Let s start out with the location. The location is perfect for snow sports enthusiasts who want to be on the slopes multiple days, but that is part of the problem. NOBODY should stay here. They are price gouging because they are the only hotel at the top of the mountain. The overall lack of cleanliness and care this building has been given is DISGUSTING. Things we ran in to on our one night stay: Dirty/yellow stained towels, leaks in the ceiling, heaters not working, and what looked like pubic hairs in the shower. The worst part about it is we swapped rooms 3 times and they were equally as bad! Highly recommend going elsewhere or doing an Airbnb. This place is not worth it and until the building is completely remodeled or under new management that actually cares you should STAY AWAY.EDIT: don t listen to the owners response. These issues have been ongoing. If you dig through reviews on google and yelp the problems have been persisting for some time now.

Great environment, nice staff. Only complaint is our room seemed half upgraded. There was an old TV rack on the wall, there was no hair dryer for my wife, and the cleanliness was not great. HOWEVER, the restaurant and bar are great, the room was decent enough after a day of playing in the snow. It was warm, obviously clean towels and sheets. They smelled of light bleach, which I prefer. A mini fridge and TV. For the price, it was all we needed. If the room was fully upgraded I'd say 4 stars.

DO NOT BY ANY MEANS STAY HERE - gosh what can I say about this place that s nice. Nothing. The place is old and nasty, and in serious need of an update. The only reason there is remotely any business here is because of the locations proximity to The Summit at Snoqualmie. Not sure that there are even other hotels up there that aren t AirBNB. Price gauging for sure - $200 a room for one night at the peak snowboarding/skiing season only to spend the night in a cold room - no working heaters, shower and wipe off in stain covered towels, and leaking ceilings. Priced like this at the expense of customers you d hope they at least renovate something. The hot tub is disgusting a grimy at that too. Our party s room was changed 3 times and it was still incredibly dissatisfactory. However the only thing we shared in common was finding loose hairs in the shower. Please do better! This is not a 2 star hotel.Nearby activities: Summit at Snoqualmie is awesome, lots of wonderful snow activities. Snowboarding is great, and would recommend snow tubing!Food & drinks: Do not eat at the restaurant attached to this hotel - it s nasty. I got bacon in my hash browns the first time we went there - owned by the same people.

Awesome location at the entrance to Snoqualmie skiing...but that's about it. The rooms are outdated. The carpet was new but everything else looked like it was original 1960s. The rooms and hotel were clean, though stains were visible on the bedside lampshades and chairs. I would stay here again simply for the convenience but know there is nothing luxurious about this property. Breakfast at the restaurant was yummy.Rooms: Clean but outdated.Nearby activities: Skiing and snow activities

Room had obvious water damage and started leaking and dripped water all over my clothes in the middle of my night. Walls super thin, dogs barking at 6 in the morning. Nice lobby though. Hot tub was decent. Over priced because of location.Rooms: Typical rooms, super thin wallsNearby activities: Decent hot tub. Overpriced mediocre pancake House connected to lobby

My son and I stayed there before and had a bad experience. I thought we'd give it another shot as it's really the only option there. The bed cover had holes in it. The thermostat had no cover so I couldn't control the temperature. There was old takeout food in the refrigerator. We went to the hot tub and there was what looked like cinnamon sprinkled on the bubbles. We got in anyway but my son pulled up something and asked what it was and it was a toenail. As we got out I saw a clump of hair on his swim shirt.I asked the front desk to break a 20 for the vending machine because they don't take cards. They gave me ones and after getting the soda and getting back to the room I realized they had only given me $15. I went back to the front desk and it was a different person - because of the language barrier I gave up after a couple of minutes trying to explain. There were 10 other things I could mention.

The front desk was very kind and treated my friend and I very well, and the room was clean. The pancake house was also really good and well priced considering it was on a mountain. My only gripe is that booking online leads to a major ripoff by the third party booking company. I ended up paying $165 more because of their taxes and service fees which was unrelated to the hotel itself. BOOK IN PERSON OR OVER THE PHONE!

I had a very bad experience with this hotel. It was a bad enough customer service experience prior to check-in that I opted to not stay. Expedia agreed to let me cancel the reservation based on some bad information in the online booking process if the hotel agreed, but of course they would not. I would avoid completely unless you are really desperate for a place to stay.

Room was clean and the employees were very nice and accommodating. Great price for a room and they also have a diner, which I will also review (the good is great!). I love the log cabin feel and the beautiful gems and wood pieces they have on display in the lobby. If you get a room with a mountain view, it s nice to wake up to in the morning. There s plenty of nature to see and visit nearby. Would stay here again!

Front desk Indian man was totally rude and wouldn t let us wait inside for our Uber to show up for security reasons . Had 3 cockroaches in our room and was told I didn t know what they were and that I was lying totally unprofessional DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. Save your money and go stay in northbend or cle elum. This establishment SHOULD NOT be operating. Definitely not how it was 15 years ago.

This is by far the worst business and worst hotel in all of washington. We stayed here one night and had one of the worst experience of our life. In the first 15 minutes we found a cockroach come scudding across the bath room floor to great us. We let the front desk know of our disgusting discovery and they mumbled there way around it basically trying to make us feel bad for bringing it up and telling us we should just be thank ful to have a place to stay. All was fine until 3:00 am when we were awoken by a fire alarm. We made our way to the lobby to find other folks gathered in front of the front desk while the desk clerk stared into the abyss and literally did nothing other than silence the alarm. Minutes go by and a man appears from room 123 which was under our friends room staying in 223 and 225. The man who appeared said there was 2 inches of water in his room and coming from the ceiling since water travels down hill it must becoming from above aka our friends rooms. we venture up stairs and find our friends abandoning ship as they tried desperately to get there items out before they were drowned with the rest of this sinking ship. It took us calling the fire department for them to come investigate the cause of this wild amount of water guessing 1000 gallons plus of the buildings Fire suppression system was pouring through the ceiling. At no time did anyone from the hotel go to inspect what was happening in these two room yet alone the rooms under or adjacent to which were also filling with water. Upon arrival of the fire department the hotels employees acted completely inept to the situation as the fire chief ripped them a new one for silencing the alarm and not investigated what had happen. Our friends were given a new non cleaned room for the night and the next day when asked for a refund or percentage there of we were told once again we should all just be happy we had a place to stay. these morons the next day did not even know what rooms had water damage or that in the middle of the night they had people climbing out windows with there luggage to escape the flooding AND WE WITNESSED THE FIRE DOOR HANDLE LITERALLY JUST FALL OF FOR NO REASON. Because the fire suppression system had failed they were told by the fire department that they needed to do roving fire guard until it was repaired which they looked like the fire department was spoken to a broken wall that had no intentions of listening to them and failed to do so after. DO NOT EVER stay here Hotel has PEST, TERRIBLE HOSPITALITY, AND THE BUILDING IS LITERALLY DANGEROUS AND THEY HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF REPAIRING IT.

I've stayed here a dozen times or so over the years. This is definitely more of a warm (usually) place to crash while enjoying outdoor activities nearby. They do very little in the way of maintenance/capital improvements and it shows. Lower level rooms are pet friendly, which is great, but I can tell by the way my dog sniffs around continuously that the carpet surfaces have been urinated on numerous times and not cleaned well, with bleach stains obvious in numerous rooms. My dog is well trained, but it takes all his resolve not pee inside this place he can tell its been pissed all over. If you book a room, pretty much plan on some advertised amenity being unavailable or out of service. Sensitive ski types should not usebthe pool/hit tub as one of my family and a friend have had a rash or burn. This last stay last weekend took the cake though. I left the dog at home so I could get a cleaner room upstairs and have a peaceful ski weekend. Fire alarm activated at 3am Sunday morning causing about an hour and a half of panic, some people were fleeing saying the roof was collapsing, others were yelling the building was on fire, and yet others were saying it flooded. As dumb as it sounds, I did not evacuate, as I ve stayed here enough to come to expect late night partiers to set off the alarm by smoking in their rooms sometimes. I told my kids to stay in the room and walked the halls to make sure there was no fire or that the roof was not collapsing. Turned out the fire sprinkler pipe burst upstairs and multiple rooms were flooding. Management was totally inept and made the people looking for refunds or other rooms feel like crap and like they were the problem. Many people grabbed their belongings and could be heard screaming profanities outside as they left. People were demanding to know if the building was safe and management declined to engage directly to people assembled in lobby and never gave any update at all to individual rooms. As mentioned in another review, the door handle/commercial opener for the fire door literally fell off in the panic. Guests used the bar to keep the door propped open so people could exit without the door locking. This was good for those who needed to get out, but would be horrible in a real fire as this door is meant seal off a part of the hotel to prevent airflow/flamespread. I was pretty much awake from 3am-5:30am when the fire department left. In the morning, I went to front desk and asked for 45 min-1 hour late check out and manager said no originally, I then said that was not gonna work after all the B.S. from the night before and he responded "Fine" but that after an hour I would be charged. I then demanded to know why guests weren't notified about fire alarm and why no one ever gave an evacuate or all clear notice and he just refused to address it and looked at clock and said I had until 12pm to be out.I knew what I was getting into before this stay, but I now also know safety is not a priority at all. In a real emergency you will be on your own to figure what to do. Sadly, I probably will stay here again, as they have a monopoly on hotel rooms at the Pass. It could be a great place, but until ownership starts putting money back in to it and initiates some form of customer service, it will continue to degrade. It is not a destination place to come and hang out, it is a sometimes warm room that may or may not have damage in the room. Complaints will only get a slight eye roll from staff and they will do as little for you as they can and hope you go away. The only great thing about this place is it is right next to West Ski Area access.Book at your own risk, know before you go, and bringing sleeping bags to sleep on top of the bed is probably wise.

DO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give them negative stars I would! Most importantly they have no operable fire alarm or fire suppression system! And were not doing a fire watch as instructed by firefighters.Let me sum up our stay... Not only did we find a cockroach, yes an actual cockroach (I didn't know we even had them in Washington) and there was mold on the celling. They also put everyones safety at risk by silencing the fire alarm at 2:00am, multiple rooms flooded, the ceilings caved in, fire doors fell off the hinges, people were literally climbing out of windows to escape their rooms flooding, the hot tub is gross and the roof integrity is questionable. While pandemonium was happening the front desk person just stood there at the desk not even investigating what was happening and then had an attitude with the firefighters when they were being scolded all while refusing to give refunds to anyone. They offered ZERO compensation or refunds to us or anyone else involved and in fact were rude and condescending to us when we demanded our money back. There was no water remediation service on site the next day instead they had a vaccum and some towels, the manager didn't show up until noon and was rude and argumentative. I suspect they have no intention of actually properly dealing with the water damage or inoperable fire system. I will be contacting the state attorney general office. This place should be shut down.

Perfect location to visit Summit At Snoqualmie and Alpental, with views over Summit West which is actually walking distance with skis/snowboard if car is socked in due to road conditions. Commonwealth cross the street is a solid bar and dinner choice. Price is moderately high for what it is but there s no direct competition. Having said that, they re very nice and dealt with the one or two minor issues that came up pleasantly if not uber efficiently. I d definitely stay again before searching for an AirBnB alternative.

I really like the old school hotel feeling here. And being way up in the mountains makes this location great. This time a year it's pretty empty and quiet. Lots of hiking all around, (which I really enjoyed.) The front desk guy was really nice and the room we got was really clean.

This is an interesting hotel. Very good mountain possibilities. I like the sauna. The restaurant is good enough for all. For PTC hikers, don't forget to pick up your resupply. Eggs are available small grocery store to the east. If you want 24 go to the gas station. I do only eat the egg whites. I want to see if we can get egg beaters up there!

Safe, good location, good price for the area. This is an older hotel and needs an update, which they may be starting because there was carpet debris outside. The beds were reasonably comfortable, the bedding is old. It was acceptably clean. Overall, you get what you pay for, this is a relatively inexpensive hotel, and if you want a safe, clean-ish, place to sleep for one night, this may be the spotFood & drinks: Connected to Summit Pancake House.

Rooms definitely need to be upgraded. The beds are hard to sleep in as they are uncomfortable spring mattresses. It would have been nice if the laundry took cc instead of quarters but it did the job. Service was great. The bartender at the attached restaurant was awesome! He's been there for 20 years and does a great job running things there. The hotel is right across the street from the ski lifts and it's really convenient. We had an awesome weekend all together

Bedding is cheap, one of the pillows did not have a pillowcase on it in our room. We turned on the room portable AC to cool the room down a bit while I ran next door for some snacks. Come back in a few minutes later to a room at 85 degrees and feeling like the heat was on, unless you were directly in front of the A/C. Took a few minutes to realize the vent hose off of the portable A/C was not connected to the window vent, and was just sitting in the corner of the room, under a table, blowing all the hot air back into the room instead of outside. The vent had about half a roll of duct tape already all over it, making it impossible to piece everything together once again so we used the phone, room bible, and some other stuff to MacGyver it while we were there. Barely greeted by the lobby when we showed up to check in, and I walked through the lobby at least a half dozen times going to the car or wandering around as I normally do when I am bored, not a smile, hello, peep in general from the staff. Didn't even thank me when we dropped off the key. Service reflects business... and you will be getting no more of mine.

Overall I'm giving a 4 because of the friendly staff, location, ease of parking and walking distance from the local Ski areas. The food on-site was great & the hotel wasn't a bad price for the location. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because the towels were stained, the sheets and pillows were stained and behind the nightstands were sticky & gross where I had to plug in my phone. This place just needs some better cleaning routines, then I'll change to a 5!Rooms: Uncleaned, stained, dated
