Dan is a great and honest mechanic. I recently brought my Subaru in with a bad oil leak and he quickly diagnosed the issue, and did an awesome job on replacing my head gaskets, timing chains, and tensioners for a fair price. My engine was cleaned up and looked brand new when I picked up the car. He even took the time to walk me through the repair process while I was there. Highly recommend!

Dan is fantastic and works extremely hard. He took me in last minute over concerns about my brakes. Got an oil change and was in and out in less than 30, extremely affordable in comparison to other mechanics and the chains in the area. Dan is very thorough and explained everything so I understood what my car needed. No up selling, no BS.Super excited to live near such a great mechanic.

Dan is awesome and such a nice man! This was my first time going to Shoreline Auto Repair, and I was a bit hesitant at first because I'm so used to taking my car to the dealership for service. So now that I've wised up and refuse to pay the outrageous fees of the dealership, I looked elsewhere and found Dan. He is honest, and he fixed my car in no time, along with a very affordable rate. The 5 star reviews on this place are 100% accurate. Dan diagnosed and showed me where the problem was within 30 seconds of showing up at the shop. Took my issue as a walk in and had my truck back to me in a couple of hours without breaking the bank. Thank you for taking us in last minute to fix a flat tire! We will definitely be coming back.They charged us the typical price for a flat tire fix. I also asked about a synthetic oil change and they said it costs $85.The store is owned and managed by a sweet couple. If you re looking for a small business that works hard and is honest, this is the shop to go to!Services: Tires, Tire rotations

They were able to get me a fair, dependable locksmith in no time! Sonny Auto Repair's insight and their locksmith's service saved me a lot of hassle and money that I would've spent if I had gone per the advise of the dealership or other locksmiths in the area.

This is an honest and professional mechanic right here. I had just come from another mechanic who had caused some issues with their repair and refused to rectify them in a timely manner. When I came to Sonny s, he squeezed in an evaluation appointment the same day. When I got there there were quite a few cars already at the shop, so it was obvious he was busy and made time for me. He evaluated my warning light issue, and first advised me to have the original shop fix the issue as they d likely caused it. He also advised to give the issue some time as it might resolve itself. He then refused payment for the evaluation when I offered. Clearly they were focused on saving me money and resolving the issue in the best way for me, when they could have just taken my money to do the repair. Thank you Sonny s!!

Went to the dealership and had my truck checked out by them. They figured out what was wrong on a couple things but couldnt diagnose everything. They wanted to charge a crazy amount of money to do the work too!!Luckily I had a minor issue and came here before and sonny was really helpful so I decided to come back again to see how much it would cost.It was like half price of the dealership!!!Not only that he was able to figure out the other issue which the dealership wasn't able to diagnose.This is my go to place now. It's really nice to have a mechanic that knows what he's doing and charges a fair price! Overall a 10/10 experience!!

I was told to bring coolant/antifreeze for my car so I can get it checked out because I had a leak. When I got there, Dan poured his own antifreeze in my car without asking and then charged me for it. Told me to go back to the previous repair shop that fixed our car before. Wasted time. Wasted money. Never going back here ever again. Wish I could rate 0/5 stars.

Above and beyond doesn t even begin to describe my experience at Sonny Auto Repair. My brakes were completely shot and Sonny went out of his way, even repairing a couple of extras free of charge, to get the job done right, in record time and for minimal cost. After a lot of bad experiences previously, it was such a relief to realize that an honest mechanic actually DOES exist... his name is Sonny.*For the record, this is my first ever google review, primarily because I ve never been so impressed by a company or quality of service that I ve received here.Service: Brakes

Sonny is awesome. The shop area looks pretty bad, but that doesn't matter. He knows what he is talking about, really nailed my truck's issue. He seems super honest and straight forward with customers. His prices are reasonable. I'm going back with any future needs.

It is a rare thing for me to meet a truly honest mechanic. My "Check Engine" light was on and the Owner of the shop could have said anything to me to make money, instead he said it seems your system just needed to be rebooted and the light went off. He did not charge me anything...but I gave him $20.00 just because I was so grateful.

Usually i don't write reviews but i decided to take a minute and write 5 star review for this honest mechanic. I have an old Chevy truck and it breaks every 2 month. Sunny,the owner is very knowledgable and honest guy. I like working with him. His prices are always fair. I definitely recommend Sunny to all my friends and neighbors. Thank you again.

I went to this auto shop because of failing an emissions test, and the reviews for this establishment were very good (I always look for honest mechanics). The reason why I gave two stars is because they were able to fit me in immediately. Was the mechanic honest? Yes, but unfortunately honest in the wrong ways: When I paid for my car, I was told repeatedly what a "hot body" I had, and asked if I had a boyfriend. This unprofessional objectification is not what I was looking for when getting my car serviced.

I was checking the oil on my van before a long trip and noticed my serpentine belt was coming apart. I had a backup belt but no time to put it on. Sonny got right on it and did it in under an hour. I'll definitely have him doing some more repairs that I need in the near future!
