DO NOT GO HERE, AWFUL SERVICE LOOK AT THE REVIEWS THEY DO THIS OFTEN! They quoted my mom $400 to flush her transmission and said it would be a 4 hour process on her mini. My mom dropped the car off and then 2 hours later she gets a call from him and he tried to say she needs to pay $800 for it? 2 hours in after the car was dropped off? They also didn t have the filter for the car even though the appointment was made in advance weeks prior. When she went to go pick up the car she had her grandchildren with her and one was playing with some blinds and my mom told him to stop. Then the guy who was checking her out really meanly spoke to her 6 year old grandsons and said Don t touch those they are very expensive and if you break them you will pay for them . To a 6 year old child who was already reprimanded by its guardian also on the phone said that the person who originally quoted the $400 no longer works there . Maybe learn how to treat people like people and understand that changing the price 50% higher same day is not affordable for most people in this economy. Even the mini dealership was only charging $600 not $800. I always like to give mechanics the benefit of the doubt since I feel like they get a bad wrap, but this? This is where it comes from.

Was impressed with the decor of the waiting room and politeness of the staff. They didn t try to sell me other services, like I ve had in the past. Pricing was straight forward. I appreciate the excellent prompt and respectful service. I ll be sure to schedule other car services here

We brought our car in because of an intermittent starting problem that the dealer could not figure out. These guys were tenacious in researching and fixing the problem. I highly recommend Silverdale Autoworks. I will be bringing my car to them for any repairs from now on.

Honest people and quality service. We have used them for years and we can trust them. They are conveniently located in Silverdale. They specialize in foreign cars. Colin was the service manager and was very kind, especially since I was late for my appointment. He explained everything done to my car. Complimentary water and coffee in waiting room. Super place!

Wow! Called up and spoke with Brian to inquire about getting some electrical work done on my 1976 GMC JimmyI ve got a new wiring harness from Painless and just needed some help with getting the new radiator fans and thermostat figured out. No computers, no ECU, nothing complicated. It s just outside of my skill level.Anyway, I was told he doesn t work on anything that old. The only thing old is the frame and some of the body. Everything else is new!New radiator, new electric water pump, new fans, new thermostat, new wiring, new battery, new starter, new fuel pump, new gauges, new carburetor, and new fuses.I would think a professional mechanic would jump at the chance to take this job. A couple of hours at most. I guess it s just not going to be here.Good luck.

We definitely trust our car to Silverdale Autoworks. They never fail to impress us with their courtesy and professionalism. We recently had our Audi Q5's brakes replaced. I was taken home in their courtesy van. The car needed a part so they picked me up (I live about a half hour away,) and gave me a loaner, free of charge, while the car was being repaired. Nice!!Soon we will be getting a new van; Silverdale Autoworks will definitely be our go-to shop for any maintenance or repairs.Thank you!

Got an estimate for 788. It doubled miraculously. I called the manager He called me back. He didn t call me first. I had to call him. I f you got 5 grand you don t need go there. Otherwise they ll try a scalp ya. When my war veteran grampa an I got there they had 3 men try an intimidate me to leave. I did not leave When I told them the estimate was double wht they said initially I was answered with well once we dug in we found issues .. . I made it very clear I wanted them to do one specific thing. I had to call them to find out they wanted double the estimate. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB All you had to do was be honest. They didn t even attempt to correct their errors. I will correct my review when I receive an apology for treating my grampa like an atm. Brian the manager front desk guy needs to seriously adjust his approach when dealing with CUSTOMERS. 3 grown men tried to intimidate me. All 3 of them have my address, tht is concerning to me. They also backed into something and left my car in lift mode They said they fixed the car in a report to Carnac. That was a lie. I have compiled paperwork, pictures before and after it went to their shop

Decided to give these guys a try after reading all the good reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. Highly recommend! Excellent customer service means everything to me. Finding a good and honest car repair shop has been a struggle before. But this place is superior. They were honest, very communicative, and finished my car exactly when they said they would. They make sure to give you that little extra special care by throwing in a free wash. They even cleaned my grimy headlamps for free. Silverdale auto works got me in quickly to get my brakes replaced. I originally schedule for all 4 pads and rotors. Brian gave me a call letting me know that they looked everything over and thought my rear brakes were fine (I had been told by another shop that they needed replaced). I trusted Brian s advice and saved a substantial amount of money. They flushed the brake fluid system as well. When I went to pick my car up, they were great about telling me what they did and that they provide a warranty on their work. PLUS my car was sparkling clean!!! I did not expect that at all and it was such a nice surprise. They even cleaned all the windows. Stellar service and attention to detail. They re prices are comparable to other shops but their service and quality of work is superior. I ve had my car back for about a week and the breaks are performing perfectly Service: Brakes

I first got an oil change here and thought it was really reasonable. The next time they charged me a $100 more which i let slide. They put multiple suggestions of things down that needed to done. One is to replace my tires - which i brought to a tire expert and he said they were only halfway done. Another was to replace the rear chassis. They quoted a reasonable price. I made an apt, brought it in, they doubled the price the morning of. Claiming the parts were more than expected. They said they called to let me know - left a v/m but we looked at my phone together - clearly no call or v/m. This isn t a crew that has earned my trust. I would recommend finding another place to get work done.UPDATE: After this review they called to honor my original price on the rear chassis- ($450) but only if I took this review down. That in itself is a sleazy reason to do the right thing. I researched the cost & labor: The rear chassis- $250 for parts. Labor was to pull out 2 bolts, about 15 minutes of work. So the original price at $450 was plenty. Trying to gauge me the day of saying parts were more than expected -wanting to charge me $850 was outrageous. I think the only thing this shop proved to me was that they are looking out for themselves. Not the customer.

I had my old BMW serviced and diagnosed here, and was very happy with the experience. It's a long and convoluted story, but I was charged far under the quoted price, was kept informed of the process, and felt like every interaction I had with the team was professional and polite. This is now high on my list of places to go when I need a repair I can't handle myself.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance

They were friendly, helpful, and did a wonderful job! Efficient and professional; they didn t try to sell us on all the issues with my son s car but just what he asked. This shop came highly recommended to me. I was not disappointed. My passenger rear door would not open and now it does. The folks even tracked down a replacement door for me! I was also sent multiple reminders for my appt, which I appreciated. Very pleasant staff. Gorgeous waiting area.

l glad they were recommend to me years ago when I first moved to this area. First time I used their services was when I had them fix my AC in the car. The dealership I bought it from was trying to tell me that I needed to replace the ENTIRE AC system For over 6 grand (which I knew was BS). Silverdale Autoworks was able to fix it at a much more reasonable (and more logical) cheaper cost. This time my vehicle was due for a tune up and some extra upkeep. They gave me a straight up price for that work (nothing like oh we have to look at it first BS ). They did find another issue that I wasn't fully aware of (but kind of had a suspicion) and they were able to give me an exact cost of that repair. They don t try to bankrupt you like the dealer shops do. Very reasonably priced and very friendly. They explain everything on why items need to be fixed and what may eventually need to be fixed. They don t try to con you into doing more repairs that you really do not need. I really love that they actually have a 2 year warranty on their work (haven t had to use it haha). They did a great job replacing the cracked cylinder head on my 2014 Ford Focus ST. The repair was reasonably quick, with a fair price, below the original estimate, and the car looked as good as when I dropped it off. It also came with a 2 year, 24k mile warranty! My vehicle had no heat in any mode. Scheduled an appointment and scheduled a brake inspection as well. Vehicle drop off process was easy and convenient for me.I had quick one-day service. The repair process for replacing identified defective part was quite involved, would take 13 hours by manual and would be quite expensive for replacing a broken plastic part. The mechanics used their ingenuity and performed a simple fix that may or may not outlast the vehicle. It all works fine, I have heat now in all modes. I didn t even have to break the piggy bank .Brake inspection revealed 50 % or more life left in the brake parts, so no repairs required at this time. That was good to hear.The work was professional and fast. All relations were courteous and friendly. Communication was great, they called me 3 different ways, providing updated repair status.Very pleased with the service. I ll be back when auto service is needed again, for years to come, with all my vehicles.Also, there have been fantastic site upgrades and remodeling, the place looks great.Thanks.Services: A/C installation & repair, Brake service & repair

Silverdale Autoworks is consistently top notch. The office staff down to the clean work bays and timeliness. I went to them last year in an emergency situation and they really eased my stress and found a solution. We have now had all our cars worked on and they continue to do a thorough job. I highly recommend this shop. Our truck broke down less than a week before we were planning to take a long road trip. We were nervous that we would have to cancel our trip as we didn't have another vehicle to tow our trailer. Most shops couldn't fit us in but when we called Silverdale Autoworks they did everything they could to get us running in time. A big thank you to John for keeping in contact with us and making sure we would be ready to go.

This place over charges people. For a set of four tires here is double the price than what it is at discount tire for the same tire. And you d save money. They do the work here but expect to pay a lot more than the job is actually worth. For example it is less than $100 at discount tires for installation. At silverdale auto works it is over $300. So basically you can get better part for the prices you d pay at auto works somewhere else. Michelin tires were at discount tires were the same price as solus tires at silverdale autoworks. Solus at discount tires is half the price than it is at silverdale autoworks. They are ripping customers off here double the prices for work and more.Also the last time I was there I noticed them adjusting the prices after they originally gave me paperwork of the original price. They decided the work they quoted me was worth more. They said they didn t know what I was talking about, but they called me days later, saying they did an audit and do owe me money. I am guessing they are going to keep that. Makes sense since they are charging way more for work there, then compared to work that isn t really that much originally or compared to some place else. I still have the voice mail sent about the audit and money they owe me. When I did address this issue there. I was ignored and was not helpful in explaining why they did that. It appeared the paper was then tossed a side, as if there is nothing that can be done.

Dropped my Range Rover in for check engine pvc issue.Received a call immediately after and Vehical had addition issues. Tech went over all issues and gave me accurate pricing. Am very satisfied with work, timeliness, pricing and timeliness I have had other shops look at suspension issues and said their is no problem. This shop discovered the problem and resolved.This is my first stop to maintain my autobiography L322. I lived at in Germany for 14 yrs where BMW and Mercedes mechanics are top notch. Moving back to the states, I was hesitant taking my BMW here as we in America don t have a good reputation WRT to honest, customer service oriented mechanics . but NOT ANYMORE!! They are truly FANTASTIC! I had a right light malfunction indicator come on. I knew it was likely a simple fix with wiring and/or a change of a light bulb. I also knew they could ve said the entire light box would need to be replaced which would ve cost about 1k total w labor and tax. It was a bulb. That s honesty and they have my business for sure. Additionally, the customer service was A++++! If you want honest service with great customer service, DO NOT GO ANYWHERE else with your foreign automobiles!! Had a great experience after taking my car in for the first time. I had been taking my car(s) to the dealer (Nissan), and after this experience and finding out that some of the techs have prior dealership experience, specifically Nissan, I trust that they have the knowledge and know how to take care of my car with the same if not better care than I had experienced before. They finished the servicing earlier than anticipated and in under an hour. The waiting area was welcoming and a comfortable area to lounge while I waited.Service: Transmission

Work was done quickly, efficiently and without problems. Facility was clean and well-maintained - a good barometer of how they will treat my car. They had a lot of knowledge on Mercedes autos, which was a key for me - I didn't want people guessing on how to fix my car. This is the third time I've taken my car to Silverdale Autoworks, and I think they are outstanding! The repairs were quite extensive this time, and I really appreciated how they kept me informed about what they were finding. They made some great suggestions about things I hadn't considered but which I knew would be the right things to do to keep my car in best condition. I never have the feeling that they are selling up but are indeed providing value when they make suggestions. They have been very responsive with all my questions (!) and I appreciate that as well. I don't want anyone else working on my car.

I emailed and documented at drop off that I wanted an air filter change, diagnostic, and check for leaks (my Audi is a new commuter). When I was called for an update, the mechanic stated he didn't know anything about my air filter request and just started cleaning oil to find a leak. He then read my drop off slip and acknowledged the filter request.As a layperson to the mechanic world, I expected the mechanic to read my request and to call with any clarifications so I'm not charged for services not requested. We re new to the Silverdale area and brought our car in for an oil change and a trip check. They were prompt, courteous and explained in detail what they checked and what the found. They did recommend a brake flush and a restoration of our very yellowed headlights. I knew we hadn t had a brake flush in years and our headlights had bothered us for quite some time.We are thrilled with the way our headlights turned out and feel nice and safe for our upcoming trip. I made a call two weeks ago for 2010 Honda Civic service maintenance estimate. Since my car was seen by a number of auto shops, I was unable to point out what service I needed. But Silverdale Autoworks took my car's plate number and said that he will check CarFax for reported service and maintenance records over the course of my vehicle . I even verified my e-mail to make sure it's updated. Unfortunately, I have not heard from them.Service: Auto maintenance

I only had an oil change scheduled, but while I was there I received an alert that my brake fluid needed to be changed so I asked if they would be able to do it and they fit it in. I thought that was pretty awesome! The inside is closed off for seating however they have outdoor seating with a heater should you choose to wait. Overall my service was great and I love how they sanitize your keys and wipe down your door handles and steering wheel upon turning the car over to you.Service: Oil change
