me and not just telling me what's wrong but showing me so that I was more with the work and I was. I definitely recommend Cleon' s for your cars need.

I've been having my vehicles serviced and repaired by Cleon for over 35 years. His shop is one of a kind in the auto repair field and I rely and trust Cleon for all my auto repair needs.

Cleons auto is the only auto place we will take our vehicles. Very honest and reliable. Mechanic David is the only one we let work on our vehicle. Awesome worker and knowledgeable.

I took my car there and wasn't sure was going on with it except that it wasn't starting except at certain times. I brought in my own starter just incase that was what was wrong with it because I get a discount for parts and told Cleon the issues and about why I brought the starter but was not sure was wrong with it and for him to have it looked at... He called me saying the starter was done and I came to get it and it didn't start same problem. He said he would look into why called me the next business and said that it was a problem with the ignition when I asked about the starter he said what about it and then told me that it is the ignition that is the problem and I told him to change the starter and it wasn't his fault. I told him over and over again that I would never do that I have been to college to fix vehicles and that I know better than to just change a part without knowing if that is in fact the issue... after some arguing and him saying there is nothing that he could do and with the new ignition switch and labor for that would cost the same about as the job that he did i asked that would he do the labor or the part he said no. so i spent money on a part i didn't need to that was put on just because i brought it and another almost 400$ in parts and labor for the actual problem which i didn't do he had the mechanic show me the trick to start the vehicle at the loose harness attached to the ignition and i drove off got my 10.99$ core return from the starter that was replaced and am not going back here. I think that after the last year of work i have had done at this shop around 3000$ in repairs and maintenance he would have not treated me like this and tell me what i said to him but guess not time to find another shop.

Cleons Automotive ROCKS! Word of mouth is full on alive again, because Cleons auto is my new trusted car and truck repair shop! Thank you Brian at AZ for highly suggesting I start at Cleons for any and all automotive. Keith, Pat, Tom, Duck, and especialy Dave as he completed the labor of installing my breaks and tie rods! Even Tux the lab is awesome and welcoming. Keith kept me informed, kept cost down with honesty that delivered an exceptional experience. Customer service displayed by all was definitely a ten, and they even rock a Keurig! As I spent the past two days observing the other customers' interactions with the crew, I knew Cherry was in great hands! The shop waiting area complely comfortable, clean bathroom, and rest of shop...is how I expect a workshop to be, where the job gets done...hello! Thumbs up for sure and I definitely go as far to vouch for Cleons Automotive. I emplore you to take your vehicles to Cleons if you're looking for truly honest friendly service where at the end you feel satisfied with a job, in my case jobs well done. They all work hard and getter done booyah! Cleons Automotive really exceeded my expectations. They really do have a customer for life. Thanks Keith. Smiles TCS I'm out.

This place is a sham. I paid to have my car fixed and they told me that my recently replaced spark plugs have already gone out... Defective. They charged me for top of the line ones and put in non-gapped (or improperly gapped) ones in their place. Thus causing all kinds of problems leading to me having to take it back repeatedly and spend mountains. They kept telling me that my computer was saying nothing was wrong... A month and loads of money later I took it to firestone who told me that the computer was pretty much bad. It wasn't communicating anything. It had to be replaced. Then firestone had me take my car to a specific honest mechanic who told me about how cleon was lying to me and put in the bad plugs. (P.s. he gave me the bad ones as proof) since then, a couple of other things Cleon's "fixed" have had to quickly be replaced.That's not all though. My dad bought an 88 bronco for my little brother off a guy who gave up on it. As it turns out, the guy had taken it to Cleon's for an engine rebuild (or something like that), they definitely didn't do it though.Since then, my dad and I have been hearing about all sorts of other people Cleon's has done this to.I recommend staying as far away from them as possible.

Took my Chevy Yukon for break lights not working and went to pick it up with the engine light on without any reason. Just for that matter was costly and had to take it to another shop for the proper repair again on this matter. Would not recommend this place at all

Cleon's Auto Repair is old school mechanics at its best. They can fix anythung, charge an honest amount, and tell you what's going on to let you decide how to proceed.They offer the least expensive oil change around, that I know of, and don't pressure you to have more done than you are asking.

I have a '07 Jeep Compass and the front passenger-side wheel bearing was going bad. The repairs would have cost me more to do it myself, considering I would have had to buy a shop lift I don't have the money or room for, and a two tone press I also didn't have the money for. Les Schawb wanted $420 for the repair, Meineke wanted $300, and, after being quoted $260 by Mitas, two days later they said they couldn't match an over the phone estimate and wanted $345. Cleon is a life saver! He only charged me the $260 I was originally quoted from Mitas! Thank you, Cleon! My car is running as smooth as ever!

Went in to have my egr valve fixed on my 2006 dodge charger. Picked it up, with the owner claiming that the problem was fixed. Am now experienceing same issues lol. What a joke!! Loss of $400!!! Definitely do not recommend this place at all!

Cleon's is the best place to take your vehicle! They have fixed my car everytime I brought it in! I really recommend coming to Cleon's they are the best,they are fast and best of all they are cheap!

Took my car in for brake lights not working and now my engine light is on all the time so be careful what service your asking for cause if its electrical...I would think twice about that. The service was good and wish I could say the same for the technical stuff

Cleon has been in Spanaway for eons. He delivers good quality work for sure. My only complaint is that his prices are outrageous!

Had car for over a month.l was shocked to get 3800 dollar bill.The car is undrivable massive oil leak.l was also shocked to see they didn't put transmission cover back on it is gigantic and also it barely runs.I hope I can get fixed file lawsuit is option.l am a nervous wreck it cost rent and other bills unpaid and I can't drive l got grease on carpet and manifoldcover not bolted.Transmission cover on bottom of car is gone it is very large.l am shocked that they said put intake gasket to stop oil leak I didn't agree to this and it is pouring oil out I'm lucky I made it home.

In comparison..I could have got an alternator installed for about $150 less at 2 major auto repairs. Thinking I would try to help the community business's, I paid $764 . Then on my way home I was pulled over and told my right headlight wasn't working. Involved a stop at the auto supply and another $15 for light bulb.
