Just took the horses for a walk the park is close to our home and is a beautiful place to visit. Access is difficult this time of year the road is not plowed and the gate is locked. Walking in is acceptable but the only public parking is about a half a mile East at the forest Service office. 2/18/22 Snow is starting to melt but still a couple of feet left.

Very quiet place to rest. Outstanding place for kids to play in a safe environment. Host was very helpful during our stay. Very close to the town with a rich history.

My friend and I camped here for a night and loved it! We were right on the river, within a few steps. There was someone parked in our spot when we got there, and the camp host was so nice and apologetic about the situation. We will for sure be going back. They have a small park with swings, a slide, and a tether ball. The site is a little hard to find because there is another campsite across the street from them and the GPS kept taking us to the wrong campground. But when we got there, we were warmly welcomed.Would also recommend checking out the iron goat trail and deception falls down the road from the campground. Iron goat is quite difficult, but deception falls is just a short little walk to an amazing view.

We had a great time midweek camping here. There were only two family groups (ours and one other). The kids had a blast at the playground, river and hanging out with family. The kitchen available to share for the campground has hot water to wash dishes. Two fridge/freezer combos. An oven. A woodfire grill that can be used. While the website said our sites didn't have a fire pit, all three did have fire pits and picnic tables. As far as I saw every site has a picnic table and firepit but I didn't look carefully. I recommend bringing a playground ball and or baseball stuff, some firewood and having a lovely time camping here!

Electric Sky has been hosted here for years. I finally went this year and am so grateful I did! The hosts, Tanya and Carol, were the best hosts in several years, according to the camp coordinator. In fact, I enjoyed visiting with Tanya and Carol more than some of the campers we invited! :) They kept the campsite clean, the garbage cans empty and ready to accommodate our 150+ person event. There are bathrooms on site, as well as Honey Buckets. There are well-worn paths to the river, which lulls you to sleep. For added ambiance, the train will oft be heard in the distance, over the river, like your very own trip to Hogwarts right here in Skykomish! Aside from all that, we were there during the peak period of a meteor shower!! Living my best life.

Been camping here for over 40 years. It isnt just a camp spot. Its our home away from home. It holds so many memories. Just in the last 5 years of having a host here, this year's host Carol and Tanya are fabulous!

We camp here with family every year. It's a great campground. There is a communal kitchen area and flush toilets with electricity. There is also a big open field and river access.

Needed a little break in the shade after riding small trains all afternoon in Skykomish.Searched for a nearby park and decided to stop on in.It was confusing at first entry as the road is unmarked dirt. The highway sign indicates threes only a T with a road on the opposite side. There's no indication it's a park until you're in the forest. Even then it's surrounded by private property signs, and then we still thought we might be the wrong place with all the camping signs.Once we got used to the idea that this is both, we got more comfortable. We were them pleasantly surprised with a small playground and public bathroom. The river was a treat. Some nice soft sand next to the cold, clear river water. We played in the water for a bit after a quick break for the kids on the slides and swings.

Loved it. Camped here and everyone was friendly and no loud party or nothing. Think we were the loudest ones here with a projector and generator with an xbox. Right next to the river. Trains come through occasionally but really didn't mind.

Hidden gem of a campsite. Spots next to the Skykomish River and a camp kitchen with stove and running water. Toilets were clean.

This ballpark doubles as a campground as well and the camping sights are situated along the Skykomish river. It's absolutely stunning.
