It's a cute resort but a little outdated and uncomfortable. I wasn't super impressed by the outdated bathroom or oddly set up hotel room. The TV was in the corner on the side of the bed. And the bed was oddly high making it difficult to be get into. Not the worst hotel stay but far from the best stay I've had as well.Rooms: Oddly positioned and outdated.

Overall good experience even though it was for a single night. Just needed somewhere to sleep for the night after a long trip and day of activities with family. Girlfriend and I booked room 1, very nice room upstairs. There's a bird family that live right outside the window! There was an issue another couple was having in the after noon in the parking lot as we were leaving though. The male part tried to approach me looking for a fight, then walked to the pub across the street after getting a little too close for my comfort. Was an interesting way to leave to say the least.

My husband and I stayed here and it was very relaxing! We asked ahead if they were able to provide a pack and play for our three month old, and it was there in our room on arrival. The new workout room was clean and had gym quality equipment which we were thankful for. It was definitely a family atmosphere with a lot of kids running around (often unattended), but that didn't hurt our experience. We stayed over the fourth of July weekend and enjoyed live music and fireworks from the comfort of our balcony with a lake view (cabin 47). The room was a little buggy (tiny harmless spiders and flys) but that is understandable considering it is a cabin in the middle of a desert oasis. Every creature wants to set up shop there! Looking forward to returning sometime in the future.

I've stayed several times over the last couple of years. I'm a local and I only go for the hot tub jets, as I have major back pain and problems and the jets help.Even though there's 5 hot tubs, it seems to be hit or miss as to whether they are filled, clean and hot. During my last stay, 4 of the 5 were filled however all 4 were tap water cold temp. 2 smelled funky and had quite a bit of yuckies floating on top.The staff did try to accommodate and put me in a whirlpool tub room but it just wasn't the same. The jets weren't as strong and trying to scrunch down to get them on my upper back was very difficult and awkward and I gave up quickly so I didn't hurt myself. I did ask this last time if I can call the morning of my next reservation to verify that there are clean, hot, filled hot tubs ready and was told yes, thank goodness. It's very odd how 2 of the tubs smelled so funky and had so much stuff floating in them, even though the front desk staff said they'd just been cleaned, especially since I only saw 1 other guest the entire time. And the hot tubs were hot the morning of my check out, per the front desk, but that didn't help me any the night of my stay. I have owned a hot tub previously and I do understand that they take hours to heat up. I also understand that the staff is having issues with guests turning off the tubs, which doesn't help the matter.During one of my other stays this year, someone entered my room while I was using the bathroom, with no knock or anything. They exited very quickly when I called out. The bathroom was only a few feet away from the door, which made me feel very vulnerable. When I called the front desk, the woman said it was probably just housekeeping and I didn't even get an apology. Now I make sure I put the do not disturb sign up, and I put a chair under the door lever too. As an older lady who goes alone, that was a very frightening experience. But I'll probably keep going, because it's the only pain relief that I get without pills from the doctor.

Location!!! How would you like to walk in a lake!!! Soap is a very shallow lake where one can walk a great distance into the lake. It is beautiful and is said to have medicinal properties such that it can help relieve pain. The resort has a private access to the lake. They have hot tubs and a great sauna to relax. They have inflatable bouncy houses and indoor game room for children. The cabins are beautifully built with wood logs. Scenic location with a ton of photo opportunities.

Late season find on our way home to Seattle from Bozeman Montana where we spent Labor Day weekend. So relaxing, outdoor hot tubs and sauna open all night long. Room was clean, could have used an armoire for hanging clothes and a luggage rack. We are having a wonderful time and will certainly return. Best time is certainly going to be off peak, more people would change the experience (for us)Nearby activities: The pub across from the resort Del-Red had amazing food. Small town pub but fabulous food.Walkability: In the (small) downtown area, all is walkable.

Lovely low key spot for a vacation. Checking in was a breeze. The gal went over all the rules & a map of the property. She even offered restaurant suggestions. My cabin was cute & had a music theme. The bed was super comfortable & i didn't hear the neighbors at all. I booked a cabin with a jacuzzi tub & loved it! The patio was shaded by trees & I loved having coffee & meals there. The lake is shallow with muddy banks so be prepared. Plus a mineral rich body of water smells a bit suphury. Its warm though & makes for a nice swim if it's not windy. There's plenty of lawn furniture that you can even take into the shallow area. The swings on the grounds are nice too & look out on the lake. I travel solo & felt welcomed & safe. My dog & I will definitely be back.

There are several different ways to book a room at this Resort, and it can be a bit confusing what exactly kind of room you're reserving. Which is the only reason at all I'm marking this place down to a 4-star on Rooms. You can either book a Cabin (in what they call the Notaro Lodge). These are mostly independent structures, some duplex style, directly on the main grounds of the resort, mere feet from all the amenities - the lake, jacuzzi hot tubs, saunas, etc. These are luxurious. Fully what you'd expect from a Beach Spa and Resort.Or, you can, for a slightly lower price, book a room in the Inn (which is what will happen if you book through a discount site like Expedia, Canoe, or similar). These are fine, for what they are. Clean facilities. Comfy beds. Nice view. But definitely a step down from the Cabins. At any other chain hotel they would be considered perfectly adequate, and even charming. So take your pick. Beach Spa on a budget, or Luxury Resort. There's no real difference in access to the amenities. You get the full experience either way. And in my opinion, since you won't be spending much time in the room anyway, the inn is well worth the lowered price. One further note, a day at the Resort gets you continental breakfast at the nearby Restaurant, which tends to get picked over a bit if you're a late sleeper like I am. So get up early and snag some orange juice and a muffin to start your day. And make sure to book a table at the Cocina de la Sophia next door, as soon as they open at noon. You won't get in if you wait and try to walk in later. And you'll want to try their Brazilian fusion food. Trust me. Delicious!

Terrible customer service!!!!! Nothing was available, nothing was working properly. We wanted to rent the paddle board- they didn t have anyone who could help us on a Saturday afternoon. The remote in the room was not working, even after they brought new batteries. The shower In the rooms was disgusting, plus not working properly. The saunas were not working. Their hot tub was the dirtiest thing I have ever seen. Don t know how anyone would want to go in! The lady who checked us out should be out of a job- she doesn t have the slightest idea how to talk to people, let alone customers! Dirty all over, restaurant closed, everything is so run down! And their prices- RIDICULOUS! For what they offer they should be charging no more than $100 a night- if that! This is very, VERY far from a resort. A 2 star motel is more adequate! Do not stay there! They should go out of business so that someone else, who knows what to do, gets it!

Good price for the room and accomodations. Friendly staff and the other guests were really nice. The room was a double queen and about as basic as can be, but not in a bad way. Very clean and welcoming. LOVE the private beach access and the provided towels. Beds were a bit over-firm for what I prefer but not too uncomfortable. Would like to see a more modern key entry system and better locks on the doors but I still felt safe here. Planning on returning but booking further in advance to try one of the beautiful cottages here.A side thank you to the gentleman and lady that gave my family the mud and taught us the difference between the sand/mud. We found more for ourselves based on your advice and we passed on our extra mud to someone else that didn't have their own

There is a very very rude lady that works there at the front desk. She may be the manager, anyway she is bitter. She does not have a smile she gives terrible responses with attitude NEGATIVE, is the opposite of why you go to a Resort.. The rooms are cool , clean good bed . The location is great but the water from the lake is heavily filtered into the tubs, it is so demineralized that it doesn't even tarnish your silver! I'd say, something isn't right there.Walkability: Right downtown close to everything.

I like the resort, the only down I had was the mineral water to the room was down, not their fault. But would have been nice. Think it would be cool for them in the future to possibly build like a indoor pool and hot tub, so they could have a year round mineral soak. Was a little chilly this weekend so didn't partake in the water from their private beach area.

The rooms were pretty expensive for the condition they were in. Our fridge was falling apart and leaking onto our kitchen floor. They were supposed to be fully stocked, but had very little of the bare necessities (plates, bowls, cups and silverware) and not much for actually preparing food. The staff was not well informed on the rooms or the surrounding area. The area is beautiful and we had a wonderful time exploring mineral water baths, the mud, nearby caves and so many lakes closeby with the friends we came with.

We loved our cabin (House of Poverty ). It was perfect for our family. Kids in downstairs full bed and Mama and Papa upstairs in loft King bed. When our toddler woke up, we could hear him and come down. The customer service check in was easy, professional, and friendly. We got cozy and unpacked right away to enjoy the GIANT tub! The kids (2 & 4) loved they had a ton of space and preferred the regular water. However as adults, WE enjoyed the mineral lake water. SO refreshing. We had some trouble with the water getting hot but it was quickly resolved when calling the front desk and they graciously offered us a late check out for the inconvenience. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the beach.*Recommend checking out the Cloudview Kitchen nearby. Great breakfast place and super friendly staff.*There's a menu for the restaurant next door to the resort in the welcome folder. However when we called to order the restaurant told us the menu is outdated and was annoyed I used it to order. We still placed an order for take out but even pick up wasn't a pleasant experience. The food for ok but not worth the hassle. Would suggest elsewhere to eat if customer service is important to you.

The cottage room was cozy and comfy. The staff were accommodating, reliable and very helpful/communicative. The grounds were gorgeous. I enjoyed myself immensely and absolutely will be recommending this place to friends and family. Was perfect for a quiet romantic weekend getaway. Also plenty of beautiful places near by to hike and take in the sights.

I'd like to give Soap Lake Natural Spa Resort more stars..however...Check in was fast and friendly and the office is beautiful. Thinking the office was a reflection of what our room was going to be we were thrilled! The good, Dog friendly! The grounds are darling! There are thoughtful bits of whimsy scattered throughout. The resort offers different areas for different activities. A game area, places to barbecue, other areas to simply relax and take in the views. There is a hot tub, two small saunas and some adorable hanging chairs. There's also a pretty nice game room.Soap Lake is a marvel! I've read the history of it and it's fascinating. Again, the grounds are lovely and welcoming. But we didn't sleep outside, we stayed in cottage number 30. Cottage 30 is an adequate sized cottage. It has just about everything you would need. and the bed was quite comfortable. Towels and linens were both good quality. The water pressure is fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the mineral springs water in the tub. We appreciated the cute little patio in front and It is blissfully quiet hereThe not so good, aesthetically the room is horribly outdated to the point of run down. The fixtures are dirty, stained and dull. The tub was coated with a weird powdery substance, which I cleaned. There are limited wall outlets and they are loose, The light over the kitchenette was sketchy and took quite a while to come on and flickered. We finally gave up on it. Our cottage was stuffy and there was quite a bit of moisture on the windows. (Which we were unable to open). The windowsills were dirty and there were dead bugs on it. The blinds on the window did not keep the light out. Very unpleasant when you're staying in a hotel and vacationing. Blackout drapes or something similar would be appreciated. Last but not least, the TV required two different remotes. One to control volume the other to control everything else.Honestly this place *could be a gem, a true treasure with some TLC and some updating. Pay attention to detail. Because when it comes right down to it, it's all in the details regardless of how small they are. This is a Resort? The color scheme in this cottage is undistinguishable and lacks that soothing vibe. We had booked for two nights, however we are going to leave today. We would return but I believe we would stay in a cabin. I think what bothers me the most is that I had to clean things in the room before I felt comfortable using them. Please see the photos which will be attached to this review.

Great place and relaxing to stay. Staff as usual clueless, and customer service is below average. Wish they had option to check-in without meeting them. To rent kayaks it's huge hassle as well, and not reasonable prices.Edit: Changing from 3 stars to 1, after owner replied saying my review is fake and I never stayed with them. To confirm: Staff always having issues with check in and never able to use computer. Not sure if it's software or you guys not willing to learn. Please go back to pen and paper if you cannot sort it out for last 5 years. Also just to rent some toys it takes very much same amount of torture, going to office because kayak guy doesn't know prices and unwilling to share. Anyways, 5 stars for property, but 0 stars for customer service!

Everything about this resort was amazing customer service outstanding room was absolutely amazing had so much detail things for the kids to do things fir the adults room supplied with enough towels! We stayed for four days when we did run short they immediately brought us what we needed. I cannot remember what the name of our room wa but I highly recommend Soap Lake Resort . Due to the heat wave they are required for health reasons to not have some resort activities available in witch I can understand. We went tomoses lake that is only 1/2 hour away rented jet skis from affordable jet ski rentals in witch i highy recommended them as well and hit the water park in moses lake as well. Then went back to the resort and enjoyed the peace serenity beautiful sunset and hot tub then got a versy restful nights sleep in their very comfy beds ;)they do get super busy so make sure to reserve room a couple months in advance before they book up.

Other reviews regarding managers appear to be old since the new managers have been here only since May 2018 (and they are fabulous). This is a place you will want to put on the top of your list for places to stay in Soap Lake. The grounds a beautiful and well kept, lush green grass and little trees dotting the property. The layout of the buildings and amenities is perfect. We stayed for a whole week in one of the cottages and enjoyed the benefits of this resort. The staff were amazing. Tamara and Spiros and Nina were so hospitable and friendly. Knowledgeable and welcoming. This was our first time here and we are already planning our next visit. It was really hard to leave this magical place!

Nice place with plenty of outdoor activities, a game room, and fun for the family. The jetted tub was great however the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on and the outdoor pouch light with no on and off switch was so bright it kept the room light up all night even with the shades closed. I would stay here again as it was great for the kids and the grounds were well maintained. However I hope they at least look into updated beds and a resolution to the porch light.

The staff was amazing, very accommodating and even though the smoke from the near by fires hindered us from having the full experience we still enjoyed our time together. We stayed in the executive swuite and our son and his SO had another cabin. It was nice and had almost everything you d need. I recommend visiting the little European market up the road, they have a great deli and amazing candy and other foods. The only negative experience was the fact that we saw a local PD waiting by the speed limit change sign handing out tickets left and right and it seemed really unfair to set up right next to that change of mph because most of the people coming in and getting tickets were people who were coming to this resort. I watched it happen a few times and was kinda shocked, it s not a good thing when this place brings money to the community and the visitors from out of town are being targeted.
