The workers were well mannered and respectful and knowledgeable with mechanics for sure. They were super efficient and got my brakes done pretty fast and out the door under an hour with the best prices in pierce county. I fully recommend this mechanic spot to anyone who needs their card worked on by reliable people.

It is so nice to have a trustworthy mechanic like Justin. My fan wasn't working so I had no heat - I expected it was going to cost me an arm and a leg - but he replaced my car's blower motor resister and topped off all the fluids too for a super-reasonable price - and on the same day as well. Can't recommend him enough!! :)

Could not get my wife's Jeep into the dealership for six weeks. Came in to Bell. They were able to diagnosis and repair the jeep in one day.Can't thank you enough.Price was very reasonable. *Edited 05/07/2023*I was impressed by the Bell Harbor mechanic, Justin I believe, he seemed to be one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I've spoken to, and the most thorough and detail-oriented as well. But ultimately and unfortunately, it was my terrible experience with the owner, Sean Goodrich, that has earned this less than stellar review.Sean's unsettling, pushy, rude behavior and the strange and shady circumstance that put my car at this shop in the first place are the reason for the low star count. Sean was doing an unsupervised appraisal drive in my car, during which something happened that caused my car to come to an unexpected halt in the road, where it would not restart.I am now needing to do several thousand dollars of repairs on my car - that drove great just minutes prior to being in Sean's care.No dash lights were on, the car was running smoothly, had just gotten an oil change the day prior, and after his drive, the check engine light was on, and the car would not start.Then he pushed me to have it towed to the shop he owns. Then quotes me almost $7000 worth of repair work and demands half upfront and refuses to have any photos of the new parts in my car unless I pay an additional 2hours of labor costs. Even though I had already received several photos for no charge from the mechanic as he explained there were fluid leaks that had caused issues in my turbo which he found during his diagnostic.I found Sean's demeanor to be sketchy and dishonest. And he was pushy for payment ahead of repair work but slow to update me with progress or reason for why so much was required upfront when this is not a common occurrence.I did not feel comfortable, and Sean did not make any effort to ease my mind with any explanation of what happened during his drive, nor explanations for why I was singled out to pay so much upfront costs. I felt that he was trying to take advantage of me and I never got any reassurance that that was not the case. It made me feel as though he was trying to scam me.As a result, I paid over $660 to tow my car from Spanaway to my home in Issaquah, unfixed, just because of my terrible experiences with him.In my opinion, the mechanics at Bell Auto were probably great mechanics, and my experience would have been much better if I had not had the misfortune of coming to know them due to the damages my car experienced under the supervision of the new owner of this establishment, Sean Goodrich.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This is the repair shop you've been looking for. It's so frustrating trying to find a fair shop that isn't going to rip you off. It took me a minute to find this place. Take the fruits of my labor and just go here.Justin is awesome and will treat you right...especially if you have multiple issues that you need taken care of all at once. They won't charge you individual shop hours for something that they can do at the same time as something else. I had my wheel bearings done and they replaced a washer on my brake line that was leaking for free because they already had everything tore off anyways.The last couple places I went to before Bell Auto were quoting me double what I ended up paying here. Can't say enough good things. Your search is over. I'll definitely be going back to this place and recommending Bell Auto to all my friends.

I needed some work on my old diesel. Bell auto was recommended by a nearby business. I'm glad I brought my truck to him. It Never cranked and started so fast before he replaced some battery cable ends and installed new batteries. My wipers now work great after replacing the motor! Prices were very reasonable. Glad I found a mechanic I can trust, thanks Ron!

Not an easy thing to find a great mechanic that's honest too. Owner helped me out one day I broke down right off the highway next to his shop and I've taken many PLANNED repairs there to him since if it wasn't something I was doing myself. Good work always and a more than fare price. Only mechanic I recommend.

Long story short my brake line went out one day when I was headed home from work, fluid leaking everywhere and brakes working at about 20%.I knew where the leak was and was told by numerous shops in the area that it would cost me $170+ to diagnose alone. So I looked around and found Bell Auto.This place is amazing, got an appointment set up, was able to show where the damage was and was given a quote to repair the brake line for almost the same as the cost to have these other shops "diagnose the problem" and gouge my wallet.Professional, honest and quality work. He does great work but is busy so make sure you have transportation set up until your car is finished.I'll be back here when I need work done for sure.

I totally have trust in Bell's Auto Repair. He is honest & his prices are very reasonable. My friends that go to him for their auto needs say he can fix things that other mechanics can't figure out, so he doesn't always have to replace the parts. I highly recommend this repair shop!

One of the best mechanics in Washington. Extremely knowledgeable and all around great guy. The car doctor. Able to diagnosis any problem you throw at him. Price was fair and all work was done same day. Make sure you book ahead. I recommend booking a morning appointment, since he seems to be less busy than in the afternoon.

Brought my BMW here many times, very honest work. Make sure to have a back-up plan if you need to get around while it's being worked on, he is a very busy man and does all of the work by himself.
